Optical illusions are pictures or actions that deceive our eyes and trick us into
seeing something that may not exist. One such example of an optical illusion is
known as the Blivet or Devil s Tuning Fork. Made by well known visual artist M.C.
Escher who is most known for his work Relativity the Devil s Tuning Fork
(pictured to the right) appears to have three prongs at one end but when you look
at the other side it appears to only have two ends. This illusion is effect because the
longer one looks at it the less it appears to make sense to our mind. It was with
illusions such as this that a lot of scientists were able to learn the processes of the
human mind or at the very least get a basic understanding for how it works. But
another factor to contribute to optical illusions is not only how they are drawn as
you can see with the Devil s Tuning Fork but how they are colored. Being able to see
color is one of the things that make humans special but sometimes color can
deceive us. Humans perceive color based upon the lighting and other colors
around whatever the object they are looking at is. For example an apple can be
seen as bright red if the colors around it are lighter or the light is hitting it straight
on but the same apple can be seen as dark red if the colors behind it are darker or the
light source is not focused on it

to save lives. Stricter gun control laws should be enforced in two ways; by more

He was revolutionary in the way he was able to use characters in his writings to

Fuentes was able to reach out to people of all walks of life, his writings were
eventually all translated, and he became known worldwide. Fuentes wrote many
controversial books, some of those were: Terra Nostra, The Campaign, The Old
