2. Gon And Killua Short Story
With Killua s intimidating presence and the roadblocks, if you call them that, dwindling in challenge
the three were able to fly through the rest of the Ruin s chambers. After a while, Flowey stopped them
in a room vastly different from what the rest of the Ruins had to offer, he motioned for Gon to set him
down.
This is the first room of the Ruins, if you go further you ll end up at the entrance to the Underground.
So where we fell down?
You got it, just be careful of the big monster. See ya! Flowey plunged underground while Gon and
Killua practically skidded down the slabs of marbles. As they passed through the exit, darkness caved
in on them, their only guide to navigate through the blackness were the few patches of land light from

HEHEHAHA! The pellets began closing in on Gon and Killua with the openings too small to escape it
was an utterly inescapable trap.
Gon, we have to figure a way out of this and quick!
Gon stepped back to face Killua. Killua...don t be mad at me, okay? He said, his usual cheerful tone
was drenched in such a level of seriousness that completely threw Killua off guard. He didnt even
have the chance to open his mouth, before being pushed him onto the ground.
Gon positioned his body over Killua, his shadow covering his chest and eyes locked onto Killua s
soul. His soul is slightly bigger than mine...no, I can t think about that right now, I have to focus on
this! Gon submerged himself in a protective layer of aura. Can you...manage to get underground and
stop Flowey? He mustered, despite his best efforts, the pellets clawed through Gon s defense and
pounded his skin raw.
Though Gon s words trembled from the sheer amount of pain he was shouldering, his eyes stood
strong and passionate. Killua understood exactly what Gon was doing for him, yet he couldn t stand it
all at the same time. Of course I can. Killua s hand sharpened and he began chopping away at the
hardened dirt beneath them. I really don t deserve someone like him to be by my

4. Morality of Today Essay
Olympian morality was potent in ancient Greek society yet it is incomplete by today s moral standards
of what is acceptable. Modern morality is not only taught through actions, stories or experiences
however constructed by the feelings within. In both, The Iliad and the Hesiod, external actions are the
most important however, without logos, a look into the soul no decisions are made by choice. Eris, the
force of pulling apart and Eros, the force of pushing together were vital pieces in the aspect of
morality through traditional Greek society. Ancient morality combined with natural science and logos
creates a balance that allows for perfect moral structure. Olympian morality was built upon the aspect
that the Gods determined human existence ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Socrates believed that justice and desire could not be determined without reason and logic (Reno).
Going along with Socrates ideas, Eris and Eros can be confined in the soul but the structure of
Olympian morality will never be destroyed. Destroying Eris would also destroy Eros and not only
would no bad exist, but nothing good would exist either. Therefore the Sophist s mentality could never
become the mentality in which society is driven by. If all good and bad were removed from society
there would be nothing to fuel desires, hopes, dreams, hardships or emotions. Preluding to the Trojan
War, Helen is always property. Never once is choice an option of Helens. She is given as a prize, a
trophy, to the one who will triumph over the other (Homer). No one considered asking Helen what she
truly desired; therefore to settle the issue, men were killed in warfare to come to a conclusion that
should have been determined by choice. Women were not deemed important figures in ancient society
and men ruled the world in which they lived. Until Socratic ideals, one can say that women were only
the property of men. Socrates tried to explore the world of femininity and discover the soul; he was
killed for believing that there is more to an individual then what the divine interprets (Plato s
Apology). Unlike ancient times, a war of nations would not break out over a romantic conflict because
women and men can choose whom they love. Logic has allowed modern

5. Essay On Summer Vacation
Summer of 2017 was probably my best summer so far. I went to my dream place and somewhere else
I have heard so much about! Before this vacation, I was so excited and I thought this place was going
to be all movie stars and celebrities, but I was wrong. Over the summer I went to Los Angeles,
California and Las Vegas Nevada. Now, I am not telling you about two different trips, this was all in
one trip. On August fifth, 2017 we drove two hours to Indianapolis and got on a plane to go to
California. The flight was about four hours, three hours and fifty eight minutes to be exact. We had
first class. My dad and sister sat next to each other and my mom and I sat next to each other. Once we
landed at the airport in Los Angeles, we had to get our suitcases and our rental car. Getting our
suitcases took about forty five minutes and getting the car rental took about an hour and a half. Once
we got to our hotel, it was ten o clock p.m. their time, Twelve o clock a.m. our time. We were all
hungry because even though we had food on the plane, most of us didn t eat it. So we ordered pizza
and went to bed. The next day, we went to the Walk of Fame and saw all the movie stars names on the
stars. We also went on some tours, such as TM Z. TM Z was probably my favorite thing we did there,
it was so much fun! We also went to the Chinese Theater museum and went to go see the Hollywood

