1. Examples Of Illustration Essays
Writing an essay on the topic of "Examples of Illustration Essays" can be quite challenging, as it
requires a thorough understanding of the concept of illustration essays and the ability to provide
clear and compelling examples to support the main points. The difficulty lies in not only selecting
relevant and diverse examples but also in effectively conveying the message to the audience.
One challenge is the need for extensive research to find suitable examples that can illustrate and
support the chosen theme or idea. This research process demands time and effort to ensure that
the examples are not only relevant but also diverse enough to create a comprehensive and well-
rounded essay.
Furthermore, crafting an engaging introduction and a strong thesis statement is crucial to set the
tone for the essay. Developing a logical and coherent structure to present the examples is another
hurdle, as it requires careful planning to ensure a smooth flow of ideas and a clear progression of
thoughts throughout the essay.
The actual writing process involves expressing ideas concisely and persuasively while
maintaining clarity. Each example must be analyzed and explained in a way that adds value to
the overall argument. Balancing the depth of analysis with the overall word count can be tricky,
as the essay needs to be informative without becoming overly verbose.
Moreover, revising and editing are essential steps to refine the essay and eliminate any
inconsistencies or redundancies. This requires a keen eye for detail and a willingness to revise
multiple drafts to achieve the desired level of clarity and coherence.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Examples of Illustration Essays" demands a
combination of research skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication. It is a task that
requires dedication and patience to navigate through the complexities of selecting, presenting,
and analyzing examples. For those who find this process overwhelming, it's worth noting that

2. Common Good Argument
Galston (2013) claims that idea of the common good has real content in theory and
real utility in practice , throughout his essay on the common good, he provides
sufficient evidence to back his main claim and he uses it to refute the arguments of
others. He defines three key aspects of the common good to support his claim of the
common good having real content in theory , these include: Inherently social goods,
Social linkages and The good of the commons. Galston (2013) then proceeds to give
evidence on the concept of bargaining and the U.S. Constitution; he uses these
examples to support his claim that the common good has real utility in practice . I
believe Galston understands the academic conversation around the common good

One example he gives based on inherently social goods is humor, telling a joke to
oneself is virtually impossible, because humor requires surprise , as a result, this
allows us to make the inference that there are certain aspects of life that require the
company of others and without it, the good (humor in this case) would be lost.
Galston (2013) states that The good of the commons is when how people behave
in shared social spaces impacts others (p.11). If we carelessly leave an
unextinguished fire in a camp ground, the entire facility may go up in flames. (p.11),
this shows how the common good includes everyone s best interests and this
example in fact shows that it does have real content in theory as it is quite easy to
imagine the scenarios he has presented, occurring in real
3. The Correlation Between The Value Of Time Series Of...
Autocorrelation
Autocorrelation is defined as the correlation between the value of time series at a
specific time and previous values of the same series (Reference). In other words,
with time series what happens in time t contains information about what will happen
at time t+1. Autocorrelation plots are a commonly used tool for checking
randomness in a data set. This randomness is ascertained by computing
autocorrelations for data values at varying time lags. If random, such
autocorrelations should be near zero for any and all time lag separations. If non
random, then one or more of the autocorrelations will be significantly non zero. The
autocorrelation plots can provide answers to questions such as are the data random?
Is an observation related to an adjacent observation? Is the observed time series white
noise, sinusoidal or autoregressive? They help in understanding the underlying
relationship between the data points. The autocorrelation plots of 4 time series of
heating operating system are as follows :
a. Supply temperature setpoint : The plot starts with a high correlation at lag 1 which
is slightly less than 1 and slowly declines. It continues to decrease until it becomes
negative and starts showing an increasing negative correlation. The decreasing
autocorrelation is generally linear with little noise. Such a pattern in the
autocorrelation plot is a signature of strong autocorrelation , which in turn provides
high predictability if modeled properly. b. System

A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O Connor
A Good Man is Hard to Find is an extremely powerful commentary that elucidates
Flannery O Connor s opinions about religion and society. Like the majority of her
other works, A Good Man is Hard to Find has attracted many interpretations based on
Christian dogma (Bandy 1). These Christian explications are justified because Miss
O Connor is notorious for expressing Catholic doctrines through her fiction. Once she

longstanding reputation compels every critic of O Connor to expose the religious

The grandmother and the Misfit are essentially the only characters of significance.
The other characters such as June Star or Bailey Boy merely reflect O Connor s
observations about society. The other characters have little affect on the central
theme of the story. The Misfit and the grandmother seem to be the exact opposite.
The grandmother seems to be a harmless busybody, utterly self absorbed but also
amusing (Bandy 2). The Misfit fits the stereotypical cast of an escaped convict.
Ironically, their similarities will allegorize Flannery O Connor s notion that a good
man or woman is hard to find.
A literal interpretation of the grandmother portrays an elderly southern woman
attempting to maintain the proper and genteel values of the South. The grandmother
places great importance on her appearance and the opinions of others. This
importance is revealed at the beginning of their journey when the story compares the
grandmother, a reflection of the past, to the daughter in law, a reflection of the present:
The children s mother still had on slacks and still had her head tied up in a green
kerchief, but the grandmother had on a navy blue straw sailor hat with a bunch of
white violets on the brim and a navy blue dress with white dot in the print. Her
collars and cuffs were white organdy trimmed with lace and at her neckline she had a

