2. Preproduction
In preproduction I researched different kinds of Psychological
Horror films, films that are similar to the idea of our film, such
as The Shining, as that is also a psychological horror.
We also took into consideration who are target audience is, I
think our film is a 15+ due to strong violence.
3. Production
In production we used a Panasonic h-cv270 to record
our film.
We used props, such as fake blood, in order to add a
realistic blood effect, to give the audience a
suggestion that something bad has happened
4. Postproduction
In postproduction we used a editing software called
‘Adobe Premiere Pro’, we edited visual effects and
connecting the clips together.
We also edited sound, such as voiceovers and music.
We used these technologies to add quality to our
films, they’re also convenient for student/travel use,
based on its size.
5. What technology did you use at each
stage?
We used, YouTube, to view trailers of other Psychological
Horror films. Google to research our genre and to find out
what age group our film would be suitable for.
We used Celtexts to write our script,
as it allowed us to clearly view our script.
We used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit
6. What were less successful?
Our camera was ideal for our film, but wasn’t all that
great at focusing
Sometimes whilst recording we’d pick up on some
background noise, such as wind and cars.
7. What have you learnt?
How to use Blogger
I have learnt how to record a film, using Panasonic h-cv270.
How to edit our film on Adobe Premiere Pro.
