The Japanese Education System
After the World War II, Japan became a developed country, because the economy grew fast. And as
the first nation had compulsory education up to high school level, Japan used this system help
strengthen the economy and business. The rise of Japan has benefited from attaching importance to
education and attaching importance to the cultivation of qualified personnel. This essay will
discuss the relationship between the Japanese education system and Japanese business culture.
After the world war II, Japanese government begin the education revolution, according to the
traditional Japanese education, the state starts to make Japan became the first country had
compulsory education up to high school level. Araki, the former Minister of the Japanese Ministry
of Foreign Affairs said, From the Meiji era, the development of Japanese society and economy,
especially the post war economic development, has been extraordinarily alarming and has been
valued by the world. And this is substantial evidence to help people link the education and business
culture together.

Ecological Impact Of Fur Trade On American Culture
When the Europeans visitors started coming to North America they hoped to find vast amounts of
gold and silver, but they found something else, which proved to be just as valuable as furs. The
ecological impact of the fur trade on the Indians of the North America demonstrates that the Indians
were not the beneficiaries, but the victims in fur tradewith all the other Europeans countries which
affected them socially, environmentally and economically. French and the English fisherman in
1500 s were the first to purchase fur from the Indians, in exchange the Indians received European
manufactured goods such as knives, guns and steel blades, for example according to the text
Indigenous Peoples of the Arctic, Subarctic, and Northwest Coast. Ed said, That could be fitted to
traditional adzes to cut more efficiently than stone or shell blades, yet initially spurned axe and
hatchet blades because these required a drastic change in motor habits and coordination patterns. 1
Many fishermen abandoned fishing and made voyages to North Americaonly to trade fur. At this
time none of the Europeans nor Frenchmen resided in Canada or along the Northeast coast of North
America, they simply traded and went back... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By the 1750 s almost every Indian man in the Great Lakes region owned a rifle, and Indian women
relied almost completely on other utensils. Most Indians wear clothes manufactured in Europe
rather than leather or fur. During summer, they lived in small villages which often consisted of
several hundred people. In these villages, they gathered fish and grew crops for food. In the winter,
these villages would split up in to small hunting bands. Furthermore Indians started their hunts
earlier in the winter, and focused on animals which produced valuable pelts and they migrated
farther way from the villages.

World History Exam Analysis
The 2017 Advanced Placement World History Exam is a high stakes exam that if passed students
will receive college credit at various collegiate institutions. The foundation of the exam is intended
to assess student s historical thinking skills and their ability to support a historical argument within
six specific historical time periods. Students are required to analyze and interpret historical evidence
and understand historical point of view, all the while, learning the world history content from10,000
BCE to present. Based on this foundation and the overall curriculum that the College Board
requires, I have developed over the past seven years a solid classroom learning community that has
demonstrated success on the national exam. However,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first is the fifty five multiple choice timed section must be completed in fifty five minutes and
the second is the short answer questions (SAQ) students must complete four questions but one
will not be graded. Each element of the writing section is a vital component that will allow
students to demonstrate their ability to apply the historical thinking skills to a specific world
history standard within a specific time period. The structure of the SAQ short answer question I
agree with as it requires students to demonstrate specific identification and analysis, however the
aspect that I do not agree with is the simple fact that students are required to complete four out of
four of the questions but only three will be graded. This brings me to my point of grading and
pacing of the exam, particularly the stimulus based multiple choice questions and the SAQ. If
students are required to directly address one or more of the thematic learning objectives and
respond to a specific primary source, historical argument, nontextual source such as graph, picture
or map data (College Board, 2016), through four questions and each having two components and
then not be scored on one of the questions, why not just limit it to three SAQ questions and place
the extra time within

There could also be a good fit in terms of product fit, with Pfizer being stronger in infant formula
than NestlГ© which is more focused on growing up milks. To help with the costs, NestlГ© said
it would eventually achieve annual synergies of around $160 million, some of which will come
from combining sales forces, but most of these coming from cost reductions. Nestle for example
have recently announced that their sales in their main US and European markets have grown
just 3.1% versus 13% growth in emerging markets, therefore the pull factors outweigh the push
factors. Maybe if a business is unsure of the country they could do a joint venture and therefore
the risk is shared. As shown by the alliance between Starbucks and Tata group. Starbucks has
opted to enter into a strategic alliance with Tata Group as it attempts to establish a position in
the Indian market. On 31 January 2012, Starbucks announced its objective to open 50 outlets in
India by the end of 2012, through a 50 50 joint venture with Tata Global Beverages. The two
partners will invest a total of $80million initially. The need to address and respect potential
cultural issues seems to have been a key factor in deciding to use the joint venture route rather
than set up a separate Starbucks subsidiary in India. The world s third largest retailer, Tesco, says
it has seen a pick up in sales growth