6. Cause And Effect Analysis Of My Last Duchess
Cause and Effect Analysis of My Last Duchess
Communication to a relationship is like oxygen to life. Without it ... it dies. (Gaskins). Communication
is the bridge that develops good understanding between two people, without that bridge there is no
understanding, without the understanding there is no trust. Without communication, understanding and
trust, there is no love, the relationship is dead. This quote correlates to the overall theme in the poem
My Last Duchess by Robert Browning; and how a communication can have a major impact in one s
relationship/ marriage. There is a duke that is on a search for a new wife, but he talks about a paint of
his dead wife and how his wife was very flirtatious to a complete stranger. The cause of the duke and
duchess unsuccessful marriage was the lack of communication, arrogant self pride and his controlling
self nature. Ultimately, no one should ever judge someone without knowing the whole story. One may
think that they understand, but they do not.
My Last Duchess proves how the lack of communication can lead to an unsuccessful marriage. The
duke was always misunderstanding the duchess character due to the lack of communication. This is
can be proven when the duke says With anybody s gift. Who d stoop to blame This sort of trifling? at
the end of the poem. This question was both asked and answered by the duke. What he means is: who
would bother to question the duchess on her inappropriate behaviour and he replied no one. This
proves that there was no open communication between the husband and wife. The duke was not being
honest with his wife which lead to the failure in his marriage. Since, there was no communication
between the duke and duchess, their marriage lacked of understanding which is illustrated when the
duke says Her husband s presence only called that spot Of joy into the Duchess cheek: . because the
duke was not conveying his feelings to the duchess, even when she smiled to show her polite nature,
he misunderstood that as flirting. It is clear that he kept misjudging her because he did not honestly
communicate with her, so therefore he did not get to know her. He did not know much about their
character
The duke was born in a family with a

questionable but not the topic of my essay, rather what Alistair peck does with his interactions with

g d until later in life. Once Walter realized that he had done something wrong he started to ask
forgiveness from g d in the form of a white tulip. Interesting that he chose a white tulip? The white
tulip has several significant meanings, the most significant one being forgiveness. Obvious that Walter
is asking for forgiveness and the flower represents what he asks for the most. Interesting enough the
flower also symbolizes love, innocence, and rebirth. Could the flower be a reminder to Walter that he
did what he did because he loved his son, and though what he did was completely innocent. Walter
could also be looking for new rebirth of love and a relationship between him and his son. Is it fair to
claim for Walter to claim innocence though, after all he knew what he was doing when he was doing
he made the choice to travel through time. I think while what he did was wrong he was making the
steps to correct it and looking for forgiveness, but he wanted a sign from g d and this is where Alistair
comes in. Alistair, who kills people every time he goes through time and justifies it by stating that
when he goes back for his fiancé they will

Escrima
The history of the Philippines stretches all the way back as far as 900 AD. Examining the history of
the Philippines, it s clear that martial arts have always been an essential part of the Filipino culture.
Many different cultures and migrants influenced the martial arts of the Philippines. Escrima has had a
long and savage history, dating back to 1521 when Spanish rule first came to the Philippine Islands.
Before colonization by Spain, Escrima was taught as a recreational activity, along with reading,
writing, religion and Sanskrit. The Spaniards had a hard time imposing their rule on the inhabitants

Rastafarianism is a fascinating world religion that began in the 1930s in Jamaica. This movement was

Transfiguration of America Through Road Novels Flaming Iguanas by Erika Lopez and The Road by
Cormac McCarthy critiques America, while transgressing heteronormativity and modifying mobility
and identity. Traveling west is an adventure and an opportunity to discover oneself, it is also an
extension to exercise one s freedom. As a woman,Tomato Rodriguez travels across the country to see
his dad in California. Being on the road transgresses the meaning of the road, whilst inventing one s
identity. It is a space to develop a bond that is of mutual respect, sustained by love. In Flaming
Iguanas the road is presented as a means of escape and reassertion. Tomato escapes domestication,
common societal beliefs that are placed on women. As a bisexual, chicano woman on the road she is
transgressing heteronormativity. In previous road novels the road is a place for white hetero men
having an adventure. Tomato exercises her new found identity when she consummates with the
Canadian John, challenging double standards that are placed on women. She writes if you re a woman
traveling alone people will instantly want to kill you , she is not scared to challenge these myths and
exercise her freedom, as a woman on the road (111). As a pioneer in heteronormativity, she has set a
path in which she does not conform to society s ideals, ultimately mending gender norms for others.

