Essay On Jobs
Writing an essay on the topic of "Jobs" can be both intriguing and challenging. On one hand, it's
a broad subject with countless angles to explore, from the historical evolution of employment to
contemporary issues like automation and the gig economy. On the other hand, its vastness can be
overwhelming, making it difficult to narrow down a specific focus for the essay.
Researching for such an essay involves delving into various disciplines such as economics,
sociology, psychology, and even political science. Understanding the intricacies of labor markets,
employment trends, workforce demographics, and the impact of globalization requires sifting
through a plethora of academic papers, reports, and statistical data.
Crafting a compelling argument also necessitates critical thinking and analytical skills. You need
to synthesize the information gathered, identify patterns, and form coherent arguments
supported by evidence. Additionally, considering the subjective nature of some aspects of
employment, such as job satisfaction or the meaning of work, incorporating diverse perspectives
is crucial.
Moreover, writing an engaging essay on such a ubiquitous topic requires creativity to avoid
clichГ©s and present fresh insights. Striking the right balance between providing informative
content and keeping the reader engaged can be a daunting task.
Furthermore, addressing the topic comprehensively within the confines of an essay's word limit
adds another layer of complexity. You must prioritize key points and structure your essay
effectively to ensure a coherent flow of ideas.
In conclusion, while writing an essay on the topic of "Jobs" presents numerous challenges, it also
offers an opportunity to delve into a crucial aspect of human society. With diligent research,
critical thinking, and creativity, it's possible to produce a compelling piece that sheds light on
various facets of employment.

Philosophy of Life Essay
All that I m after is a life full of laughter (Life After You Daughtry). Everyone has
their own personal outlook on life. Some people feel like money and success bring
them happiness, others feel like love is all they need. As Aristotle once said,
Happiness is believed to be the most desirable thing in the world... (Aristotle)
Everyone wants different things. I however, feel like you don t need a lot to be
happy in life, it s the little things that count. Having your family and friends, and
people who care about you, falling in loveand having that person with whom you can
disclose your trust with, helping other people and putting them before yourself,
expressing your feelings and emotions, and living your life to the fullest every... Show

You cannot look for love, love finds you. It is unexpected and seems unrealistic, but
once I encountered what love really was everything changed. All of a sudden nothing
else seems to matter; your priorities, your thoughts, and your actions all become
about this person. You wantto do everything to make them happy, and if they are
then you are to. Once you find someone who you can share anything with and who
makes you feel as if you have everything in the world and you don t need anything
else, thats love. That is what I think helps you reach your ultimate happiness, having
that person who you can share your life with. To see other people pleased puts a
smile on my face. I think everyone needs help getting through hard times and
problems throughout their lives, and helping people overcome their obstacles
helps me reach my ultimate happiness. Everyone goes through road blocks in their
lives. Whether they are small and they don t know what boy to date, or big where
they lost someone close to them, people need help making decision and going on
in life. I enjoy listening to peoples problems, I enjoy putting them before myself and
going out of my way to make sure the people I love and the people who need me are
happy. This is what should bring happiness into everyones life. Knowing I just helped
someone conquer a predicament or help them through a tough situation makes me

Impact On The Cuban Embargo
The Cuban Embargo Every world power has at least one means of communication
with each other and that is made through trade. Furthermore, trade is an essential
part of a thriving economy and is pertinent for a country to grow and prosper. It
would even be argued that the concept of trade is established at a young age, and is
exhibited in the school yard through many medias. One of the most common forms
that trade takes place is through baseball cards. Moreover, each individual
experiences trade during their lifetime, and it is vital for a growing country to
participate in trade. Whilst trade can be an incredible assets towards a nation, it can
also be one of the strongest foes. The nation of Cubacan speak very clearly on this
argument, specifically in regards to the Cuban Embargo issued by the United Statesof
America. The concept of trade and its effect on an economy can be examined
through the Cuban Embargo due to the United States history with Cuba, the effect on
Cuba, and the effect on the United States of America if it were to be ended. Almost
all enemies and foes, at one time, would have considered themselves to be good
friends, this situation exemplifies the relationship between the United States and
Cuba. For instance, in January of 1959 Fidel Castroovertook the Cuban government
and President General Fulgencio Batista (U.S. Cuba Reltions, Suddath). Furthermore,
Castro was able to do this with the help of the United States imposing a 1958