Nature Vs Nurture As A Serial Killer
Historical Background
What causes an individual to become a serial killer? Bio psychologists believe that starting from
birth the human mind is a tabula rasa or blank slate, and the individual learns behaviors and socio
cultural norms from individuals around them. This concept of nature versus nurture was based
upon the idea that it is how you are brought up (nurture) that governs the psychologically significant
aspects of child development and the concept of maturation applies only to the biological. The
theory that explains the nature aspect of the nature versus nurture principle is called the attachment
theory, which views the bond between mother and child as being an innate process that ensures
survival. It is a biological need that has ensured the survival of many species including the human
race; because of the need to protect and be protected humans as a species has been able to endure.
It is also a psychological need to want to be cared for as well as care for others a study done by
Harry Harlow (1950s). The concept of nurture focuses mainly on the effect that the environment has
on the development of human beings and whether it is more important than nature. Several studies
have been generated to try and settle the ongoing debate of nature versus nurture.
Many psychologists agree that nurture play a greater part in the development of a human being.
Studies such as those performed on monozygotic twins (identical), who share the same genetics and

Trucking in the United States

ECON 210 Microeconomics
Economics Research Paper
Abstract: This paper will look at the work market for truck drivers in the United States. The
effects of a shortage and/or surplus of drivers and how the work market effects the country s
economy, and the workers way of life will be broken down. This paper will look at how adding
more jobs to this career also effects the supply and demand of goods, problems of finding qualified
workers, and the chances of an individual getting a job with others competing for the same job.

Something else more experienced drivers are worried about. 10 years ago I loved driving, now I
am scared to drive down the block, says James about the influx of new drivers in the industry, a
driver for Digby Southwest, a trucking company based out of Tucson, AZ. James has refused to
divulge his last name.
Conclusion
In conclusion, to have a healthy economy, goods must be moved to be bought. The trucking
industry has been a leading factor in moving goods since the 1900 s. Without it, the United States
will die in a minimum of 3 days. As for my thoughts on the matter, I believe the government needs
to start deregulating this industry. Many veteran drivers are in their retirement years and we will
need an influx of new drivers to take the helm. But unfortunately, many of these new drivers are
leaving the industry because they cannot handle the pressure put on them by the government. The
American highways are the safest they have ever been, so we need to stop thinking about how safe
we can make the roads, and start thinking about how we can keep these guys in the industry.

We traveled 14 miles to Chimney Rock and it was amazing. This rock is the most famous of all
landmarks of the westward migration. Some say it looks like a tall factory chimney. This is
what is most written about in pioneers journals. Many put the most remarkable object that I ever
saw in their journals. It looked like a tall factory chimney or a chimney from a burnt house.
Charles described it as a Limbless trunk of a gigantic. Indians called it the Tepee or the Wigwam
. After we pass the Rock, we travel for another 75 miles to reach Fort Laramie. Fort Laramie stood
alone the main trail to Oregon and California. Fort Laramie is a emigrant resting place to trappers,

Greco-Christian Beliefs Of Christianity And The Gospel Of...
The Greek Alexander Romance describes the life of Alexander the Great, focusing primarily on
his great military feats as a leader of Greece and highlighting why he is remembered as a great
Greco Roman leader. Similarly, the Gospel of Matthew explains the life of Jesus Christ through his
teachings and miracles, which underline why he is known as the greatest figure from Judeo
Christian culture. Alexander and Jesuseasily compare because they died in their early thirties, were
known as kings, and are remembered for impressive triumphs while on earth. Alexander sought to
build his empire and essentially rule the world through victories on the battlefield and the
conquering of neighboring countries. Jesus sought to destroy evil on earth by establishing God s
Kingdom and teachings in the hearts of all. Comparing the lives of these great Greco Roman and
Judeo Christian leaders highlight the differences in cultural opinion on the highest good in life,
how one obtains that good, and what that means in connection to an afterlife. Judeo Christian and
Greco Roman perspectives on elements of a meaningful life contrast in the sense that Judeo
Christian actions to pursue these elements are motivated by the desire for everlasting life in
heaven, while Greco Roman actions are motivated by the desire for perpetual fame on earth after
one dies.
Both Alexander the Great and Jesus Christ establish relationships with their communities in order
to obtain their respective highest good in life. In an effort to bring salvation for all, Jesus tried to
lead everyone on earth on the path towards the kingdom of heaven. In the beginning of the Gospel
of Matthew, God says that Jesus will, save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). The idea of
salvation is repeated later when Jesus himself announces, He who endures to the end will be saved
suggesting that whoever follows his guidance on redemption will be able to go to heaven (Matthew
10:22). On the other hand in The Greek Alexander Romance, Alexander seeks to obtain the highest
good of power by uniting surrounding empires under his rule and becoming the ruler of the world
(66). In an effort to build unity and trust in him, he fought alongside his men on the front line in
battle.