Masterpieces in art was traditionally known as a work done with extraordinary skill;
especially a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement. The works of Giotto in the
Arena chapel are classified as masterpieces because, these pieces signal the time of
Giotto establishing his own style that would then spread throughout Italy. Many of
his contemporaries recognized his talent, Renaissanceartists and writers insisted that
Giotto was their true artistic ancestor. At few other moments in the history of

While Masaccio was experimenting with capturing realism of the human anatomy,
the Manuscript emphasizes the blood of Christ rather than the body of Christ. The
manuscript opens with three pages that seem to foreshadow the book s contents.
Each is covered with several bright red drops of blood raining down against a black
background (Areford, 76). As shown in The Five Wounds Of Christ instead of
focusing on the body of Christ, the piece focuses on the wounds in the hands and
feet of Christ, with the center containing the heart with a bloody lance pierced
through it. The wounds of Christ are further emphasized by the grain in the wood
of the cross, whose pattern mimics that of wounds. The manuscripts focused on the
symbolism of the blood, Each leaf, is covered in dense layers of carefully painted
wounds of varying shades of red, one on top of the other, each dripping with blood.
The painting creates the unsettling impression that the pages are profusely bleeding.

want. This has made the internet full of rumors. One thing that has changed from
before the digital age is the ease of being able to post online articles online. Before
either a rumor could be heard on the radio or read in the newspaper like the rumor
of Paul McCarthy s death. It was much harder to spread rumors back then because
so few people had access to resources that could reach an entire nation. Now anyone
has access to this resource just by posting online, many newspapers are trying to
go digital because people are not reading the newspaper like they used to due to the
internet. Someone with no credibility can post a bogus rumor online and that
rumor can be read by millions of people which was the case with Gov. Nikki Haley.
Before the digital age you needed credibility to post an article about someone and
that has changed due to the internet. Now anyone with internet access can see news

The read/write learner is advised to: develop lists, make outlines, obtain study guides,
take notes, and write words to the notes several times. It is also recommended to read
notes silently, rewrite and paraphrase ideas into other words. Converting graphs,
charts, and diagrams into worded statements help the student with a strong read/write
preference to understand the meanings contained in the visual material. Meaning is
found in words; therefore the student with a read/write learning preference should
search for words that describe the meaning of a concept by breaking the concept into
textual points. (Fleming, n.d.). The previously mentioned recommended learning
strategies for the very strong read/write learning preference of this student compare

11. Napoleon Bonaparte Thesis
Introduction
Napoleon was the son of Carlo Buonaparte and Letizia Buonaparte, born in Corsica.
He started off as a rather disliked man by his fellow officers, although his stunning
military victories allowed him to quickly rise through the military rankings. At the
young age of twenty five, he was promoted to the rank of brigadier general. Shortly
after the coup d etat of 1799, when Napoleon overthrew the Directory, he became the
young emperor of France determined to strengthen and expand his empire.
Thesis
Although many viewed Napoleon Bonaparte as a ruthless dictator, he could ve also
been considered a child of the Enlightenment, based upon his numerous reforms.
Napoleon wrote out the Civil Code, or Code Napoleon. This document granted ...

Not only did he centralize the administrative system, he also kept eighty three
departments from the Revolution. Furthermore, taxation was made more efficient
and fair. Also, promotion in office was based on skill, and not whether or not one
was born into a noble family. Napoleon also shared the idea of Rousseau on having a
general will or consensus, as he held a plebiscite where people could vote yes or no.
Con Enlightenment Reforms
Although he wrote the Code Napoleon, he also took away rights from women. For
example, a woman could be convicted for adultery and imprisoned if caught with
another man. On the other hand, a man could have as many mistresses as he wanted,
as long as he did not bring one home.
Napoleon took away rights from Jews, despite being religiously tolerant towards
every other religion.
Napoleon restored slavery to the French caribbean islands, and even executed
Toussaint Louverture, a man who led a successful slave rebellion against Napoleon in
Haiti.
Napoleon censored many newspapers in France and exiled Germaine de Stael, a
woman who wrote things declaring him as

Emily s mother, also named Emily, did not appear to have a close relationship with
her daughter. Perhaps her inability to see past the quirky, witty, personality traits of
young Emily was due to her lack of intelligence in comparison to her daughter. The
Dickinson family attended the Amherst First Congregational Church. Emily chose
to frequently miss church and this trend continued into her adulthood. Emily
declared, I am standing alone in rebellion (Gabrher, Hagenbuchle, Miller 33).
Instead she chose to take what she knew from her past religious experiences,
coupled with science, nature, philosophy and especially the Bible (Gabrher,
Habenbuchle, Miller 33). Emily lived in a home on West street from the age of
nine to twenty five. Emily appeared to spend quite a bit of time in her room which
happened to overlook a graveyard. She would sit and watch out the window daily
at the funerals and burials. It was thought that this type of exposure to death may
have affected her thoughts and poems greatly. The impact of death hit close to
home for Emily due to the loss of her cousin, Sophia Holland, and the sudden loss of
their gardener s baby, both at complete unexpected times (Gordon 33). This
accompanied with the loss of a close schoolmates mother set the tone for Emily s fear
of death. Emily
13. An Outsider Contract
As companies are artificial entities, those who are elected to manage them are acting
in their directing mind and will. It appears that an outsider contracts with a company
while it is the director who negotiate the contract and who make representations on
behalf of the company. So it is essential that those who manage companies (directors)
be engaged in appropriate duties.
In this article I will specify the director s fiduciary duties contained by directors
being loyal and faithful to the company, as well as being care and diligence, then
expound the dutis breached in Cook v Deeks case.
1.The duty to act in good faith: directors must genuinely believe that they are acting
for, and in the interests of, the company.
It means directors must honestly act for the interests of the company, and by
company, generally it means the company as a whole rather than some specific
indicidual s interests.
However, it is only one of the various factors relevant to a courts consideration of
whether they have acted in good faith where directors make decisions affecting their
company s interests their own view of their conduct. which means that directors will
not necessarily comply with their duty merely because they have an honest belief that
they are acting in the company s best interest, which means that directors will not
necessarily comply with their duty merely because they have an honest belief that
they are acting in the company s best interest. For example, in case Advance Bank v

