2. Throughout the process of research and planning, I felt that our
group used programs such as word and notepad for jotting down
ideas to do with our film or film related blog posts. We used paper
as well to note down ideas, in which photos were taken of them
and put on our blogs. We used blogger to complete a range of
tasks, such as analysing other films and researching film age
ratings to assist us when we made our film. Additionally, when
planning our film, we did a lot of research on Google and YouTube
to find out ideas that we could incorporate into our film, such as
movie trailers and recipes for fake blood. Moreover, we produced
storyboards that we could follow and produced spider diagrams
on various key aspects of our film to ensure that the actual
process would work well.
3. Throughout our filming process we used different types of
cameras such as a DSLR Hybrid, a Sony Fisheye camera and
various smartphones. The DSLR was the main camera however, we
used Fisheye camera for the dragging scene and the smartphones
for behind the scenes. We also used cling film and tarpaulin to
assist us with the dragging scene, to ensure the camera didn’t get
ruined and we had a good effect. For the editing process, we used
Camtasia Studios, so we could compile all of the clips and edit
them in an effective way with the assistance of Photoshop for
creating a filter for our film. For other projects and evaluation
questions, we used Moviemaker and Audacity, so we could either
record audio for a voiceover or compile a series of video clips. On
the other hand, we would use Prezi or PowerPoint for other blog
post or evaluation questions to do with our film as they were
more visually appealing.

assist our filmmaking
5. DLSR Hybrid Camera: For recording the majority of shots for our
film due to its high quality, used with the tripod and handheld
for some of the tracking shots
Sony Fisheye Camera: Used for the final few shots in our film to
emphasize the feel of the dragging scene to make it seem more
real
Tripod: Used when filming with the DSLR Camera for most
shots, so they could be steady and clear
Smartphones: iPhone and Sony, for filming behind the scenes
shots and recording audience interviews
Storyboards: So we could easily follow which shots we had to do
next, which helped us throughout the process.
Tarpaulin and Cling Film: Used to assist us for the dragging
scene at the end