My answer is CHNOPS or carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus ,and sulfur. These
elements that are listed is the base or structure for each living organism on earth. Carbon is the most
favorable structure because it has a rich chemistry. The chemical structure of the carbon atom lets
it bond with other elements(including itself) in different ways. This ability to bond with elements
with ease is why there are so many creatures on earth. Which is why the study of molecules that
contain carbon is called organic chemistry. Out of the six elements listed earlier there are three of
them are are crucial to create life. Hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon have a lot of abundance
throughout the universe. Shouldn t this abundance of elements be able to create life in the
universe. Yes and No! This should have created life because the six elements should have created
life without a problem. Unless, the planet s ecosystem is not habitable, too hot, cold, or there weren
t enough elements to create a structure. But! Do not worry, there are still some potential in other
elements that can also create life. However, most life on earth is mostly carbon based and these
elements that can potentially create life would not be carbon based. These other elements can

The Realization Of Doublethink In 1984 By George Orwell
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH is one of the party s key phrases. This means that having
uneducated, oblivious people, contributes to the power of the party. The citizens of Oceania must
believe everything the government tells them in order to be controlled. People who refuse to
believe these lies, or try to let people know the truth, are considered enemies of the party. This is
considered thoughtcrime, and anyone who is found guilty is subject to vaporization , and will
never be seen again. In 1984, George Orwell uses characterization of the protagonists, Winston and
Julia, and plot to explain how in a society built upon countless lies, it is a crime to think or spread
the truth. The character construction of Winston Smith is based around his thoughts of truth and
conspiracy. He tries to practice doublethink, but is often unsuccessful. If you want to keep a secret,
you must also hide it from yourself. (Orwell 283). This is a thought of Winston Smith near the end
of the book. This describes the thought process of doublethink, and how one must hide their true
thoughts from themself. When Winston is done being tortured, he begins to hide the truth from
himself. Life, if you looked about you, bore no resemblance not only to the lies that streamed out
of the telescreens, but even to the ideals that the Party was trying to achieve. (Orwell 74). Winston
has this thought while considering whether the proles could ever rebel. This passage is a
description of the contrast

Informative Speech On Snoopy
Madelynn Parrott
Section 21
General Purpose: My general purpose is to inform.
Specific Purpose: Inform my audience about Snoopy.
Central Idea: Snoopy is so special to me because he gives me the realization that I can be myself
despite what others think, he serves as an inspiration to think adventurously, and he gives a
demonstration of how to treat the people closest to me.
Snoopy for the Win
Introduction
How many people, by a show of hands, have a dog or at some point want to get a dog?
I don t have a dog, but if I were to get one, I know exactly which dog I would get. By far, the
coolest dog in the world, cooler than the Robert Downey Jr. and yes, even cooler than James Bond
is of course Charlie Brown s beloved pet, Snoopy.
Snoopy, I believe, is the best dog to ever be drawn (motion with hand) into this world because we
can all relate to him in some way or another. He gives us three tions as I like to call them. What
do I mean by tions? I mean he gives us a realization, he gives inspiration, and he gives us a
demonstration or example to follow.
Transition
Let s first start with how Snoopy gives us a realization.
Body
Snoopy gives us the realization that it s okay to be yourself even when other people don t like it.
He time and time again gets up on Schroeder s piano and dances because that s what he enjoys
doing. Every time Schroder gives him that, I m going to kill you look, Snoopy does get sheepishly

Satisfier
In the Article Doing better but feeling worse: Looking for the best job undermines satisfaction,
researchers studied the satisfaction levels and decision making outcomes between those with
maximizing tendencies compared to those with satisfier tendencies. The study was designed around
the argument that, though maximizers appear to be less happy than satisfiers, are the maximizers
using strategies that objectively result in better outcomes (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006)? Based
on that central argument, two hypotheses were developed for this study. The first hypothesiswas
based on the topics of choices and decision making; it stated that the maximizers, compared to

