- 3. EFFECTIVENESS OF DIGIPAK AND MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENT I believe that I have created synergy especially between the Digipak and Magazine advertisement. This was done in my ancillary tasks by using the same black and white colour scheme as well as the same fonts throughout the products. This allows the audience to immediately make a connection between the two products as they are very similar in style. After speaking with the band I found that they wanted their advertisements to look authentic and with the use of the film camera I was able to make a product that emulated their visions.
- 4. LINK WITH MAIN PRODUCT My ancillary tasks do not directly relate to the music video and through speaking with the band we felt like the black and white colour scheme suited the print advertisements and would not fit right into the main product. The marquee point of the video was the narrative and we wanted that to remain the USP of the video which would not be transferred to the print products. Overall, I think that the combination of these products is very effective as it allowed me to create three different types of products each with their own unique style. However, creating synergy was key to creating an easily-identifiable product and therefore I made sure that the Digipak and Magazine advertisement had synergy between the products to create a clear and distinctive link with the ancillary tasks.
