as a ghost and seeks to avenge his father s death, not knowing that this would lead to his death.

life by showing signs of post traumatic stress disorder. King Hamlet s death left a big mark on

African Americans live in the moment using recurring yearly religious beliefs to as a foundation of

In an era where everyone is so concerned about the money, denying a defendant a reasonable

The Silver Bow Creek watershed in southwest Montana encompasses approximately 474 square
miles and forms a portion of the headwaters of the Clark Fork River and ultimately, the Columbia
River (Montana Natural Resource Damage Program, 2009). The site covers about 26 miles of
stream and stream side habitat. Silver Bow Creek was used as a conduit for mining, smelting,
industrial and municipal wastes for more than a hundred years (Weitz, Luxenberg). Rather large

of metals and have been dispersed over the entire flood plain (Weitz, Luxenberg).

Since the beginning of colonization, indigenous people of Canada have been repressed in many
ways by the Westerners. Aboriginal women have been having a really hard time, being not only
aboriginal, but also women in a male dominated society where women are seen as secondary and
don t have all the rights and privileges that men have. We will focus here on the legal discrimination
against indigenous women in Canada that came with the Indian Act of 1876 and the amendment of
1985, how those two events influenced women. We will first study why indigenous women have
been more discriminated than indigenous men, then how the Indian Act reinforced this inequity.
Then we will see how the 1985 amendment came to be, a century later and what are the
consequences of legal discrimination for indigenous women in Canada. We will conclude that, in a
context of discrimination against natives with colonization, the Indian Act made legal injustices in
detriment of indigenous women, and that after years of favouritism against them they finally
gained a bit of justice through the amendment of 1985.

The work of art I chose to write about was The Watermill with the Great Red Roof by Meindert
Hobbema. This painting was made in 1662 1665. I found this piece in Gallery 231, The Anne
Fuller gallery or the European Painting and Sculpture gallery. It is an oil painting on canvas, and
the size of the painting is 32 x 43Вј inches. When I was walking around looking at the different
artworks, and determining which work of art I was going to write about, I stumbled upon The
Watermill with the Great Red Roof. At first glance, it really pulled me in and made me think about
what this paintingmeant. My thoughts about this painting were that it made me feel calm and
relaxed like a Sunday afternoon. The colors were muted greens, browns, oranges, and yellows,
and this painting looked like it was rural landscape, which had very full and dramatic trees. It
rather reminded me of the Disney movie, The Sleeping Beauty, this painting reminded me of the
house Aurora lived in, they both look similar to me. This art piece pulled me in and made me want
to visit the place Meindert Hobbemapainted. The first word that popped in my head looking at
