Different procedures are necessary depending on the initiating and terminating party:
Mobile Originating Call MOC: Call setup, which are initiated by an MS
Mobile Terminating Call MTC: Call setup, where an MS is the called party
Mobile Mobile Call MMC: Call: setup between two mobile subscribers; MMC thus consists of the execution of a MOC and a MTC one after the other.
Mobile Internal Call MIC: a special case of MMC; both MSs are in the same MSC area, possibly even in the same cell.
CR : smart radio that has the ability to sense the external environment, learn from the history and make intelligent decisions to adjust its transmission parameters according
to the current state of the environment.

The necessity of mobile train radio communication in indiaeSAT Journals
Abstract Presently, India has the dubious distinction of recording an exponential number of train accidents as compared to its other developed counterparts. Though, no accident is completely avoidable, what can be done is to develop a certain technologically advanced machinery which can scale down the prospects of such accidents and expedite Disaster Management in case of any mishap. This would help to curtail the damage to life and property. The “Mobile Train Radio Communication (MTRC) “system is a dynamic and technologically avant-garde system based on the “Global System for Mobile Communication-Railways (GSM-R)” technology and it can play an intrinsic role in abbreviating train accidents by aiding effective communication. With the passage of time, India has shown its technological capability to the world, be it through the successful launch of the “Mangalyaan” in the very first attempt, the invention of various machines and electronic gadgets by the Engineers and Scientists across the country, the development of India as a nuclear power and so on. As Dr. D. Swaminadhan said in his speech, “Science and technology have been an integral part of Indian civilization and culture over the past several millennia”. India has the best of resources and technical minds available, through which it can move ahead of its other developed counterparts. As life is very precious, a major requirement of the present is to switch over to the “MTRC” system at the earliest. The railway accidents over the past decade cannot be neglected and the unfortunate events cannot be entirely reasoned as an event occurring out of chance. Trains are merely machines running on railway tracks and they cannot think of how to avoid accidents on their own. As B.F. Skinner rightly said “The real problem is not whether machines think, but whether men do”. It is up to the human beings to design and use an efficient system which can help the train driver and the station master to know about the possibility of any untoward hazard beforehand by developing effective communication between the concerned officials. Key Words: Train Communication, MTRC system , GSM-R Technology, Train Accident

Nowadays mobile phones have become a must for almost all people from all over the world. An opportunity to stay in touch with friends and family members, access to email and business associates are just a few of reasons for the boosting importance of cell phones. Mobile telephony is the provision of telephone services to phones which may move around freely rather than stay fixed in one location. Today mobile phones are the best way to stay connected with others as well as provide the user with a sense of security. A conceptual study have been made to briefly discus what mobile telephony is, how it emerges and what technologies it use.
Vodafone summer internship- Branding & Pos Material developmentAbhimanyu Singh
This topic was undertaken during my summer internship at Vodafone in April, 2012. the job was to understand the importance of branding, particularly in store branding for vodafone in multi-brand outlets. to understand the the effect of point of sale materials on both customers and retailers. a detailed market survey was conducted in Bangalore covering 12 towns and some 250 retail outlets. the second part of my internship was to devise a new point of sale material for instore branding of retail outlets. I came up with dedicated merchandise holders for vodafone posters and information cards as traditional practice is to paste posters on walls which were later overlapped by competitors posters`. this was seen as a disadvantage for both retailers and the company in terms of visibility and information providing. A pilot project was conducted to find the acceptability of the new point of sale material. all the retailers who were a part of the pilot project agreed to keep the holder as they found them useful.
Mobile Communications 4G and 5G Effect on Coronavirus Covid 19 and other Dise...ijtsrd
Mobile communications in various generations up to fifth generation 5G developed in time have offered a gigantic change in telecommunications field by the applications of digital electronics switching with optical fibre as well as wireless technologies in the world. Presently people have all types of communication facilities to pace in the mobile communications age in 4G, 5G and higher Generation having very high speed data communications by the help of electromagnetic waves transmission receiving system in MHz to GHz range. It has a tremendous bad effect on human and animal health due to exposure of very high frequency electromagnetic waves. Recently pandemic Coronavirus Covid 19 disease severely intensifies due to less immunity power of human beings which is caused by 4G and 5G mobile communications system. Dr. Pijush Kanti Bhattacharjee "Mobile Communications 4G and 5G Effect on Coronavirus (Covid-19) and other Diseases" Published in International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (ijtsrd), ISSN: 2456-6470, Volume-5 | Issue-2 , February 2021, URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/papers/ijtsrd38453.pdf Paper Url: https://www.ijtsrd.com/engineering/electronics-and-communication-engineering/38453/mobile-communications-4g-and-5g-effect-on-coronavirus-covid19-and-other-diseases/dr-pijush-kanti-bhattacharjee
Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

2. The term ‘mobile’ has completely revolutionized the
communication by opening up innovative
applications that are limited to one's imagination.
Today, mobile communication has become the
backbone of the society. All the mobile system
technologies have improved the way of living. Its
main plus point is that it has privileged a common
mass of society.
3. The first wire line telephone system was introduced
in the year 1877. Mobile communication systems as
early as 1934 were based on Amplitude Modulation
(AM) schemes and only certain public organizations
maintained such systems.
However, during its initial three and a half decades it
found very less market penetration owing to high
costs and numerous technological drawbacks. But
with the development of the cellular concept in the
1960s at the Bell Laboratories, mobile
communications began to be a promising field of
expanse which could serve wider populations.
4. Simplex System: Simplex systems utilize simplex
channels i.e., the communication is unidirectional.
Half Duplex System: Half duplex radio systems that
use half duplex radio channels allow for non-
simultaneous bidirectional communication.
Full Duplex System: Full duplex systems allow two
way simultaneous communications.
5. The first mobile phone system in the market was
AMPS. It was the first U.S. cellular telephone
system, deployed in Chicago in 1983. The main
technology of this first generation mobile system was
FDMA/FDD and analog FM.
6. Digital modulation formats were introduced in this
generation with the main technology as TDMA/FDD
and CDMA/FDD. The 2G systems introduced three
popular TDMA standards and one popular CDMA
standard in the market.
7. 3G is the third generation of mobile phone standards
and technology, superseding 2.5G. It is based on the
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) family
of standards under the International Mobile
Telecommunications-2000 (IMT-2000).
ITU launched IMT-2000 program, which, together
with the main industry and standardization bodies
worldwide, targets to implement a global frequency
band that would support a single, ubiquitous wireless
communication standard for all countries, to provide
the framework for the definition of the 3G mobile
systems
8.
9. Microwave wireless links can be used to create a
wireless local loop. The local loop can be thought of
as the "last mile" of the telecommunication network
that resides between the central office (CO) and the
individual homes and business in close proximity to
the CO. An advantage of WLL technology is that
once the wireless equipment is paid for, there are no
additional costs for transport between the CO and the
customer premises equipment. Many new services
have been proposed and this includes the concept of
Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS),
which provides broadband telecommunication access
in the local exchange.
10. Facilitates ad-hoc data transmission over short distances
from fixed and mobile Devices.
Uses a radio technology called frequency hopping spread
spectrum. It chops up the data being sent and transmits
chunks of it on up to 79 different frequencies.
In its basic mode, the modulation is Gaussian frequency
shift keying (GFSK).
It can achieve a gross data rate of 1 Mb/s
Primarily designed for low power consumption, with a
short range (power class-dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters,
100 meters) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in
each device