ZoГ« s Childhood In Wild Things
In Wild Things, ZoГ« and Wil have very different upbringings, but both could be
described as near feral. However, there are some surprising similarities between their
not exactly idyllic childhoods.
For starters, both of them essentially had to raise themselves. ZoГ« was neglected
by her mother, and Wil had no parents. Neither of them went to school, and they
both tried not to draw attention to themselves. However, one of the biggest factors
that their early lives shared was the fact that ZoГ« and Wil had to toughen
themselves in order to survive. Wil needed to not only learn to avoid people and
live on his own, he also had to find food for himself and raise Sister. For this, he
needed physical toughness and to learn from his mistakes. Meanwhile, ZoГ« had to
deal with her mother s absence and her mama s boyfriends taking advantage of and
taunting her. This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My answer may come as a surprise. I think that ZoГ« s childhood was much more
difficult than Wil s. My reasoning behind this is that if you think about it, ZoГ«
had to not only emotionally deal with her lack of parenting and eventual loss of
her mother, dodge her mama s boyfriends hatred, and earn money so she could eat
some of the time, she had to give herself an education. But let s not leave Wil out
here. He faced some challenges too. I mean he had to find food, right? That was
probably pretty difficult, but he also had enough free time on his hands to collect
his treasures of nature, carve crazy detailed wood carvings, follow ZoГ«, and raise
a deer! Plus, Wil really kind of walked between the raindrops. Nobody ever
bothered him, and he wasn t ever badly injured. Even a minor cut could have been
infected and killed him, but no such thing occurred. His mother died in childbirth, so
the only emotional pain he ever felt was his father leaving, though i doubt he
remembers it. With all of these reasons, it seems like the obvious answer is
Operas of Mozart Don Giovanni Essay
Donna Anna, Donna Elvira Zerlino
Mozart s Don Giovanni
The choice of the Three women of Don Giovanni can give a good understanding of
the type of music which was used to create an opera in the 18th century Italy. The
opera buffa was a comic opera with a funny story line and light music. Mozart
wrote at different levels. In order to have full understanding of the women s roles, it
is necessary to understand the social context of women in the 18 century. In Kristi
Brown s Mozart s Women she compared Donna Anna to a misfortunate Spanish
maiden. It was very common for composers to take the style of where they were
living at the time and write in that genre of music. Donna Anna was daughter who
was to be married. The role was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His wife would forgive him for his philander with servant girls but not with educated
or artistic (Stafford 119) (Paumgartner, Mozart, 273). As this showed the sexual
freedom of the 18th century Italy, it was quite common to have extra marital affairs
for both men and women. Discretion was the only rule that was demanded by the
upper society to which Don Giovanni never adhered. Donna Elvira had a love hate
relationship with him. He would not have been able to access her rooms.
Donna Anna would have had a waiting room with a man servant or her lady in
waiting attending to her. It would have been highly unlikely that she, who had a
fiancГ©, put herself in a position of having truly been violated. This is where
Mozart is making the point of a woman having to put on social graces. Donna Anna
shows her intelligence in her coming down in a fury and singing in the duet with
Don Octavio how she wants revenge . (Act I) It was not a physical affront, it was
an affront to her intellectual dignity that he should be able to reach her inner
sanctuary. In a more symbolic interpretation, perhaps Mozart was doubting Donna
Anna as a bride or maybe the opposite. Mozart liked a strong, intelligent woman
who set the rules. Donna Anna will not get married until Don Octavio revenges her
father. He shows himself to be weaker than she is. This is usually the role of the
man, but Mozart reverses the male role as a female role which is a theme he often
The Centralized Architecture Design Of The C C Botnets...
As discussed in the Problem Statement, there are several foundational flaws in the
centralized architecture design of the C C Botnets systems, which is leading the
attackers to develop and use a Peer to Peer based control architecture designs like
Phatbot [14], Slapper [12], Nugache [15], Sinit [13] etc., for the Botnet systems.
These Peer to Peer based control architecture designs have multiple advantages like
eliminating the need of using Bootstrap process which is a common process in P2P
protocol. Another advantage of a P2P based architectures like Nugache is their
ability to function undetected as they use a control channel which is encrypted [15].
Another advantage of a P2P based architectures like Sinit is their ability to provide
sophisticated authentication by using public and private keys and cryptography [13].
Figure2 below illustrates the current Command and Control Architecture of a C C
Botnet [1] However, these Peer to Peer based control architecture designs have some
major disadvantages as well. Consider Sinit trojan bot for example, which eliminates
the need for a bootstrap process. Sinit trojan however achieves this using a technique
called Random Probing where in messages or probes or pings are sent to random
systems in the process of identifying remaining Sinit bots in the botnet. This is a
highly risky mechanism because of inefficient communication between the Sinit bots
in the botnet and also the defenders can easily infiltrate

Rebecca Futo Kennedy is a woman who studies the controversies of the formation of
the identity of Classical Athens. She works at Denison University as a professor of
classics. Her primary interests are imperialism, the problems with foreignness, and
geography theories pertaining to Athens. She is an ancient Greek historian who is
trying to find the relationship between these theories and the history of race and
ethnicity in ancient Greek culture. Her thesis statement in Elite Citizen Women and
the Origins of the Hetaira in Classical Athens is to argue that the word hetaira does
not mean a status but a person associated with a set of behaviors that are typical in
the culture of the Greek elite. Her article is relevant when trying to understand the

The Effects Of Divorce On Family Members
Divorce affects family members in many different ways, both positive and negative.
While many children can foster healthy relationships post divorce, some may
experience challenges maintaining future relationships after dealing with their
parents divorce. How can parent do this to their child? One of the most important
thing is to teach your child about building a relationship so they can be positive and
can have positive thinking about getting married to have a familyon their and work
things out with their partner in a positive way. A child to be involved in a parent s
relationship is a way to express their feelings. Or so they can insure they don t have
anxiety when they are older. According to Dr. John Duffy, Chicago based
psychotherapist and author of The Available Parent, children of divorceoften focus too
much on failed relationships and assume they will experience the same fate. Duffy
suggests that parents be clear that they believe in marriageand stress to their children
that it s worth the risk to experience a close relationship . A healthy relationship is
built by using trust children throughout the world of divorced parents have a
tendency they struggle with trust. When working through their own relationship

