2. Sketches To start creating designs, I
sketched some brand ideas
out on paper. Basing the idea
on a new innovative energy
drink brand. I drew ideas on
paper, then scanned them
into the computer.
Then I used photoshop to
adjust how clear they were, so
I was able to use these
sketches effectively to expand
my designs.
3. Can design
I used a template of a can from the internet, then
placed it onto photoshop. Then added my name
design to it. I cut the lid and base of the can off to
give it the realistic effect of a can, remaining
silver/metal. Then placed it back on once the name
was on it. I made to different coloured cans to
represent regular and diet, but kept the same
design.
4. Name design
I sketched the original idea up on paper then selected
this one and typed it into dafont. I then worked off
that, altering and editing it in
photoshop. I added; Colours,
pictures within the letters and
brush to create the electric sparks.
I also added the symbol with the
fire effect into the background of
the word.
6. Brochure Design
I used brushes for the background of the front cover of my
brochure. Then I added my own photography into it of the
lights to give the effect of electricity/sparks. I also got
someone to use a van der graff generator to show the power
of electricity, but then replaced it with my can.
7. Designing the brochure
This brush has been added
into photoshop and the layer
style has been altered to
‘linear dodge’ to blend into
the black background for a
sharper and bolder effect.
