3. What we used the technology
for
We used the film camera to film our initial shots. The film
camera was very useful as it helped us throughout the process
of our production. It helped us obtain clear and sharp shots.
After Effects was used to create the title credits of our film. It
also helped us present our titles in a fashionable way that
conformed to the horror genre, by adding different transitions to
make them more appealing to our target audience.
Premiere Pro played an important role in the editing of our film.
This is because we edited each clip individually by cutting and
adding transitions e.g. fading them, so they can flow
continuously. We also used it to edit sound and place them in
the right order.
We used Online Logo Maker to create our logo for our own
production company.
4. Usefulness
Each technology we used was very useful to us during the
process of production and editing, as it helped us achieve a
high standard final piece. Moreover, it enabled us to become
creative with our film, as it helped us conform to the horror
genre conventions.
Furthermore, during this process we have developed a range
of technical skills that we can use elsewhere in the future.