parents. According to Walfish, these trust issues carry over into their future
relationships. I ve treated many teenage girls whose fathers cheated, had an
Argumentative Essay On Interracial Marriage
Interracial marriage: is the term used to describe marriages that take place between
people who are from different racial or ethnic groups
Some might argue that interracial marriages are corruptions of culture. In the
ruling of Loving V Virginia the judge of the Circuit Court of Caroline County
stated his opinion at the court, Almighty God created the races white, black,
yellow, Malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the
interference with his arrangements there would be no cause for such marriages.
The fact that he separated the faces shows that he did not intent for the races to
mix. However, I believe we are all created equally therefore have every right to
choose who you want to marry, have kids with and spend the rest of your life with.
In our society people believe that the idea of interracial marriages is calamitous.
People can find it strenuous to live with different cultures who have many different
preferences. If we look deeper into this controversy issue, the only reason is a
different outlook on life. And no matter what race people are, because if they truly
love each other, they will have one compromising outlook.
Therefore, interracial marriage should never have been prohibited for these reasons.
Firstly, the constitutional rights of interracial couples were violated. Secondly, love
between adults should regulated by the government or criminalized. Finally, human
rights should take precedence over cultural laws
Firstly, the

schedule and base treatment decisions on the rate of the curve. Second are back
braces. They are usually used on people with a curve more than twenty five degree
angle of the spine. They are used on immature patients who spine has not
completely fully developed yet. Ages for girls are 11 13 boys 12 14. Braces are
not usually used in adolescents whose spines are already skeletally mature or
almost mature. The goal of the brace is to stop the progression of the spinal curve.
When children are detected with scoliosis it s a lot easier for the physicians to
correct the problem before it s too late cause of their spine not being completely
formed. The third type of treatment is Scoliosis is Surgery. Having surgery done is
usually for the most severe cases. Having the surgery will not make your spine

Richard Jewell was Falsely Accused of Setting a Bomb at...
How would you feel if you were falsely accused of committing an act that you are
not responsible for and could have potentially changed what people thought of you
for a very long time? On July 27, 1996 someone had made an anonymous phone call,
stating that a bomb will explode in the Atlanta Olympics during the Summer
Olympics. In this tragic event, one hundred people and one deceased. A man named
Richard Jewellwas deceitfully accused of being the bomber of the Atlantic Olympic
Bombing. Jewell denied playing any sort of role in the bombing occurrence. The
bomber was not considered a suspect until two years later in February. Eric Robert
Rudolphwho placed the bomb at the Atlanta Olympics was also in a connection
with three other bombings. It becomes ironic that the police officers can be in a
dramatic rush to find who was responsible for the acts that were committed, they
rush to figure it out also to keep the crime off of the streets and to be punished for
committing an act of wrong doing. There are other cases where the police have
accused innocently people of committing a crime in which they have not done. An
example of this would also be the Boston Marathon, where bombing had all mad an
occurrence at this event. Richard Allensworth Jewell was just a police officer who
had worked as a security guard, at Piedmont College, located in Georgia. At first,
they had praised Jewell as being a hero, in the bombing, because he had recognized
the bag which the bomb was

It currently trades very close to its 52 week low ($31.88 vs $29.50), yet it
potentially offers more than 50 percent upside. The high valuation ratios should be
overlooked because the company is undergoing extreme revenue growth rates,
which may negatively affect those ratios. The NPV/Shares Outstanding allows
Fitbit to trade at $50/share if it adhered to its intrinsic value. Fitbit also separates
itself from other, young tech companies because it is one of the few that are
profitable. Another Fitbit competitor, Jawbone has been around since 1999, yet still
struggles to make profit each year. This demonstrates the Fitbit s superiority as a
whole. Alongside its discount to intrinsic value, Fitbit also presents healthy
fundamentals. Revenue historically has grown at very high rates annually since
2011, (179%, 428%, 255%, and 175%) without the accumulation of long term debt,
any of which were payed off before January 1, 2015. Besides mathematics, it is
worth noting society s overall shift to the pursuit of a more active, healthy lifestyle. It
is difficult to argue against the fact that people are trying to exercise more, eat
healthier, etc. Fitbit stands at the forefront of this unique trend by supplementing
people with a tool to monitor, and encourage them as they pursue this goal. I see
Fitbit as an excellent opportunity not only because of its dominance in

The Book Of Romans By Apostle Paul
The book of Romans is written by Apostle Paul, and he talks about different aspects
of the Christianity there. He talks about how should human beings view the natural
world, their identity, and relationship with God. Romans chapter one to eight shows
the aspects of those areas: God so loved human beings that He reveals Himself
through natural world that people could know Him; true human identity can be
discovered by seeing God s image within human beings, and to do so, Jesusneed to
justify, sanctify, and glorify them; the relationship between God and human beings
were broken due to a sin, but through God s unconditional love, whoever lives in
Jesus will not be separated from God again.