As a child growing up you meet many people that you like. Everyone tends to make
your day from the kind stranger whom gave you a dollar at the grocery store to
your neighbor that lets you pet their dog. As I ve gotten older I ve grown to love
people more than like. Moreover, I have made many long term friendsand continue to

a freshman in college and making more friends than ever. Although I ve only been
here for three weeks, I have a large circle of friends that I like very much. Since
then, the circle has gotten smaller. Now, there is one person that I do like the most,
Vanessa Rodgers.
In fact, Vanessa is one of my twelve close friends that I have made since I first got

also from my hometown, Houston, Texas. Vanessa is the opposite of me on the

also very sarcastic and hilarious. Our friends and strangers alike say that we re
good people to be around. Always making someone laugh or if you ever need a

With a full basement, your foundation walls should be high enough so that you have
at least seven feet, four inches of head space in the finished basement. The finished
foundation should be waterproofed from the footing to the finish grade line. The
foundation is poured, sleeves are installed in the forms before pouring for such
things as the water supply and the sewage outlet, the pipe is placed through the hole
and the space between the pipe and the wall is patched. This is the easiest method
used to get a tight, waterproof fit. .

water pipes that will be under the concrete.

it is just prior to pouring the concrete. Sometimes it is recommended and expansion
joints of fiber board are installed around the perimeter Garages are subject to extreme
temperature changes and concrete expands and contracts with those changes. The
expansion joint permits this expansion without cracking the concrete.

16. The Russian Expansionist Policy And Its Geography Essay
The Setting
The Russian expansionist policy was a natural corollary to its geography. Situated on
the cross road between Europe and Asia, Russia had a position of advantage for
expanding its influence in both the directions. As for its own frontier, Russia was in a
very unfavourable position. In the north, the Arctic region was frozen for a great part
of the year both in the Tundras and the Seas. On the East, towards the Pacific, the
Russians had to come in open contestation with the Chinese empire. On the West, the
powerful armies of the Western European States kept the Russians at bay; thanks to
the devastations that Napoleonic wars created which prepared the states to counter
any possible invasion in their territories. In the South, their move was temporarily
checked by the powerful Osmanlis in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Thus,
facing natural obstacles in the north and hostile oppositions in the East, West and
South, the Russian were forced to seek an outlet for their trade and this was only
possible in the South East through the Kirghiz Steppes and in the South through the
Caucasus. There were several motives behind the Russian expansion in Central Asia;
firstly, the desire for protection from hostile attacks, secondly, economic necessities
and lastly, the desire to establish a large empire.
Territorial expansion into new lands had been one of the most important political
agendas of the Russian Tsar since the time of Ivan IV (r.1533 84), but the

for life and dark denotes the death. We originated from nature and we will return to
it. Notion of darkness in the poem becomes both creator and destroyer, an image
which initiates the cyclical process of the poem . (CABRAL,2005,p.10)
Central motif of death in the poem is in the first stanza presented as comeback to
the natural world and losing of self in favor of creating unity along with the
elements. This idea differs as the reader moves to the second stanza and reads about
generic death, or individual one. Similarly as in the Thomas previous poem, he
moves from general issue to the more individual or even personal one, that is typical
feature of his style of writing.

I shall not murder is a typical allusion to the Ten Commandments, and Nor blaspheme
down the stations of the breath stands for another expression that forbid disturbing
the childВґs death that is presented as sacred. (CABRAL,2005,p.11)
Deep with the first dead lies London s daughter,
Robed in the long friends,
The grains beyond age, the dark veins of her mother,
Secret by the unmourning water
Of the riding Thames.
After the first death, there is no other.
Motif of death is constantly present. The reader is still aware of this condition of a
child and that the poet refuses to mourn. The phrase London s daughter is a reference
to the child that was killed in London, the grains may stand for the human race.
Unmourning water is a reminder that despite the death, water does not mourn,
because it is a part of the natural world, as is a human being and water knows that it
is no reason to mourn because of the cyclical aspect of life of everything living.
This idea of eternity of the nature and human soul is expressed through the whole
poem, combined with the elements of religion and Christianity as was supported
by analysis of Cabral and Rukhaya. The symbol of the child is not used as
reference of innocence or another primary definition of this symbol, but here in this
poem, it stands for life not blossomed yet that was taken away but author refuses to
mourn it, because he knows that the life is eternal. He also feels rage against this
senseless death of a life that almost did not start

A disability that many people are faced with is ADHD. ADHD is usually developed
as a child and some people have it forever while others it could last until they are
adults. People who have it tend to talk too much, affects their behavior, forgets or lose
things, has a hard time getting along with people, and falls into temptation easily
(CDC). Determining what your symptoms are can help you figure out what type of
ADHD you might have. There are three different types of ADHD and they are
predominantly inattentive Presentation, predominantly hyperactive impulsive
presentation, and combined type. Predominantly Inattentive Presentation is when
someone has a difficult time completing a task or following directions and are too
distracted to remember their daily routines. Predominantly Hyperactive Impulsive

