Evaluation Question 3
1. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Evaluation Question 3
2.
3. As well as gaining lots of useful feedback I think that the main problem at the ‘Rough cut’ stage was that there was not enough ‘Happy scenes’ at the beginning of the trailer to help build tension before the ‘Horror’ began. Not only did my media class think that it was vital we added this but also other friends therefore I knew that it was very important I filmed more scenes where the group were having fun in the woods. This influenced me to film some films in the daylight to show a process of good times turning to bad. From day to night time, I also thought that this would create tension I also asked Kirsty’s sister, my sister and our friend Mica and Sophie’s opinion These were there views.
4. After i finished the trailer I again added it to my blog in order to gain further feedback on what could still be improved. Although I was mainly happy with what was achieved by gaining further feedback I was able to slightly change some small things in order to make it even better Link to Youtube Video My media teacher Mr. Mcrae had some interesting points on what I could change slightly. He also gave me feedback on what he thought the strong points of my trailer was so I knew exactly what I should not change I was then able to edit a few things before I made it completely final
5. I also decided to find ways other than by asking people to gain feedback on my trailer I concluded that by adding the video to my facebook page I was able to reach a wider audience and could gain even more information on what they thought of the trailer All of the comments that i gained were very positive and helpful. The comments from those who studied media themselves were of most use as they used media terminology