Another issue area was both the characteristics of the participant sample and the various groups
of participants in the study. The age range that was used for this study, though it ranged from 21
57, was still highly skewed towards a younger sample with a median age of 21. Age is a factor
that could have contributed to lower satisfaction levels because it suggests that this might have
been the first real job search and job itself that many of these individuals had (Iyengar, Wells,
Schwartz, 2006). There could have been more stress and lower satisfaction rates because many of
the participants never had a job relating to their college degree before. Another area of concern
relating to the participants is that the sample was largely female; this could cause a difference in
how the results are relating to the population (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006).
There were also issues with the groups of participants that took part in the study because there
were three groups, T1, T2, and T3, that were involved in the study, but not all of the groups were
tested for all conditions of the study and there were different numbers of participants in each group
as well. Though T2 and T3 stemmed from T1, the groups still had different number of participants
because of the lower response rates (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006). Lastly, a

Participants came forward to share their reflection of the Third Step Prayer. Jean was the first

Analysis Of Wonders Of The Invisible World By Cotton Mather
The short story, Wonders of the Invisible World by Cotton Mather, tells of how the devil is
working around Boston. He tells this story from his own perspective in which he believes the devil
is working in secret, and through the youth. One of the trials used as an example was Martha
Carrier who was found guilty based on the information collected by Cotton Mather. Nathaniel
Hawthorne, writer of the famous Scarlet Letter , writes a short story from the narrator s
perspective, and how he visits his friend called Oberon. Oberon believes that the devil is residing
within his writing and insists to the narrator that he must burn the manuscript to cast the devil out.
The evidence that leads Oberon to believe that the devil is in his writing draws from publishers
refusing to accept his work. In Wonders of the Invisible World, Mather suggests the devil resides in
people who collect in hellish meetings where they discuss how to destroy the kingdom on out
lord Jesus Christ. He uses Martha Carrier as an example of someone who is possessed by the
devil and seeks to corrupt others and do harm to those who follow God. He provides evidence by
bringing witnesses to Carrier s torment, including her children. How the devil is portrayed in
The Devil in the Manuscript is more figurative rather than literal. Oberon believes the devil
possessed his writing because no one wants to publish what he wrote. This is likely less literal
than what Cotton Mather means, and is likely attributed from his ego and belief that his writing
is too great to be his fault. The portrayal of the devil within the Wonders of the Invisible World is
literal, and is inspired through fear and incredibly strict devotion to one religion. Cotton Mather
believes the devil is literally possessing people and using those he possesses to corrupt others. He
uses Martha Carrier as an example of how the devil will do this by bringing in her children to the
trial. The children confessed on trial that not only that they were witches themselves, but that their
mother had made them so. This helped strengthen Mather s argument that the devil is working
through people to corrupt others. The children s confession also helped give support to Mather s
theory

The Pros And Cons Of Cryonics
Cryonics will not be possible in the future. People today view cryonics as unorthodox, but it will be
a matter of is it worth it to spend $200,000 ($400 every year) to have a full body suspension or
even $80,000 for a brain suspension when one may only be partially cognitive(being able to be
conscious or fully aware). With the rapid increase in technology, theoretically, cryonics is
possible, but only if we are talking about a materialistic point of view. The idea is to be able to
download a brainonto a computer. The process is flawed because the cooling of the body
damages part of the brain. With the damaged part of the brain, one could lose personality,
knowledge, speech, and many other aspects of oneself (Harris). From a Christian standpoint, one
could argue that it is useless to do such a thing because why would one want to come back from
heaven? From a secular point of view, it seems that this is the answer to many problems.
Immortality, sickness, epidemics, and extinction are all things that could come about or be
prevented.
While the process of downloading one s mind onto a computer seems difficult to understand, one
must know the process of being cryogenically frozen. First, the body must be taken while ... Show

The Christian point of view would definitely end this possibility of life after life indefinitely. Still,
it is important to understand that God put humans on the earth to have dominion over it. Humans
should try and stretch the limits of science and social norms. Cryonics is definitely a stretch, but
many look at new concepts as impossible. Most major discoveries came from people willing to
push the idea of a better more efficient world. Cryonics is almost indefinitely impossible which in
turn, can help one to focus on other things while humans still exist, such as finding ways now to
cure diseases, help the poor, heal those not only with illnesses but those who need emotional and