I also thought that this disability was something that someone would have to live
with for the rest of their lives, but now I know that if someone who has it there is a
small chance that the disability sympthoms will decrease over time. I went to high
school with a kid who had ADHD and I saw that it was very hard for them to get
close to anyone and they had a hard time focusing while in class. There were many
children in my class that had other disabilities and my school made smaller classes
for all the children with disabilities they taught them the material at a slow pace and
they would give them extra time on tests. When having a disability, I think the
hardest thing to do is to go to school and I think that really affects a child s
development. It affects their learning, makes it hard to make friends, and some
people bully children with

Pulkovo was the first airport to be developed in Russia using a PPP. The contract is

existing airport suffered from overcrowding and would be unable to cater for the 11

21. Examples Of Metafiction In Northanger Abbey
Metafiction Northanger Abbey is a perfect example of the clever use of
metafiction to get across the point that regular life doesn t need to be all that
exciting to be enjoyable. Jane Austen wrote the novel as a parody of the gothic
genre by using the structure of the genre and being satirical with it and the
importance of this I think is to convey while books are fascinating they are not real
life. Austen had written other more serious gothic works but this one specifically
wasn t made to mock the genre but point out to society how well its conventions
work in a real world setting which is to say they don t. Austen also writes the novel
metafictionally for the betterment of society of her time. The very first line of the

Austen wants to see the change in the world and she is trying to make it possible the
only way she can think of. Northanger Abbey is a metafiction because it reflects a
fictional story in a non fictional way it allows the reader to be so engrossed in a
story that ends up being something that could happen to anyone of that time. What s
gained from this novel is the movement forward of society, the progression from not
only the gothic genre but the ideas tied to it. With this parody Austen allowed the
forward thinking of other authors to be more playful with their genres. Austen had a
real world effect from her novel which is what any author wants its something they
seek, and she accomplished it with this meta fiction. With characters Austen created
young girls were able to see themselves in Catherine, a girl who just wanted a story
as adventurous and mysterious as a gothic but was given a story much more suiting
of girl of the time, just a normal tale with a normal

Do you own Adobe Photo shop? Have you ever seen pictures of hearts or stars and
ever wandered how people created them? Have no worries, it s not difficult at all.
It s actually quite easy, and I will explain how to do so. During this tutorial we will
be using Adobe Photo shop CS2. Adobe is the best Graphics Program to design in.
I highly recommend it to anyone who does not have it. First, you will need to open
up a new blank document. You can make the size any size that you want. I am
using a 200 x 200 pixels white document. Once you have the new document opened
you will want to select a color you want to use. For this tutorial I will be using the
color red. After you select the perfect color that fits your needs, go to the Custom
Shapes tool (Picture 1). After you click it, a tool bar will appear at the top. You
will need to click the drop down arrow and search for your heart or any other shape
you d like to use (Picture 2). After you have selected the shape that you d like to
use, go to your blank document and click it and the shape will start to appear once
you move it on the document. Stretch out the shape until it fits your taste (Picture

look even prettier by adding special effects to the heart. Go to your Layers Palette
and right click and select Blending Options. A box will pop up on your screen. Now
you want to click Stroke, and change the color to the same color as the heart,

which are extinguished when the mind is put to rest . If we view Buddhismin this lens,

The journey home that Buddhists refer to as the privilege of enlightenment, the
ultimate truth, is called the paramattha. The Paramattha is not the same journey as
other faiths profess, because other faiths, like the science known as psychology,
emphasize outside influence, in one way or another, in the ancient long search for
understanding. Understanding life, afterlife, existence, thought, personality, behavior,

DISCIPLE MAKING IN THE LOCAL CHURCH
A Written Assignment 3
Cynthia Taylor
DSMN 500 B10
September, 2014
SUMMARY
According to Early Dempsey, a disciple is a person, while discipleship is a process. A
disciple is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who is intimately involved in the
mission of Christ. On the other hand, discipleship is the process of moving the
disciple towards spiritual maturity and the mission of Christ. Being a disciple is God
s perfect will for every individual life; however, discipleship is God s will for every
individual church [1]
The Great Commission denotes that disciples must be made. Many worship
opportunities have been provided by the church such as fellowship, bible study and
church events that will aid in developing the mind set of Christ, being obedient to the
commands of Christ, engaging in his commission and being transformed into His
image. According to Jesus disciples need to be made and informed.
How disciple are made? According to Disciple Shift, pastor and author Jim Putman
describes diverse stages of spiritual growth with simplicity. In defining these five
spiritual growth stages he informs the reader of their beliefs and how the local church
and a Christian community should implement a plan to help individuals to maturity
in reaching these stages: spiritually dead, spiritual infants, spiritual children, spiritual
young adults, and spiritual parents.
Spiritually dead the first stage comprising of sinners, unsaved

Chapter III. Anopheles larval productivity in natural habitats and the role of grass
volatiles on oviposition preferences by An. arabiensis and An. coluzzii
3.1. Introduction
Oviposition site selection by gravid Anopheles malaria mosquitoes is a key moment
in the reproductive success of the individual, and thus the population dynamics of
the species (Ndenga et al., 2011; White et al., 2011b). Consequently, the search for
an oviposition site has important implications with regard to the control of malaria
vectors (White et al., 20112b). When insects select oviposition sites, they make
choices on increasingly fine spatial scales, starting with selecting a habitat in which
to search (Hambäck et al., 2009; Raffa et al., 2016; Webster and ... Show more