Today s standard is to somehow sexualize maturing girls at a young age so that they have more of a
passion for putting themselves out there. Also part of the problem would be the parents. The parents
are supposed to keep the children in check. If the parents dress as promiscuous as the children then it
is not helping the problem. The media also plays a huge role. Current fashion trends and celebrities
play into the hand that is pornography.
Some current statistics are pornographic websites make up for 12% of all websites, that s 4.2 million.
90% of 8 16 year olds have viewed porn online, most while doing homework. Over 40 million adults
access porn everyday. It s easy to see with these statistics no one is safe from the hypnotic trance that
is pornography.
It s normal for a man or a woman to lust after the opposite sex but with pornography it becomes
unhealthy. This is so because it s all you want to watch, other people having intercourse with other
people. Adults and/or kids escape to this world because they themselves can t have a normal, healthy
relationship with someone. It s easy to stumble upon the material with the internet around but its
accessibility to kids it s an easily controlling addiction.
What makes pornography so bad is not just the addiction but the actions performed. It is the sexual
submissive, degradation of women through pictures and/or words. When women called themselves
names like slut or whore it a problem.

17. Women s Dress And Dress
Introduction
France in the 18th witnessed a huge modification in the aesthetic standard in dress for women,
whether in terms of material, style and appearance (Rothstein, 1999: 2). French fashion had
successively experienced several distinctive stages. For instance, Rococo (luxury court style showing
femininity, slimness and mannerism) was in stark contrast to the Baroque (characteristic with dignity
and elegance). However, since the 1870s, the Enlightenment and the French Evolution had exerted a
profound effect on the women s dress in France. In this way, this essay intends to review the
development of women s dress and draw a contrast with the English dress within the same era.
Critical Review of Sources
Generally speaking, French fashion was in ascendency throughout the Europe, which received
extensive attention about all respects concerning French women s dress and French fashion.
The robe volante in the 1730s well displayed the overall loose shape, which, however, failed to
represent the most distinctive feature of the huge flounce as well as pleats on the back. Moreover, the
understructure was also not clearly shown and introduced. The Mantua in 1708 well displayed the
design, materials, colours and patterns, which corresponded to the dress at that time. However, the
colourful silk and well as other design details made it seem more likely to be the characteristics of the
Rococo. The Robe a la francaise in from 1775 1800 showed the changes in women s dress

It is to be noted that despite of using all these methods for removing rectal tags, be it cosmetic
procedure or home remedies, it is very important to maintain proper hygiene without which these skin
anal tags might get infected.
Are anal tags the cause of any health complications?
No, as already mentioned above anal tags are harmless, but if they get ruptured from anal intercourse
or by passing a hard stool, they can get infected which can further lead to lots of health complications.
Although they are not contagious but if they gets inflamed, or gets injured they can take serious

22. Examples Of Transcendentalism In A Utopian Society
Everlast Fellowship: A Utopian Society
Transcendentalism, a concept that was coined and risen to the mainstream way of thinking in the early
19th century. Transcendentalism is an enlightenment ideal influenced by earlier philosophers such as:
John Locke, Jean Jacques Rousseau, etc. Essentially, transcendentalist thinkers are similar to modern
cult organizations, per se, finding one s guidance through human intuition. With that said,
transcendentalism is a key in developing a basis for a strong utopia.
Firstly, defining the perception of a strong utopia would be different for every thinker, but if the
process works you use it. Equality and conformity are two notions commonly confused in terms of a
dream utopia. Equality is not necessarily ideal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Firstly, everyone must contribute to the economy in some shape or form. Whether that be

a third degree felony or lower (according to United States government), you will be given a fine with

exile awaits the offender. Murder and abuse will be not tolerated and will result to immediate exile.
The purpose of this system is to keep crime rates at a low, knowing the consequences will do so, thus
keeping the society safe for the residents. Lastly, admittance will rely on your status in your previous

