Example Of Creative Writing Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic "Example Of Creative Writing Essay" may pose a unique set of
challenges. The task involves not only the exploration of creative writing techniques but also the
ability to effectively showcase those elements within the confines of a structured essay format.
Striking the right balance between creativity and coherence can be a delicate act, demanding a
thorough understanding of both the technicalities of essay writing and the nuances of creative
expression.
One challenge lies in the interpretation of "creative writing" itself. It encompasses a wide
spectrum of styles, from narrative storytelling and descriptive prose to experimental forms of
expression. Deciding which approach to take and how to seamlessly integrate it into a formal
essay structure requires a careful navigation of artistic freedom and academic conventions.
Moreover, the demand for originality places additional pressure on the writer. Crafting a truly
creative piece necessitates thinking outside the conventional boundaries, offering a fresh
perspective or a unique angle. This requires a deep dive into one's imagination, coupled with the
ability to transcend the ordinary and present a narrative that captivates and engages the reader.
Additionally, managing the flow of the essay poses a challenge. Creative writing often involves
a nonlinear structure, and balancing this with the linear progression expected in an essay requires
a thoughtful organization of ideas. Ensuring that the creativity enhances rather than hinders the
overall coherence becomes a delicate task.
Despite these challenges, the essay provides an opportunity for personal expression and the
exploration of one's literary capabilities. It is a chance to demonstrate not only a mastery of
language and composition but also an ability to think creatively within the confines of a specified
topic.
In conclusion, tackling an essay on the topic "Example Of Creative Writing Essay" demands a
skillful blend of creativity and structure. Navigating the complexities of merging artistic
expression with academic conventions can be challenging but ultimately rewarding. For those
seeking assistance or inspiration, similar essays and a wealth of creative writing resources are

Postmodern Art Essay
Postmodern art decided to make revolutionary break with past and questioned
previous theories known as big narratives of art, politics, economics and overall
culture in order to create new theories. The big part of postmodern theory deals with
the belief of preexistence of the art all around us. The artist is the one who can
recognize these elements of art around as and synthesize them into the art work. This
art work becomes object of interpretation which inevitably varies among different
generations, social groups, national group, religious groups, and depends on some
extent of the educational level of the observers and it is also different in the same
individual in different times or environments. The different interpretations of... Show

In another words Borges through his character, Pierre Menard, primarily examined
the terms of the originality, inspiration, and innovation in the art. Borges argues
for strong mutual connections between the written work (art work) and the reader
(observer) and written work (art) and the creator. He created his fictional world in
which he unfolded the story encompassing his philosophy of art, self examined it
from different angles without a fear of overestimating values of his own work
because he is just objectively praising Pierre Menard s artistic product. In the story
Pierre Menard presents two options how he could write his Quixote. The first
option is that he, Pierre Menard, will become Cervantes, in that way that he will
learn to speak 17th century Spanish, he will learn the history and examine the
circumstances that were surrounding Cervantes while he was writing his Quixote.
Of course, this option is denied as impossible (ironically, Borges says it too easy.)
The second option, for Menard, is to write his own, Quixote; The Quixote that will,
in its appearance, resemble the original work, but in its core will be completely
different piece. Menard will become different Cervantes, do it through his own
experience and knowledge. In this way, he will not only distinguish his The Quixote
from the Don Quixote, but Menard still will stay himself. Menard intended to create
The Quixote by his own means (talent, brain power, experience) so that it would be
Civil Rights in Colored People by Henry Louis Gates
Henry Louis Gates admiration and following of great civil rights movement leaders,
including his mother, seems to show that he has an optimistic position on history and
social change in his book Colored People . Throughout the beginning chapters he is
shown growing up noticing the contract between his mother s view and the rest of the
Colemans. She would stand up to white people. He admired her spark and vitality,
whished to grow up in a world where he can see his mother treated with the respect
she deserves. Freedom from the chains of segregation was his goal, most notably
his adventures during his college years. He was dating a white girl and was also
going to extreme lengths to make sure Piedmont becomes unsegregated. Growing up
he sees the flame within his mother diminishing. This occurrence doesn t phase his
determination, the contrary; he decides to resurrect his mother s passion. He
attempts that by helping his father buy her a house, since she always wanted to own
property. He seems to also believe that the arc of history curves, no matter how many
curves it takes it, towards justice. He at least did throughout his adolescence years.
However, in the big scheme of history, it seems that his view is not as one
dimensional as readers would expect. Gate s book reveals to us how history can be
ironic in the form of a shocking change of tone in the concluding chapters. He doesn t
imply that history is approaching its doom because of our actions, it is simply pointing

unconventional training methods such as the use of: Resistance bands Chains
Weight vests Kettle bells Sand bags Wrist rollers In this report I am going to give a
brief outline as to what each of these are as well as what they do to benefit you and
your training. Resistance bands: Resistance bands are used mainly be power lifters
and athletes. The advantage resistance bands have for your training is the fact that
they give heavier load as they get stretch up. These bands range between resistances
of 15 400 kilograms. For example: Smith machine shoulder press. Wrap a band
around each side of the bar and then around the base of the machine. As you press
upwards the band will stretch increasing the resistance on the bar. Resulting in the bar

The Core
Sometimes movies appear to be very scientific but in reality are complete opposite.
Does that necessarily make it bad movie? That is a personal opinion, but to me
personally I can t really get behind a scientific movie that isn t backed up by
science. The Core written by John Rogers and Cooper Layne and directed by Jon
Amiel, is one of the worst movies if you are comparing the movie details to
scientific facts. In the following paragraphs and pages I will compare the movie to
scientific facts, to show how inaccurate the film really is.
So the whole movie is based off that the idea that the earth s core is going to stop
spinning which causes the earth to have terrible disasters, so a team of scientists
have to travel to the center of the earth to bomb it. In the movie it says the earths
magnetic field is caused by the earths spinning outer layer which is true however it
does not spin in one direction, it spins in very complicated circuits. The problem in
the movie is that earths outer layer of the core all of a sudden stops and it never
gives a reason as of why it stops. In order for this layer of the core stop an enormous
force would have to have a great impact ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That right there tells just how silly the idea of that really is. As if that wasn t bad
enough it gets worse. The character in the mvoie who has to travel to set this bomb
off is in a ship called Virgil. On his way, the ship side swipes a diamond creating a
hole in the ship, even though the hole is not very large. The pressure and heat the
ship is in would cause the outside material to flow into the ship with an explosive
Cosmos In Matthew Quick s Boy 21
In Boy 21, author Matthew Quick uses the symbol of the cosmos to symbolize the
death of Boy 21 s (russ) parents. Boy 21 is a story about three high school seniors
whose lives are brought together through basketball. Finley and his girlfriend,
Erin, use basketball to escape their racially segregated, drug dealing neighborhood.
The coach of the local high school asks Finley to become friends with Russ, a
former basketball prodigy. Russ s parents passed away and is now living with his
grandparents in the town of Bellmont. He is so traumatized by the events that he
has developed an alternate identity (Boy21) to help get him through his parents
death and has refuses to pick up a basketball. Finley and Boy 21 help each other in
their own unique ways and become friends. The book hits a big turning point when
Finley s girlfriend is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Finely entered Boy 21 s room, he was very surprised of the atmosphere of
Boy 21 s room. At this moment he just met Boy 21 and was surprised. Boy 21 was
talking really weirdly about the cosmos. My name is Boy 21. I m a prototype. A
test model. I was sent to your planet temporarily to gather scientific information on
what you Earthlings know as emotions. I will only be here for a few more months
(pg 39). This quote at first might seem bizarre, but because of the death of his parents
this may mean something else. When he mentions space, it might mean the heavens.
This may have different meanings but I think that it means that Boy 21 might
commit suicide soon. Since Boy 21 refuses to play basketball anymore or do
anything fun, I think he is depressed. He also says that he is a prototype which might
mean that Boy 21 thinks that he is not good enough. Some might say that this
statement is a little harsh but, when he says he is only going to be on Earth
temporarily, it might mean he is going to attempt

Five Favorite Readings Throughout this semester we have read many stories from
many different authors. All the readings have had very different messages and
outlooks on certain things. To only take about five of them will be hard because
there has been so many that have caught my attention. The more of them I read the
harder the choice. My favorite reading are Tintern Abbey, The World Is Too Much
With Us, She Walks In Beauty, Apostrophe To The Ocean and The Tyger
. My first
favorite reading of the second semester was Tintern Abbey by William Wordsworth
.
To understand the reading you have to understand a little bit about the author, he
loved nature and loved writing. Tintern Abbey is about his second visit to the valley
of the River Wyeand ruins of Tintern Abbey. Incase you don t know what that is it
used to be a medieval church in Wales. He compares his first visit to his second visit
and how it has changed. Not only have it changed physically but, the meaning behind

This poem talks about a man s view on a women. Sounds funny I know but, if you
have read it you would totally understand why it s one of my favorites. In the
society we grew up in is totally different than the one our parents or even our
grandparents grew up in. In our generation we are worried about if our selfie got
more than ten likes. Back then they were only worried about having food on the
table. With this new generation we have a totally different outlook on life, for
example the way men look at women. We as women we know that all guys want is
to do the nasty, well that s what we think anyways. This poem gave me hope that
not all guys are the same. Byron tells us that he looks at the way we walk, the hair
and the face at first then get to know them and wonder more. More guys should take
his advice it might get them farther in life, this poem gave me hope that there are still

