Gender: Mainly female but males also.
Age: 17-23
Music preferences: Indie, rock, Hip-hop, alternative pop.
Typically shops at: Topshop/Topman, Lazy Oaf, Zara, Urban Outfitters,
Vintage
Above is pictures of my target representing the clothes they would wear and the
subculture/type of music they would listen to. Common features in the colours are
muted colours including pink, yellow and blue as well as neutral tones: black and
white. They represent brands such as Doc Marten and Fila. They are fans of body art
such as tattoos and have an interest in photography and capturing their favourite
moments. Its common for males to have long hair.
WHY THE TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD WANT TO
BUY AND READ AURA MAGAZINE…
The target audience will want to buy the magazine because it relates topics
of their interest for example the music, styling and topics of discussion.
The magazine identifies with their subculture as well as the artists
featured within the magazine. A big focus of Aura is to also introduce
new things and ideas , by reading the magazine the target audience can
become influenced by other peoples ideas, making them the trend
starters. As well as this Auras online presence on social media will
attract and get the target audience talking as they will interact with it.
