Camera shots and angles can be used to manipulate the viewer's perspective and emotions. There are five main shot sizes - close-up, long shot, medium shot, and single/two/three shots defined by the number of subjects. Camera angles include eye level, low angles to make subjects appear powerful, and high angles to make them seem small. Over-the-shoulder shots are used to convey conflict between characters. Together, shots and angles allow filmmakers to tell stories visually.