Equiano s From The Interesting Narrative Of Olaudah
Equiano
Olaudah Equiano s From the Interesting Narrative of Olaudah Equiano is written
with the intent of ending the slave trade and aiding the abolitionists movement. His
narrative tells his personal story of kidnapping, being sold into slavery and his
experience in the middle passage. According to this account Olaudah Equiano grew
up in Africa with a large family. He was captured and sold into slaveryat age eleven.
As an adult he became an opposing voice to slavery. This autobiography was
published in Britain, with the help of abolitionists. This gives a purpose to Equiano s
writing and the purpose is shown throughout the text as Equiano tries to expose the
evil of the slave trade.
Equiano tells of two different types of slavery in his text. As he describes his
family Equiano explains that My father, besides many slaves, had a numerous
family, of which seven lived to grow up, including myself and a sister, who was the
only daughter. (Pg. 2) This is the first mention of slavery in the text bringing in the
idea that slavery did exist in Africa even before Europeans set foot on the continent.
This concept is then revisited when Equiano is kidnapped and brought to another
African country to become a domestic slave to a Chieftain. This slavery that he is
first sold into seems to be civil and humanizing for the slaves, similar to an
indentured servant, it is said that This man had two wives and some children, and
they all used me extremely well, and did all they could to
Benefits Of Parking On College Students
The life of a college student is quite stressful. Between classes, social issues, clubs,
and jobs, college life already guarantees stress. This stress is only heightened by
parking after the commute many students make. Imagine that a student has left
their home and are on their way to a class in half an hour. There is a twenty minute
drive to the school, so ten minutes are left to park and walk to class. Upon arriving,
however, all the lots are full. The same student has now completed a day of college
and is trying to get their car but can t find it and knows that it will take them an
extra ten minutes to get their car in the first place. This issue of parking is one that
many consider universally annoying. Students, faculty, staff all have issues with
the parking situation. Fortunately, there are many possible solutions. The campus
of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology (RHIT) holds many locations that could
be used as additional parking. Cost versus reward feedback for such an action
would be greatly beneficial to the institute. Parking on this campus has been an
issue for many years as Professor Roads can attest. With all of this in mind, it is
time for RHIT to make a change to this situation. The Rose Hulman Institute of
Technology needs to upgrade their parking situation as soon as possible. Parking at
Rose Hulman has always been an issue, but due to the rising number of students per
class, it has gotten worse over the past few years. We interviewed Professor Roads, a
Hip Hop and Adam Yauch Park Essay
Hip Hop has been a thread of music that is deeply rooted in the struggle within the
black communities of America. It acted as a window for people outside of the black
community to acknowledge and experience, to an extent, what endeavors those
communities encounter. Although Hip Hop s central purpose is to denote the
subjugation that was implemented on the black community, Hip Hop began as a
mere offshoot of 1970 s jazz, funk, and soul. Beastie Boys, now seen as a forefront in
the gentrification of Hip Hop, were at first an anomaly. Being an all white group in a
predominantly African American industry was not a walk in the park at first, but
once they showed their ability to rap; no one seemed to doubt that they truly

Because of this, I researched heavily the park s atmosphere, so that I would be able
to find it with ease. The only thing I dreaded was the commute. Brooklyn Heights
to and from Queens is not within each other s proximity so I knew that the trip
from there and back would occupy a large part of my journey. From what my
research told me, the easiest option was to take the F train all the way to Jay
Metro, where I would have a 10 minute walk to the park. The other options included
transfers to trains that I was not familiar with, nevertheless the F train was the
most convenient because the 169th station is a couple blocks from St. Johns.
When I finally had the time to go through with this commute, I walked to 169th and
essentially took the F train until my stop. Although the direction list on Google
maps was specific, I became flustered when I arrived at the Jay Street. Luckily
however there was a police man who pointed me in the direction of State Street
where Adam Yauch Park is located. When I came up to my destination, I was
actually disappointed. The park was smaller than I imagined and did not really
offer much; however, one thing that I did notice the variety of trees. According to
NYC Parks: When you visit his namesake park, be sure to take in the wide variety
of trees, including silver lindens, London planes, pin oaks, and Norway maples

Aim:
The aim of this experiment is to determine which antacid is the most effective at
neutralising hydrochloric acid.
Hypothesis:
It is predicted that the tablet advertising double strength will be the most effective at
neutralising the hydrochloric acid either Mylanta or Gaviscon .
Variables:
Independent:
The brands and types of antacid tablets as well as their weights will be the only
independent variables in this prac.
Dependent:
The amount of hydrochloric acid poured into the antacid solution is the chemical to
be measured in the experiment.
Controlled:
The substance that will be kept the same is the distilled water for the solution. Also,
the same person must perform the same job for each antacid test. Ait and temperature

The Gaviscon antacid was the most effective at neutralising the hydrochloric acid as

2.Using your data, determine which antacid is more effective at neutralising acid per
gram.
The most effective antacid per gram was also Gaviscon, with 107.26 mL of HCl
neutralised per gram of the antacid.
Discussion/Errors:
Firstly, although it was written in the controlled variables earlier, my group did not
follow the idea of one person performing the same job each test. This may have
altered the results, as each member of the group would measure, pour, calculate (etc.)
substances differently to each other. However, this could simply be avoided for next
time by ensuring that each student has only one or two specific jobs, and they do not
change to others during the

Banning Books In Schools
In the past books were burned or the writer of the story were banished. These acts
were done in 8 A.D, near the end of the 15th century they stopped burning books
and just banned the books from public release. As time passed challenging book
became more common. In 1982 there were so many books that were challenged to
be banned that they dedicated a week to the freedom of reading books, and to point
out the fact that books are being banned. The fact that books are being banned
because people don t like what is present in the book. Some books tell history witch
show how the world changed for the better, the language used in these books
describe on how people were treated and should be something that shouldn t be
forgotten but something we should learn from. This is what happens when books
are banned from some place, the kids or students don t really learn much of the past

Essay on Christian Elements in Beowulf
Beowulf is one of the great heroic poems in English literature. The epic follows a
courageous warrior named Beowulf throughout his young, adult life and into his old
age. As a young man, Beowulf becomes a legendary hero when he saves the land of
the Danes from the hellish creatures, Grendel and his mother. Later, after fifty years
pass, Beowulfis an old man and a great king of the Geats. A monstrous dragon soon
invades his peaceful kingdom and he defends his people courageously, dying in the
process. His body is burned and his ashes are placed in a cave by the sea. By placing
his ashes in the seaside cave, people passing by will always remember the legendary
hero and king, Beowulf. In this epic the presentation of the story telling... Show more

The frequent allusions to the power of fate, the motive of blood revenge, and the
praise of worldly glory bear testimony to the ancient background of pagan conceptions
and ideals. However, the general tone of the epic and its ethical viewpoint are mostly
Christian . There is no longer a genuine pagan atmosphere. The sentiment has been
softened and purified. The virtues of moderation, unselfishness, consideration for
others are practiced and appreciated. The author has fairly exhaulted the fights with
Grendel, his mother, and the dragon into a conflict between powers of good and
evil. The figure of Grendel, while originally an ordinary troll is conceived as an
impersonation of evil and darkness, even an incarnation of the Christian devil.
Grendel is a member of the race of Cain, he is a creature dwelling in the outer
darkness, a giant and cannibal. When he crawls off to die, he is said to join the route
of devils in hell. The story of a race of demonic monsters and giants descended from
Cain. It came form a tradition established by the apocryphal Book of Enoch and
early Jewish and Christian interpretations of Genesis 6:4. Many of Grendel s actions
are unquestionable epithets of Satan such as enemy of mankind, God s adversary, the
devil in hell, and the hell slave. His actions are represented in

1. Goal The main idea behind this lab was to relocate the DHCP server and master
DNS server to a fresh install of Windows Server 2012. This would allow control
over most of the network with Windows Server 2012 while maintaining a slave
DNS server on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 box. A basic install of Active

determine any outlying security risks associated with the Windows Server2012. This
lab took the knowledge that I gained from in class lectures and previous
experiences, and allowed me to implement Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
flawlessly on Windows Server 2012. It helped me to understand how Active

Third Grade Research Paper
Let me start my story at one embarrassing time in third grade, this was one of the
most embarrassing times that happened in my life. It all started when they were
having a class for randomly picked students, the third grade teachers were drawing
papers with third grade students names, so here comes the fourth paper out of the
jar and the teachers read the name and they say Riley Colberg, so i was shocked I
got picked, I rarely get picked for anything at that point in time. Then i walk up to
the teachers to present all the kids that got in that class, after all that was done
everyone practice cursive for one hour, when the kids and me went to the other
class at that time, Then we went home I went to bed and all the normal. Here comes
the next day I wake up get ready for schoolall excited for my new class when I was
getting ready and changing I decided that it s a good idea to not wear underwear to
school, so I don t, then I get to school and I get to class ready for my new class, then
I go eat lunch, go outside, go to music and then I go to my new class. Here s where
the funny part comes in, we do... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

we run to the skate park and me and my dad do not know how to ride down a ramp
so we try, and try, and try until we just give up and then an idea sparked in my