However, they pretend that they do not know Him. Paul says that For although
they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their
thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened (Rom. 1:21). It is so
obvious that God who created everything is seen in the nature, but people in Rome
still sin against Him, and it is very important to notice that they sin even though
they knew God. It is not quite different in today s world. People try to deny God s
existence, and they do not accept to believe Him even they know that He is alive.
Instead of pursuing to know God, they lean toward to what s more attractive to them,
sin. Paul clearly states about this issues that everyone cannot make excuse that they
see God in the nature, which means on the day of judgement, they would not able to
make an excuse that they sinned because they did not know God.
The nature reflecting God s image affects my biblical worldview that I thought God
is the one who is up in heaven sitting at the throne. It seems He is very far away
from me, but actually He was very close to me, and He is everywhere around me. It
makes me very happy and comfortable that He is around near me. Furthermore, I
could realize the grace and love of God that magnificent God wants to reveal Himself
to tiny human beings. No other gods in other religions wants to reveal themselves to
make a relationship with human beings. This is the uniqueness
The Invention Of Thomas Edison Essay
Imagine a world where ideas and inventions are stolen off each other with no legal
consequences. Imagine a world where Samsung wasn t sued by Apple because
legally, there is no penalty for stealing designs. Imagine a world where Alexander
Graham Bell or Thomas Edison wasn t famous for their inventions because someone
else had stolen their ideas and created the inventions publicly first. This is what the
world would have been like without the use of patents. Patents ensure that no idea is
stolen, sold, or replicated without the appropriate permission. Every inventor has ad
their fair share of troubling experiences with patents. However, an inventor that did
not allow his dilemmas with patents stop him from achieving great things is Thomas
Edison. Due to the patentprocess, Edison was able to succeed at a young age, own
numerous inventions, competed other inventors patents, and inspired others to
compete with his inventions to further improve technology.
Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 to a middle class family in Milan,
Ohio. His interest in gaining knowledge sprouted from a young age. At the mere age
of twelve, he had expanded his reading from The History of the Rise and Fall of the
Roman Empire to various works in practical chemistry. This intelligence and interest
later motivated Edison into creating numerous inventions throughout his life time. At
the young age of 16 Edison had built his own telegraph, which had already been in

Private and public sector management differ only in context, but this difference is
significant.
George Boyne in his article Human resource management in the Public and private

private and public sector management differs in service ethos but this difference is
significant which impacts the tradition, culture and practises of both the sectors. Over
the past two decades many different interpretations and perceptions have come into

Baldwin 1991).
The major differences between a private and public management is ownership,
funding, public interest and mode of governance where public organisations are
controlled collectively by the members of political community and depends on the
political authority for its activities. This results in the political forces having a
greater impact on the direct power of the public sector organisations. On the other
hand, private organisations are owned by shareholders and entrepreneurs and the
controlled or guided by the current global market forces. Public organizations are
funded by taxes paid by citizens whereas the private companies are funded by
customer fees and spending. However, Bozeman (1987) claims that, all organizations
are public because they are all affected by political authority whether they are public
or private. It is the political system that imposes more constraints rather than the
economic system.
Goal is another factor which underlines the distinction between a public and private
management. The understanding of profitability goes a long way with the private
companies having the main goal to sell their products in the market as oppose to
public management. As a result, there has been considerable criticism on the various
government agencies for their attempt to bring public management into line with
private management. For example, Stewart and Walsh (1992, p.

Essay Totalitarian Agriculture
Totalitarian Agriculture The idea of Totalitarian Agriculture is scary. Especially
considering the fact that it is the exact type of agriculture that is being used in
every civilization except for the remaining tribal peoples of the world. I will try to
define Totalitarian Agriculture here: According to an ethics, followed by every sort
of creature within the community of life, sharks as well as sheep, killer bees as
well as butterflies, you may compete to the full extent of your capabilities, but you
may not hunt down your competitors or destroy their food or deny them access to
food. In other words, you may compete, but you may not wage war. This ethics is
violated at every point by practitioners of totalitarian... Show more content on

Why totalitarian agriculture? You got me. It is really hard to knock Totalitarian
Agriculture since it is the foundation of our culture and the sustenance of our lives.
If Totalitarian Agriculture were to disappear tomorrow, then our culture would be
obliterated by starvation. This is not so for the remaining tribal peoples of the
world. They are fully well capable of surviving on their own just the same as humans
have been since there were humans. Thinking about this further made me think about
the reasons for adopting this practice. Our culture practices working to grow and
produce food, locking it up, and then forcing people to pay to get it. before the
agricultural revolution 10,000 years ago, humans had been living successfully as
hunter gatherers for a hundred thousand years, so asked myself what was the reason
for this sudden mind change to the practice of Totalitarian Agriculture? One answer is
due to the vast amounts of food surpluses that are created with totalitarian agriculture.
This is part of the answer to the next reason for totalitarian agriculture, which is
power and expansion. The founders of totalitarian agriculture thought that their way
to live was the one right way for all humans to live. These vast surpluses of food
enabled this culture to expand into surrounding territories near the Tigris and
Euphrates rivers, and use force to take the land from tribal peoples. So now, the first
generations of our culture putting
Gender And Gender Roles In The Medieval Period
Name : Meenakshi Raj As the social system developed, several new occupational
and societal groups needed definition, especially in terms of gender roles and
expectations. The medieval period that began and lasted for a thousand years, by
the domination of both Catholic church and a feudal government system, saw a
life revolving around both men and women depending upon their individual role in
society, determined by their social status, family ties, bloodline, marital status and
education. I It is from a position of wealth, or lack of it, that dictated a man s place in

The town did not like having the women around. Within the households of the

Women were expected to be submissive to men, who were seen as the heads of

indirect example of sexism in our society. Sexism has changed since the 20th century.
We ve gone from women strictly being classified as housewives to women being
discriminated against in leadership positions. Much of the discriminationthat women

Employers and society believe the media so the men get the job. This is not just
true in positions of entertainment but in politics as well. In state government
there have been 2,319 men as governors as compared to 35 women ( Miss

