2. Papa Goose Inventory System
Scope and Purpose
Purpose
We will be observing one of the restaurants located in Melbourne, named Papa Goose
Restaurant Bar. The main purpose of this project is to know about the inventory system
of this restaurant. The purpose is to look at the issues in the inventory, and to provide
them with the best possible solution.
Target System Inventory Management
Papa Goose is both a restaurant and bar so it is necessary that the inventory of both the
ingredients of the restaurant and the liquor of the bar. They are currently using a manual
setup for holding the records of the inventory of both the restaurant and the bar. It is
necessary that they use proper inventory system and keep it computerized.
Perpetual Inventory System/Weekly Based
I would prescribe them to do a weekly control on their ingredients and the liquor. The
weekly inventory check would give the manager a weekly check of the requirements
needed in the inventory. This would help in identifying and solving the potential or
upcoming problems of relating to the inventory. Perpetual inventory system would be
necessary in the case of Papa Goose Restaurant Bar, the amount of the raw material such
as meat and all the other important ingredients required could be collected and then all
that has been bought could be entered in the computer, in the spreadsheet the correct
quantity could be removed when it is used. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We would provide them with all the basic knowledge of how to keep the data on the
computer. The computerized data would also help them to keep a backup of their data.
The perpetual inventory system would make the work error free, and also less chances of
3. Ukiyo-E Japanese Culture
Ukiyo e and its Effects on Japanese and Western Culture
Art is a very important aspect to Japanese culture. It is a visual expression of Japanese
culture and history. Japanese art covers many subjects such as landscapes, historical and
fictional stories, people, and architecture. Throughout Japanese history, one of the most
popular genres of Japanese art were the Ukiyo e, wood block prints. Many artists such as
Katsushika Hokusai and Tsukioka Yoshitoshi became famous creating Ukiyo e artwork.
The Ukiyo e genre was not only important for reflecting Japanese culture, but was central
to shaping Western perception of Japanese art and culture. When Ukiyo e artwork found
its way into Western hands in the late 19th century it flourished amongst the ... Show

Because of the Ukiyo e the people began to fall in love with the Japanese culture. The
Westerners were astounded by quality of work and all of the hard work that goes into
each of the prints. The Ukiyo e artist were not just creating the pictures but also carving
wood in great detail in order to create one coherent print. The Ukiyo e prints brought
the westerners into the everyday world of the Japanese people. They were able to see
the world from the eyes of the everyday people in japan. Ukiyo e reflected the plays
and stories in Japan as well as the landscapes and nature of Japan. They were impressed
by the beauty of Japan itself and through Ukiyo e they were able to see it for their
selves. The flat style of the woodblock prints was unique compared to the style of the
Western paintings. Without linear and rising perspective the Ukiyo e prints highlighted
certain aspects of Japanese life. For example in Hokusai s Great Wave the waves off
Kanagawa complete dwarf Mount Fuji. This shows that the Japanese people saw the
waves as a great trial when fishing in the morning. It showed the true struggle that they
had to go through each day. The Westerner s sympathized with images such as this and
their perception changed from seeing Japanese art and culture as inferior to seeing it as
beautiful and unique.
4. Role Of Chivalry In Beowulf
The role of chivalry is a complicated concept for solitary heroes within Beowulf and
Albrecht Dะัrer s Knight, Death, and the Devil. In Beowulf, the concept of chivalry is
explained through the eyes of the hero, Beowulf, which is the idea of performing
chivalrous actions in the face of death for glory; however, Beowulfdoes not realize that
his actions will not keep his people safe in the end. In Knight, Death and the Devil, the
idea of chivalry is the motivation of the knight on religious grounds to be chivalrous in
the face of death. The Knight gives the impression that he understood that his actions
would ultimately be meaningless, and he appears resigned to the idea. The argument can
be made that chivalry is unsustainable in both texts, given that while it inspires these
heroes to pursue these tasks, the result is that they believe that mild sacrifices, such as
their own life, must be made to ensure victory; however, these two texts differ with their
heroes anticipated outcomes of their sacrifices, which turns out to be for nothing. Despite
having different outcomes of operating within a system of chivalry, these two texts
similarly critique the outcomes of chivalry as being unsustainable based on the demands
it places on heroes to sacrificethemselves. To defend this claim, I will begin by similarly
critiquing how chivalry is unsustainable within both texts. I will then express how both
texts show the unsustainability results from the demands of sacrifice. I will then

autonomy.
The American Nurses Association gives a comprehensive list of responsibilities that are
to be carried out by a registered nurse. It includes performance of physical examinations,
taking health histories, providing health promotion, counseling and education,
administering medications, wound care and numerous other personalized interventions,
interpreting the patient information and making critical decisions about needed actions,
coordination of care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals,
directing and supervising care delivered by other healthcare personnel such as the
nursing aides and also to conduct research in support of improved practice and patient
outcomes (ANA, Accessed on 8/1/2016). The extent to ... Show more content on