In The Outliers Malcolm Gladwell
In the Outliers: The Story of Success written by Malcolm Gladwell, one main idea
introduced is that the success of an individual generates from the 10,000 hour rule .
Gladwell comments, researchers have settled on what they believe is the magic
number for true expertise: ten thousand hours. (40) The idea behind it is simple. Any
person who wants to succeed must devote ten thousand hours of practice to what they
want to achieve. Gladwell also suggests that instead of viewing a person by their
success, people should focus on where the success thrived from.
Gladwell suggests that the reason The Beatles were so successful was due to 1,200
live performances in Hamburg, Germany from 1960 1964. A few gigs lasted up to
eight hours long, and
Difference Between Homeland Security And Homeland
Security
Homeland security and homeland defense are different concepts in relation to
national security but do rely on each other both for internal and external security of
the United States. Their missions vary in scope but require the support of each asset
to be effective in our national security. There is a very thin line that separates the
differences between homeland security and homeland defense and before the 9/11
attacks most Americans did not think much about either. September 11, 2001 forever
changed the way that the United States deals with our national security and brought
forward to the national consciousness the need for definitive policies to protect our
homeland. Homeland security is defined as the prevention, preemption, and
deterrence of, and defense against, aggression targeted at U.S. territory, sovereignty,
domestic population and infrastructure as well as the management of the
consequences of such aggression and other domestic emergencies (Homeland
Security, 2017). Homeland security is broken down into five primary responsibilities.
They are: Protecting the American people from terrorist threats. Securing our borders.
Immigration enforcement. Emergency preparedness. Unification and evolution of
homeland security The American people did not think much about terrorist threats
from abroad before September 11, 2001. Terrorist attacks were always thought of as
being overseas and far off distant lands and not a worry for the average American. Of

Recycling Is The Method Of Regaining Recycling Essay
Recycling is the method of regaining, reprocessing, and reusing materials that would
otherwise be thrown away (Opposing Viewpoints in Context 2014). The most
commonly recycled materials include paper, glass, plastic, and metals. Materials
may be used to make more of its original product or to make something entirely new.
For example, recycled aluminum cans are often made into new cans, while recycled
class may be made into paving material. Recyclingdoes not always save money
immediately, it provides long lasting benefits because it conserves natural
resources while saving energy and reducing pollution. Recycling isn t a new
concept in the modern era, humans have always been finding new uses for items.
However, large scale recycling is a fairly recent trend that gained widespread
support in the 1970s when people became more aware of their environmental
impact. In this essay, we will be reviewing arguments made by three writers from
different backgrounds and their views of recycling. We will analyze what does and
doesn t work in their arguments, and if they properly are using ethos, pathos, and
logic. Afterwards, I will give my own rebuttal from a perspective of a college student.
Recycling is a complicated progression that has been developing throughout the
century, and while it falters at times, it is moving towards a better and less wasteful
future.
The first argument I will be assessing is by Stiv Wilson, who is a journalist and
policy director for the 5 Gyres
Columbia University College Of Physicians And Surgeons

Columbia University had been my undergraduate dream school but despite a 4.00
high school GPA and a competitive SAT score, I thought it to be beyond my reach
and did not apply. I vowed to never doubt myself again and when it came time to
construct a list of medical schools to apply to, Columbia University was at the top.
If I said I expected an interview, I d be lying. There were plenty of me s around the
country who had probably applied to Columbia. Same MCAT score, same GPA,
extracurricular activities that were just as impressive. So why would I, of all
people, get an interview? When I got the interview invite, I felt a sense of
accomplishment. Here I was with an opportunity to go pursue the school of my

Persuasive Speech On Deforestation
Over half of the world s forests have been destroyed in the last 10,000 years. An
extensive fire that destroys a great deal of land or property could be thought to
help benefit the economic or environmental aspects of daily life, but the society is
clueless on the harm it is causing. Nearly half of the Earth s original forest cover
has already been lost and each year an additional 32 million acres are destroyed.
Our world is facing the greatest extinction crisis since the fall of the dinosaurs, 65
million years ago. The future of many of Earth s plants and animals will be
determined within the next few decades. Hopefully, it comes as no great surprise to
you that deforestationis a major problem in many areas of the world, both in terms of

Deforestation occurs primarily as a result of agriculture, fuel use and production,
firewood, charcoal, timber harvesting, pasture clearing for livestock animals, and
expanding human settlements. When deforestation happens to a country that you
live in it can have a huge impact, These deforested areas almost always end up as
wastelands via the processes of soil erosion and desertification, if they aren t

ago remain as severely degraded wastelands or deserts today. Currently, the world s
annual rate of deforestation is estimated to be about 13.7 million hectares a year,
which is roughly equal to the total land of Greece. Half of the areas deforested gets

Genius and Madness in Christopher Smart’s My Cat
Jeoffry...
Genius and Madness in Christopher Smart s My Cat Jeoffry
A series of verses commencing with the word for , Christopher Smart s My Cat
Jeoffry is surprisingly modernistic and intriguing. Written while Smart was confined
in a mental asylum for incessant praying, the aphoristic poem praises the cat Jeoffry,
a faithful servant to God. Unrestricted by rigid poetic structures, My Cat Jeoffry is
nevertheless organized and coherent, ablaze with a current of religious fervour. It is
impossible to know if the poem was inspired by genius or by madness, but it is
infused with sanity and truth. While the poem is about a cat s devotion to God
through its daily actions, Smart s My Cat Jeoffry also serves as a lesson to humankind.

Is Smart perhaps inserting his characteristic wit into My Cat Jeoffry and alluding to
John Wesley s (1703 1791) dictum cleanliness is next to godliness ?
Superior to other animals due to the dexterity of his movements (40, 71), Jeoffry is
able to serve God asleep and awake, as emphasized in Smart s parallel lines For
there is nothing sweeter than his peace when at rest./For there is nothing brisker
than his life when in motion (44 45). Jeoffry s abilities to influence those around
him is also brought into light in the parallel lines For he is hated by the hypocrite
and miser./For the former is afraid of detection./For the latter refuses the charge (57
59).
Jeoffry, even when his day s work is done (23), continues to work in God s grace
by keeping the Devil at bay with his electrical skin glaring eyes (25). This use of
diction seems absurd, and one wonders if Smart is not fooling his audience all
along. Echoing William Blake s The Tiger and his Four Fold Vision by the vivid
descriptions of his Angel Tiger (29), Smart hints that there exist multiple layers in
My Cat Jeoffry . Without a doubt, Jeoffry s life can be paralleled to that of
humankind. However, what kind of person does Smart speak of? Is Smart truly
praising those who are devoted to God, or is he criticizing those who are over
zealous in their devotions?
Given the knowledge of Smart s background,
Abortion Is The Argument Of Abortion
Constitutional Right to Abortion in the United States
The constitution, being written by men, only originally concerned the freedom of
men. Since women were brought into the mix for increasing equality, they are legally
allowed the same rights as any other citizen. One issue concerning the rights of
women is the argument of abortion laws. It is debated about whether it is an ethical
and morally just procedure and whether it violates the fetus s rights or a woman s
freedom of her own body. Most people either agree that women should be allowed
to decide on an abortion over pregnancy and some oppose abortions completely.
Before 1973, abortion was widely illegal. Since then, several cases have challenged
women s rights to abortions, and changed the laws for all states. Today, abortion is
legal in all states, because of the Supreme Court Case known as Roe v. Wade(1973).
This proved that abortions are a constitutional right guaranteed in the Constitution.
Although no state now has the power to go against this, they can make it harder to
get the procedure. The option of abortion gives a women security if she cannot
support a baby. It is also safer than pregnancy and is much cheaper as well. Babies
are incredibly large responsibilities and they should not be seen has inevitable
mistakes by women who felt obligated to keep them. A child brought into this world
should be nurtured and does not deserve to be abandoned at birth. Abortion is a way
to avoid suffering and negative
Summary Of Cherokee Population Losses During The Trail
Of...
In the article, Cherokee Population Losses during the Trail of Tears: A New
Perspective and a New Estimate, by Russell Thornton, the author uses specific
mathematical techniques and historic data to reveal that the Cherokee Tribe suffered
more losses on the Trail of Tears than historians have estimated in the past. In the
1830s, the United Statesgovernment issued a series of laws that forced Indians who
resided in the southeastern part of the country to migrate westward towards new
Indian territory. A few years prior, states passed laws that annexed Native Americans
land and took away several of their fundamental rights. They were treated like
complete savages and were looked down upon by nearly every American since
colonization of the land... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Historians have been able to estimate that around 16,000 tribe members were
removed from their homes to start the migration (Thornton 293). Therefore, with
previous data being that 4,000 Cherokee members were killed, it can be concluded
that around 1/4 of the migrators died. Despite these numbers being complete
estimates due to the lack of clear facts and resources that are available, Thornton
believes that demographic analysis could strengthen the estimates and make them
more accurate. Thornton found that in 1835, the Cherokee population was 16,542.
After this year, there was no access to population records until 1850 (Thornton
294). This lack of data could cause inaccuracies, but a prediction is still possible.
Thornton created a data table of the population from 1808 to 1835, and then from
1850 to 1880. The year that was needed in order to determine the tribe loss was
1840, due to the fact that the removal began in 1838 and didn t fully end until 1840.
Thornton was then able to make a graph from the population data he had obtained.
This graph was thus able to make an estimate that the population in 1840 was around
13,032. With this number, Thornton could subtract the estimated population in 1838
(23,170) from the estimated population in 1840. This would give him the number
10,138, which represented the difference between the periods, or his number for
Playing the Enemy
The South Africa the world knows today was not always one of general unity and
democracy but of division and supremacy throughout the races. John Carlin s, Playing
the Enemy, guides you through South Africa s journey during the nineteen eighties
and early nineties to non racial democracy. Through firsthand experiences of many
South Africans including the dismantler of apartheid and former president, Nelson
Mandela, Carlin helps the reader understand what Mandela and many others had to
endure to make equality a reality for black South Africans. Carlin s focus on the
destruction of apartheid is coupled with the 1995 Rugby World Cup held in South
Africa, more specifically South Africa s Springboks and how Mandela used them to