23. The Effects Of Russian Culture On Military Operations
The Effects of Russian Culture on Military Operations in That Region
Introduction
Understanding a country s culture as it pertains to military operations is highly important in the
modern era. Dictionary.com defines culture as the behaviors and beliefs characteristic of a particular
social, ethnic, or age group . There are many examples throughout history that show the negative
consequences of ignoring or misunderstanding the cultures of other countries. The most recent
example is our long sustained operations in the Middle East. We have operated in the Middle East for
the better part of two and a half decades. Through our own successes and failures, it is obvious how
important cultural awareness can be. The mistakes we have made have created more animosity
towards our military and our country in general. Over the last decade, our government has worked
continuously to understand and teach those lessons to our service members. Through those efforts, we
have been able to win over many of the hearts and minds that we lost during the early part of the 1990
s and 2000 s. Continuing these practices in the future, with countries such as Russia, will allow us to
overcome many of the mistakes and problems we have encountered in the past.
This paper is the culmination of my own personal thoughts and in no way reflects any official views
or opinions of the United States government. As you move from topic to topic, I hope you begin to

24. How Career Is A Successful Internship
How to Accomplish a Successful Internship
For a college student, internship experience not only broadens one s horizons, but it also enriches one
s resume. For me, an internship is a good way to apply what I ve learned at school to professional
experience. While we students are seeking internship opportunities to qualify ourselves for good job
positions, figuring out what we have obtained from internship experience and preparing for future
internships or jobs is even more important.
The book They Don t Teach Corporate in College gives me instructions of how to follow a successful
career path. While combining my personal internship experience with what I learned from the book, I
have a better understanding of how to prepare, pursue and finally accomplish a successful internship.
To begin with, you need to know about yourself. Figuring out your strengths and weaknesses can help
you find suitable fields and relevant jobs quickly and accurately. I once worked as an assistant for a
financial accountant in the Trade and Finance Department at Bank of China. One of the reasons I got
the internship was because the department desired interns who had good English writing skills. While
I am an international student studying in America, the manager thought I had the skills. Therefore,
knowing about your skills and making the best use of them on your resumes can lead to internship
opportunities.

25. Character Analysis Of A Lesson Before Dying
PLOT: A Lesson Before Dying tells the story of Jefferson, a twenty one year old benighted black
fielder wrongfully implicated and convicted of the robbery and murder of a white man. He was
sentenced to death by electrocution. At his trial, Jefferson s court selected defense attorney contends
that Jefferson lacks the acumen to plan a robbery, and that, even if he had been involved in the killing,
sentencing him to death would be like putting an inconsequential dead man in the electric chair. In
rancor of this so called defense, the all white jury finds Jefferson guilty. To compound the horror of his
situation, Jefferson internalizes the attorney s racist depiction of him as a dead man.
STRUCTURE/FORM: The structure of this novel starts off from the middle of Jefferson s trial. The
main character is analyzing what is happening during the trial. The sections in the book are describing
in a very detailed manner what is happening from the five months in which the trial started to how it
ends. It was all a phenomenon. Lastly the last few chapters are when the narrator is teaching the
lessons in more detail to send out the message to the reader why this book he wrote is so informational
in many ways.
POINT OF VEIW/PERSPECTIVE: Although the author uses first person narration readers are not
bounded to Grant s point of view. Gaines has said that using a narrator who reports events as others
reveal them is one of the narrative devices he uses to get inside his characters heads without resorting
to omniscient (third person) narration. Much of the response in the novel occurs on an emotional level
rather than an objective level. Although we hear Grant s voice, the novel is ultimately Jefferson s
story.
MAIN CHARACTER: Grant Wiggins and Jefferson are the novel s dual protagonists. Their individual
survivals depend on their give and take support. Despite the fact that it is Jefferson s story, it is
narrated by Grant, with the exception of Chapter 29, in which Jefferson is finally adequate to tell his
story in his own voice, through his own diary. And although Grant has taken on the massive task of
making Jefferson a free, intelligent man, it becomes clear that Grant s destiny is totally intent to
Jefferson s.

