would be the Magic Bus. This Magic Bus provided Christopher McCandless with a
place of shelter in the American West. He came across this abandoned bus during
his travels and gave it this name because of a song from The Who which was a
British Rock band that Mccandless favored. The author included this visual
symbol in the book most likely for the purpose of demonstrating McCandless belief
in luck and hope. McCandless believed that since he randomly came across a bus
in the wild, it was considered a form of luck because it wasn t likely for someone to
come across that during an expedition in the wild. He also later on eats the wrong

During the 20th century, specifically the year 1945, the United States of America
had two atomic bombs that the commander and chief, and president at the time,
Harry Truman, knew about. President Truman plan was to drop the bombs on two
of Japans cities, Hiroshima first and then Nagasaki. Truman s plans went
accordingly, which to this day leads to a very controversial topic on whether or not
dropping the atomic bombs was a good or bad thing. There is evidence and
reasoning to back up both claims, in which everyone is entitled to their own
opinion. However, in my opinion, I believe the choice of Harry Truman to drop the
two atomic bombs was the right choice because it saved lives, helped end the war
faster, and it was merely the only choice for the sake of the American soldiers.
During this time there was a lot going on. A few years before, between the time 1937
and 1941 Japan owned most of the land of East and Southeast Asia. When the attack
of the United Statesin December of 1941 at Pearl Harbor, this caused the United
States to enter the war. Japan did not have enough resources to fight against the
United States and Britain causing them to be pushed out of the land of East and

Southwest University Park It all started as a great attraction, a great investment for
the city. A great central attraction , many would say. I remember watching the news
and people opposing, but mostly hearing how people excited. Happy to see

I believe research is an extremely dynamic process. As time passes, certain areas of
research are becoming more salient, while others require less attention. My areas of
research are in mechanical systems and solid mechanics. My general research
question is how the modeling and designing of components and systems can support

transportation applications.

Ball State University is a very reputable school with a lot of well thought out
policies. Since 1918, Ball State has maintained a well organized university, which
is impressive when you consider the large enrollment number. However, one policy
that Ball State could improve is the visitation policy. The current visitation policy is
generally one of the biggest criticisms with Ball State, and for good reason. The
current policy does not permit guests over in the dorms past midnight on
weeknights. The reason why the policy is a problem is because it hinders the
students academic experience, as it would deny study groups from meeting in a
dorm past midnight. A feasible solution that Ball State could employ would be to
extend the visitation policy to twenty four hour visitation, but increase the
consequences if hall rules are broken. This would be a more effective way of