Mandela was not bitter and was able to put Coetsee at ease right away which

through Mandela working his way up the political ladder starting with Coetsee, than
to Niel Barnard, head of state intelligence, than to President PW Botha, FW de
Klerke, the successor of Botha, and lastly, General Constand Viljoen, the man who
wanted to go to war against Mandela s government when Mandela did come to
power. Carlin gives full justice to Mandela and what he had to do to go from prisoner
to president in a matter of 4 years. During apartheid most of the South African
population either thought themselves to be with whites or with the coloured side.
The white side was made mostly of the Afrikaans, the white Dutch descendants.
Although a smaller percentage of the population, these white people were generally
the wealthy and based their acceptance of apartheid on fear, Carlin states. Fear of
unemployment, loss of land and sharing the wealth were all factors that contributed
to this outlook. The white population generally did not hate Mandela himself but
just feared his motives. They questioned if he wanted to become president for
redemption and make their fears reality or if Mandela simply wanted equality. The
black side was made up of the native peoples of South Africa including Mandela s
native tribe, Tembu Xhosa which is a common native language. The blacks were
obviously against the oppression they

The Idea that would start not only HP but all of Silicon Valleywas the subject of Bill
Hewlett s thesis subject at Stanford. Bill envisioned an audio oscillator that would
be cheaper to make, easier to operate, more accurate, and more portable than what
was available at the time. The key to this new oscillator was a small light bulb. By
glowing brighter or dimmer the light bulb could stabilize the signal strength,
cancelling unwanted variations. This gave Bill s design a great advantage over
other companies. After more experimentation and testing Bill and Dave were able
to take the thesis project and make HP s first product, the 200A Oscillator. The
name was chosen to make it appear that they had designed other similar devices

some design changes which lead to the 200B oscillator. Disney needed a new kind of

Americans Are Now Living In a Society That Rivals Orwell

Today it is possible for the government to monitor anything and everything we do
or say, and even to track the places we go. In George Orwell s 1984, Winston Smith
lives in the dystopian society called Oceana. This book was written by George
Orwell, and thus gave way to the term an Orwellian society (a society that can be
compared to the societies of both 1984 and Animal Farm ). This society is usually
the result of an attempt to become a utopia which ultimately has gone terribly wrong.
With the advancement of modern technology, America is being turned into an

However, nitrate reductase can further reduce nitrite to ammonia or molecular

then the nitrates in the medium have been reduced further. If the bacterium does not

The Best Things About Earning A Passive Income
One of the best things about earning a passive income is that there is no skill or
knowledge glass ceiling when it comes to doing so. It does not matter if you are a
PHD student, a doctor with 20 years of experience, or a person who did not finish
high school, anybody can earn a passive income. A good demonstration of this is
EBook writing; it may sound daunting at first, but anyone can do it. Experts (job
recruiters, psychologists, marriage counselors, dietitians, personal trainers,
hypnotists, etc.) Instructors (yoga, piano, etc.) Coaches (sports coach, vocal
coach, life coach, business coach, etc.) Teachers (language, cooking, etc.) These
are all very diverse professions, each requiring a different skill set, yet anyone in
these professions could write a bestselling EBook just based off their experiences.
So, as you can see, it does not matter who you are, as long as you are willing to
work at it, you can build a very impressive passive income. You do not have to be a
professional either. All the above professions went through some form of
professional training, but even if you did not, you can still write a great EBook.
Some people may get intimidated because their writing is not good, or they do not
think anyone will read it; but look, the EBook you write does not have to be the
next War and Peace; they simply have to help your potential readership. The key is
to focus on a problem or question that your potential readers could have, and to solve
that problem
Why Jafar Is The Best Villain
Jafar is the best villain and antagonist that I think there is. He quiet, sneaky, and
smart. He is able to solve problems and he can make people trust him without even
knowing him. In the story he tries to steal a magic oil lamp to take over the palace.
Jafar is smart in many ways. He can solve problems very quick and can make sure
something is done right. He is also very sneaky. He is able to plot his whole plan to
take over the palace without the king knowing. He can trick all the men working at
the palace and can also be a very high ranking. Also, since he is so quiet he is able
to keep his secret without raising any suspicions about his intentions and his ability
in the dark arts. When it came to getting the control over the palace Jafar was

These can also show that without out a villain there really wouldn t be a story. It
will also go to show how they can change a story in an instant. Also how they are
how the story can get its momentum and its trill. That just goes to show how much
a villain can affect a story and its importance. Some characteristics of of a villain
that I think Jafar resembles is being able to create havoc anywhere they go under
any circumstances. Also being able to make people believe them and trust
him. That is also why he makes a good villain when he is able to execute is plans
with extreme efficiency. He makes these plans under extreme pressure also. Jafar
reminds me of a very different kind of villain, considering his traits as a villain.
The man he reminds me of being the villain and antagonist of a wrinkle in time
known as the man with the red eyes. They are both very smart and use their
persuasiveness to change people s points of view. Having this kind of power can give
them both the ability to make things go in the way they want them
Media Influence
Media is a huge part of people s lives in today s society. Through different forms of
media people can now obtain vast amounts of information at the slightest touch of a
finger. While it is convenient and comforting to have access to so much data, the
question arises. How much of this information we receive shapes our lives? Mass
mediaas an agent of socialization can prime and/or skew people s belief system
through mere exposure without the slightest clue of it affects. Mass media as an
agent of socialization can structure people s perception on society as a whole by
simply using influence, control, and trust.

Media influence is the force by which ideas are injected into people s lives shaping
the very culture of society. This influence is masqueraded through hidden media

channel Orange is an album that should be played from beginning to end to fully

designed to display a message but Frank s way of showing it is rather remarkable.
If we look back to where Frank began writing, we see themes such as unrequited
love, decadence, class, and drugs. These themes are greatly used throughout this
album. Being that Frank Ocean writes all of his music, he is credible to all that

man is the narrator of quot;Sonny s Blues quot; and his thoughts we are shown are
those directed towards his brother. Over the course of the story, there are three major
stages or phases that the narrator goes through, in which his thoughts about his

Therefore, whenever he did something for Sonny it was because his mother had
wanted him to, not because he cared about Sonny. As soon as taking care of Sonny
stopped working with his schedule, he sent him to his mother in law s house.
During the story, however, a long separation brought the narrator into his second
stage of thinking, and changed his views of Sonny. The narrator recognized that
Sonny wasn t just a kid any more. Sonny had been in the Navy and had been living
on his own for some time. Yet he didn t see him as a maneither. quot;He was a man
by then, of course, but I wasn t willing to see it. quot;(52) He saw Sonny as a
teenager of sorts. Sonny dressed strangely, became family with strange friends, and
listened to still stranger music. quot; In the narrator s eyes, Sonny foolishly thought
he knew everything. Even though the narrator s views on Sonny s manhood changed,
during the second stage his feelings about Sonny s sense of reality didn t. When he

Sonny after Sonny s stay in the Navy, the narrator still viewed Sonny as if he were

seemed to be merely an excuse for the life he led. It sounded just that weird and
disordered. quot;(52) He thought that Sonny had been driven even farther from
reality than before. He thought that Sonny s view of reality was so distorted that he

Carry On In Tim O Brien s The Things They Carrie
Carry On Carry On Unacquainted love is stronger than drugs to keep us alive. Tim
O Brien s The Things They Carried is a work of fiction. However, since the Author
himself drafted, served in Vietnam the descriptive language of the daily humps
through an untamed landscape allows the reader to carry their pack along with
Lieutenant Cross s platoon. Although the letters that Martha sent to Lieutenant Cross
was only 10 ounces the weight of their effect was immeasurable. How could a young
man expected to dredge through unfamiliar terrain without holding out for a future
hope of the life that he left behind. How did this love take effect on First Lieutenant
Jimmy Cross stream of consciousness in hopes, daydreams, and future survival in the
Vietnam war? Love is the strongest four letter word know to man. It can be sharper
than a sword and more effective than a grenade. On the other hand, love can a

Mauling To The Death Of Pitbulls
A certified dog trainer explained the deadly mauling of two Pit Bulls of a 22 year
old Virginia woman to drastic lifestyle changes in the life of the canine. Valerie Paul,
who has testified in several court cases involving animal, said that the outside
influence could cause the dogs turning on their owner.
However, the outside influence is not necessarily another animal or anything else but
something that enticed the pet dogs to become overexcited and react the way they
did. Sergeant Mike Blackwood, from the Goochland County Sheriff s office, hinted
that it was likely the little bit of neglect that Tonka and Pac Man felt which led to the
grisly mauling to the death of Bethany Stephens.