What Is The Striders Poem
Whereas for Ramanujan the animal is not mere a symbol caged in human world rather it is a
messenger of spirituality and thus of ultimate freedom. In his most celebrated and discussed poem
The Striders Ramanujan forcefully puts forward the inevitability and indispensability of animals
and insects in our life when he deploys a water bug as the metaphor to represent his poetic ideas:
Thin stemmed, bubble eyed water bugs
See them perch on the dry capillary legs
Weightless on the ripple skin of a stream (The Striders, p. 03. At Poli Ready, 69)
Here, the water bug is striding the flowing stream with its thin legs in the running water maintaining
the balance. Spiritual connotations of this instance of the bug maintaining the balance on running
water tell of its harmony with nature and adaptability to life better than that of humans. Such
poems, wherein Ramanujan celebrates his past mingled with animal world, speak of poet s self
reflexivity and craving for some lost values.
Nevertheless, the new age typical post colonial writers like Adiga do not show ... Show more

Oppression In Plato s The Jumping Bean
In the understanding we have to take ourselves out the equation to completely see both sides of
idea. The idea of oppression is seen as a thing of pass and not relevant to current century. The
funny thing is that being is hard for people living a specific reality of life to understand the issue
and its effects on humans around them. You see many of us are like Plato describes as prisoners
to a cave that is filled with one perspective of the world of them. Instead of breaking the chains of
society because we are comfortable. Oppression is made of many different chains that are
known as social norms that control our ideas, beliefs, and even feeling. The Jumping Bean is
amazing example of oppression among the Chicano/a culture that is depicted explicitly through
the eyes of the characters of the story. The reality of the characters are being changed and
challenged which is clouding their ability to see pass the social norm for their culture. In
examining, the work The Jumping Bean you learn of the parents of Maria and siblings are
prisoners to the society of the time period. The father is a hard working that is being tortured by
his own co workers because of his cultural background. They father a man that is sticking to the
social norm for his culture of taking whatever job you can get to take care of family to provide.
The sad thing is that he believes that he can only be a prisoner to work his does. The father doesn

Money as a Motivator
Some people argue that money is a main motivator through business and job opportunity, but is not
always completely true as there are others factors to considers such as working conditions,
environment and the peoples we work with. This essay discuss the arguments that are both for and
against money being the key motivator in Singapore.
In most organisation, money is often seen as a prime motivator for employee in the government

objective goals and productivity, however, following the shifting of economic conditions and social

The productivity or added value of the unit is the ultimate output measure and this is a fair
reflection of a employee s ability to gain results through people.
The best people to judge how effectively a leader is leading are the followers, hence the strong
emphasis on behavioural assessments, based on capability frameworks and 360Вє feedback. The
resulting summary of perceptions is also an output measure of leadership effectiveness, since the
style and behaviour of leaders will affect morale and motivation. Good systems of feedback will
give more than a mere evaluation, but through open comments offer examples that enable
individuals to relate to the reality of how they are seen.
Conditions to maximise motivation
To determine how much an employee motivated in the organisation culture and working
environment, a simple survey can be an effective tool for measuring the factors between
organisation and employee s understanding.
1.Do I know what is expected of me at work?
2.Do I have the materials and equipment I need to do my work right?
3.At work, do I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day?
4.In the last seven days have I received recognition or praise for good work? 5.Does my supervisor,

The Cause of the Syrian civil war was the people that wanted a change in government, so they
protested. In 2011, successful uprisings that became known as the Arab Spring toppled Tunisia s
and Egypt s presidents. This gave hope to Syrian pro democracy activists. That March, peaceful
protests erupted in Syriaas well, after 15 boys were detained and tortured for writing graffiti in
support of the Arab Spring. One of the boys, a 13 year old, was killed after having been brutally
tortured. The Syrian government, led by President Bashar al Assad, responded to the protests by
killing hundreds of demonstrators and imprisoning many more. In July 2011, defectors from the

