Mrs. Turnell has worked in the Cherokee County School District since 1996 in various roles, including as a guidance counselor at Etowah High School. She has a Bachelor's degree from Emory University and advanced degrees from Georgia State University and the University of Georgia. Mrs. Turnell is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Kennesaw State University.
