meal, and some clothes free of charge and get released the next day. If they go to
prison, the inmate can get all those perks, and get released years later. These
inmates that come to prison for small crimes, are causing the prison populations to
expand person by person. The cells are not designed more than two people , and the
shower can only one body in it at a time and of course the toilet is only designed for

Metaphysics And The Philosophical Branch Of Reality
In the field of philosophy there are many branches which have their own individual
philosophy of their own. But, within those branches there are smaller branches.
The branches that I am referring to are ; Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of
Science, Philosophy of Meaning, the problem of free will, and social and political
philosophy. From all these topics, Metaphysics is the most interesting.
Metaphysics is the study of reality. Metaphysic focuses on the question, what
explains the source of reality? In the philosophical branch of Metaphysics come
smaller branches. Four of these smaller branches are; Dualism, Materialism also
known as Physicalism, and Pantheism. Materialism is, the view that matter is the
ultimate constituent of reality (Velasquez 148). In other words Materialism says
that only material things are real. Nothing else exists but matter; there is no
spiritual aspect in life. The only thing that matters are things we can see and feel.
Charvaka philosophers that believed in Materialism argued that, Because all we
know is what we can perceive with our senses, and because whatever we perceive
with our senses is physical and material, it follows that all we can know is the
material of physical world around us (Velasquez 149). They say that if we cannot
see it or we do not know that it exists then it must be wrong. If we cannot physically
use our senses to acknowledge it then things like souls, gods, or other spiritual
realities can t be real.

The War Between America And America
During the time from 1800 1900 America had gone through a series of some tough
growing pains. It was recovering from its first war with Britain and would not be
its last battle, for this newly formed country. The over whelming onslaught of war
was just the start of this small country s birth. Within the 1800 s there were 35 wars
in America s history and it was needing to prove its worth by each one. You will see
reasons why a young country had to fight to save itself, what effects these battles had
on America, and the battles that scared America the worst.
America was a young country that had just beaten the British nation, that same power
that gave them the opportunity to become America. Recovering from its wounds with
the mother land, America had to tighten the reigns as the battles with other nations
were about to start. America was being groomed by its founding fathers like Thomas
Jefferson to become something greater as he said in a letter to John Adams, to
establish each ward with reading, writing, and arithmetic. (1) Jefferson portraying to
Adams that he wanted this country built on free thinkers and not slaves to the crown.
The thought that would linger in every American during the 1800 s was that they had
to fight for the freedom they had earned. Unlike the French that fought and lost its
revolution and went back to a monarchy. (2) With this great nation it knew it needed
great warriors, and the call to arms would be answered by the United States Marine
Corps.

Nietzsche s Morals
In 1887, philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche had written a collection of essays entitled
The Genealogy of Morals. Nietzsche ideas was an inscribed assessment based upon
ethical principles. Nietzsche analyzes the connections and significance of the
contrasting moral concepts in a distinctive section where he elaborates on the good
and the bad as well as the good and evil, by expressing his thoughts on slave morality
that was created by the Jews.
In the beginning, Nietzsche states that the priest is worthless and that they learn to
hate. The priest hatred is powerful that it causes them to be destructive and it is
known throughout history. Nietzsche compares the Jews to the priest caste who
were the most hated in human history. The Jews somehow managed to reverse the
moral assessments associating themselves as good but, the powerful nobles will be
known as evil and damned for eternity. However, Nietzsche said, It was the Jews
who started the slave revolt in morals (445)
In the following section, Nietzsche explains that the reassessment of values effected
by the Jews was occurring and that they were not noticeable. One of their
achievements was the development of the religious teachings Christianity. He states
that the Christian love violated the Jewish hatred and that the representation of Jesus
and his crucifixion was the persuasion of the moral code. The embodiment and

Tora Tora Tora is a Japanese movie that portrays their side of things in World War
II. The title, Tora Tora Tora, was the Japanese codeword used to show that
complete surprise had been achieved. In August 1939, a US trade embargo was
depriving Japan of raw materials. The Japanese were preparing for war by forming
an alliance with Germany and Italy. The Japanese Commander in Chief ordered the
planning of a surprise attack on the U.S. anchored fleet at Pearl Harbor. Meanwhile
the U.S. had managed to break the Japanese code and secret messages. These

With Tora Tora Tora being a Japanese movie, we all had to read subtitles. After a
while of reading subtitles it got boring. Pearl Harbor also had more of a storyline
to it. Not only did it have romance in it, which I enjoyed besides Evelyn doing Rafe
wrong and going after his best friend, it also had action it. The actual bombing
scene was interesting to watch. Yes, at times it was gruesome, but it kept you
interested. I feel that the romance helped make the movie as good as it was. The
romance took away from some of the gruesome parts of the movie and helped
lighten the mood. The only bad thing about Pearl Harbor, in my opinion, was that
Evelyn and Danny did Rafe wrong. If you love somebody you don t go after their
best friend as soon as you find out they are dead. Danny also disrespected bro code
and went after his best friend s girl. But, Pearl Harbor overall was just a better movie
than Tora Tora