The third step is planning and this involves the development of goals and outcomes
whereby a plan of care is designed to help assist the patient to achieve the goals by
resolving the identified diagnosis. Implementation involves translation of the plan to
action. The final step which is the evaluation involves the determination of the extent to
which the outcomes have been achieved or not.
According to NANDA International, Inc. (formerly the acronym to North American
Nursing Diagnosis Association) medical diagnosis deals with disease or medical
conditions. However nursing diagnosis deals with the human response to actual or
potential health problems and life processes. This has been elucidated with an example
that points to the differences in how a doctor and a nurse would approach the same
health condition. The medical diagnosis of cerebrovascular attack (stroke) would provide
one with the information about the patient s pathology. When we look at the
complimentary nursing diagnoses such as impaired verbal communication, risk for falls,
interrupted family processes and powerlessness, they provide with a more holistic
understanding of the impact of that stroke on this particular patient and his family. Thus
it also direct nursing interventions to obtain patient specific outcomes (NANDA
International n.d.).

SIRIUS Satellite Radio was incorporated on May 17, 1990 as Satellite CD Radio Inc.
On November 18th 1999 the company changed their name to SIRIUS Satellite Radio

most of their customers subscribing to SIRIUS Satellite Radio on either a monthly or a

ENVIRONMENT Economic Considerations. Sirius service is still young and
growing. Currently sales are on the rise and subscriber numbers look good. The
company is vulnerable to economic change though. Since Sirius s income is based on
a subscription model and satellite radio is seen as a convince rather than a necessity
in a time of economic hardship Sirius could suffer greatly. Demographic
Considerations. Sirius s target audience is any average consumer, specifically any
consumer with a motor vehicle. There are around 100 Million motor vehicles on the
road today. The satellite radio industry has only been able to infiltrate around 4.5
Million of them so far. With this huge target market and the word about this new
technology spreading there is still room for huge growth. Social and Cultural
Considerations. The amount of social and cultural diversification within Sirius s
target market is huge. To take advantage of this, Sirius offers programming across the
board to appeal to any listener. From rap and top 40 hits genre s to the all Elvis
channel and easy listening Sirius has covered everyone s musical wants and needs.
Also with talk radio you can find anything from Sirius Left and Sirius Right political

7. The Cause Of The Irish Potato Famine
In this 21st century we are heavily consumed by technology and food. We constantly
see advertisements of eating healthy and what these nutrients that these food provide
for our benefits. Eating fresh organic food nowadays is a crucial part of our daily
living. From sowing to harvesting and selling the produce a lot goes on backstage that
not many people are aware about. Rice, potatoes, milk and eggs are some of the staple
foods that most people use. When a staple food is destroyed is can effect many people
economically and by health. An invasive pathogen that was originated in Central Mexico
that was very detrimental for potatoes was Phytophythora infestans. The disease is also
known as potatolate blight. Phytophythora infestans are... Show more content on

They then gradually spread and form ring of necrotizing tissue (Sedlakova et al 2011).
At first the plant will look healthy before the lesions are visible on the outside. This is
also a challenge for the farmers because they will not know if their produce is
unhealthy until it is visible. By the time they can cut of the plant the disease would
have spread to the neighboring plants as well. P. infestans are produced through sexual
and asexual mating. The two mating types are known as A1 and A2 ( Nowicki et al
2012). When mycelia of both types interact they produce oospores sexually. Mycelia is
the branched filament of fungi (Encyclopaedia Britannica 2017). Oospores are spores
that have a thick coating that allows them to survive harsh environmental conditions for
a long period (Nowicki et al 2012). When both these types mate they produce a worse
isolate compared to only if A1 mating occurs. The production of these more harmful
isolates was detected by researchers in United States which has made controlling this
pathogen more difficult (Fall et al 2015). Sporangia of P. infectans also produce
zoospores through asexual mating. Sexual and asexual mating is influenced by the
environment. Asexual is mating is encouraged when the weather is a warmer and
oospores are produced in cooler weather hence for the thick coating of oospores. Some
biosecurities that are implemented in controlling the pathogens are by spraying
fungicides, removing any infected potatoes from the

Among all the Americans who put their country in front of his or her life, Mr.
Benjamin Anthony Hughes was one of them. He went to high school at Vandalia
Butler High School just north of Dayton. His story all started when a teacher in high
school suggested that he should look into ROTC as a way to help pay for his college.
He signed up and received a scholarship to Xavier University not knowing what was
ahead of him. Part of the agreement for the scholarship was that he should take part in
military courses during college, then once he graduated he would spend 4 years in the
Army. He moved around the country for the next two years training for his next place.

