movement, Sportive movement, symbolic movement, and supportive movement. At

through the body; the main emphasis being physical expressiveness (Wallace 2013).

combine them. We are able to genetically modify plants and animals to have traits

The Stonewall Riots highlighted a key issue in the late 1960s American society.
Homosexuality was often seen as an illness and a sin to most people. For example, in
April 1952 homosexuality was deemed a sociopathic mental disorder by the American
Psychiatric Association (CNN). This idea was heightened in American society
because it was being taught that being gaywas one of the worst things an American
can be; showing videos such as Boys Beware . This all changed after the conflict at
the Stonewall Inn; located in New York on Christopher Street. The Stonewall Inn
was the place where gays and lesbians would flock to, to feel accepted for once in
their lives as many of them ran away or were disowned by their own families. Even
though Stonewall was a place of freedom, it was also a place for fear as the police
would constantly raid the bar to make sure that alcohol was not being served to
gays, as the New York State Liquor Authority deemed it illegal to serve homosexuals.
Lasting only three days, the riots were able to help start the transformation of
American society to become what it is today. The lack of a formal compromise
between the nation and the LGBTcommunity was an advantage for the effects of
Stonewall to spread as the conflict was able to bring a wave of acceptance and
pushed many of history s gay role models to feel inspired to stand up.
Unlike most issues in history there was no compromise for the Stonewall Riots. After
the American Revolution, the Treaty of Paris was there to help regulate the tension
between America and England, but for Stonewall it was just met with messy streets
that needed to be cleaned up, injuries on both sides, and the realization that there
was a need for change. Treaties or compromises often come with rigid details that
confine the parties involved to follow very strict rules. For example, The Treaty of
Paris divided the land in North America between Spain, Britain, and the colonist,
kicking the French off the continent entirely (Treaty of Paris). If the events of

glucuronide) and sulfate conjugates (3 O sulfate) formed after absorption in
enterocytes are secreted back to intestines, where they may be deconjugated and
reabsorbed or excreted in the feces (Walle et al., 2004; Marier et al., 2002). The
amount of free resveratrol reaching the target tissue is decreased due to enterohepatic
cycle; this explains its rapid metabolism in liver and low concentration in blood. The
major metabolites of resveratrol formed are dihydroresveratrol, sulfate and
glucuronide conjugates, including disulfates and mixed sulfate glucuronides (Wang
et al., 2005). The metabolites of resveratrol have longer half life and are present in
larger amount than resveratrol after absorption (Andres Lacueva et al., 2010;
Polycarpou et al., 2013). After oral administration of resveratrol, mainly sulphate or
glucuronic acid conjugates were present in urine (Singh et al., 2013). The amount of
sulphate and glucuronide metabolites was shown to vary with the tissue and species
considered: sulphate conjugates are main metabolites in humans, whereas primarily
glucuronide conjugates are found in rodents; furthermore, the glucuronides are
present in larger amounts than sulphates in rat liver and testes, but not in lung (Juan