The media uses this against women. In American politics only 20% of the people
that serve in Congress are women and women make up 51% of the U.S. population

Blade Runner 2049 Comparison
After watching the movies Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, both directed by
Ridley Scott. The two movies has numerous similarities between them not just
because they are part of same series, some similarities are such as the setting of the
movies which both take place in Los Angeles, California and show a future
dystopia society and the protagonists of the films, Deckard and Joe are equally
similar in many ways, for example both of them are replicants who work for the Los
Angeles Police Department as a Blade Runnermeaning they retire rogue replicants
and while doing so both Deckard and Joe are morally challenged and both of them
fell in love with someone who supposedly is not engineered to have any real

that Blade Runner 2049 is a better filmwhen in comparison to its prequel Blade

the craft of film making.
The Naturalization Act Of 1906
In 1904, Theodore Roosevelt appointed the President s Commission on Naturalization
to gather opinions from members of the court system and immigration experts
regarding ways to reform naturalization. Citizenship through naturalization, since it
had previously been administered at the locale level, had been used by local groups to
garner support for their political party. For instance, if a judge suspected that the
person applying for naturalization would vote in favour of the party he supported in
the upcoming election, then that person would be granted naturalization. However,
this practice soon came under scrutiny from both local newspapers and the federal
government, which resulted in the commission. The recommendations of the... Show

the descents of the Aryan people, who were fair skinned and blue eyed, at the

common ancestry with European peoples and could therefore be considered white .
In his self published account of his naturalization case, Ghadiali expressed

the case which is taken from a quotation of Ghadiali, You will see my family became

still and I contend that this is in part due to the cyclical self exclusion of minorities
such as Thind and Ghadiali who sought to assimilate through the assertion of

Similarities Between Buddhism And Buddhism
Buddhism, like other world religions, is not one homogeneous grouping of like
minded devotees adhering to one school of thought. Just as Christianity has its
Catholics and Protestants, and Islam its Sunnis and Shiites, Buddhism is also
comprised of various schools and sects. Some scholars separate Buddhist schools into
geographical groupings, such as Southern, Eastern and Northern traditions, whereas
some prefer to focus on a more tradition specific delineation, such as Theravada,
Mahayana, and Vajrayana Buddhism(Cousins 1998, p. 370; Buddhism 2015 ). All
traditions accept the fundamental Buddhist doctines of Four Noble Truths, the Noble
Eightfold Path, anatta (absence of soul) and karma (causation), but differ on other
significant aspects. This essay will compare and contrast two Buddhist traditions, the
Therevada Buddhism of Sri Lanka, and Mahayana Buddhism of China. Theravada
Buddhism can also be characterised as representative of the Southern tradition of
Buddhism, whereas Mahayana is of the Eastern tradition. This essay will also address
how these particular types of Buddhism developed in their respective countries.
Prior to the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka in 247 BCE, the cultural environment
was characterised by a mix of indigenous (veddha) and Aryan beliefs, influenced by
elements of mainland Indian culture (Perera 2013). It was the Indian Emperor Asoka
who sent his son, Mahinda, to introduce Buddhism to the Sri Lankan king (Robinson,

Is Aaron Copland Considered The Antithesis Of...
Inspiration may be a form of super consciousness, or perhaps of
subconsciousnessВ—I wouldn t know. But I am sure it is the antithesis of self
consciousness.
Only one man could claim the title as probably the greatest composer in American
history for writing so many unforgettable works: Aaron Copland. He lived a life
inspired by many things as well as inspiring people all across the nation, and it really
led to the opposite of being drawn into himself, as he described in the quote above.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14 in 1900. He was the youngest
of five children to Sarah and Harris Copland. A musical spark came out in Copland
already at the age of 11 as he began piano lessons with his sister. His musical talents

His first major work upon returning to America was Symphony for Organ and
Orchestra which he wrote just for the few performances of Nadia Boulanger; the
first one in Carnegie Hall in 1925 and another in Boston. As the twenties roared on,
Copland began to show how his musical career would truly follow the ever
changing style of America. During the 1920 s, Aaron Copland went with the trend
and experimented with jazz styles in his music, which proved to be extraordinary
in the views of many. His choice for other pieces came through modern music
about which he once said, I just happened upon it in the natural course of my
musical exploration. This was apparent in the way he would use ideals of
Neoclassicism in his Piano Variations. Copland then hit a downfall in about 1936.
He wrote a few works which were harder to perform and not taken in by many
audiences due to the use of much more advanced techniques which were
uncommon for the time. Copland knew a change had to be made because he
quickly saw how many composers were working themselves into a vacuum, so he
would follow a new path of the more simplistic American way for much of his life.
This simple to understand type of writing is what brought audiences back and made
Aaron Copland great. He started writing functional music like The Second Hurricane
and The Outdoor Adventure for kids, as well as Of Mice and Men, Or Town, North
Star, and The
Art Form Of Music
Music is art form that doubles up as a form of expression. Depending on where you
are from and or where you live the music that is readily available will vary. For
example, the most popular genres around where I live go from country music to
rap and hip hop. One of the biggest factors of how music is developed is the cultural
background that it comes from. Ancient tribal societies have used music as a
foundation for gatherings and to express history. In reality, music has been around
for thousands of years and people were expressing it way before the 21st century.
Music helps define character and allows self expression in a more unique matter. For
instance, folk music, this type of music originates in traditional popular culture and is
typically of unknown authorship. Most rap artists nowadays write about drugs
and making money but others are just using it as a reflection of what s going on
around them. There is a rap artist named J Cole who particularly raps about real
life problems and what s going on around him in the city where he s from. To
people who don t live in the ghetto or a poverty struck area, living in the hood isn t
as bad as it seems, but for people that live there, it s terrifying real. J Cole takes
elements of what s going on around him, what he grew up around and personal
experiences he s faced. In addition there is a song called Immortal by J Cole which
was released on his new album 4 Your Eyez Only. In the song, Jermaine (J Cole)