Vegetation often populates these wetland habitats (Ndenga et al., 2011; Fillinger et
al., 2004; Minakawa et al., 2012), and An. gambiae/An. coluzzii and An. arabiensis
are commonly found amongst cattails (Typha spp.; Typhaceae) and dallis grasses
(Paspalum spp.; Poaceae) (BГёgh et al., 2003; Gouagna et al., 2012; Khater et al.,
2013). In contrast, habitats populated by reeds (Phragmites spp.; Poaceae) and
papyrus (Cyperus papyrus; Cyperaceae) generally produce low numbers of
mosquitoes (Fillinger et al., 2004; Goma, 1960; Yohannes et al., 2005), probably due
to the natural oil production of these species that reduces larval survivorship
(Mouchet et al., 1998; Lindsay and Martens, 1998). Hence, grasses appear to play an
important role in the natural breeding site selection of An. arabiensis and An.
gambiae/An. coluzzii. Yet, the influence of natural grasses and other emergent
vegetation on the oviposition site selection by gravid female Anopheles mosquitoes is
not clearly understood. Moreover, the nature of the volatiles emitted from wild
grasses and how they affect the behaviour of An. arabiensis and An. gambiae/An.
coluzzii has not been investigated to date.
The objective of this study was to investigate anopheline larval occurrence and
abundance in natural

Gene Expression of Soybeans (Glycine max) in Response to Bacterial Inoculants,
Rhizoboost, Defensor and Rhizobium under abiotic Stress (heat condition) in Glycine
max
Proposal by Noor Sairafi and Dr. Sue Hum Musser
Western Illinois University, Department of Biology
Abstract Several microorganisms have the ability to promote plant growth and
produce compounds which are known to stimulate plant defenses by inducing
systemic resistance (ISR) in attacked plants (1). Bacillus species are commonly used
in formulating microbial fertilizers due to their rapid beneficial effects in colonizing
plant root and establishing Rhizobia bacteria mutualism inside their root structure. In
this paper research, I will observe this unique interaction by examining the gene
expression of soybeans (Glycine max) and their response to bio inoculants under a
heat stress. I will use four different treatments: control, Defensor, Rhizoboost,
Defensor and Rhizobium, and Rhizoboost and Rhizobium. Once the infected seeds
germinate, I will incubate soybean seeds at 25 oC and 37 oC for approximately 16
hours followed by grinding seeds for RNA purification. Gene expression data will
be then obtained and collected via qPCR analysis followed by microarray analysis
for more data confirmation. Additionally, a two way ANOVA and a Tukey s
multiple comparison test will be used to determine the significance of the data. This
study will give us a good idea on the effect of bacterial fertilizers (Defensor,
34. Fluid Mechanics 3-Aerofoil Lab Report Essay
Fluid Mechanics 3 Aerofoil Lab Report Introduction This report aims to investigate
the effect the angle of attack of an aerofoil has on the air flow around it. This was
done by recording the lift and drag forces the aerofoil experienced when positioned
at different angles of attack. The experimental lift force the aerofoil experienced
when positioned at different angles of attack was then compared with theoretical
values. An attempt was made to explain any discrepancies between experimental
and theoretical values. Theory When air is blown over an aerofoil, it separates into
two distinct sets of streamlines above and below it separated by a dividing
streamline. The shape of the aerofoil... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The protractor of the aerofoil connected to the lift and drag voltmeters was then
used to vary the aerofoil s angle of attack from 0В° to 20В°. Lift and Drag voltage
values measured for each angle were recorded and calibration coefficients of 6.7
and 6.4 were used to obtain force Newton values for lift and drag. The lift and drag
forces obtained for each angle were then plugged into equations (3) and (4) to
obtain lift and drag coefficients. Equation (5) was used to calculate a theoretical
value for the lift coefficient. (3) A represents the area of the aerofoil (4) (5) The
values obtained were then tabulated, graphed and compared. The Reynolds number
of this experiment was then calculated using equation (4) where c is the length of
the aerofoil chord and is the dynamic viscosity of air. (6) Results Equation (6) was
used to calculate the Reynolds Number which equated to 119366. Discussion The
graph in Figure 3 confirms the theory stating that as the angle of attack of an
aerofoil increases, the lift force it experiences also increases until it reaches stall
position. The graph clearly shows the lift coefficient steadily increasing with angle
of attack. This is due to the fact that as that as angle of attack increases, the point at
which the airflow separates into streamlines going above and below the aerofoil
moves forward thus providing more lift force. Lift force continues to increase until
the angle of attack reaches 13В° marking the angle
35. Informative Essay On Black Tea
Over the years, coffee has been termed to be harmful to health, and more people have
turned to tea. Globally, tea is the second most commonly consumed beverage after
water, with black tea constituting 75 percent. All tea originates from the herb
Camellia sinensis. Despite a lot of criticism surrounding caffeinated drinks, when it
comes to black tea, it might be a healthy choice as some studies have shown.
Black tea is made through withering, rolling and fully oxidizing the leaves. Before
the final heating process, black tea leaves are fermented. It contains caffeine,
polyphenols, amino acids, fluoride, carbohydrates, manganese, proteins, potassium,
xanthine, guanine, and trace minerals. It also contains tannins that give it astringency
and catechins which are powerful antioxidants that destroy cancer causing cells and
prevent cardiovascular diseases.
There are various health benefits that are associated with taking black tea regularly
due to the presence of multiple polyphenols and antioxidants. Black tea contains
explicitly complex flavonoids polyphenols that assist in preventing diseases.
Theaflavin and thearubigin are among the flavonoid that acts as strong antioxidants.
Thearubigin gives black tea its red color. Studies have shown that thearubigins
benefit the mind and body in various ways. To harness the power of black tea,
researchers advise that, milk or sugar should not be added.

