in this painting is set on Ariadne and the meeting between her and Bacchus. Not only that but the
painting, and all other paintings associated with this myth, focus on the shift from divine perfection

Milton Freidman and Rose Freidman were two economists who met in Chicago, were married in

that any government regulation was an infringement on individual freedom. Freidman and
Freidman s minor thesis is that the governmentin a free society should be entirely limited to the
following areas: enforcing law and order, preventing coercion of one individual by another,

s piece titled Red figure lebes gamikos (marriage vessel) it was made with terracotta red clay.

location of this art piece is at The San Antonio Museum of Art in the Greek Late Classical section.

today display social disparity; however, to recognize it, one needs to look through the proper
lens. Literary critical lenses help to understand a work from a different angle which leads to a

of them is the Marxist Theory. Also known as the Conflict Theory, this idea asserts that class
struggle is a powerful divider in society. Although it is a social idea, this concept also relates to
literature. In his play Hamlet, William Shakespeare demonstrates class struggles. Looking at this
composition through the lens of the Marxist Theory, one uncovers that the dominant ones
suppress and exploits the others seeking to display their superiority. Class struggle is noticeable
in Hamlet. The royals exploit the lower class to satisfy their ambitions. People from the working
class carry out the Aristocrats commands and they hold an insignificant rank in their society.

I chose to analyze a speech Hillary Clinton made on human rights, or more specifically, women s
rights. Although I wouldn t want Hillary Clinton for a president, I definitely can agree with
everything she was advocating in this particular speech. She explains the ways in which women s
rights should be equivalent to human s rights, but are currently not, in China. The issues she was
addressing are not issues that we have often in America today; they are shocking and overlooked. If
there is one message that echoes forth from this conference, let it be that human rights are women s
rights and women s rights are human rights once and for all. On September 5, 1995, 180 countries
came together in Beijing China to hear first lady Hillary Clinton s speech about women s rights.
This speech was the United Nations Fourth World Conference of Women. The target audience for
this speech is governments and other organizations that can help meet the goal of making women s
rights human rights. She addressed problems that every single country faced concerning the
liberties of women, and why it was important that they receive these freedoms. The speech was

It all began in 2013. It was a completely normal day. I woke up and followed my daily routine:
brush my teeth, put on my clothes, and went to school. Little did I know, that would be the day that
changed everything. I found out that my uncle Danny had been diagnosed with lung cancer. The
chemo originally worked and he went into remission. After a few months of remission, the
doctors said he would have a few months to live. After he passed away, I couldn t talk to him. I
couldn t see him anymore. He was just gone. Cancer ended the life of someone very precious to
me and his death sparked the beginning of my desire to battle this disease.
When making a list of what I already knew about oncology, I found that there was very little I
knew about this topic. I knew that there were three main types of oncologists: medical, surgical,
and radiation. Those different types of oncologists treat cancer patients by using chemotherapy,

June 28, 2015 Nutrient pollution is responsible for hundreds of dead zones across the world s
oceans lakes and estuaries, and the number and size of them is growing. Many of these dead zones
cover thousands of square miles where almost nothing lives (National Science Foundation, n.d.,
Worldwide Dead Zones section, para. 1). Nutrient pollution, also known as eutrophication occurs
when nutrients, most commonly nitrogen and phosphorus, from industrial, agricultural, residential,
and airborne sources enter the water in high concentrations. This process results in water that is too
rich in nutrients. This in turn causes a chain of events that can cause widespread ecological damage
to both aquatic ecosystems. In order to reduce nutrient pollution to sustainable levels and prevent a
manmade ecological disaster, mankind must stem the flow of nutrients into our waterways by

The Roman religion was replaced by Christianity, specifically the Eastern Orthodox Church, as the
new state religion. Artists helped to spread this new religion by building churches and producing
manuscripts. The artists imagined what religious figures looked like to portray them in art. But
the Church criticized the visual representation of figures at certain periods during the Byzantine
Era. Artists lost their creative freedom during these periods, called iconoclasm. The Early
Byzantine Era ended when the first iconoclasm occurred. One manuscript created during the Early