Chinese, Japanese, and Filipinos were all brought in to work, but their low
standard of living and attempts to organize caused race riots by the white labor
force and subsequent removal of foreign workers from the agricultural industry.
The need for cheap labor therefore remained. To fill this void, many Mexican
workers were brought in;so many that the white worker could not even live in
southern California anymore because the wages were so low. Eventually the
Mexican worker population grew so massive that they too began to organize, causing
the growers to take action against them with vigilante terrorism and savagery
unbelievable in a civilized state (pg 54). Eventually Mexican labor was withdrawn as
well.
The differences between these foreign workers and the Okies were quite numerous.
First, the issue of race created large problems; most people in California were not
particularly fond of immigrants from foreign lands, people who could not even
speak their English. The locals were also displeased with the Okie squatter camps that
were springing up all around, although race riots were not as big an issue in these
places. Another difference was demographics. Most Asian and Mexican laborers
were young single males; these men would form into groups of six or more within
their respective ethnicities to pool their resources and buy supplies for their survival
(Pg.55). The Okies, on the other hand,

While this means a more stable business, it also means that the drilling will have a

Francisco Goya Essay
Francisco Goya s The Third of May1808: Principles of Art Design
Great insights went into the intricate composition of Francisco Goya s painting The
Third of May 1808, his painting utilizes the principles of art and design which
displays all six principles: unity and variety; emphasis; balance; rhythm and
movement; perspective; and proportion and scale. All six principles could also be
identified and critically analyzed within his painting The Third of May 1808 which
ultimately resulted in a whole cohesive composition.
Goya s use of the principle of art design, unity is evident as the shapes and sizes he
painted in The Third of May 1808 are easily recognizable when looking at the
prisoners and soldiers, the viewer can notice that all the human bodies represent mass
equally in the painting. Unity is defined as a method of organizing artwork to bring
all the parts together to make one integrated whole by repeating elements in it.

Emphasis is exemplified by Goya when he painted a horizontal line to represent death.
Convergence is when many elements point to one thing, again this is exemplified
when he painted the riffles horizontally pointing at one of the prisoners brightly
painted in yellow. Moreover it focuses the attention of the viewer to that one prisoner
painted brighter than the others and is easily notice when the painting is first viewed.
Goya integrates the design principle balance in The Third of May 1808 when he
utilizes informal balance and is evident when he painted the soldiers and building on
the right of the painting and prisoners and hill on the left side of the painting which
created a balanced visual weighted artwork Informal Balance is defined as the
elements of art and design used to create the same comfortable feeling as with formal
balance, but in a much more subtle way, using unlike objects that have equal visual

Poldark Show Synopsis
The third season of Poldark kicks off tonight, and the synopsis promises some new
characters for us to know (and maybe even love). Here s how to watch. It s time for
PBS to fire up its fall with the return of Poldark. When last we left off with 1790s
Cornwall, Demelza continued being our favorite character, even if we still do
enjoy looking at Aidan Turner in period costume; things were as per usual tense
between George Warleggan and Ross Poldark; oh, and Elizabeth s pregnant, and
the baby is (probably) Ross , but she s married to George. Even though we all know
George is terrible. Anyway, it s a lot to take in, but the show will presumably give us
a brief reminder of all the storylines ahead of tonight s premiere. Watch your favorite

George has everything going for him: Elizabeth, an heir, the Poldark lands, his
own church. Meanwhile, Demelza s brothers, Sam and Drake, take up preaching.
After Caroline and Dwight elope, Dwight vanishes. Wait a second here. More
members of the Carne family are coming to Cornwall? This certainly isn t going to
end up being a problem later on, is it? (Who are we kidding? This is Poldark.
Everything becomes a problem eventually.) The next question is this: where on
earth did George get a church? How? Is obtaining the church just to make him a
little more popular? That s probably not going to help, but we can t fault him for
trying for it. The wording also suggests that we ll skip forward to the birth of
Elizabeth s baby an heir could just be wishful thinking, but it seems more concrete,
as if the baby is coming or has already come. Finally, The Poldark lands presumably
refer to the Trenwith estate, not Ross Nampara, because that d be a heck of a
change to explain away if Ross and Demelza were suddenly homeless. Date: Sunday,
Oct. 1 Start Time: 9 p.m.
Physical Training Uniforms And The Army
The Army have given me a lot of opportunities and a different way of life. As I
approach retirement, overall the Army has changed in many areas from the time I
joined. There are many people, events and situations that have taken place which
have encouraged me to be successful in the Army. Even though, some times were
fun and other times it was rough, however I would not change anything because it
has made me into the person I am today. The Army overall as a whole has changed.
When I was a Basic Traininig Drill Sergeant the privates had more previliged that
when I went to Basic training. I could remember standing in a line for hours only to
use the public phone for about 10 mintues to speak to your family members. Now,
they use their cell phones all day on Sunday and then turn it in at the end of the day at
formation. Battle Dress uniformswith black boots are now Army Service Uniform
with tan boots. The physical training uniforms has changed about two times since I
ve been in the military. First we wore the grays which was horrible because when it
rained your physical training uniform would stick to you. Then it change to the gray
shirt and black shorts, which is better because it kept the wind off of you and does
not stick to your body unlike the gray uniform. Now, the Army has switched again to
black physical training uniforms which are lighter in weight but have no protection
from the rain during the summer and none during the winter from the wind because