These figures suggest that the future for WBD dairy lies with strategic customers, such as major
supermarkets.
Globalisation
With an increase in globalisation, continued growth in GDP (5% per annum), a decrease in
unemployment and increases in disposable income, the Russian consumer market continues to be
attractive to global players. In recent years, Marks and Spencer, Wal Mart , Anchan and other Global
retail chains have looked to expand into Russia, however, of the 25 food retailers currently, only 6 are
International [02.].
Competitive forces
The sectors in which WBD operates (dairy, beverage and baby food) are attractive to companies and
offer the potential for significant growth (see Appendix C). A dominant force is the unique Russian
context acting as a barrier to entry for international companies, although they are overcoming this by
28. establishing production facilities in Russia (see Appendix C). The need for good distribution and
regional suppliers acts as a barrier to entry. The potential buying power of major retailers (eg. major
supermarkets) can put pressure on food producers and WBD is highly reliant on industry leaders
Cargill for supplying juice concentrate and Tetrapak for supplying packaging. The increasing demand
for premiumisation is putting pressure on Russian companies to improve quality due to the perception
that international companies offer higher quality (see Appendix

quot;Death is my wish for myself, my enemies, my children quot; (Euripedes translated by Robinson

other hand, the women and the nurse fear death. Death,to the women and to the nurse is something
that should not be wished for. quot;O shining sky, divine earth,

To a Greek woman death is personified as a hunter or killer. She uses an animal, the hawk,to compare
to death. A hawk is a swift predator that attacks unnoticed, but to Medea death is a trophy. For Medea
death has a value of importance. A friendship has been established. Death is Medea s friend. She uses
it as a weapon to get what she views as justice. quot; Then if you have a dog eyed enemy and needed
absolute vengeance . . . Unchild him, ha? And then unlife him quot;(23). Medea believed with great
depth to get vengeance upon Jason. She wanted to go through with her vengeance and hurt Jason as
Jason hurt her. Jason left Medea for another woman thus leaving her miserable and craving for
revenge. Thus, she went on taking the life of his bride to be and the life of their children. She also
wanted to wash herself from the impurities of Jason s touch. quot;Ah, rotten, rotten, rotten: death is
the only water to wash this dirt quot; (12). This is a metaphor for she compares death to a water, which
is a symbol of pureness, to cleanse herself. The nurse and women have almost pleaded to Medea not
to even think about death, but because of her resentment and hate towards Jason she is deaf to the
women s advice. The importance given to death by Medea is rejected by the women. Death would only

which Romans drew immense influence. The Romans picked up first on the Greek embrace of

But as rhetoric began to diminish from Roman daily life following Rome s imperialization, identical

The period of his writing is rightfully referred to as the Age of Cicero . Numerous others contributing
literature popularized Cicero s age as well. The general Julius Caesar and Historian Sallust made
important contributions to the circle. Caesar with detailed accounts of the Gallic and civil wars, and

of writing called lyric poetry also sprung to life in this period. The rule of the emperor Augustus
marked the beginning of a new more comfortable, more peaceful era for the people known as the Pax

the period s flowering literature. Augustus also actively encouraged writers, and they loved him and

Most of my pieces consisted of fanart or simple original pieces exploring inking styles. I admittedly
favored one series, Love Live!, over the others, but I was grateful for the inspiration. Some drawings I
practiced perspective and colors, like the first and fourth day respectively, others I tested styles of
shading and texture. Going from a pencil sketch, to simple lining, and finally to detailed inking was a
fulfilling experience.
I would finish inking the drawing for the day and quickly sketch an outline for the following day in
pencil. This schedule was helpful and time efficient since the most time consuming part of drawing is
figuring out what to draw and how to start it. However, I could only do this due to the leniency of my
school schedule and sparse amount of homework at that time. So when work started picking up at
school two weeks into October, it became a struggle to finish one day s drawing, not to mention
preparing for the following days.
The output and quality of my art in the middle of the month took a drop as I began studying for tests,
in class writings, and the PSAT. It was at this time that Inktober became a real challenge. Not only do
you have to plan and compose a drawing, but you have to manage your schedule and make time to do
so. Unlike professional artists or people with flexible jobs, students are hard pressed with their school

