This document presents a theoretical study on wave propagation in viscoelastic wedges with arbitrary angles, focusing on the complex phase velocity influenced by rheological properties. The boundary value problem is solved using the method of lines, leading to results that show significant increases in wave propagation velocities and damping characteristics when accounting for viscoelastic material properties. The research highlights important comparisons with existing data, revealing up to 20% differences and validating the application of simplified theories in specific wedge angle scenarios.