Boom! The kinetic effect of a two thousand pound GBU 31 military designated MK 84 bomb,
possibly with a BLU 109 penetrator on the nose cone with an embedded global positioning
system guidance kit provides obvious visible damage somebody, or something, just fractured
into smaller pieces. The same is not necessarily the case with bellicose actions in the cyber
dimension at least not at first look. Senior leaders as a whole have largely ignored cyber warfare
s catastrophic potential due to the initial invisible physical effects and huge costs associated with
protecting our systems and information. As our reliance on technology grows as exponentially as
the technology improves, more people are finally showing an awareness of the silent boom s threat
and its actual fracturing potential, in part due to protagonists like Richard A. Clarke and Robert K.
Knake and their continued warn of cyber wars devastating potential for first, second, and tertiary
effects.
Clarke and Knake use a mixed method research approach in Cyber War to support their hypothesis
that offensive prowess is meaningless without solid defense in cyberspace, and that the United
States need immediately fix our defensive cyber shortfalls, or face apocalyptic doom. Specifically,
the authors define cyber war as actions by a nation state to penetrate another nation s computers or
networks for the purposes of causing damage or disruption. This infers that they are really talking

The Effects Of Nuclear Power On The World
Deadly source of energy
There are so many sources of energy in the world. Many of these sources are abundant in the
nature and will not be extinct from the world. Solar, wind, water are gift of the nature to the
humans. We have been using these natural resources for a long time. But, we have switched into
other forms for energy resources, especially nuclear power. Nuclear power/plants have been
increasing since the last decade. The main reason why the nuclear power has been used widely is
due to their low emission of CO2 to the environment. But, the radiation due to the nuclear power
plants is much deadly than the CO2 generated from any other sources of energy. There is no need
of such deadly form of energy. We need to close down all the... Show more content on

Very high radiation doses can destroy body functions and lead to death within 60 days. The
effects of routine releases of radioactivity from nuclear plants depend somewhat on how the
spent fuel is handled. A typical estimate is that they may reduce our life expectancy by 15
minutes (AMASS). A small amount of radiation can even lead to so many serious health risks it
can neither be long term or short term.. It has been proved by scientist that, if we breathe in
radioactive elements for the explosion or leaking of nuclear power station can lead to the lung
cancers or sudden death due to breathing difficulties. Studies show that people who are exposed to
excess radiation had long term cancer risks or cancers. (Christoduleas, John P, et al)

Poverty And Homelessness
Poverty and homelessness are very serious problems in the United States. In January of 2013 the
count of people identified as homeless was larger than 600,000 (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). Many
factors go into what makes this population so large, however this paper will focus on how much
race plays a role in homelessnessand poverty.
Systems (Ecological) Theory Systems theory is a perspective that places emphasis on
understanding how people fit into their environments (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). In systems
theory if a specific person, let s call them Greg, has one system that s not functioning properly,
then the rest of their systems will most likely not work as well (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). Greg is

White homeless women had higher rates of hospitalization than homeless women of color (Jones,
2016). When talking about poverty, which is very obviously related to homelessness, people of
color are far more likely to be in poverty than white people. In 2012 the median income for
households of people of color, $33,321 for black households, and $39,005 for latinx households,
was much lower than white households, $57,009 (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). This means that
households of color earned less than two thirds less than white households (Segal, Gerdes, Sue,
2016). If people of color are making less than white people, and face discrimination in
employment as well as housing, then it s obvious why they are more likely to be in poverty and
experience homelessness. To combat the discrimination that homeless people face, social
workers often must push for a change in a way that will allow for one of their main systems,
security, to be stable. One example of how this is done is by doing something that s called rapid
re housing. Rapid re housing is the process of immediately removing families out of homelessness
and into permanent housing by aiding in deposits, rent, and utilities (Homelessness, 2015). Before
rapid re housing they would place people in run down homes for at maximum of two years. Not
only does rapid re housing cost less, but it has an 85% outcome of households being stably housed
after the assistance ends (Johnston Kunkel, 2014).

Congratulations, Stanley! The play, A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams starts with
basically an introduction of the characters and Blanche showing up to visit the home of her sister
Stella. Stella lives with her husband, Stanley in a shabby two room flat in New Orleans. Blanche
is dressed like she is going to a cocktail party in the garden district (95), but really, she is down and
out. She pretends to be coming to visit, but she has no place else to go because she has lost the

the score or even possibly to pull ahead. He gives Stella all the dirt he has collected on Blanche.
He tells her the Flamingo Hotel threw her out and she s practically was told by the Major to get

of a seventeen year old boy she d gotten mixed up with! (135). When Stella asks Stanley if he

all that stuff and let my best friend get caught! (136). Stella said she did not believe him, but it
gave her a great deal of doubt about believing Blanche and Stanley gets points and moves slightly
past Blanche s game piece on the game board. After dinner Stanley makes another move ahead
on the game board by sweetly telling Stella that it s gonna be all right after she goes and after

remember the way that it was? Them nights we had together? God, honey, it s gonna be sweet

that Stanley has convinced Stella that he is telling the truth and he gives her reason to doubt
Blanche now and in the future. Stanley then makes a move that would surely lose him points and
he would have to move fifteen spaces backward on the game board were it not for what