She said that if a dog is warned about interactions that cannot be avoided, the best
way is to teach the pet these things with the help of a professional behavior
consultant. Bradley said that even if pit dogs have a bad reputation when it comes
to violence, a lot of the vicious attacks are usually shocking for the owners and those
familiar with the dogs, Hollywood Life reported.
Bradley pointed out that even if the attack on Bethany further damaged the image
of Pit Bulls, there is no scientific evidence to support it. The claim is even
meaningless because there is no such breed. She explained the perception is only
based on the idea of the dog appearance reported. She said that every dog must be
seen as an individual creature and future behavior of the dog can only be predicted
by past behavior in the same situation.
Montreal Pit Bull ban
However, many cities still do not look favorably on Pit Bulls. For instance, Montreal
in Canada used to ban Pit Bulls, but the Projet Montreal administration kept with its
administration promise to repeal the controversial by law than banned the dog,
Huffington Post reported.
The ban will be suspended and several specific sections of the city animal control
bylaw that pertain to Pit Bulls such as special permits and compulsory muzzling,
Councilor Craig Sauve, the executive committee member in charge of animal
services, said.
Kardashians
What kinds of crazes, fads, diets, pop culture phenomena, books, or movies can you
think of that have promoted a version of a quest for immortality that would attempt to
stem the advance of old age, disease, and, ultimately, death?
Social Media and Reality Television have put a huge emphasizes on celebrities such
as the Kardashians. The Kardashians are known for spending huge amounts of
money on plastic surgery and personal upkeep. Due to the fact that the Kardashians
are a household name around the world many people feel pressured to keep up with
them and remain young looking. For example Kris Jenner is 60 years old and does not
have a single wrinkle on her face. Always been photographed has led her to want to
remain young forever. Kris Jenner does not just get plastic surgery to remain young
she is also shown many times on the show partying like she is still 21. This shows
her fear of growing old.

In a very literal sense our bodies are not meant to live that long. After about 110
years everyone s body would begin to deteriorate and that is just not a good way to
live. For example in the show Dexter this women was so old and in so much pain
she did not want to be alive anymore, so she asked him to kill her. I feel if there was
no way anyone could die it would cause more pain than pleasure. Another problem
is overpopulation. The world would quickly reach its capacity and then what do
we do? The only option would be to send people to live at sea or in space. The last
problem that I see is a money shortage. As a business major the first thing that I
thought about was jobs and social security. The unemployment rate would sky
rocket also when people retired there would be no money for them because of the
fact that the world is so overpopulated. This would eventually lead to a huge increase
in poverty and
What Does The Poem Richard Cory Mean
Deceiving looks Being wealthy doesn t mean everything.Edwin Arlington Robinson
is the author of the dramatic poem Richard Cory , which is about a man who had it
all but that wasn t the case. Most people in this world pretend to be someone that they
re not to impress and look superior to others.Money doesn t buy happiness and
appearances can be deceiving.Being wealthy doesn t make an individual happy.
According to Robinson, the townspeople failed to appreciate the value of their
support of one another. He claims in fine we thought that he was everything/to make
us wish that we were in his place (3.11.534).Here we see that instead the townspeople

The first line of the poem has assonance. In the phrase down town, (1.1.533) the
vowel sound ow is repeated. The second line of the poem has an example of
alliteration when the words people and pavement are used. The p sound is
repeated. In line eight the phrase he glittered when he walked is an example of a
hyperbole.Indeed, Robinson used imagery in Richard Cory . For example, Robinson
says from sole to crown (1.3.533) and richer than a king (3.9.534). He uses these
words to show how Richrd Cory is seen by the townspeople. The townspeople see
him as a well mannered gentleman that is well dressed, wearing a lot of jewelry
and have it all. However, when Robinson says he glittered when he walked is to give
a specific image for the reader. Another poetic device that Robinson used is
connotations. For example, Robinson says Whenever Richard Cory went down town.
This means that Richard Cory is coming down, lowering himself, to the level of the
townspeople when he comes into town. Robinson shows the differences between the
townspeople and Richard Cory financial status. However,he also shows that it is the
townspeople, and not Richard Cory, that makes wealth the difference between
Extreme Weather And Heat Waves
The first article or website that I explored was titled Extreme weather. It begins by
stating that as the world has warmed, it has triggered several other things in the earth
s climate to be altered. It then goes further into depth specifically naming the factors
that have been changing due to the altering of the climate. These factors include: heat
waves, droughts, heavy downpours, floods, and lastly, hurricanes (Extreme Weather,
2014).
Heat Waves In this section, a heat wave is referred to as abnormally hot weather
lasting days to weeks . It further goes on to say that the recent number of heat waves
have been steadily increasing with numbers almost triple the long term average
(Extreme Weather, 2014). In this section it is claimed that the droughts in Texas in
the year 2011, and in the Midwest in the year of 2012, that records were set for the
highest monthly average temperatures to date (Extreme Weather, 2014).
A picture of a map is provided of the coast to coast 100 degree days in 2011, in
conclusion, it is observable that heat waves are on a steady increase.
Droughts A drought is described as an event that happens due to a rise in temperatures
that leads to an increased rate of evaporation, this even includes the loss of moisture
through plant leaves (Extreme Weather, 2014). This section on droughts states that as
the soil dries out due to the increase in heat, that it results in hotter soil and adjacent
air rather than evaporating its moisture and that this
Cosmetology Research Papers

The hands on portion consists of performing a facial, manicure, thermal curling, State
Board haircut, permanent wave, color retouch, foil highlighting, relaxer retouch, and
chemical virgin relaxer. Infection control procedures must be performed as well as
the correct tasks. Instructors will read the directions to the students and give them a
certain amount of time for the setup, procedure and clean up. The instructors are
required to then tell you when there are 10 and five minutes remaining. If taking the
facial, manicure and test portion first, students will have a 15 minute set up to get
their facial and manicure supplies ready. During the facial, students have five minutes
to cleanse the face and then are further directed to the next steps by the instructor. The
manicure is 20 minutes long and has to result in a smooth finished polish with
nothing on the skin. If students start the thermal curling portion first, they will be
asked to perform a smooth, complete curl when the instructor asks them to do so. The
State Board haircut needs to be blended with only one inch taken off within the time
span of 30 minutes. For the chemical wave portion of the exam, the students must
follow the procedure directions and will have 20 minutes to do so. When performing
any chemical procedure, students must drape the client s towel cape towel to protect
the skin from harmful chemicals. The mannequin head will then be

Legal Funding Disadvantages
Nowadays, hiring a lawyer in UK and Wales can be quite expensive. A trainee
solicitor in Great Britain hourly rate can start from a hundred and eleven pounds
per hour and ranges from this to a first grade solicitor in London who would charge
four hundred and nine pounds per hour . It is obvious that not everyone can afford
the price of justice. Legal funding is vital as this can give a chance to people that are
of lesser means, to review their case. There are various types of legal funding that I
will examine in my essay for example, legal aid, private funding, conditional fee
agreements, damages based agreements and pro bono. However, there are some
ethical complications related to how these types of funding is used. Are they
really used wisely and fairly based on their scope? I am going to consider the
advantages and disadvantages of the various types, in order to come to a conclusion.
On the other hand, there are many people claiming that technological innovations
would be a very good way to compensate for lack of funding. Technological
innovations such as, robot lawyer Lisa , Lexis Nexis chatbot and kiosks. Forms of
legal funding
Legal aid: After the Second World War the Labour Government tried to a build a
welfare state in order to reduce the inequalities between rich and poor class . One of
their measures was the state funded legal aid scheme .That would give the

What Is The Theme Of Devo And Simran By Eunice De
Souza
Dev and Simran is about a modern couple, Dev and Simran living in the suburbs of
Mumbai dealing with the problems of married life and death of their infant
daughter. Dev dies and then Simran is left alone to pick up the bits and pieces of
life with the help of their group of close knit friends, who in different ways
personally mourn for Dev and try their best to support and help Simran pass through
this phase. The author Eunice de Souza gives us a clear picture
The story has a remarkable way to portray a different image of friendship, love and
commitment. It shows how uniquely different people juggle with the struggles of
daily life silently like a ghost. As it is said, the true essence of friendship is tested

Selena was born in Lake Jackson Texas to Abraham Quintanilla Jr. and Marcella
Ofelia Samora on 4 16 1971, and was the youngest child of 3 including her. When she
was 6 years old her father realized her musical abilities and later on told People
Magazine Her Timing and Pitch were perfect I knew it from day one. In 1980 in
Lake Jackson, her dad opened his first Tex Mex Restaurant, where Selena and her
siblings would perform at only the age of 9.
School And Career
As her popularity as a singer grew, the demands of Selena s performance and travel
schedule began to interfere with her education. Her father took her out of school
when she was in the eighth grade. Her teacher Marilyn Greer disapproved of
Selena s musical career, and she threatened to report Selena s Dad to the Texas
Board of Education, believing the conditions that Selena was exposed were
inappropriate for a girl her age. Selena s Dad told The Teacher to mind her business .

