Blogger, IMDB, YouTube, Empire magazine, and iMovie were vital resources used in creating products for a college course project. Blogger allowed communication and updates between group members working on different schedules. IMDB and YouTube provided inspiration from other trailers and movies as well as music. Empire magazine influenced the design of a magazine cover. iMovie was used to edit video and add effects to create a movie trailer. InDesign helped design magazine covers and posters for consistency across projects.

2.  Blogger was a vital part of the creation of our
products.
 We needed it to complete ancillary tasks
outside college hours and to communicate
if a member of the group was unable to come in.
 This then made is easier for each of the projects to be
updated and completed within time and to supply
enough information about what we did and how we did it.
 We used blogger to show and tell what we did each time
we progressed inside a topic.

3.  IMDB and YouTube was a significant part of the creation on
our trailer. The two sites put together gave us videos, other
trailer to influence us by and music that polished off our trailer.
 IMDB was our main influence at the beginning of our project.
Looking at movie trailers, posters and magazine covers
helped us see the way other major corporate companies
related their subjects with synergy, giving us a sight on what
to achieve.
 YouTube gave us the ability to supply our trailer with the right
genre of music by looking at multiple YouTube accounts
continuously.
 Not only this but YouTube helped us create new methods of
showing what we done and how we done it. We uploaded the
video and then moved it on to our blog.

4.  Empire helped during the making of the magazine cover.
This is a major influence as this is the biggest movie
magazine across the globe. Its such a recognisable
company that massive movies produced by major
conglomerate industries will appear on the front cover.
 From here, we decided to base the magazine on the
harry potter feature as the image is similar to what we
already had.

5.  Imovie was the major programme throughout this entire
project. We created our trailer on this programme and
was able to insert sound, slow clips up and/or down,
crop frames and other multiple positives.
 We also created a realistic certification
screen at the beginning of our movie by
inserting ‘Text’ and changing the colour of
the background.

6.  These two programmes were used in the production and
making of the magazine and poster covers.
 We used InDesign for the designing and making of every
sentence and word that we used in each ancillary task.
This then was easier to keep the synergy level with each
of the tasks.
 After we completed each project we saved them as a
.jpg and therefore was easier to upload onto the blog.

7.  We used multiple other sorts of media to
create the trailer and to record feedback from
other peers.
 These products not only helped us with
the actual production of the projects
but also to help us get to that stage. We took
images of the area which then helped us
gather enough information to begin shooting.
