During the time I observed Mass there was a dominate race in attendance mostly
Caucasian (around 200) with several Hispanics (around 50) and very few African

Two of the poems written by Seamus Heaney, Digging and Blackberry Picking ,
contain recurring themes while both discussing entirely different scenes. The first
poem, Digging , talks about Heaney s memories of hearing his father digging in
the potato garden outside the house. The second poem, Blackberry Picking ,
carries a similar solemn tone, while describing another memory of Heaney s of his
experience with picking blackberries. These poems by Heaney share similar themes
of reflection of his past experiences in which he dissects important life lessons from
everyday events such as the passage of time and the uncertainty of life. Imagery is a
common form of technique used in poetry in which the author uses visualization to
demonstrate a vivid scene for the readers. In the poem, Digging , he discusses his
father s aging figure and recreates the feeling of the passage of time by mentioning
his grandfather digging in a similar fashion. When Heaney says, Till his straining
rump among the flowerbeds; Bends low, comes up twenty years away , he is most
likely referring to a past memory of his father, indicating he has passed away

My First Paid Teaching Job
She has envisioned herself as a planter sowing seeds into her students. Some would
reject her lessons. Some would embrace them and teach them to their children. Her
ideology is that generation after generation people have left their children a world
that is a mess and it will take a very special type of people to clean it up and prevent
the mistakes of the past. The end game to her has always been to develop her

The Landlady is a short story written by Roald Dahl, it started when the main
character, Billy Weaver, travel to Bath from London for his new job acceptant. The
story was written in the third person point of view and it describes about the

at a strange boarding house. Through the description, we can see that the boy is too

The Decameron was named after one of Songsong s favorite books written by
Giovanni Boccaccio in the mid 14th century that consisted of a collection of 100
stories told by 10 different characters over 10 days. The significances of this stories

Abstract: In this study, we report a convenient, simple, economically viable and eco
friendly method for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with carboxymethyl
gum kodagogu (CMGK). Carboxymethyl gum kondagogu is a nontoxic and
renewable. It is used as reducing, stabilizing and capping agent for the synthesis of
AuNPs without using any chemical reducing agent. The effect of various parameters
such as concentration of HAuCl4 and CMKG and reaction time for the synthesis
of AuNPs was studying. The green synthesized AuNPs were characterized by
UVв€’vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR),
transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X ray diffraction techniques. The
resultant CMGK capped AuNPs are extremely stable and had significant
antibacterial action on both Bacillus subtilis (B.subtilis) and Escherichia coli (E.
coli). The catalytic activity of the CMGK capped AuNPs was studied the reduction
of 4 nitrophenol (4 NP) to 4 Amino phenol (4 AP) in the presence of NaBH4. With

George Herbert Mead (February 27, 1863 April 26, 1931) was an American
philosopher, sociologist and psychologist, primarily affiliated with the University