Anticipating defilement totally is a difficult request. On the other hand, steps can be
taken to lessen it altogether. There are a couple of principal thoughts that can be
actualized that can control defilement. The three regions that need consideration are
the officer preparing, individual characters, and the motivating forces program. The
initial step is to contract cops of good character, which is troublesome for various
reasons. Officers are human. Giving a man the sort of force a policeman has can
overpower one. Absolute power corrupts absolutely George Orwell. It is
unsurprising what can happen, as history represents so well. If a lot of power is
given to an officer they may think they are unstoppable and may corrupt them. Stricter

Experiments showed that the main route of drug elimination is different in various
species, renal excretion being the most important in man and rhesus monkey and
biliary excretion the most important in rat and dog. The lack of enterohepatic

drug (Menasse et al., 1978). Earlier workers documented enhanced rates of
leucopoiesis and depressed erythropoiesis in bone marrow on aspirin treatment

used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, muscular ache by suppressing pain
and inflammation. NSAIDs have been reported to diminish bone formation,

39. The Battle Of The War On France
The Hundred Years War was fought between the armies of England and France
beginning in 1337 CE, and eventually leading to a French victory in 1453. The war
had a number of consequences, from England losing the vast majority of its territories
in mainland Europe to significantly advancing European military technology. The
origins of the conflict were in a dispute between the English and the French over the
French throne. After Charles IV of Francedied in 1328, leaving no male heir behind,
he passed the throne to his cousin, Philip of Valois, who was crowned Philip VI.
However, many English believed their young king Edward III had the right to the
crown, as his mother Isabella was Charles s sister. The other cause of the war was
the argument between both sides over Guyenne, a territory that the English had held
in France for many years, and which was very valuable and profitable for the
English. Edward III declared war on France because of the strategic value of Guyenne
and to distract the French from Scotland, rather than his personal desire for the throne.
The French claim to their own throne was largely based on their decision that the
crown should not be passed down to a woman. First of all, there had never
previously been any queens of France, because until then every French ruler had left
a male heir behind. In 1316, following the death of Louis X of France and his infant
son John I, there were no more male heirs left, and there was a question over who
would inherit the
40. Fifty Shades Darker Analysis
Dakota Johnson of Fifty Shades Darker is believed to be angry with her stepfather
Antonio Banderas. Johnson supposedly blames former stepfather Antonio for her
mom Melanie Griffith s condition. Recently, Melanie is reported to be in a
depression mode due to his ex husband Banderas.
According to the reports, Dakota was much annoyed with Antonio from the very
beginning, since he dumped her mom Melanie in the year 2014 for dating someone
else. It has also been disclosed that she is furious at Banderas for choosing someone
who is so much younger than Griffith. The 22 years younger woman Nicole Kempel
who is a Dutch investment banker is reported to be the current partner of the 58 year
old Spanish born Desperado actor Antonio Banderas. According to reports, Dakota
thinks of Banderas as a selfish man who is trying to recapture his youth. Johnson
further states that, it is Antonio s fault for which, her mom Melanie is slowly
immersing deeper into depression. She was much more worried about her mother,
since her self esteem is non existent. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The couple had split due to Melanie s substance abuse. Perhaps, it s time Melanie to

s time for Melanie Griffith to move on as well. All these seems to be distracting
Dakota during her filming of Fifty Shades Darker and creating a lot of trouble for
Dakota Johnson while she is filming as Anastasia Steele for the movie Fifty Shades
41. Gossip Girl And Jane Austen s Pride And Prejudice
Jane Austen s Pride and Prejudice tells the story of the agonizing romance between
Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. In eighteenth century class conscious
England, wealthy families married for money and a stable reputation. Many critics
argue that people no longer marry for money but instead for love. However, sugar
mommies, daddies, and babies are more prevalent in the twenty first century than is
publicly shown. Cecily von Ziegesar s Gossip Girl, originally chick literature turned
major drama television series, portrays the romantic struggles of Manhattan s East
Side upper class. Despite being set in the twenty first century, Gossip Girlis arguably
a more dramatic, high quality adaptation of Jane Austen s Pride and Prejudice. Gossip
Girl, an American television drama, had six seasons, all told by the narrator

42. Shakespeare s Othello
Othello s Iago
We find in William Shakespeare s tragic play Othello an example of personified evil.
He is the general s ancient, Iago, and he wreaks havoc and destruction on all those
under his influence.
Louis B. Wright and Virginia A. LaMar in The Engaging Qualities of Othello
comment on how the character of Iago is the wholly expected type of villain for an
Elizabethan audience:
Iago at once captures the attention of the spectator. He is the personification of the
villain that Elizabethans had come to expect from Italian short stories and from
Machiavellian commentary. Villains of this type, as well as those of domestic origin,
had long been popular on the stage. From the days of the mystery and ... Show more