38. Analysis Of Film Production Of The Merchant Of Venice
Film Review
Michael Radford s 2004 film production of The Merchant of Venice provides a well executed and
generally faithful rendition of Shakespeare s play. Radford s production especially succeeds in both its
casting and set design that elevates the mood and drama contained in Shakespeare s text. In addition to
the filming, particular attention was taken to following the original text, but some interesting in
liberties in plot details were taken. Radford s production serves as an exemplar of film adaptions of
Shakespeare s play; it takes the challenge of adapting the text to the screen with excellent casting, bold
filming, and well imagined sets. Jeremy Irons as Antonio, the merchant, gives a convincing mix of
optimism converted to pessimism as he prepares for his death in the court. Perhaps the best casting, Al
Pacino plays an excellent Shylock that initially invokes the movie watcher s empathy then turns
quickly into an enraged, psychopathic persona reminiscent to his characters in Scarface or Godfather.
Particularly, Pacino shows off his talent in the famous Hath not a Jew eyes monologue where Pacino
takes us through a full emotional range of compassion, sympathy, to scorching rage. Similarly,
Radford uses this scene to show off his directorial chops: the scene uses a follow shot in which the
camera follows Pacino s character as he crosses the dark Venetian streets, through a brothel to find
Antonio s comrades, and back into the streets where the heart of his

Introduction
Prostate cancer (PCa), the development of cancer in the prostate, is one of the most mortal diseases
that threaten men s lives in current world. It is the most commonly diagnosed non skin cancer in the
United States, and it is second leading cause of cancer deaths in American men. Autopsy series have
revealed that small prostatic carcinomas are present in up to 64 percent of men from 60 to 70 years of
age. [1] Most prostate cancers are slow growing, and it causes no symptoms in early stages. Thus,
most patients are found in advanced stage. Older age, race and family background of the disease are
three main factors to increase the risk of the disease. A few other factors are linked to increase the
disease including dietary, medication exposure, viral and sexual factors.
Nanotechnology is a novel technology what generally deals with structures and systems with a size
less than 100nm. [1] Due to its unique tiny size, the properties are quite different from bulk properties
include physical properties, chemistry properties, biological properties. For example, gold in bulk
form is inert, but in nano scale, it tends to be very active. Moreover, different sizes, structures, and
surface areas of gold nanoparticles make it exhibit different colors.

40. Explain What Causes The Change In Heart Rate And Pulse Rate
What causes the change in heart rate and pulse rate with exercise is that during exercise, it requires the
heart to pump more blood out to specific organs at a faster rate in order for the organs to send the
necessary amount of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles involved in exercise so that they keep
working.
Heart rate equals pulse rate at rest and after exercise because blood flows towards the heart and radial
and carotid arteries at the same rate along the same pathway, or loop.
The change in cardiac cycle length with exercise affects heart muscle perfusion and time for
ventricular filling because since exercise calls for more blood to the muscles, the heart needs to pump
blood quickly at a faster rate. As the heart pumps faster, there

On June 3rd 1992 The Mabo decision changed lives of Aboriginals all around Australia. It was the

These manufacturers know that without the $7500 tax credit many customers would not have made
the move to an electric vehicle. Thus, automakers have prepared for this economic reality by rapidly

competitively priced against ICE cars without the need of tax credits or government incentives.
Current top model EVs are priced between $30000 $40000 and the battery pack currently makes up ¼
of that price. Between 2010 and 2016, battery pack costs were reduced 77% from $1000/kWh to

a faster pace annually than could have been expected. Companies are improving battery technology at
rapid rates and it looks like many manufacturers will be below the price parity level before their tax
credits phase out. Cheaper battery packs do more than

44. Structural Functionalism And Family Analysis
Structural Functionalism is a theory in sociology which states that each part of society is necessary for
the functioning of the social organism. There are several elements in the functionalist paradigm which
explain how society functions in order to maintain the social organism and keep it alive. These
elements of functionalisms are cohesion, integration, solidarity, and equilibrium. These elements
explain how society is divided into different functional parts, with each part depending on the next
adding up to the structural whole of society. Under the structural functional paradigm we see the
family structure which is viewed as a small social group which is related by blood Ancestor or
affection. Sharing common goals and values, they may live together and are involved in child rearing