Ethical Decision Making For Military Leaders
Character: The Key to Ethical Decision Making for Military Leaders General H.
Norman Schwarzkopf stated, The truth of the matter is that you always know the
right thing to do. The hard part is doing it. Although Schwarzkopf makes a
compelling argument, his premise is invalid due to its inflexible scope and
absolute finality. In other words, not all decisions are metaphorically black and
white. Based on differing perspectives, and most certainly for military leaders,
there are often shades of grey. General Schwarzkopf s statement suggests that
regardless of the complexity of a problem, there is always a right and a wrong answer
to every question. Simple terms of right and wrong are an over simplification of the
complex process of ethical... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, utilitarian philosophy dictates that men make decisions based on
what action will result in the most happiness for the most people. Utilitarianism is
the foundation of modern democracy, which is one of the most valued concepts in
American society. By virtue of their position of responsibility, military leaders are
required to understand the value of democracy and support the concept as a pillar
of the American value system. However, what happens when a majority of people,
in an attempt to provide the most happiness for the most people, determines that a
terrorist organization is the best form of leadership for a society, and they then put
representatives from that organization into political offices by a majority vote? This
is exactly what happened in Lebanon when citizens voted members of Hezbollah to
the Lebanese cabinet in 2008. Did society make the correct decision, or was right
and wrong more a matter of opinion in this case? The second source of dissent to
Schwarzkopf s statement comes from Judeo christen philosophies. Judeo christen
philosophies subscribe to a premise that men and women are imperfect and often
require inspired guidance from God in order to know the right thing to do. For
example, Judeo christen scriptures claim that Adam and Eve, thought to be the first
man and woman on earth, received two commandments from God. First, God
commanded Adam and Eve to multiply and replenish

Supervision Theory Essay
Why is a supervision theory basis necessary? How does an effective leader bridge
theory to practice?
Supervision involves having other people do work through delegation of duties. This
requires that the people to whom work has been delegated be trusted and respected.
There needs to be confidence between the employees and the supervisor. To compete
effectively and achieve success companies usually rely on the involvement of their
employees and must nurture their employees and encourage their initiative. This
requires effective leaders who can encourage others to be committed and involved at
work (Barry, Herbert Jeannette, 2003). On one side, the supervisor bears pressure
from the management, who wants the work done while on the other ... Show more

Relationship oriented behaviors are those behaviors that promote cohesion in a
group. Leaders who are relationship oriented are those who show human relationships
and work hard to maintain the group they lead. This type of leadership usually
involves support to the subordinates, trusting that the subordinates can work without
much supervision and a friendly environment between the leaders and the
subordinates.
By the use of these behaviors, the people in the team get the opportunity to give
their best. This is because these leaders develop a good communication channel that
involves everybody participating in decision making. Moreover, the results of the
group are usually boosted since everybody is involved and there is no time when the
leader shall make biased decisions.
This behavior is usually employee oriented but not result oriented. As such employee
feel that their interests are well addressed and end up working harder. Moreover, this
behavior makes employees not feel as subordinates by dispelling the tension that
might develop among the employees. Therefore, they usually contribute freely
towards the group and this improves the results of the group. The overall result of
relationship oriented behaviors is the improved results of the team.
As an example, a manager who is always oriented towards the results of the people
below him forces the employees to always do what he wants even if they are
incapable of doing it. Such a manager
Newton s Second Law And The Relationship
Purpose:
The purpose of this Lab was to investigate Newton s second law and the
relationships between: Force and Acceleration, and Mass and Acceleration. Newton s
Second Law states that any object that experiences a net or unbalanced force will
undergo acceleration. Newton s second law of motion describes the relationship
between force and acceleration. If you increase the force applied to an object, the
acceleration of that object increases by the same factor. For Mass and Acceleration
the net force on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by the
acceleration of the object.

Example Of Creative Writing Essay.pdf

  • 1. Example Of Creative Writing Essay Crafting an essay on the topic "Example Of Creative Writing Essay" may pose a unique set of challenges. The task involves not only the exploration of creative writing techniques but also the ability to effectively showcase those elements within the confines of a structured essay format. Striking the right balance between creativity and coherence can be a delicate act, demanding a thorough understanding of both the technicalities of essay writing and the nuances of creative expression. One challenge lies in the interpretation of "creative writing" itself. It encompasses a wide spectrum of styles, from narrative storytelling and descriptive prose to experimental forms of expression. Deciding which approach to take and how to seamlessly integrate it into a formal essay structure requires a careful navigation of artistic freedom and academic conventions. Moreover, the demand for originality places additional pressure on the writer. Crafting a truly creative piece necessitates thinking outside the conventional boundaries, offering a fresh perspective or a unique angle. This requires a deep dive into one's imagination, coupled with the ability to transcend the ordinary and present a narrative that captivates and engages the reader. Additionally, managing the flow of the essay poses a challenge. Creative writing often involves a nonlinear structure, and balancing this with the linear progression expected in an essay requires a thoughtful organization of ideas. Ensuring that the creativity enhances rather than hinders the overall coherence becomes a delicate task. Despite these challenges, the essay provides an opportunity for personal expression and the exploration of one's literary capabilities. It is a chance to demonstrate not only a mastery of language and composition but also an ability to think creatively within the confines of a specified topic. In conclusion, tackling an essay on the topic "Example Of Creative Writing Essay" demands a skillful blend of creativity and structure. Navigating the complexities of merging artistic expression with academic conventions can be challenging but ultimately rewarding. For those seeking assistance or inspiration, similar essays and a wealth of creative writing resources are available, including the option to order customized essays from platforms like HelpWriting.net. • 2. Postmodern Art Essay Postmodern art decided to make revolutionary break with past and questioned previous theories known as big narratives of art, politics, economics and overall culture in order to create new theories. The big part of postmodern theory deals with the belief of preexistence of the art all around us. The artist is the one who can recognize these elements of art around as and synthesize them into the art work. This art work becomes object of interpretation which inevitably varies among different generations, social groups, national group, religious groups, and depends on some extent of the educational level of the observers and it is also different in the same individual in different times or environments. The different interpretations of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In another words Borges through his character, Pierre Menard, primarily examined the terms of the originality, inspiration, and innovation in the art. Borges argues for strong mutual connections between the written work (art work) and the reader (observer) and written work (art) and the creator. He created his fictional world in which he unfolded the story encompassing his philosophy of art, self examined it from different angles without a fear of overestimating values of his own work because he is just objectively praising Pierre Menard s artistic product. In the story Pierre Menard presents two options how he could write his Quixote. The first option is that he, Pierre Menard, will become Cervantes, in that way that he will learn to speak 17th century Spanish, he will learn the history and examine the circumstances that were surrounding Cervantes while he was writing his Quixote. Of course, this option is denied as impossible (ironically, Borges says it too easy.) The second option, for Menard, is to write his own, Quixote; The Quixote that will, in its appearance, resemble the original work, but in its core will be completely different piece. Menard will become different Cervantes, do it through his own experience and knowledge. In this way, he will not only distinguish his The Quixote from the Don Quixote, but Menard still will stay himself. Menard intended to create The Quixote by his own means (talent, brain power, experience) so that it would be
  • 3. Civil Rights in Colored People by Henry Louis Gates Henry Louis Gates admiration and following of great civil rights movement leaders, including his mother, seems to show that he has an optimistic position on history and social change in his book Colored People . Throughout the beginning chapters he is shown growing up noticing the contract between his mother s view and the rest of the Colemans. She would stand up to white people. He admired her spark and vitality, whished to grow up in a world where he can see his mother treated with the respect she deserves. Freedom from the chains of segregation was his goal, most notably his adventures during his college years. He was dating a white girl and was also going to extreme lengths to make sure Piedmont becomes unsegregated. Growing up he sees the flame within his mother diminishing. This occurrence doesn t phase his determination, the contrary; he decides to resurrect his mother s passion. He attempts that by helping his father buy her a house, since she always wanted to own property. He seems to also believe that the arc of history curves, no matter how many curves it takes it, towards justice. He at least did throughout his adolescence years. However, in the big scheme of history, it seems that his view is not as one dimensional as readers would expect. Gate s book reveals to us how history can be ironic in the form of a shocking change of tone in the concluding chapters. He doesn t imply that history is approaching its doom because of our actions, it is simply pointing

