INVENTED BY THE FRENCH CHEMIST GEOGES LECLANCHE IN THE LATE
1860’S. AT THE TIME THIS INVENTION WAS VERY IMPORTANT AND HELPED THE
START OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.
IT ALLOWED PEOPLE WITH PORTABLE ELECTRICITY.
IN CHEMISTRY OPPOSITES ALLWAYS ATTRACT
Paradoxical Intention
Sweating Out Your Fears

An example was given in Frankl’s book
Man’s Search for Meaning. A young
physician who had a fear of perspiring.
His anticipatory anxiety of perspiration
actually caused him to excessively sweat
around certain individuals. Frankl
advised the patient to use paradoxical
intention, by deliberately showing people
how much he could sweat. When the
patient tried this, he was able to
permanently free himself of a 4-year-old
phobia, within one week.

Visionaries see a future of telecommuting workers, interactive
libraries and multimedia classrooms. They speak of
electronic town meetings and virtual communities. Commerce and
business will shift from offices and malls to networks and
modems. And the freedom of digital networks will make
government more democratic.

What’s turning us on right now.
There is one thing turning us on

Anything creative tells a story.
There are the obvious ones.

And ‘stories’ are becoming even more
associated with our lives with facebook now
Brands too are
   associating
themselves with
     them.
And as a team we try to tell
 great stories all the time.
Stories can work well when

We wanted to show you
   something new.
A story you hadn't seen before.
So this is our story about finding
  a great undiscovered story.
We started by thinking.
The best stories are
the ones people remember.
And the longer you live,
the more stories you have.
And if you are old, the stories that you do
                 have are
the ones that have stayed with you for a

LAW OF CONSERVATION
         O F E NERGY
Energy in a system may take on
various forms (e.g. kinetic,
potential, heat, light). The law of
conservation of energy states
that energy may neither be
created nor destroyed. Therefore
the sum of all the energies in the
system is a constant.

• The business of business is to serve the needs of society.

• The rewards of good service are profits.

• Big business has got away with it, relying on our feelings of helplessness.

• But the tools of protest can change that.

• They are also the tools to create a fairer world.

• And you are the people who understand them
