2. COVID-19 Pandemic
At this time much is discussed about Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). What is
Corona Virus? Reporting from who.int , coronavirus (COVID-19) is an infectious disease
caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Launch The Guardian (8/4/2020) Professor Stephen
Turner, Head of Monash University's Microbiology Department, Melbourne, believes that this
virus is most likely derived from bats. The hypothesis stating that this virus stems from
interactions between humans and animals in the Wuhan animal market (2019), according to

that this is a world pandemic. Many people are affected by this virus, there are around 7.41
million cases confirmed globally and there are 38,277 cases confirmed on June 14, 2020 in
Indonesia according to covid19.go.id an official website from the Indonesian government.
Many people died from this virus attack and some were healed. The percentage of those who
die and recover is also far away. Therefore, the world specifically, WHO recommends for
everyone to do good and correct health protocols, the same as said by the President of Indonesia
"Do not forget to wear masks, wash hands, and always cleanse yourself after we do activities
outside the home."
Death Rate due to Corona Virus (COVID-19) According to data released by the Task
Force of the Republic of Indonesia for the Acceleration of COVID-19 handling, the number of
