The document discusses feedback received on various promotional materials created for a fictional artist named Kyla.
For the digipak, feedback indicated it lacked variety and didn't sufficiently showcase the artist. Revisions included adding more photos of Kyla and changing backgrounds.
Initial poster feedback noted the writing was unclear. Revisions made the text bolder and more prominent.
Early cuts of the music video were too short to provide meaningful feedback. After further editing, a full cut received positive comments about structure and transitions. Teacher feedback also led to additional shooting to enhance the ending.

2. Audience feedback is really a crucial element of the production
process. As the feedback can help towards constructing an improved
final product.
The main way in which my group and I gained feedback was from
screening our music video to our class. Also individually we showed
them our digipaks and posters. Showing my texts to class is helpful as
they are within the target age range for my artist.
3. DIGIPAK FEEDBACK
I got a lot of constructive feedback for my digipak, looking at it
now I see that it doesn’t look finished or professional, so
showing it to my class really helped me to get a polished
product. The feedback they mainly said was that I need a
“variety of shots to show off my artist” more.
The top three panels of my digipak are the ones that changed
the most, to feature more of the artist; to meet the demands of
the record label. I changed the lyric book from palm trees to a
picture of Kyla. Also the two disc panels to make the pictures
of Kyla to stand out, I chose a lighter colour scheme than the
darker purple one. I also changed the background pictures to
both beaches rather than having one of Florida city.
I think that in my final version of the digipak all the panels fit
together well and has a professional look, and this is due to
feedback I received.

4. POSTER FEEDBACK
Comments from showing my poster was that the writing wasn’t clear
and didn’t stand out. On the mac where I was working it was clear but
seeing the poster from a different situation the writing wasn’t noticeable.
Another issue was the social media links, because of the writing
problem it just looked like the icons with no handles and didn’t fit in with
the colour scheme of the poster.
My finished poster is a successful promotional text, the writing is bold
and advertises ‘I Do’ and the artist name Kyla, as these are two main
things an audience would recognise

5. We screened our music video twice to the class. The first time we had a
rough cut of a minute of footage. So although the class could imagine
the vision we had for the rest of the video it wasn’t enough for them to
critique. From this I learnt that as a group we had to be more focused
on editing the video. As previously we had all been editing here and
there, but after it was mainly Emily who edited the video with assistance
from the rest of us.
For the second and final screening we had a full video and got positive
comments from the class. With hardly any suggestions for changes .
For example some of the comments received were “really nice
transitions” “good clean structure”
Prior to this second screening we showed the video to our teacher, who
suggested we do one more shoot of different projections. Without this
feedback our video would have been quite dull towards the end so it
was really crucial to the project.