Patience Required for the Writing Process
The writing process is, for me, a tedious procedure that requires a great deal of thought and proper
planning. At one point I used to think that good writers were talented individuals who understood
things like grammar and composition but over the years I ve come to believe that good writers
have patience. The kind of patience you would have to have when you re staring at a screen for
ages, trying to put a few thousand sentences together and have it all mean something. In my eyes,
writingis far from its own reward; it is a means to an end that can leave you irritated or angry. I
would argue that those who enjoy writing are not doing it right, but I suppose we are all
individuals with our own methods this is mine. First and foremost, before I begin a project, I take
a minute to think about what I am writing about. This might seem pretty elementary, but when I
say a minute, I m really talking about hours, even days if I can afford to. This sort of thinking can
occur anywhere, but it usually happens right in front of my computer and as one would expect, it
is absolutely exhausting. During this time, I might poke at my keyboard and attempt to put a few
words together, but these early musings rarely make the final cut. That being said, I would like to
think that my approach is pretty straightforward, but some might view it as a bit manic. I can say
with absolute certainty, that anxiety is my worst enemy when it comes to writing especially if what

Abortion Abortion is one of the most personal, widely discussed, and controversial topics in
American culture today. In most cases, people on both sides of the argument take worthy and
moral positions. Who can blame someone who wishes to prevent the termination of a teen
pregnancy to save the life of an unborn child? On the other hand, who can blame anyone who
advocates the soon to be mother s right to make such a personal, heartbreaking choice? No
matter what she chooses to do, should anyone have the legal right to force her to bear an

A large number of women have suffered from the detrimental effects of unsanitary operations,
and even attempts at the most dangerous form of abortion: self abortion. The Roe vs. Wade
decision won women the right to have an abortion. This legalization was a public health victory
for women with its preceding introduction of antibiotics and antiseptics for use in abortions. Roe

One important topic debated by many pro choice and pro lifers, is: at what point does a fetus
become human? This is one of the determining factors of the controversy surrounding abortion.
Pro life activists claim that life begins at conception, stressing the idea that a human embryo is
self developing. And since it cannot become anything other than human, it is a living human.
Albeit a fetus may technically of human origin, it does not have the ability to conduct a
conscious thought. At that point, the biological qualities of an embryo are equivalent to a
sesame seed, or an egg. Can we really say that every time we eat an egg, it is like eating an
unborn child? According to pro lifers, yes, and they are technically correct. An egg is a
completely fertilized, undeveloped infant. Yet the average American eats them on a weekly basis.
How can that be justified by the pro life campaign? It cannot. For one to truly LOSE a life, one

Recombivax HBV Vaccine Analysis
Hepatitis B immune globulin remains a central component of prophylaxis in HBV infected patients
undergoing liver transplantation. Its monotherapy given at a high dosage can prevent recurrence in
65% to 80% of patients. The cost of long term prophylaxis with high dose HBIG is extremely high
and combination therapy using HBIG with a nucleoside analog is more uniformly effective. The
current protocol is combination of HBIG with a nucleoside analog after liver transplantation. These
combination protocols have reduced the rate of virologic breakthrough to 10% or less (Terrault and
Vyas, 2003).
Prevention of primary infection by vaccination is also an important strategy to decrease the risk of
chronic HBV infection and its subsequent complications. The hepatitis B vaccine contains a
protein(antigen) that stimulates the body(immune system) to make protective antibodies or adaptive
immunity against the virus (Goldstein et al.,2005). The use vaccines like Engerix B and

knew that the word believe had a deeper implication than just agreeing to something. More
importantly, studying some on the etymology and evolution of believe has allowed me to
understand scholars and theologians better. A few years ago, I heard a statement that relates to
the original intention of the word believe. From a response online, it stated that ... [An
individual] do[es] what [one] ... believe[s,] and ... [an individual] believe[s] what ... [one] do[es]
( You Do What You ... ). This statement shows how strong the meaning of the word believe is
and the whole purpose of believing anything. Not only that but it also resonates with the original
meaning of believe, explaining that whatever a person believes, that is what the persons acts on
or is shaped by. Overall, I do not believe that the word believe has lost its intended meaning. In
fact, many of us have probably heard it used in

