I brought one backpack and one small carry on. The flight from D.C. to Florida was
about 2 ВЅ hours. When I landed, I met up with my parents at the baggage claim.

The effects of long term conflicts are numerous and include both physiological and
psychological effects. Children are specifically effected by ongoing conflicts.
Children who grow up in areas of ongoing conflict develop stereotypes and attitudes
towards those in the opposing group. It effects their understanding of the world in
general and develops the way in which they respond to violence and conflict. In
essence, growing up in an area with an ongoing conflict changes a child s entire
worldview which results in a barrier to peaceful resolutions (Nasie, Diamond, Bar Tal,
2015). In general trauma and conflict can affect a person differently, but physiological
effects can include hippocampus shrinkage, damage to neural activity, hypersensitive
2451). This has undoubtedly occurred in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Though the
physical effects of the conflict have occurred since the beginning of the conflict, they
have been more prevalent since the second intifada in 2000. Prior to this time, Israel
was a major source of income for the Palestinian people. However, after the second
intifada, Israel was forced to impose restrictions on employment and forced to
build a wall protecting the nation from outside forces (Miaari, Zussman, Zussman,
2014). This has had a negative physical impact on the Palestinian community as
they are not allowed the freedom to travel and work as they were prior to this time.

Recently, 4K video has exploded onto the scene of affordable consumer cameras.
The GoPro Hero 4 and iPhone 6s are just two examples of consumer level devices
that are capable of recording 4K video. At first glance this technological
advancement seems like the perfect solution to videographers who need high
resolution video, but cannot afford a cinematic camera. However, this technology
is so new, there has yet to be a comparison between the various levels of devices
capable of recording 4K resolution video. Referring back to my problem statement,
the goal of this method is to determine if the GoPro Hero 4 and iPhone6s are a
suitable alternative to a 4K video camcorder. The following is a list of steps taken
in order to determine the effectiveness of these two devices. The first step was to
acquire the equipment and materials needed in order to achieve measureable
results. The three devices needed were an iPhone 6s, GoPro Hero 4, and a 4K video
camcorder. In addition to these cameras, I used a tripod for the camcorder, and
stabilized mounts for the iPhone and GoPro that attached to the tripod. I would
also need a color card to measure color, and a poster with a few words on it to
measure sharpness. Having access to the 4K TV in the Digital Media lab allows me to
I set the 4K camcorder onto the tripod along with the attached GoPro and iPhone in
three different settings. These three different settings were outdoors during the
daytime, outdoors in the evening, and indoors under artificial light. I also had to
make sure that each device was capturing the video in the 24fps, and that the
framing of each device was a close to the same as possible. While capturing the clips
in these three different settings, I placed the color card, and poster with wording
visibly in the frame of the video. I recorded several video clips on each device in
each setting so that I was sure I had plenty to work