When in an outburst of hatred he soliloquizes that I hate the Moor; / And it is
thought abroad that twixt my sheets / He s done my office, Iago goes on to
concede the unlikelihood of this charge. [. . .] The charge is so absurd, in fact, that
we have to look into Iago himself for the origin of this jealous paranoia. (223)
And looking within Iago for the cause can yield the answer that the ancient is
psychologically sick. In Shakespeare s Four Giants Blanche Coles comments on the
mental illness that appears to afflict the despicable Iago:
When such old time critics as H. N. Hudson, who wrote nearly a hundred years ago,
saw that Iago was not acting from revenge, one is more than surprised to find
modern critics, who have had the advantage of the progress that has been made in the
study of abnormal psychology, accepting Iago for anything but what he is, and what
Shakespeare intended him to be a psychopathic personality. (79)
Evidence of his psychopathic personality is seen early in the play. He manipulates
the wealthy Roderigo into awakening the senator Brabantio ( Rouse him: make
after him, poison his delight ); and then he utters very offensive smutty lines about
a black ram and white ewe, which indicate the way his sick mind operates. He
seems to be motivated by love of money which he has been receiving from Roderigo
for some time ( thou, Iago, who hast had my purse / As if the strings were
43. How Is Thor Related To Norse Mythology
The legend of Thor is a bit different than what is portrayed in Marvel s movie Thor.
Thor was a very important god is from Norse mythology and was a thunder god
while his wife was a fertility goddess. Odin, Thor s father was the chief Viking god
and legend says that Odin enjoyed disguising himself as a human and would seduce
human women. In the Marvel movies, Odin is depicted as a completely different god
and Thoris your average all brawns, quick tempered, hero myth. Norse mythologyand
Marvel s rendition of Thor and the Norse gods are completely different and while
prior to the course, I never would have known otherwise. I have always thought that I
understood mythology prior to this course but it would seem that over the last 6
weeks, my understanding of mythology came from comic books and Marvel movies.

While many myths have been turned into movies and comic books, my opinion was
that Vikings were hot tempered fair skinned brutes. I recently sat down at watched
Marvel s Thor and thought I could get into it. Thor was handsome, hot tempered,
strong, but he had a tender side for his human companion. I did not really know or
understand the true myth of Thor nor did I truly understand Norse mythology which
left me feeling a bit naГЇve. After delving into the past few weeks, I realize that many
ancient civilizations have myths and traditions, Thor is true Norse mythology and
after learning the differences between Thor, the Marvel character, and Thor the god,
Norse mythology, I have a deeper understanding of what this mythical hero/god really
44. Fear Of The Greek Gods In Oedipus The King
If I believed in the Greek gods, I would live a hopeless life full of fear of the gods
rage and their blatant disregard for human life. On the other hand, Hindu gods do
not seem as bad as the Greek gods, therefore I would not be too afraid of them. I
would feel rather hopeless and cautious of the Greek gods because of the powerful
control that they have over human lives. Oedipusfate was always out of hands. He
was at the mercy of the gods and their plan for his life. Oedipus never had control
of his destiny and he stated that he was the child of Fortune! (Sophocles 39). At
this point in the story, Oedipus realizes that he has been like a puppet for the
Greek gods. He learned about his prophecy while living in Corinth and did
everything he could in order to prevent it from happening. However, the gods
played around with his life and made it so that anything Oedipus tried to do to
prevent the prophecy from coming true, would bring the prophecy one step closer to
becoming reality. Moving to Thebes only brought him closer to his birth parents and
actually aided in making the prophecy come true. No matter what he and the others
involved in the prophecy tried to do, Oedipus still ended up killing... Show more

The Hindu gods valued human life to a certain extent and some of the gods
worked for the good of humanity. Rama was Vishnu reincarnate and his whole
purpose of incarnation was ultimately to destroy Ravana, the chief of the asuras,
abolish fear from the hearts of men and gods, and establish peace, gentleness, and
justice in the world (Narayan 67). The Hindu gods were good and evil. The evil did
destroy human life but some good gods tried to restore humanity. Believing in these
gods would cause me to be hopeful and to worship the gods that would save
45. Biblical Themes In Wonder Woman
Biblical Themes Found in the Wonder Woman Film (2017) The Wonder Woman
film, produced in 2017 and directed by Patty Jenkins; tells the story of a heroine who
fights to save mankind from the grips of an evil god, who threatens to destroy
mankind and strip them of any freedom they currently posess. Throughout the film,
there are several underlying messages and themes that can also be found in the King
James Version of the bible. While the films storyline is based on a mythological
Greek story, there are many themes presented that are very similar to biblical themes,
as well as themes that are contrary and vastily different than those found in the
biblical accounts. Although there are many biblically influenced innuendos in the
storyline of Wonder Woman, it is important to note that the original... Show more

In the Wonder Woman film, there is said to be a plurality of gods. Diana is just
one of many, created by Zeus. She is also capable of being destroyed, is not said to
be eternal, and is not able to create life. The God of the bible is presented as the
only God, who created all things in existence (Isaiah 45:5, John 1:3). Unlike
Diana, this God is said to be omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (a state of
being in all places at once). He is also said to be eternal, without an end (Isaiah 46:9
10, Hebrews 4:13, 1 Timothy 1:17, Psalm 90:2). There was also a great temptation
that was faced and resisted before the triumphant victories. However, the victories
were brought about in different ways. Diana saved mankind by destroying the god,
Ares. However, her saving didn t provide eternal life for anyone. According to the
bible, Jesus Christ saved mankind by giving his own life as a ransom, paying the
price for the sins of mankind and giving an opportunity for eternal life towards those
who believe (1 Timothy 2:5 6, Romans 6:23, John

