2. Q2. How does your media product represent particular
social groups?
My media product represents particular social groups like , people who like
RnB music , I think it’s genre is teenage girls and boys , mostly girls as there
is a female artist for the front cover and the color scheme for my front cover
,contents page and article is red black and white. People who like RnB music
would be interested in this magazine , As it is a mixture of boys and girls in
the magazine I think the ages 15-18 would buy the magazine. In certain
magazines RnB Is shown as quite rough and to do with violence and crime
but in my magazine I have shown RnB in a positive way , By the colors I
have used and The clothes the female and male artists are wearing I would
say that they are very fashionable and young artists. RnB can be shown
positively and negatively, I have chosen to show it in a very
positive way , my color theme of my magazine is very bold dark colors
but at the same time bright colors that are bright and are eye catching.
I think that my RnB artists are shown as friendly , fun and in control , as
They are meant to be new artists so they are shown as quite new and
Shown they are bringing new music , by the way they look and dress it
is almost as if the artists are bringing a new kind of RnB for the
audience.
3. How have you represented them in your front cover?
In my Front cover my artist is a female RnB artist and is
shown , My artist is shown as a fashionable artist , In
the Image she has had her hair and make-up done ,
which shows she is an outgoing type of girl , At the
bottom of my front cover it has the words “The World’s
Best Music” which indicates that the artist think she is
better than most RnB artist and as the cover is called
unique , It tells us that the artist is trying to persuade
the readers that she is the next best and big thing and
that he provides the readers with the best RnB music.
4. How have you represented them in your
contents page?
In my Contents page There are a lot of images ( 7) Two of them are Big
Popular RnB Artists to show that the magazine is RnB , One picture is
what you can find inside the magazine and It is a picture of the female
artist on the front cover , In the editors letter there is a picture of the
editor and also I have a male artist on the magazine which is also
supposed to be inside my Magazine. The female and male artists are
shown as fashionable , well dressed , the male artist looks rich , I think
you can tell that the genre is RnB by the way the artists are dressed and
the artists look 18-21 so this tells us who the magazine is aimed it ,
teenagers.
5. How have you represented them in your
Article?
In my article the image is of the male artist that is also on my contents page , I only
have one main image on the right hand side , On the left hand side I have my
question and answer interview , the image is of the artist I am interviewing , The
audience can automatically tell that the genre is RnB , The Artist is shown as a new
RnB artist but is the big and best. I have shown this artist is well dressed ,
hardworking , popular and also The quote on the image shows that the artist
motivates people.
