How to Stop Superbugs..?
Superbugs could kill 10 million people a YEAR
 Drugs companies need up to £25billion to fight the growing
superbugs crisis, a Government advisor warns today.

Ancient Treatment For Eye Infections Could Be Cure
For Superbugs
 A one thousand year old Anglo-Saxon remedy for eye infections which
originates from a manuscript in the British Library has been found to kill
the modern-day superbug MRSA in an unusual research collaboration at
The University of Nottingham.
Designing smarter drugs to fight antibiotic resistance
Antibiotics (orange dots) face a number of potential obstacles on
their way from the site of administration to their target within the
infecting bacteria.
Approved antibiotics work by inhibiting a limited repertoire of bacterial targets, disrupting
essential functions such as cell wall synthesis, protein production and DNA replication.
