The show Gentle Strength is an event includes ten dances. These dances were choreographed by

texts. During the 1950 s and 1960 s there was interest in women s suffering, but there would not be
a true movement until the late 1960 s with the Women s Liberation Movement Success. What
started out as a tea party of four female friends in 1848 turned into a movement.
The Women s Liberation Movement sought to change the lack of history of women and to keep

true to control, (Didion). The article, Holy Water by Joan Didion draws parallelism to the
controlling or lack of control of water by metaphorically comparing water to life. Analyzing the
possibility of how people are taking water for granted, especially where rainfall is extremely
sparse, Didion touches on how supply and demand of a natural resource is solely dependent on its
availability and whether or not it is immediately needed. Didion s use of tone, appealing to
emotions, gathering the audience to develop a trust, and providing a direct insight into her purpose
allows the reader to recognize the importance water has within the planet.
Didion s slight infatuation with water seems to be based on her own experiences in which she
serves as testimonial evidence. As it happens my own reverence for water has always taken the
form of this constant meditation upon where the water is, of an obsessive interest not in the
politics of water but in the waterworks themselves, in the movement of water through aqueducts

There are cracks throughout the figure due to age and possible mishandling. It is fairly simple
in terms of detail. While there is some extent of texture in the man s face and skin, it is hard to
tell whether it was intentional or due to average erosion. The features of the man s face are
extremely realistic, nonetheless. The eyes are hollow, which initially led me to believe the entire

political prisoner of war. She was to be imprisoned for 10 years as a teenager, 18 months of
which was spent in Sachsenhausen. Riemann was only a young girl, 14 years old, when the
soviets believed her to be an anti communist and thus the majority of Riemann s life was spent in
concentration camps. Her crime? That she drew a bow on a picture of Josef Stalin s moustache.
When World War II ended, concentration camps that the Nazis had used for imprisonment of

Riemann was questioned and broken down until she was forced to confess to a crime she had