There are the common pieces such as wrist wraps, Swiss ball and captains of crush. There are also some more unconventional training methods such as the use of: Resistance bands Chains Weight vests Kettle bells Sand bags Wrist rollers In this report I am going to give a brief outline as to what each of these are as well as what they do to benefit you and your training. Resistance bands: Resistance bands are used mainly be power lifters and athletes. The advantage resistance bands have for your training is the fact that they give heavier load as they get stretch up. These bands range between resistances of 15 400 kilograms. For example: Smith machine shoulder press. Wrap a band around each side of the bar and then around the base of the machine. As you press upwards the band will stretch increasing the resistance on the bar. Resulting in the bar getting heavier
  • 5. The Core Movie Essay Jake Mcclurg Movie project Dr. Sattler 4/21/17 The Core Sometimes movies appear to be very scientific but in reality are complete opposite. Does that necessarily make it bad movie? That is a personal opinion, but to me personally I can t really get behind a scientific movie that isn t backed up by science. The Core written by John Rogers and Cooper Layne and directed by Jon Amiel, is one of the worst movies if you are comparing the movie details to scientific facts. In the following paragraphs and pages I will compare the movie to scientific facts, to show how inaccurate the film really is. So the whole movie is based off that the idea that the earth s core is going to stop spinning which causes the earth to have terrible disasters, so a team of scientists have to travel to the center of the earth to bomb it. In the movie it says the earths magnetic field is caused by the earths spinning outer layer which is true however it does not spin in one direction, it spins in very complicated circuits. The problem in the movie is that earths outer layer of the core all of a sudden stops and it never gives a reason as of why it stops. In order for this layer of the core stop an enormous force would have to have a great impact ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... That right there tells just how silly the idea of that really is. As if that wasn t bad enough it gets worse. The character in the mvoie who has to travel to set this bomb off is in a ship called Virgil. On his way, the ship side swipes a diamond creating a hole in the ship, even though the hole is not very large. The pressure and heat the ship is in would cause the outside material to flow into the ship with an explosive
  • 6. Cosmos In Matthew Quick s Boy 21 In Boy 21, author Matthew Quick uses the symbol of the cosmos to symbolize the death of Boy 21 s (russ) parents. Boy 21 is a story about three high school seniors whose lives are brought together through basketball. Finley and his girlfriend, Erin, use basketball to escape their racially segregated, drug dealing neighborhood. The coach of the local high school asks Finley to become friends with Russ, a former basketball prodigy. Russ s parents passed away and is now living with his grandparents in the town of Bellmont. He is so traumatized by the events that he has developed an alternate identity (Boy21) to help get him through his parents death and has refuses to pick up a basketball. Finley and Boy 21 help each other in their own unique ways and become friends. The book hits a big turning point when Finley s girlfriend is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When Finely entered Boy 21 s room, he was very surprised of the atmosphere of Boy 21 s room. At this moment he just met Boy 21 and was surprised. Boy 21 was talking really weirdly about the cosmos. My name is Boy 21. I m a prototype. A test model. I was sent to your planet temporarily to gather scientific information on what you Earthlings know as emotions. I will only be here for a few more months (pg 39). This quote at first might seem bizarre, but because of the death of his parents this may mean something else. When he mentions space, it might mean the heavens. This may have different meanings but I think that it means that Boy 21 might commit suicide soon. Since Boy 21 refuses to play basketball anymore or do anything fun, I think he is depressed. He also says that he is a prototype which might mean that Boy 21 thinks that he is not good enough. Some might say that this statement is a little harsh but, when he says he is only going to be on Earth temporarily, it might mean he is going to attempt
  • 7. Tintern Abbey, The Us, Apostrophe To The Ocean And The Tyger Five Favorite Readings Throughout this semester we have read many stories from many different authors. All the readings have had very different messages and outlooks on certain things. To only take about five of them will be hard because there has been so many that have caught my attention. The more of them I read the harder the choice. My favorite reading are Tintern Abbey, The World Is Too Much With Us, She Walks In Beauty, Apostrophe To The Ocean and The Tyger . My first favorite reading of the second semester was Tintern Abbey by William Wordsworth . To understand the reading you have to understand a little bit about the author, he loved nature and loved writing. Tintern Abbey is about his second visit to the valley of the River Wyeand ruins of Tintern Abbey. Incase you don t know what that is it used to be a medieval church in Wales. He compares his first visit to his second visit and how it has changed. Not only have it changed physically but, the meaning behind ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This poem talks about a man s view on a women. Sounds funny I know but, if you have read it you would totally understand why it s one of my favorites. In the society we grew up in is totally different than the one our parents or even our grandparents grew up in. In our generation we are worried about if our selfie got more than ten likes. Back then they were only worried about having food on the table. With this new generation we have a totally different outlook on life, for example the way men look at women. We as women we know that all guys want is to do the nasty, well that s what we think anyways. This poem gave me hope that not all guys are the same. Byron tells us that he looks at the way we walk, the hair and the face at first then get to know them and wonder more. More guys should take his advice it might get them farther in life, this poem gave me hope that there are still decent men out in the
  • 8. Equiano s From The Interesting Narrative Of Olaudah Equiano Olaudah Equiano s From the Interesting Narrative of Olaudah Equiano is written with the intent of ending the slave trade and aiding the abolitionists movement. His narrative tells his personal story of kidnapping, being sold into slavery and his experience in the middle passage. According to this account Olaudah Equiano grew up in Africa with a large family. He was captured and sold into slaveryat age eleven. As an adult he became an opposing voice to slavery. This autobiography was published in Britain, with the help of abolitionists. This gives a purpose to Equiano s writing and the purpose is shown throughout the text as Equiano tries to expose the evil of the slave trade. Equiano tells of two different types of slavery in his text. As he describes his family Equiano explains that My father, besides many slaves, had a numerous family, of which seven lived to grow up, including myself and a sister, who was the only daughter. (Pg. 2) This is the first mention of slavery in the text bringing in the idea that slavery did exist in Africa even before Europeans set foot on the continent. This concept is then revisited when Equiano is kidnapped and brought to another African country to become a domestic slave to a Chieftain. This slavery that he is first sold into seems to be civil and humanizing for the slaves, similar to an indentured servant, it is said that This man had two wives and some children, and they all used me extremely well, and did all they could to
  • 9. Benefits Of Parking On College Students The life of a college student is quite stressful. Between classes, social issues, clubs, and jobs, college life already guarantees stress. This stress is only heightened by parking after the commute many students make. Imagine that a student has left their home and are on their way to a class in half an hour. There is a twenty minute drive to the school, so ten minutes are left to park and walk to class. Upon arriving, however, all the lots are full. The same student has now completed a day of college and is trying to get their car but can t find it and knows that it will take them an extra ten minutes to get their car in the first place. This issue of parking is one that many consider universally annoying. Students, faculty, staff all have issues with the parking situation. Fortunately, there are many possible solutions. The campus of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology (RHIT) holds many locations that could be used as additional parking. Cost versus reward feedback for such an action would be greatly beneficial to the institute. Parking on this campus has been an issue for many years as Professor Roads can attest. With all of this in mind, it is time for RHIT to make a change to this situation. The Rose Hulman Institute of Technology needs to upgrade their parking situation as soon as possible. Parking at Rose Hulman has always been an issue, but due to the rising number of students per class, it has gotten worse over the past few years. We interviewed Professor Roads, a
  • 10. Hip Hop and Adam Yauch Park Essay Hip Hop has been a thread of music that is deeply rooted in the struggle within the black communities of America. It acted as a window for people outside of the black community to acknowledge and experience, to an extent, what endeavors those communities encounter. Although Hip Hop s central purpose is to denote the subjugation that was implemented on the black community, Hip Hop began as a mere offshoot of 1970 s jazz, funk, and soul. Beastie Boys, now seen as a forefront in the gentrification of Hip Hop, were at first an anomaly. Being an all white group in a predominantly African American industry was not a walk in the park at first, but once they showed their ability to rap; no one seemed to doubt that they truly belonged in the Hip... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Because of this, I researched heavily the park s atmosphere, so that I would be able to find it with ease. The only thing I dreaded was the commute. Brooklyn Heights to and from Queens is not within each other s proximity so I knew that the trip from there and back would occupy a large part of my journey. From what my research told me, the easiest option was to take the F train all the way to Jay Metro, where I would have a 10 minute walk to the park. The other options included transfers to trains that I was not familiar with, nevertheless the F train was the most convenient because the 169th station is a couple blocks from St. Johns. When I finally had the time to go through with this commute, I walked to 169th and essentially took the F train until my stop. Although the direction list on Google maps was specific, I became flustered when I arrived at the Jay Street. Luckily however there was a police man who pointed me in the direction of State Street where Adam Yauch Park is located. When I came up to my destination, I was actually disappointed. The park was smaller than I imagined and did not really offer much; however, one thing that I did notice the variety of trees. According to NYC Parks: When you visit his namesake park, be sure to take in the wide variety of trees, including silver lindens, London planes, pin oaks, and Norway maples (NYC Parks). Since Adam

The epic follows a courageous warrior named Beowulf throughout his young, adult life and into his old age. The virtues of moderation, unselfishness, consideration for others are practiced and appreciated. The author has fairly exhaulted the fights with Grendel, his mother, and the dragon into a conflict between powers of good and evil. The figure of Grendel, while originally an ordinary troll is conceived as an impersonation of evil and darkness, even an incarnation of the Christian devil. A basic install of Active Directory was also implemented, allowing a single client to connect to the bestnet.local domain. Difference Between Homeland Security And Homeland Security Homeland security and homeland defense are different concepts in relation to national security but do rely on each other both for internal and external security of the United States. Their missions vary in scope but require the support of each asset to be effective in our national security. There is a very thin line that separates the differences between homeland security and homeland defense and before the 9/11 attacks most Americans did not think much about either. September 11, 2001 forever changed the way that the United States deals with our national security and brought forward to the national consciousness the need for definitive policies to protect our homeland. Homeland security is defined as the prevention, preemption, and deterrence of, and defense against, aggression targeted at U.S. territory, sovereignty, domestic population and infrastructure as well as the management of the consequences of such aggression and other domestic emergencies (Homeland Security, 2017). Homeland security is broken down into five primary responsibilities. They are: Protecting the American people from terrorist threats. Securing our borders. Immigration enforcement. Emergency preparedness. Unification and evolution of homeland security The American people did not think much about terrorist threats from abroad before September 11, 2001. Terrorist attacks were always thought of as being overseas and far off distant lands and not a worry for the average American. Of course, we