Other soldiers and he were in charge of training the local police to disarm bombs and
make their country safer. He remarked that it was a great experience to work with the
Iraqi people, he made friends with a few and still periodically speak with them. At the
time he was in Iraq, America had just begun New Dawn and aiding the Iraqi Police.
Mr. Hughes said This was very important and rewarding to see how much America was
helping people to rebuild their country and its government after almost 10 years of
war. We made friends with the local police chief in the town. The Iraqi officer is a
kind man who cared a lot about the safety of his city. We were supporting by helping
them in the war and they were supporting back by helping us generally win the war.
One of his favorite memories was when the Iraqi officer pointed across the desert to a
hill which was the sight of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which is one of the seven
wonders of the ancient world. The Iraqi officer lets Mr. Hughes and the others know
that when the war was over, the officer himself would personally give the soldiers a tour
of the amazing site because of the soldiers dedication to protecting his people. It was a
great compliment to Mr. Hughes and the army
9. Delegation in Nursing
A Discussion of Various Perspectives on Delegation in Nursing Jessica Abbott University
of Central Florida ABSTRACT: Delegation refers to the practice of a registered nurse
assigning certain tasks and activities to other people while still maintaining responsibility
for the actions of the others to whom responsibility has been delegated. The act of
delegating assumes that the delegator has a certain amount of trust in the person to
whom they delegate. Additionally, quality communication is paramount in maintaining
superior patient care when delegating tasks to others. One signifigant obstacle to
delegation is ensuring that the proper tasks are delegated to the appropriate individuals.
The organizational structure and leadership... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Resha s qualms about the particularities of the implementation of delegation don t
detract from her general support for the practice of delegation as such. Statement of
Counter View The main argument against the practice of delegating nursing
responsibilities is that organizational structures often fail to ensure that the people
receiving the delegated responsibilities are qualified to accept the delegation. Resha
(2010) discussed this to some extent, but believed that the practice on the whole was
worthy. However, it could be argued that by its very nature, delegation creates a
discrepancy between the person performing a nursing action and the person
responsible for that action. This could have negative consequences on quality of care,
because if a nurse isn t responsible for her own actions, then she may perform her role
less effectively than she would if she had to take responsibility for her performance.
As Reising and Allen (2007) write, delegation may be encouraged as a way to decrease
costs and deal with low staffing levels, but it can also put the organization at increased
risk for law suits if carried out improperly. Both aspects of this warning are instructive.
First, Reising and Allen seem to suggest that delegation primarily emerges as a result of
practical considerations
10. Emirates Critical Success Factors
The idea of Critical success factors (CFS) was first presented by D.Ronald Daniel in
1960. The definition of (CFS) is the essential areas of activity that should be performed
in professional way to meet the objectives and the certain aims on which the business
based on to create success.
According to mind tools (2014)
According to our case study (Emirates Group) there is four main (CFS) as shown below:
1 Extending their brand reach they continued to invest strategically through 2013 2014 to
make towards their goal to become global life style brand.
2 Focus on result and long terms goals is guiding principles for emirates to meet there
growth targets .
3 Taking their people (employee) further by keeping the dynamic staffing need across the
company remained significant task for their human resource team.
4 Taking the emirates experience further by work hard to continually raise the bar across
their business.
Then this some information s (key indicators) guide us to monitor if emirates being good
by reference to the critical success factors:
1 This year Emirates group expanded their brand reach by signing as official partner of
the Roland garros tennis tournament in Paris at 5 years .
2 Emirates group despite launching ten new passengers routes to increase their seat
capacity.

necessary training courses, but the time and the amount specified in the budget and

11. Designing A New Computer System
Case Study 1
Three friends have asked me to configure a new computer for each one of them. The
first one is a gamer, and she needs a competitive gaming system. Another wants to
purchase a computer for her home office where she has a small travel agency company,
and the third would like a notebook or laptop computer that he can use for schoolwork.
Each one of my friends has a $2000.00 budget to create the perfect computer system for
each of their needs. First, we will create the perfect gaming system for my friend in
need. With the gaming system we will be starting from scratch. First things first, obtain

