The student used various media technologies at different stages of their magazine project. During construction, they used Adobe InDesign to create templates, Adobe Photoshop to edit images, and Adobe Audition to edit audio. They also used a digital camera, the internet to find fonts and sounds, and social media. During research, their main tool was the internet to learn conventions and software skills from tutorials. They also used local government websites. For planning, they used an iPhone scanning app, YouTube tutorials, a WordPress blog, and Survey Monkey. Finally, for evaluation they created PowerPoint and Prezi presentations and uploaded them to their blog.

He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Instructions for Submissions thorugh G- Classroom.pptxJheel Barad

3. • Adobe Indesign proved itself to be a very useful and versatile
software. I created the template for all of the pages (front
cover, contents page, double page spread) in my magazine
using the resources in Adobe InDesign. This was the main
software I used out of all of them and the one that I used the
most. I also created my billboard advert in InDesign so that I
could move all the image and text freely.
• I used a Pentax x-5 digial camera to take my pictures and put
them on a computer.
Construction
4. Construction
• I manipulated the image of my model using Adobe
Photoshop. In Photoshop I cut the main image out from the
background image so that only my model remained.
5. • For the creation of my my radio advert I used Adobe
audition to manipulate the sounds of the voices in my
radio advert and to put them all together. This was
achieved by layering all of the voices and sound effects
over each other.
Construction
6. • I also used the Internet lots during the construction stage
of my coursework as I downloaded the masthead fonts for
my magazine and billboard advert from dafont.com which
is a free font website. I also used the internet to find
suitable sound effects for my radio advert.
• I used social media such asthroughout my coursework so
that I could organise myself and my model and voice
actors.
Construction
8. • The main technology that I used for the research stage of my
product was the Internet. Without the use of the Internet I
would not know what the conventions of a regional magazine,
billboard poster, or radio advert are.
• I would also not know how to use
software's such as InDesign or
Photoshop to the extent that I do
now, watching tutorials on also helped
me with time management because it
allowed me to finish tasks quicker.
Research
9. • I used local government websites so that I could learn
more about my target audience and demographic. This
was very helpful because it allowed me to make
decisions about my magazine, radio advert, and
billboard advert.
Research
11. • I used an app called iScanner on my iPhone to
scan in a brainstorm of magazine ideas that I did
on paper and the whiteboard.
• I used YouTube to look at tutorials on how to use
software's such as Adobe Photoshop and
InDesign before I used them so I would know how
to use it efficiently.
Planning
12. • I used my Blog on Wordpress too gather and make
sense of all the information I gathered, and to also
keep track of what I needed to do.
Planning
13. • To plan the name of my magazine I used the free online survey
website called Survey Monkey to create a survey and distribute
it online.
Planning
15. • For the evaluation stage I
used Microsoft power point
and then uploaded it to my
wordpress blog through the
use of slideshare
• I also used the emaze, an
online presentation service
for an evaluation question.
• I also used the online website
Prezi to present one of my
evaluation questions because
I felt that it would make my
presentations more
interesting and add variety to
my blog.
• In the evaluation stage the
final media technology I used
was my wordpress blog to
post all of my evaluation
questions in one place. A
video of this can be seen in
the next slide.
