Feedback from
Workshop: Audience
Sophie Boston
This we left as
a qualitative
response
rather than a
quantitive one
because we
wanted the
participants to
express their
own opinions.
However it
seems we
have a clear
winner – the
making of the
short film
proved to be
the best part!
This was perhaps the most
crucial part of the feedback
because it’s the one
question that lets us know
where perhaps our
workshop didn’t go see
well and could do with a
little improvement. It’s
pleasing to see that the
aspect we would little work
on is the introduction to
the BFI course because that
means most of them found
it interesting. Camera and
editing are almost the
same and for me
personally I think my
improvements would be to
be more thorough in my
explanation of the lighting
equipment and perhaps tell
them a bit more about the
camera models and their
features.
This response was
brilliant to see
especially as my skill
to improve on was
communication which
also includes being
able to get
instructions across
and it looks like I and
Tom got them across
clear as all the
participants clicked
‘yes’.
Again, as my skill that I wanted to improve on was communication this is
pleasing and makes me feel like I have developed this skill of mine as all the
participants felt both myself and my team mate were approachable which
then suggests they felt comfortable with us.
For me especially this results is brilliant as it depicts that the participants
felt they’d learnt the most from camera which was my speciality. It’s
excellent to see they learnt something which makes me feel good as it
meant my teaching and communication skills were adequate.
This is great to
see, as it
means our
workshop paid
off as all the
participants
would either
definitely go
for the BFI
course or
would
definitely think
about it! These
results
hopefully
mean our
introduction to
the BFI was
successful.
This is of course
very pleasing to
see, as
everyone felt
the workshop
was worth their
time and would
want to do it
again which
suggests we did
an alright job!
Also the fact
that they would
recommend it
to their friends
also highlights
that our
workshop was
beneficial.
Although there was no comments left from the participants this is
also a good thing as it hopefully means there were no bad points to
the workshop 