The two have been tested against one another, and honestly there is really not much
different between the two in game playing performances. However, the SSD has
proven to be drastically faster than the HD. I am going to go with the SSD with this
gaming system because it loads faster, transitioning maps throughout the game is
significantly faster, and overall it means that your computer will boot at a
significantly faster. Overall one would have a better experience because it makes the
overall functionality of the computer better as a whole. The Samsung 840 EVO 240
GB would be a great one to choose. It can be found for $129.99. It is a little on the
pricey side, but it will be well worth it. Next we need to configure a reliable computer
system for my friend that has a small, at home travel agency. With this system I would
also recommend buying an already made system, and perhaps doing a few upgrades.
Dell has the OptiPlex 3020 Micro which is a descent system for an at home business.
It comes with an Intel Pentium G3240T Processor which is dual core with HD
Graphics. This dual core processor has plenty of horsepower to work with for a small
business, so there is really no need in upgrading this to a quad core processor. It will
allow you to answer e mails while running Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the
Web browser. It also comes with 4 gigabytes of RAM, and there is

This is my personal favorite chapter. You can factor polynomials in a few different
ways: by GCF, through the form X2+BX+C, through the form AX2+ BX+C, and by

need to draw an X. Then, after that, you multiply A and C (if there is no A it means
that A=1), and put it in the top of the X. Put B in the underside of the X. Factor AC until
you find the pair that equals B when either added or subtracted to or from each other.

feats of strength and displayed his body in the late 1800s. As a result of his exhibitions,
Sandow was known as the strongest and best built man in the world. Others soon began

14. Analysis Of The Charter Of Rights And Freedoms
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms has ensured that the rights of individuals are
entrenched in Canadian law and in that, the Constitution serves to raise public
awareness of the Courts, rights and legal acts. Not only this, it services individuals for
their protection and equality within a Federal setting. The Charter is also believed to
have expanded the scope of judicial review in order to maintain balance in the political
structure. The practice and procedure of a judicial review is meant to challenge and
examine the forms, rules and applications that is relevant in an everyday juncture. But
despite this, political theorists such as Bork, Bickle and Mandel have found arguments to
challenge the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and judicial

History of ED Treatment Erectile dysfunction is one of the most serious diseases all

impotence In literature, Thomas Hokkliva dated 1420 year first mentioned the word
impotence in a poem. However, this term had a slightly different meaning it can easily
be replaced by the words powerless and helpless . In its usual sense, the word is found
in the book History of the Church in Britain dated 1655 year. There, the Pope virility
of the Pope was called into doubt. It is difficult to believe but one of the first mentions
of the word impotence was recorded in the Bible, where it had a clear reference to the

Such sentiments prevailed in the minds until the 19th century. In Russia, folk methods
of treating impotence were popular. One of the recipes advised men to smear the man
parts with a mixture of deer fat and chopped chicken hearts. In the late 19th century,
scientific approach to the problem of sexual disorders appeared. American William
Hammond, in 1883, wrote his Sexual impotence in the male and called early sex and
masturbation the main reasons for ED. The scientist suggested the young men to refuse
sex life up to 21 years, and limit the number of sexual acts to three a month. As the ED
treatment, William Hammond suggested the abstention for a year. At the same time,
moxibustion therapy with nettles and electrical stimulation were developed. In the 20th
century, the struggle against male impotence became more efficient. Masturbation was
justified, and doctors divided the causes of ED into psychological and physical. An
enormous role was given to the background diseases that provoke impotence. The
medicine made a huge step forward. There was a set of effective methods of treatment,
which gave positive results in 95 % of cases, and the men returned to the joy of sexual
life. For the treatment of psychological ED, hypnosis was actively used in 60s. Since
1982, doctors prescribed a special injection into the penis. Since 1985, vasodilators came
to the rescue. At the beginning of the century, men got grafts in the

What Is Aggression
Aggressive behaviour develop where an individual is being praised or rewarded for
being forceful. Being praised or rewarded for such action, can be an encouragement and
reinforcement to perform such behaviour in the future.
According to (Cherry) aggression is the continuous, unacceptable behaviour that can
cause physical and psychological harm to people in general, or objects in out
surroundings. It is a behaviour that is self ascertained with hostility and harmful tones
and can be from a normal reaction to a threat, or can be abnormal because of provocation.

