This document discusses using present tenses to talk about the future in English. It explains that the present simple is used for events based on official timetables or calendars. The present continuous is used for people's plans and arrangements. Verbs like "hope", "expect", and "intend" take a "to"-infinitive clause to indicate uncertainty. In subordinate clauses like "if" clauses, the present simple is normally used to refer to future events. The present perfect is used to show a condition must be met before a future action.
This document discusses the present perfect tense in English. It explains that the present perfect tense is used to talk about experiences without specifying when they occurred, actions that began in the past and continue in the present, and past actions that have present results. It provides examples for each usage and explains how to form the positive, negative, and interrogative forms of the present perfect tense. It also discusses the use of words like "already", "yet", "for", and "since" with the present perfect tense.

The learning objectives are for students to maintain interpersonal relationships through hopes, identify sentence structures and vocabulary related to hopes, and write texts expressing hopes. The document discusses the future tense in English. It provides examples of how to express the future using verbs like "will" and "shall". It explains that the future tense is formed by using "will" or "shall" plus the base verb form. It also discusses the future perfect tense, which uses "will/shall have" plus the past participle. It notes some irregular verbs in the future tense and provides examples of forming questions and negatives.
The future continuous tense, also called the future progressive tense, refers to an action that will be ongoing or in progress at some point in the future. It is formed using "will/shall be + present participle (-ing form)" of the verb. Some key uses of the future continuous include describing interrupted or parallel actions that will occur at the same time in the future, predicting or guessing future events, and asking politely about future plans. The future continuous can also be formed using "be going to be + infinitive" with little difference in meaning.
This document discusses the structures and uses of "will" and "going to" when talking about the future in English. It explains that "will" has the structure of subject + "will" + base verb, while "going to" uses subject + "be" + "going to" + base verb. It provides examples of how each can be used to make predictions, plans, promises, and more. The document also discusses the relationship between these structures and the present continuous tense, and how to use them in positive, negative, and interrogative sentences.

common)
