In Anglo Saxon times, Beowulf is considered a well known epic hero. Epic heroes
are literary characters from ancient mythology and other stories, which were written
down in the form of long, narrative epic poems. The hero is the main character, or
protagonist of the poem ( Epic Hero: Definition, Characteristics Examples. ). The epic
hero usually battles for accomplishments to a set of tasks to complete important
goals. Beowulf is described as an epic hero because of his honor, bravery, and
intelligence. One of the major fights that make Beowulf an epic hero is the fight
with Grendel. Grendel is a monster spawned out of slime. He terrorizes and kills
the Danes every night for 12 years with their attempt of fighting back. Beowulf
hears about Grendel and decides to take matters in his own hand. He chose fifteen
warriors to go and battle with him. On the way he meets a king named Hrothgar.

some overlap with the term normal, though what is perceived as normal within a
society can be defined by inherent identities such as race, sex, or dis/ability whereas
mainstream culture (and by extension, subculture) is defined by chosen interests,
aesthetics, or practices.. One does not choose to be born a member of a marginalized
identity group, but inclusion or exclusion vis a vis dominant culture is somewhat

investigated a new approach for improving the radiation efficiency and performance
of the antennas with the size miniaturization, in particular we have simulated two
types of UWB printed monopole antennas for proving this approach with results:
circular patch and Compact Miniaturized Semi Circular patch UWB monopole
antennas and in detail investigation was presented on size miniaturization in order to
achieve very compactness and high radiation efficiency with out degradation of the
functional parameters and overall performance. Simple rectangular microstrip lines
are used for feeding the printed monopole antennas. This UWB monopole antenna
designed works well for the whole UWB frequency band 3.1 10.6GHz.

There are awards given to women who have gotten superior grades, been offered
great jobs, or are simply a success. Knowing this, what I want to learn is whether
these women who are so highly praised and allowed the same success as men are
still subjects to gender based expectations, more specifically in learning and
education. In my study I will be deceiving the participants into thinking that only
women will be successful in this study or to another group I will be saying only
men will be successful. The way this will be done is by using simple high school

(equal number of females and males) that only men will pass this test, and then I
will repeat this with the other half of my participants but falsely informing them of
the opposite. The fact that I will play on women s vulnerability will allow me to
learn whether these very empowered and successful women will still be so after
being told they will fail before even trying. My hypothesis is that these women will
be affected by such a statistic and depending on the false statistic they get, they will

carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen. There are four different ways that carbohydrates
can be classified: monosaccharides, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides.
Monosaccharides are the simplest sugars. They are aliphatic aldehydes or ketones
and most have five or six carbon atoms. Oligosaccharides are two monosaccharides
linked together by the elimination of a water molecule which allows the glycosidic
bond can form. Polysaccharides contain more than one glycosidic bond and are the
heaviest and most prominent natural forms of carbohydrates (Mcclemmon).
Carbohydrates also have the potential to be reducing sugars. This means they have a
free aldehyde or ketone group that is capable of acting as a reducing agent. All
monosaccharides are reducing sugars and the other forms have the potential to be
one. There are several different ways to identify the bonding of a carbohydrate in the
lab. In this lab, combinations of several different tests were used in order to
determine which functional groups were present. Benedict s and Barfoed s tests both
test for the presence of a reducing sugar. Benedict s reagent produces a red
