Recently state and federal legislators have been discussing voter identification laws, also known
as voter ID laws. This issue is controversial because it can lead states to deny voters a vote without
an approved ID. On one hand, some supporters of ID laws argue that these laws are preventing
criminals from committing fraud. From this perspective, the laws are protecting the value of a vote
and what it means to actually participate in an election vote. On the other hand, however, people
argue that by placing the restriction on votingit is impeding the people constitutional rights much

and Genetically Modified. Bob, like many other people, instinctively chooses the natural option
without much thought.
Michael Le Page admits in his article Wrong Headed Victory, that he would unconsciously make
the same choice as Bob. He does not think it should be that way though. Through his article, he
effectively describes how to overcome the opposition of genetically modified food, and not through
the removal of labels.
Le Page s article starts by describing an ideal world, where in which people could always choose
if they wanted to consume genetically modified food products or not. He then argues that this is
not a perfect and ideal world, where billions of people are starving because there is not enough
food. Le Page also pronounces that this number will continue to grow as the earth s population
continues to increase and farming becomes more expensive. He then claims that farming is

video game to break through the confines of reality, was a game
called Pong. From Pong, to Call of Duty, people come a long way in
the world of video games. However, some games have struck up
controversy with their gratuitous violence and their questionable
motives. It has become so controversial, that it has been taken

On Thursday, February 2, 2017 I observed the Court of Common Pleas in Athens, Ohio for an
hour and a half. Overseen by Judge Pat Lang in Courtroom B. I arrived to the courthouse around
8:55 a.m. I entered the building from the right side, underneath the stairs. To my immediate
right, there was an officer and a metal detector I had to walk through before coming any further.
I put the loose things I was carrying through the x ray conveyor belt and collected them on the
other side. I asked the officer where Courtroom B was and he kindly directed me to the 3rd floor.
I took the elevator to the third floor and when the doors opened I walked out and to the left. There

I went through the same security procedures as before upon entering. When I arrived, there was a
trial already in progress in courtroom B, but there were to be trials in both courtrooms that day. I
had a seat in the waiting area along with a handful of other people waiting to enter the courtroom
or to hear from their attorneys. Some people looked distressed and others were talking amongst
themselves. There were two women in the waiting area and a public defender came for each of
them. One of the women signed for a continuance and left the building. The other woman had to
pay a fine and she was also out pretty quickly. A few minutes passed and another public defender
