While most theologians agree upon the existence and importance of mediated grace, they often
disagree upon the exact nature of its role. What this conflict yields though, is not a sense of discord
and disunity, but a greater appreciation of the immense horizon of grace as perceived by humanity.

The exercise helped me lay aside some of my predispositions. When our group came to scenario 5 I
challenged a few of my fellow group members thoughts as well.
When I read scenario 5, it sounded more like civil war than terrorism. When we took an initial vote,
however, all but two of us labeled Nelson Mandela s actions as terrorism. As we talked, I spoke about
civil war, the right of a people to overthrow oppressive government, and the reasons for established
political parties to take up arms against the majority party. At the end of the discussion, enough of the

While the recitation session was thought provoking, for me it brought up more questions than it
answered. I still am not sure whether scenarios 8 and 9 would be considered hate crime, terrorism, or

Gustav Theodore Holst was born on September 21st, 1874 and died on May 25th, 1934 he was an
English composer and teacher. He was best known for The Planets suite, this composition became
famous internationally after World War One. The Planets was composed from 1914 to 1916, it had
seven movements, each of the movements had the Astrological traits of the planets but had no
connections to mythology. The first movement of the suite is Mars Bringer of War which refers to the
God of War. This movement includes various instruments such as tubas, trumpets, trombones, horns,
timpani, flutes, clarinets, violins, cellos, and snare drums. The movement was characterized by five
beats and a minor scale which indicates the opposite of happy. There is no harmonic purpose in the
Bringer of War piece, I would classify it as an inhuman piece of work because war is horrific,

2. This article is discussing the issue of whether or not we should be spending the money on organic
produce over non organic produce. They are clearly portraying that organic food should be purchased
and consumed over non organic food. They convey the message that non organic food is relatively a
newer concept than organic produce as it has only come into place since 1950s, where before this all
food was originally organic grown. Non organic farmers have at their disposal an arsenal of over 320
pesticides and they use them routinely. Evidence links some of these pesticides with developmental
damage to mammals that could lead to cancers, developmental problems and birth defects. They re
claims that these pesticides are all below safe limits, but it is all very suspicious, whereas organic
produce is hardly ever found with any traces of harmful pesticides or food additive as they are only

ash was that it absorbed some fragments from Japanese artillery. The Japanese heavy artillery in
Suribachi was reinforced with steel doors and would only open them to fire, and then would closed
them immediately to prevent receiving damage from the Marines and naval gunners. This made it a
challenge for American units to destroy the heavily fortified Japanese artillery position. To make
things harder for the Marines, the bunkers were connected to tunnel systems so that the Japanese
bunkers that got cleared with flamethrowers and grenades were re occupied by the Japanese troops
moving through the tunnels. This tactic used by the Japanese caused many casualties to the Marines,

The purpose of this experiment was to nitrate naphthalene with nitronium ion, which is formed at low
concentration from a reaction of nitric acid and sulfuric acid. The percent yield from the experiment
was 54.4% of the product, and the melting point of the possible results were 59 °C for 1
nitronaphthalene, and 78°C for 2 nitronaphthalene.

Polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene can be nitrated by the same methods as
benzene derivatives, including the well known mixed acid method that utilizes a mixture of nitric acid
