This document evaluates the structural implications of incorporating base isolators as earthquake protection devices in buildings, emphasizing seismic isolation techniques in Bangladesh. The study analyzes different building designs with and without base isolators, showing that isolators increase building performance during earthquakes by reducing resonance and internal forces. Despite higher initial costs, the use of base isolators is presented as an economically and structurally advantageous alternative for buildings, particularly up to 40 meters in height.
