students surveyed were accepted into other universities but instead opted to attend UH Hilo
because their families were here in Hilo. One participant was born and raised in Ka u and after
high school spent a summer on the mainland. During his time there he realized he missed his
family and upon returning home made the decision to attend UH Hilo to be closer to them. In
Hawai i family is everything, from childhood we were taught to depend on each other for guidance,
support and thus prompted the establishment of everlasting bonds. Of course in Hawaii the term
family is an umbrella like term and covers everything from grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins,
nieces, nephews, friends and Neighbors alike. One participant was born and raised in Hawaii

process. Final system suggests the predicted matches based on first hits stream data; this has been
achieved by two step similarity functions, which built and developed similar incidents in web
platform using Lucene and Clustering libraries. The K means clustering and logistic regression
methods has been trained to be used real time to evaluate final safety scores categorized by labels,
and provided label matching in particular safety concept group(s). This combined methodology
presents measure of semantic similarity where request for both predefined human labels achieved
from previous resolution and implementations. Probabilistic model as similarity on a data set
formulated by LDA and BM25 and is implemented by python and java to push data. Our results

individual that suffers from the abuse is called the abused, there is different patterns and

know this, which makes the person assume that what you said was the end all be all to the
situation. These situations can likely equate to being a lie because of the information that was

There are numerous sources in which an individual can obtain information about current events
happening around the world; some produce content strictly on the pretense of political affiliation,
while others attempt to establish a more neutral footing, and others are simply more credible than
others. Only four examinations will be necessary to prove this, however: The New York Times,
the New York Post tabloid, the Richmond Times Dispatch, a local newspaper centered in Virginia,
and finally the Telegraph, a conservative leaning news source based in Britain. Each of these

The New York Times was perhaps the most diverse of the four examples provided here. Their
stories covered issues happening all around the globe; such as the earth quake which just hit
Mexico, hurricane Maria, the United Nations Council meeting, North Korea, and most notably
Donald Trump. The New York Post however, was more geared towards the casual reader
covering topics such as celebrity gossip in the U.S. and occasionally a political issue here and
there. The Telegraph focused mainly on issues in England, especially the problems Parliament is
facing with the Brexit decision and internal conflicts between members Theresa May and Boris
Johnson. The Richmond Times Dispatch was circulating many articles concerning the removal of
Confederate monuments as it is a pressing issue for many people residing in the Southern states
of the U.S. Other articles were very focused on issues Virginian s were facing. Specific articles
that had been written by the reporters of each website varied, especially in contrast with work
done by the New York Post. The New York Times in discussing Trump on his statements made at
the UN council meeting were not followed with words of praise or condemnation, but rather felt
factual and focused on informing rather than convincing. However, in a article written by the New
York Post concerning a Trump Victory Dinner to be hosted in New York, albeit short, had subtle
discontent with the actions of the president ensuring to note that he rarely
