disease I can now understand and sympathize with my dad, who developed GBS in
2005.
Throughout this paper I am going to discuss four things: what Guillain BarrГ©
syndrome (GBS) is and what it does to the body; signs, symptoms, and etiology of
GBS; how to diagnose GBS; and treatment processes for GBS. First, I will talk
about what GBS is and how it affects the body. Next, I will discuss the etiology of
GBS and some specific things that occur prior to the diagnosis of GBS. Third, I will
talk about how to diagnose GBS. Finally, I will discuss the different treatment options
after GBS is diagnosed.
First, I will talk about what Guillain BarrГ© syndrome (GBS) is and how it affects
the body. GBS is what is called a demyelinating disease, meaning that the myelin
sheath around our nerves gets destroyed or stripped off. GBS can strip the myelin

When I say monsters , I don t mean the ones that only come out at night and hide in
the darkness, I m talking about the monsters that reside in our minds. The monsters
that we deal with on a daily basis, and overwhelm us if we don t control them. We all

Anxiety is my second biggest monster, partly because it is a huge side effect of