Character Analysis of the Elder Mrs. Winning of Flower Garden
The oppression of tyranny breeds either rebellion or its counterpart, conformity, as
was the case for the character Helen Winning in the story Flower Garden by Shirley
Jackson. The static, intrinsic traits of the Elder Mrs. Winning, which are influential to
the outcome of the story, are developed in detail by Jackson s use of description and
dramatic scenes. The elder Mrs. Winning is characterized as a woman with an
authoritative, domineering personality who is unyielding in her convictions.
The elder Mrs. Winning is a sovereign matriarch in her household. After a morning
breakfast, as the two Mrs. Winnings [linger] over a pot of coffee . . . [sitting]... Show

Winning s superiority. When Howard, the son of the elder Mrs. Winning , enters the
house as he [comes] in from the barn , he simply acknowledges his wife, the younger
Mrs. Winning, with a nod ; in contrast, he more affectionately [kisses] his mother
(496). By including this detail about the distinct ways the two women are treated by
Howard Winning in her description, Jackson illustrates the premiership the elder Mrs.
Winning occupies in her household. Moreover, Jackson describes how Helen
Winning [tried] to anticipate her mother in law s gesture of serving (496) which
indicates further the preponderant and overruling qualities of the elder Mrs. Winning.
The elder Mrs. Winning is a nightmarishly overbearing mother in law. The opening
paragraph is a base for understanding the forcibleness of the elder Mrs. Winning s
character. Jackson recounts that, After living . . . together . . . the two . . . had
grown to look a good deal alike, as two women will who live intimately together,
and get things done around the house in the same manner (490). By providing this
description Jackson discloses the profound extent of the influence that the elder Mrs.
Winning has had on the identity of her daughter in law. The elder Mrs. Winning is
so overpowering that Helen has methodically adopted her lifestyle and has even
gained her looks. The high handedness of the elder Mrs. Winning is first made
evident when Jackson describes that the younger Mrs. Winning has invited her
47. Lululemon Analysis
A brief background of Lululemon would include it is a Vancouver, BC Canadian
based company that has grown on the basis of women s apparel, surrounded by the
activity of Yoga; but it is has become much more! Today, not only women but also
men are consumers of the brand since Lululemon began including products for men.
The P.E.S.T.L.E analysis:
Political as the company is in a forwarding moving clothing technology company, the
implications can rise when materials they require are taxed/levied, which would
make their cost to produce much higher. If a minimum margin structure is applied
pricing out products that comprise of these consequences, it is a risk of loosing out

Like any company, larger purchaser of materials allows for bargaining power and it
benefits the suppliers as well.
The customer is always right! And this is no different in my opinion, without
customers there are no sales and no Lululemon. However, the strategy of engaging
with the customers of their products by being knowledgeable of their products in
store, customer demands are met. New products innovation, keeps Lululemon
customers coming back and purchasing the high quality products. Lululemon even
offers to hem to length of the pants you purchase at no additional cost, and they ll
ship it to you! Customers satisfied.
The substitutes for Lululemon customers are knock off yoga pants that do not last,
are not as comfortable and not durable; or not to do yoga! Even consumers who want
to purchase Lululemon products, but cannot afford it, don t purchase the products.
Other competitors are going in the direction of same market target with similar
athletic strategy and offer their product of similar quality and price but at that price,
why not just buy

conveys a wide collection of significant events social occasions not only locals but
also international. A major advantage is a long term investment, which can gain from
the big event. For example, by the hosting, this event has great opportunities to
provide entertainment, late night business and jobs to the people of Melbourne.
Looking at all the statistics from the time this event had started few years ago it has
just grown and will further grow. In terms of the amount of crowd, it pulls during
that event. As well as, it creates competition in a way to gain valuable exposure and
show talent to a wider audience. This event invites national and international artist

49. Made in India
Made in India
There are about 65 million scooter owners in India. Families are forced to pile onto
scooters, or make several trips to commute. Clearly, this is not an ideal form of
transportation for most people. However, the low income in India has prohibited
individuals from purchasing a vehicle than can cost more than $10,000. Is India s
Tata Motors new four door, four seat, rear engine car for $2,500 a good alternative
plan for transportation in India?
In an article, No, No, No, Don t Follow Us, Thomas L. Friedman, who became the
New York Times foreign affairs columnist in 1995, reporting on international issues
like the Middle East conflict, U.S. domestic politics and foreign policy, and
international economics, claims that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is no question that there is a demand for cheap cars in India and it will be
beneficial for their economy to produce cars to meet that demand. Once the people
s car is successful in India, India s market will grow when they begin exporting to
other fast growing markets where a relatively few percent of people own cars. Soon
India will not only be competing at the top of auto industry, but it will be competing
at the top with the innovative People s Car.
The People s Car will also provide reliable, cost efficient transportation to
consumers. Tata is planning to produce 250,000 People s Cars within the first year
(Giridharadas). Considering that India s middle class is almost 300 million, the
potential for sales is enormous. Profits will be made, leading to benefits for both
India and Tata Motors. Even if the profit margins are small, the numbers of products
being sold will generate a sufficient amount to make it worthwhile for Tata Motors.
To take Friedman s point of view into consideration, we will consider the fact that
cheaper cars will increase traffic and pollution. Isn t this inevitable? In this fast paced
world, everyone wants more. Let s consider asking Americans to give up their cars
for scooters or a bus ride everyday. How many of them would allow this? Very few. I