The most commonly recycled materials include paper, glass, plastic, and metals. Materials may be used to make more of its original product or to make something entirely new. For example, recycled aluminum cans are often made into new cans, while recycled class may be made into paving material. Recyclingdoes not always save money immediately, it provides long lasting benefits because it conserves natural resources while saving energy and reducing pollution. Recycling isn t a new concept in the modern era, humans have always been finding new uses for items. However, large scale recycling is a fairly recent trend that gained widespread support in the 1970s when people became more aware of their environmental impact. • 28. Abortion Is The Argument Of Abortion Constitutional Right to Abortion in the United States The constitution, being written by men, only originally concerned the freedom of men. Since women were brought into the mix for increasing equality, they are legally allowed the same rights as any other citizen. One issue concerning the rights of women is the argument of abortion laws. It is debated about whether it is an ethical and morally just procedure and whether it violates the fetus s rights or a woman s freedom of her own body. Most people either agree that women should be allowed to decide on an abortion over pregnancy and some oppose abortions completely. Before 1973, abortion was widely illegal. Since then, several cases have challenged women s rights to abortions, and changed the laws for all states. Today, abortion is legal in all states, because of the Supreme Court Case known as Roe v. Wade(1973). This proved that abortions are a constitutional right guaranteed in the Constitution. Although no state now has the power to go against this, they can make it harder to get the procedure. The option of abortion gives a women security if she cannot support a baby. It is also safer than pregnancy and is much cheaper as well. Babies are incredibly large responsibilities and they should not be seen has inevitable mistakes by women who felt obligated to keep them. In the article, Cherokee Population Losses during the Trail of Tears: A New Perspective and a New Estimate, by Russell Thornton, the author uses specific mathematical techniques and historic data to reveal that the Cherokee Tribe suffered more losses on the Trail of Tears than historians have estimated in the past. In the 1830s, the United Statesgovernment issued a series of laws that forced Indians who resided in the southeastern part of the country to migrate westward towards new Indian territory. A few years prior, states passed laws that annexed Native Americans land and took away several of their fundamental rights. They were treated like complete savages and were looked down upon by nearly every American since colonization of the land... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Historians have been able to estimate that around 16,000 tribe members were removed from their homes to start the migration (Thornton 293). Therefore, with previous data being that 4,000 Cherokee members were killed, it can be concluded that around 1/4 of the migrators died. Despite these numbers being complete estimates due to the lack of clear facts and resources that are available, Thornton believes that demographic analysis could strengthen the estimates and make them more accurate. Thornton found that in 1835, the Cherokee population was 16,542. After this year, there was no access to population records until 1850 (Thornton 294). This lack of data could cause inaccuracies, but a prediction is still possible. Thornton created a data table of the population from 1808 to 1835, and then from 1850 to 1880. The year that was needed in order to determine the tribe loss was 1840, due to the fact that the removal began in 1838 and didn t fully end until 1840. Thornton was then able to make a graph from the population data he had obtained. This graph was thus able to make an estimate that the population in 1840 was around 13,032. With this number, Thornton could subtract the estimated population in 1838 (23,170) from the estimated population in 1840. This would give him the number 10,138, which represented the difference between the periods, or his number for

With the advancement of modern technology, America is being turned into an Orwellian society. While the technology we have is more advanced than what was seen in 1984, it can be reasoned that the services and devices, not present in 1984, would be heavily... To verify nitrate has been reduced past nitrite, zinc powder is added to the medium. If the medium does not change colour after the addition of zinc powder, then the nitrates in the medium have been reduced further. If the bacterium does not use nitrate, then the addition of zinc powder will reduce the nitrates in the medium to nitrite, changing the medium to a pink or red colour. • 35. The Best Things About Earning A Passive Income One of the best things about earning a passive income is that there is no skill or knowledge glass ceiling when it comes to doing so. It does not matter if you are a PHD student, a doctor with 20 years of experience, or a person who did not finish high school, anybody can earn a passive income. A good demonstration of this is EBook writing; it may sound daunting at first, but anyone can do it. Experts (job recruiters, psychologists, marriage counselors, dietitians, personal trainers, hypnotists, etc.) Instructors (yoga, piano, etc.) Coaches (sports coach, vocal coach, life coach, business coach, etc.) Teachers (language, cooking, etc.) These are all very diverse professions, each requiring a different skill set, yet anyone in these professions could write a bestselling EBook just based off their experiences. So, as you can see, it does not matter who you are, as long as you are willing to work at it, you can build a very impressive passive income. You do not have to be a professional either. All the above professions went through some form of professional training, but even if you did not, you can still write a great EBook. Some people may get intimidated because their writing is not good, or they do not think anyone will read it; but look, the EBook you write does not have to be the next War and Peace; they simply have to help your potential readership. The key is to focus on a problem or question that your potential readers could have, and to solve that problem

Some characteristics of of a villain that I think Jafar resembles is being able to create havoc anywhere they go under any circumstances. Also being able to make people believe them and trust him. That is also why he makes a good villain when he is able to execute is plans with extreme efficiency. He makes these plans under extreme pressure also. Jafar reminds me of a very different kind of villain, considering his traits as a villain. The man he reminds me of being the villain and antagonist of a wrinkle in time known as the man with the red eyes. Mass mediaas an agent of socialization can prime and/or skew people s belief system through mere exposure without the slightest clue of it affects. Mass media as an agent of socialization can structure people s perception on society as a whole by simply using influence, control, and trust. Literature Review Influence Media influence is the force by which ideas are injected into people s lives shaping the very culture of society. This influence is masqueraded through hidden media message, resulting in a change in its audience which can be positive or negative, abrupt or gradual, short term or long term. Although mass media s influential effect can reach a wide ranged audience as an agent of socialization the responsibility to contain what it releases has not been of importance. The media s socially significant obligations are formally ignored. (A.S. Zapesotskii, 2011, p 9). However, what happens when a majority of people, in an attempt to provide the most happiness for the most people, determines that a terrorist organization is the best form of leadership for a society, and they then put representatives from that organization into political offices by a majority vote? While there are multiple treatment approaches, MГёrkved et al. (2014) sought to compare prolonged exposure (PE) to narrative exposure therapy (NET). In doing so, MГёrkved et al. (2014) evaluated treatment manuals for each approach, as well as clinical outcome data. Therefore, they obtained 32 PE studies and 15 NET studies (MГёrkved et al., 2014). Overall, the analyses indicated that the similarities included both being individual exposure therapies that include multiple components (e.g., psychoeducation and imaginal exposure), both have their foundation in emotional... (1999) completed a case study whereby a Vietnam veteran participated in and completed virtual reality exposure (VRE) therapy. The participant for this case study was 50 years old, white, served as a helicopter pilot during his enlistment, and met diagnostic criteria for PTSD, current major depressive disorder, and alcohol abuse according to the DSM IV. In addition, he was participating in pharmacotherapy (i.e., Prozac 40mg, Buspar 20mg, and Doxipin 150mg) at the time of his participation in this study (Rothbaum et al., 1999). He completed a pre and post analysis with the CAPS, CES, Impact of Events Scale (IES), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and State Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI; Rothbaum et al., 1999). During his participation in the VR portion of this treatment, he wore a headset whereby he could see visual images, as well as headphones, so he could hear the appropriate sounds to correspond with the images (Rothbaum et al., 1999). The researchers did not show him real clips of Vietnam, rather he was exposed to computer generated audio and video (Rothbaum et al., 1999). Finally, during the simulated helicopter flights, the individual sat in a thunder seat that allowed him to feel the vibrations from the helicopter (Rothbaum et al.,
  • 53. Supervision Theory Essay Why is a supervision theory basis necessary? How does an effective leader bridge theory to practice? Supervision involves having other people do work through delegation of duties. This requires that the people to whom work has been delegated be trusted and respected. There needs to be confidence between the employees and the supervisor. To compete effectively and achieve success companies usually rely on the involvement of their employees and must nurture their employees and encourage their initiative. This requires effective leaders who can encourage others to be committed and involved at work (Barry, Herbert Jeannette, 2003). On one side, the supervisor bears pressure from the management, who wants the work done while on the other ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Share an example of this. Relationship oriented behaviors are those behaviors that promote cohesion in a group. Leaders who are relationship oriented are those who show human relationships and work hard to maintain the group they lead. This type of leadership usually involves support to the subordinates, trusting that the subordinates can work without much supervision and a friendly environment between the leaders and the subordinates. By the use of these behaviors, the people in the team get the opportunity to give their best. This is because these leaders develop a good communication channel that involves everybody participating in decision making. Moreover, the results of the group are usually boosted since everybody is involved and there is no time when the leader shall make biased decisions. This behavior is usually employee oriented but not result oriented. As such employee feel that their interests are well addressed and end up working harder. Moreover, this behavior makes employees not feel as subordinates by dispelling the tension that might develop among the employees. Therefore, they usually contribute freely towards the group and this improves the results of the group. The overall result of relationship oriented behaviors is the improved results of the team. As an example, a manager who is always oriented towards the results of the people below him forces the employees to always do what he wants even if they are incapable of doing it. Such a manager
  • 54. Newton s Second Law And The Relationship Purpose: The purpose of this Lab was to investigate Newton s second law and the relationships between: Force and Acceleration, and Mass and Acceleration. Newton s Second Law states that any object that experiences a net or unbalanced force will undergo acceleration. Newton s second law of motion describes the relationship between force and acceleration. If you increase the force applied to an object, the acceleration of that object increases by the same factor. For Mass and Acceleration the net force on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by the acceleration of the object. Hypothesis: For group A (Acceleration, Mass) the independent variable (IV) (Change) was the mass of the cart. The dependent variable (DV) ... Another student should be holding the cart in place until it is time to collect data. 4.On go, click the GREEN button to collect data with the sonic detector. Wait a few moments before letting the cart go. 5.Release the cart and let the hanging weight pull the cart down the track. 6.Highlight an area on the V t graph that is relatively straight. 7.Click Analyze at the top of the screen. 8.Choose curve fit, then velocity, then select linear from the drop down menu. The m value is the acceleration. 9.Repeat this step by adding one bar to the cart. Each bar is 500 g. The total mass of the cart is now 1000g. 10.Continue one more time by adding another bar of 500g. This gives a total of 1500 g of mass for the cart. 11.Record the acceleration data as you go in the table below. Group B: 12.Set up the cart with a string attached to the 50 grams hanging over the edge of the table. 13.The cart should be empty, which is 500 g. 14.Have one student ready to turn on the sonic detector. Another student should be holding the cart in place until it is time to collect data. 15.On go, click the GREEN button to collect data with the sonic detector. Wait a few moments before letting the cart go. 16.Release the cart and let the hanging weight pull the cart down the track. 17.Highlight an area on the V t graph