I think that people can be antisocial and unkind to others and decide that because they
are in a crowd or a group, they can do whatever they desire. In groups, they can make
decisions among themselves to rape and, or kill you. This behaviour would come about
because there is no one to identify you to say you are the one who did this to me.
Individuals of such would go unpunished unless someone from that particular group is
willing to speak out against what was done.
Relative Deprivation Theory
Based on what (Walker and Smith, 2001) said, relative deprivation is the knowledge
gained of being deprived of something that he or she is entitled to get. Relative
deprivation talks about people who are not satisfied when they compare their positions to
others and find out that they have less than their peers or others. When people feel that
they deserve more than they have got, this can cause frustration which will lead to
aggression. This occurs when people compare what they have and it often occurs when
conditions are improving and expectations are rising, but are not met. It can be a
temporary behaviour.
People are not aroused to political action as a result not of absolute changes in their
material conditions but of changes relative to the circumstances of those with whom they
compare themselves . Relative deprivation occurs where people or groups see
themselves as being treated unfairly over others

20. Against Super PACs Essay
The next presidential election will be one like no one has ever seen before in terms of
campaign funding and expenses. Even now, the GOP Presidential Primary races are
already showing signs of how money will not be an object for their presidential
candidate. The seemingly limitless budget exists for these candidates thanks to the so
called Super PACs (Political Action Committees). These Super PACs are allowed to
come up with independent financing for the presidential campaign, sans any budgetary
ceilings. The inner workings of such a committee has left a bad taste in the mouths of
the voters even though very little is known about the actual history and reasons for the
existence of the Super PACS. This paper will delve into the committee s... Show more

That is one reason why the public has come to reject the idea of the Super PACs. It has
the turned the political campaign into a shallow, reality television, mud slinging type
of contest from which the candidates can never return. The ads being run in the
newspapers, television, and radio stations cost these candidates and Super PACs
money that could have been used for better political means such as contributions to
charitable organizations by the candidates or their support groups on their behalf.
That sort of act would have had a greater political impact upon the voting public than
an ad campaign explaining the ills of Newt Gingrich. Even more sickening, is the fact
that most of the candidates will feign knowledge of participation in any negative
campaign movements because of the independent nature of the Super PACs. The
candidate can deny any involvement in the act all the while coordinating with his
Super PAC under the radar of mass media. These negative campaigns leave the
candidate free and clear of any involvement as all the Super PAC has to do is run the
ad with a clear disclaimer absolving the candidate the ad supports of any wrong doing
because the ad was not sanctioned by the candidate or political party. In other words,
Super PACs gives a voice to people with money. All corporations that have money to
give, are giving millions and millions of dollars to the candidates across the board.
Independent voters don t have that money to donate, so their
21. Hormone Replacement Therapy Essay
Hormone Replacement Therapy in Transgendering the FTM Transsexual
Gender may well be the most defining factor in the spectrum of elements that comprise
the human persona. In fact gender is so basic to our identity, most people mistakenly
assume that our sense of being male or female is defined with absolute certainty by our
anatomical sex. Contrary to popular belief, our sense of gender and anatomical sex are
two distinct elements; each developing at different times in different parts of the body.
While my research is limited to hormone replacement therapy involved in masculinizing
a biological female, it should be noted that the psychiatric, psychological, and medical
factors that contribute to cases of gender dysforia are major ... Show more content on

Overview of Hormone Replacement Therapy for the FTM Transexual
Fundamental to sex reassignment treatment of transsexuals is the acquisition of the sex
characteristics of the other sex to the fullest extent possible. With the exception of the
internal and external genitalia, sex characteristics are contingent of the biological effects
of the respective sex steroids. Hormonal reassignment has therefore two aims: 1) to
eliminate, in so far as possible, the hormonally induced secondary sex characteristics of
the natal sex and 2) to induce those of the new sex.
Biologic females treated with testosterone experience the following permanent changes: a
deepening of the voice, clitoral enlargement, mild breast atrophy, increased facial and
body hair and male pattern baldness. Reversible changes include increased upper body
strength, weight gain, increased social and sexual interest and arousability, and decreased
hip mass.
Hormonal Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Hormones are long range chemical messengers of the body, manufactured and controlled
by the endocrine system. The hypothalamus produces gonadotropin releasing hormone
(GnRH). This signals the anterior pituitary gland to synthesize and release luteinizing
hormone (LH). To a lesser degree, GnRH also triggers the synthesis and release of
follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Subsequently, LH and FSH signal the gonads
(ovaries in females, testes in males) to synthesize and release hormones that cause