John The Baptist
John the Baptist: The First and Most Important of Jesus Followers
Throughout the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke Jesus is established as the
Messiah and the most prominent holy figure of the faith the Son of God. Yet Jesus
started out as a regular boy who practiced the Jewish faith much the same as every
other Jew around him and admired the priests as righteous men that would help the
Jews follow the word of Yahweh and the Laws of Moses. One such man is John the
Baptist, a priest and prophet that had a significant following, and prophesized the
coming of a Messiah figure. In this paper I will argue that John the Baptist is a
prominent and necessary figure in the Synoptic gospels, a precursor to Jesus who
proceeded to establish Jesus as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Only after John baptized Jesus in the Jordan did God ultimately claim Jesus directly
as His son, saying, This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased
(Matthew 3:17, Mark 1:11). Therefore John the Baptist is established as a necessary
catalyst that establishes Jesus as a Messiah and starts him on the path to being the
most essential figure in the New Testament, and later

One song that excited the crowd greatly is his bill board hit O lets Do It. I feel that
this song was greatly important because of course it showed the ratchet part of Hip
Hop and the punchline Flocka can you be my baby daddy , but it also gave a sense
of togetherness between different ethnicities since this line is greatly appreciated
by Caucasian girls around my age. Being an active listener, this song opened doors
for the idea of family within the crowd. We all could relate in some manner within
this song. However, Waka Flocka did perform 6 other songs, but this was the one
that exemplified the most diversity and togetherness. This has been a turn in Hip
Hop because not all artist create a sense of music that would relate across multiple
ethnicities especially since its Trap music. Throughout the sets, Waka Flocka s
presentation and participating shook the crowd. Withn the lyrics, money, gender
and other themes were touched on, but within his lyrics identity, race and class
wasn t present. However, his performance allowed those of other ethnicities to feel
the way those who come from the slums feel. It gave them perspective or an sense
of being able to relate. As previously stated, I was a huge Waka Flocka fan and that
same punch line always gets, so I was able to share the same moments. Waka Flocka

Least Industrialized Countries By Neocolonialism
I would explain these geographical trends and how most of my clothes come from
the least industrialized countries by neocolonialism. Neocolonialism is when the
most powerful industrialized nations and countries like the United States use their
political and economic power to dominant and use the resources of the least
industrialized countries and nations. Moreover, a lot of my clothes came from least
industrialized countries because the United States can exploit theses countries for
cheap resources and labor. Since they can benefit from cheap labor and resources,
they can also benefit from a lower cost per item made. Thus, the United States saves a
lot of money and resources from taking their production to the least industrialized
countries.

Furthermore, trade is an essential part of a thriving economy and is pertinent for a country to grow and prosper. It would even be argued that the concept of trade is established at a young age, and is exhibited in the school yard through many medias. One of the most common forms that trade takes place is through baseball cards. Moreover, each individual experiences trade during their lifetime, and it is vital for a growing country to participate in trade. Whilst trade can be an incredible assets towards a nation, it can also be one of the strongest foes. The nation of Cubacan speak very clearly on this argument, specifically in regards to the Cuban Embargo issued by the United Statesof America. The concept of trade and its effect on an economy can be examined through the Cuban Embargo due to the United States history with Cuba, the effect on Cuba, and the effect on the United States of America if it were to be ended. Almost all enemies and foes, at one time, would have considered themselves to be good friends, this situation exemplifies the relationship between the United States and Cuba. For instance, in January of 1959 Fidel Castroovertook the Cuban government and President General Fulgencio Batista (U.S. Cuba Reltions, Suddath). However, there are some surprising similarities between their not exactly idyllic childhoods. For starters, both of them essentially had to raise themselves. ZoГ« was neglected by her mother, and Wil had no parents. Neither of them went to school, and they both tried not to draw attention to themselves. However, one of the biggest factors that their early lives shared was the fact that ZoГ« and Wil had to toughen themselves in order to survive. Wil needed to not only learn to avoid people and live on his own, he also had to find food for himself and raise Sister. For this, he needed physical toughness and to learn from his mistakes. My answer may come as a surprise. I think that ZoГ« s childhood was much more difficult than Wil s. My reasoning behind this is that if you think about it, ZoГ« had to not only emotionally deal with her lack of parenting and eventual loss of her mother, dodge her mama s boyfriends hatred, and earn money so she could eat some of the time, she had to give herself an education. But let s not leave Wil out here. He faced some challenges too. I mean he had to find food, right? That was probably pretty difficult, but he also had enough free time on his hands to collect his treasures of nature, carve crazy detailed wood carvings, follow ZoГ«, and raise a deer! Plus, Wil really kind of walked between the raindrops. Nobody ever bothered him, and he wasn t ever badly injured. Even a minor cut could have been infected and killed him, but no such thing occurred. His mother died in childbirth, so the only emotional pain he ever felt was his father leaving, though i doubt he remembers it. With all of these reasons, it seems like the obvious answer is

