2. For my double page spread, one of the very first things that I did was bring my Masthead into
my double page spread. I felt this was something essential that I had to do as it keeps the name
of the magazine in people ‘s minds, due to it being a new issue/magazine.
3. In terms of the text for both my title and my text in terms of the content, I used a sans serif font.
On the left hand side where my title is I used a standard sans serif font but coloured it in red as
this is the main house style colour for my magazine as well as it being a popular colour. With my
content, I also used a sans serif font but used a font called “Elephant”. I felt as if the sans serif
font was appropriate for my magazine as sans serif is more of a modern font and I wanted to
replicate this modern vibe throughout my magazine.
4. This here is the overall finished product for my double page spread. Something that was key
about this the image. Instead of having a normal white background, I enlarged the image ad
used the gradient tool to fade out one side of the picture to give it more of unique style
effect. I believe this added to the appeal of my magazine as it was a bit different from
others.
