iMovie taught me basic editing
skills but it was Final Cut
Express that we used for our
opening sequence as it had
more features available.
I am hoping to learn about more
features within the software to
make the music video have
some very clever editing.

We did 9 frame analysis’ and
deconstruction of titles on
different movie openings, in
order to study the conventions
of the different genres.
Creativity

portfolio imaginative and unique
or did you adhere to
conventions?
We deliberately stuck to the
conventions in order to keep
the stereotype going as we felt
this would be a good idea.
This helped make the movie
genre more recognizable to the
target audience.
I am currently unsure whether
or not I will stick to conventions
in my music video or differ for
uniqueness.