The opera buffa was a comic opera with a funny story line and light music. Mozart wrote at different levels. In order to have full understanding of the women s roles, it is necessary to understand the social context of women in the 18 century. As this showed the sexual freedom of the 18th century Italy, it was quite common to have extra marital affairs for both men and women. Discretion was the only rule that was demanded by the upper society to which Don Giovanni never adhered. Donna Elvira had a love hate relationship with him. He would not have been able to access her rooms. Donna Anna would have had a waiting room with a man servant or her lady in waiting attending to her. It would have been highly unlikely that she, who had a fiancГ©, put herself in a position of having truly been violated. This is where Mozart is making the point of a woman having to put on social graces. Donna Anna shows her intelligence in her coming down in a fury and singing in the duet with Don Octavio how she wants revenge . In a more symbolic interpretation, perhaps Mozart was doubting Donna Anna as a bride or maybe the opposite. Mozart liked a strong, intelligent woman who set the rules. Donna Anna will not get married until Don Octavio revenges her father. He shows himself to be weaker than she is. This is usually the role of the man, but Mozart reverses the male role as a female role which is a theme he often

In the ruling of Loving V Virginia the judge of the Circuit Court of Caroline County stated his opinion at the court, Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, Malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangements there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the faces shows that he did not intent for the races to mix. However, I believe we are all created equally therefore have every right to choose who you want to marry, have kids with and spend the rest of your life with. In our society people believe that the idea of interracial marriages is calamitous. People can find it strenuous to live with different cultures who have many different preferences. If we look deeper into this controversy issue, the only reason is a different outlook on life. And no matter what race people are, because if they truly love each other, they will have one compromising outlook. Therefore, interracial marriage should never have been prohibited for these reasons. Firstly, the constitutional rights of interracial couples were violated. Secondly, love between adults should regulated by the government or criminalized. Finally, human rights should take precedence over cultural laws Firstly, the

We ve gone from women strictly being classified as housewives to women being discriminated against in leadership positions. Much of the discriminationthat women face is closely related to issues surrounding body image. Just as Christianity has its Catholics and Protestants, and Islam its Sunnis and Shiites, Buddhism is also comprised of various schools and sects. Some scholars separate Buddhist schools into geographical groupings, such as Southern, Eastern and Northern traditions, whereas some prefer to focus on a more tradition specific delineation, such as Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana Buddhism(Cousins 1998, p. 370; Buddhism 2015 ). All traditions accept the fundamental Buddhist doctines of Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path, anatta (absence of soul) and karma (causation), but differ on other significant aspects. This essay will compare and contrast two Buddhist traditions, the Therevada Buddhism of Sri Lanka, and Mahayana Buddhism of China. Theravada Buddhism can also be characterised as representative of the Southern tradition of Buddhism, whereas Mahayana is of the Eastern tradition. This essay will also address how these particular types of Buddhism developed in their respective countries. Prior to the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka in 247 BCE, the cultural environment was characterised by a mix of indigenous (veddha) and Aryan beliefs, influenced by elements of mainland Indian culture (Perera 2013). It was the Indian Emperor Asoka who sent his son, Mahinda, to introduce Buddhism to the Sri Lankan king (Robinson, Johnson Bhikku 2005, p.

But I am sure it is the antithesis of self consciousness. Only one man could claim the title as probably the greatest composer in American history for writing so many unforgettable works: Aaron Copland. He lived a life inspired by many things as well as inspiring people all across the nation, and it really led to the opposite of being drawn into himself, as he described in the quote above. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14 in 1900. He was the youngest of five children to Sarah and Harris Copland. A musical spark came out in Copland already at the age of 11 as he began piano lessons with his sister. His musical talents ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His first major work upon returning to America was Symphony for Organ and Orchestra which he wrote just for the few performances of Nadia Boulanger; the first one in Carnegie Hall in 1925 and another in Boston. As the twenties roared on, Copland began to show how his musical career would truly follow the ever changing style of America. During the 1920 s, Aaron Copland went with the trend and experimented with jazz styles in his music, which proved to be extraordinary in the views of many. His choice for other pieces came through modern music about which he once said, I just happened upon it in the natural course of my musical exploration. This was apparent in the way he would use ideals of Neoclassicism in his Piano Variations. Copland then hit a downfall in about 1936. He wrote a few works which were harder to perform and not taken in by many audiences due to the use of much more advanced techniques which were uncommon for the time. Copland knew a change had to be made because he quickly saw how many composers were working themselves into a vacuum, so he would follow a new path of the more simplistic American way for much of his life. This simple to understand type of writing is what brought audiences back and made Aaron Copland great. He started writing functional music like The Second Hurricane and The Outdoor Adventure for kids, as well as Of Mice and Men, Or Town, North Star, and The

For example, the most popular genres around where I live go from country music to rap and hip hop. One of the biggest factors of how music is developed is the cultural background that it comes from. Ancient tribal societies have used music as a foundation for gatherings and to express history. To people who don t live in the ghetto or a poverty struck area, living in the hood isn t as bad as it seems, but for people that live there, it s terrifying real. The locals were also displeased with the Okie squatter camps that were springing up all around, although race riots were not as big an issue in these places. Another difference was demographics.
