4. Here is my film poster alongside a still of my film teaser
trailer. As you can clearly see I have incorporated a still
from my teaser trailer into my film poster, this links the two
products well creating that brand identity that my target
audience will want to see and then see this, hopefully iconic
image of my film around their local town or city.
I have also used the credits in both my end scene of my
teaser trailer and my film poster, this is however, a
common thing to do for films to give credit to the
actors, directors and anyone else involved. Another link
I have made is the font of the title of the film the
design and colour are the same throughout my teaser
trailer, poster and magazine. This is re-enforcing my
brand identity and also incorporating that iconic image
with this font.
Also the awards shown in the
teaser trailer have been
incorporated into my film poster
to make people believe this film
be a good film, wanting to go see
it and see it as a success.
5. I have used a lot of link to my magazine from my
teaser trailer. For example, the ‘free posters’ I
have used are stills and photos I took from the
teaser trailer, I have done this so that my target
audience will want to collect these posters and
want to see the film as they have all these
posters of the film in their room. Another link I
have incorporated into both the teaser trailer and
magazine front cover is the clothing my main
character is wearing as he is wearing that same
jacket in the magazine front cover as he is in the
dramatic scene in the teaser trailer.
Again I have used the title design and
font of the film in both magazine front
and teaser trailer, in the final scene.
However, integrated the sky backdrop in
the teaser trailer, magazine front cover
and film poster, giving that brand
identity.
6. There was a few things that I could link
into all three tasks, such as the title of
the film, It’s design and colour produce a
brand identity that my target audience will
recognise whenever they see it and instantly
connect the title with the film. Also the
colour of two images and clips in the teaser
trailer are all dark and anonymous,
conforming to the genre of drama, giving it
that tense feeling throughout. The backdrop
in not only the magazine cover and film
poster it is also in a lot of scenes in my
teaser trailer again keeping to the brand
identity and linking this tense drama film
to the gloomy clouds in my teaser trailer.
My main character is wearing very similar
clothing throughout the trailer and also
shown in the magazine cover that same
jacket, this makes the audience possibly
want to buy the jacket in association with
the film.