The family is viewed mainly as the nuclear family as in mother, father, and children although the
family structure had changed over time with the extended family, single parent families and on word.
The family structure s main functions are reproduction, education, and the economy. Without these
functions society on a whole would not exist. In the case of education we place women in the role of
raising, nurturing, and educating the children with in the home instilling values and norms while the
father figure took on the role of being the financial provider, and providing security for the family. The
family structure plays a very important role as through reproduction the replace members, who have
dies, Socialization where they educate children on norms and values and how to carry themselves out
in society as functional individuals providing emotional, psychological and physical care for family
members. If these needs are not met within the family structure according the structural functional
theory the family is said to be dysfunctional. The Family is our back bone it is the foundation of how
we as individuals will go

the growth opportunity in these countries.
Globalization)
Globalization is the process of international integration caused by the exchange of products, ideas and
other aspects of the culture in a global scale. Scholars still disagree whether the globalization caused
the inception of multinational corporations or vice versa. Although globalization is the phenomena
which belongs to the modern era, the earliest samples of multinational corporations could be traced
back to 17th century Dutch and English India companies. Therefore it is generally believed that
multinational corporations are both a cause and a result of the globalization process. The globalization
has manifested itself in the interdependence of national economies and financial markets. There are
different dimensions for the growth of multinational corporations in globalization era. The economic
dimension of the multinational corporation growth can be presented through the numbers; including

46. Viability In Adulthood
In recent years, the question When does life begin? is extensively disputed between scholars and
society as a collective. However, even after thorough analysis, the multitude of ideologies regarding
the establishment of personhood still provokes global speculation. Life is something that distinguishes
animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction and
functional activity. Whereas, personhood is the ethical quality or human condition which denotes a
morally significant or valuable individual being.
When discussing this question, the term viability is often proposed when a question regarding the
personhood arises. Viability is the stage the stage of pregnancy that recognises when the foetus can
survive birth and exist independent of its mother. This used to be referred to as quickening, when the
mother first felt the movements of the unborn foetus. However, this first movement feeling has no
connection to viability today.
As modern medicine evolves, the stage of pregnancy when a foetus is considered viable will decrease
dramatically. Subsequently, leading to the current time window where abortions are legally ... Show

In her article, Defence of Abortion she states that she accepts that there is a continuous development in
foetal growth, but suggests that there is a point that the fertilised embryo is not a human. She chooses
to substantiate her argument through the use of this example, there is a continuous growth of from an
acorn to an oak tree, but an acorn is not an oak tree; just as a fertilised ovum a newly implanted clump
of cells is not a person. A second scholar, Jonathan Glover, also dismisses Noonan s argument by
saying that calling a foetus a person at the point of conception stretches the term beyond normal

47. Self-Hatred In Carrie White
Carrie s mom in the 2013 film is more interested in harming herself than harming Carrie White. In the
original version there was a sense of self hatred, but in the latest version that self hatred is magnified.
Margaret White s self harm in the original version seemed like a ploy to increase the fear of her
daughter. However, in Pierce s version anytime she is on screen in the new edition it raises her
undisclosed infatuation with self harm. In this film, it is apparent that a rape caused her unyielding
disgust of sex. This makes her mother less of an antagonist and more of a victim to sufferings rather
than a catalyst. At the beginning of the film, Margaret is in the midst of giving birth, completely alone,
and ignorant of how babies are made. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If she actually wanted to help, she could have spoken to her instead of convincing her boyfriend to be
Carrie s date to the prom. Sue could have welcomed Carrie into her inner circle and show the other
girls that Carrie isn t too bad after all. However, Sue decides to go behind her back to avoid being seen
with Carrie. The horrific massacre that takes place in both of the films could have been avoided if Sue
befriended Carrie. Which still makes the audience question whether Sue is doing this to be friendly or
if she is doing this to clear her guilty conscience. Consequently, this is the reason why Sue in Brian De
Palma s version is punished at the end of the film. After the massacre and Carrie White s death Sue is
left traumatized. In the closing scene, Sue is the only one to escape the burning school. She envisions
that she s placing flowers on the burnt out spot where Carrie s house stood. Unexpectedly, a bloody
hand reaches up through the ground and snatches her wrist. Sue wakes up screaming in her mother s
arms. Although Sue considered herself doing a good deed, she was still punished because her
intentions weren t as genuine as she would have liked to think. However, when Carrie White murders
Miss Collins, the only person that was nice to her, on the surface it seems a bit unnecessary. Carrie
White murders a lot of people in Brian De Palma s version that seems a bit excessive. The director