Age Of Jackson Essay
The Age of Jackson, written by Arthur M. Schlesinger, focuses on the long lasting effects of
Andrew Jackson on democracy and American politics. The novel starts off with Jackson s life
story, a lowerclass boy from the west, raised by a single mother. After finding financial success on
his own, he became well known for his military exploits, being a crucial factor in the Battle of New
Orleans, and the acquisition of Florida from the Spanish. After the brief account of Jacksons life, the
author moves on to his administration, and stays with that topic for most of the book.
By the time Jackson came to power, the nation had been drastically changed by the Industrial
Revolution. The simple, pastoral, agricultural lifestyle was being replaced ... Show more content on

Jackson, uneducated as he was, was a very shrewd man. Using the spoils system, he all but totally
replaced the cabinet from the previous administration. By rewarding the men who had helped him
reach his current state, he made it clear that the middleclass could improve their condition. The
cabinet was no longer filled with wealthy men of status, but instead of more every day people.
Nicholas Biddle proved great opposition to President Jackson. He wanted to re charter the
National Bank; however, many people were against Biddle s decision. This was particularly true
of people in the west. They were still wary of a national bank, after the Panic of 1819, which
involved mishaps in land speculation. Jackson shared the predominately western opinion that
several small banks would be a better service to the nation than one, large bank would. A major
problem with a national bank would lie in it s willingness only to make loans to the wealthy. This
would be of no use to the middleclass. Jackson would not allow Biddle to gain any more power
than he already had.
Jackson did not have the characteristics of a great president. First of all, he was notorious for being
to rash and impetuous. As a military leader, he often disobeyed direct orders (Florida campaign),
and acted on instinct rather than reason. He also had many enemies among colleagues, including
John Calhoun, John Quincy Adams,

Why Accountability Is Not Something I
Crucial Accountability Accountability is not something I have devoted much thought to or
pondered about in detail. While reading Crucial Accountability, I started to recollect experiences
in my past where accountability needed to be addressed. I realized that at times, I unconsciously
held accountability conversations that were successful; and at other times, thoughtfully pursued
accountability conversations that resulted in disaster. I was not aware until I started reading the
text that a method exists for achieving success with accountability conversations. Also, I was
unaware that my viewpoint and preconceptions could be the reason why some of my
accountability conversations have gone wrong. I did not hold myself accountable to preparation
before I held others accountable to their infractions! Prior to reading the text, I thought
informing someone of how I felt about an infraction was a means to let him or her know I did
not like what he or she did, not as a means for changing a pattern or behavior because he or she
needed to be held accountable. However, after reading the text, I realized that I have a lot more
responsibility and influence when having an accountability conversation. It never occurred to me
that the reason for a failed outcome could be the way I approached and confronted someone.
Probably the most profound lesson I learned was that I should be putting myself in the other person
s position to understand their perspective. I am guilty of jumping

1 Choose three basic needs and give a personal example of how you use communication to fulfill
each of the needs. (Chapter 1)
Three basic needs include affection, inclusion and control following which Maslow has proposed
his hierarchy of needs.
First, Physiological needs which include food, water and oxygen. In order to buy food and
water, I have to communicate with grocery store s manager and clerks, I have to communicate
with cashiers to pay for my shopping. Also, I need to go to the doctor s office regularly to check
my health. I have to communicate with the secretary to book an appointment, talk to the nurses
about my concerns and finally talk to the doctor about my problem. Moreover, I may need to go to
the lab for some blood tests or do the ultrasounds. They all need communication with staffs, doctors
as well as communicating with pharmacy assistants or pharmacist to get my medications.
Second, safety needs which include comfort, security, freedom from fear, freedom from violence.
For example, once there was a rubbery from our locker. So we informed the security guard of our
condo and after filling the report form, we called the police so that they could find the thief.
Finally, belongingness and love needs which include affiliation, acceptance and belongingness. For
instance, I m really interested in the

SUSTAINABILITY ESSAY Explore and comment on how textiles and fashion designers have
contributed and approached fundamental issues within ecological design. INTRODUCTION
Ecological design is the sole responsibility of innovation and the creativity of products and objects
that will sustain our society and future societies. It is critical that we change the way sustainable
design is perceived and interpreted, by beginning to develop an understanding of the history and
journey from Green design into Sustainable design as well as looking at the direction in which we
would like it to progress to. This requires a comprehension of what these initial terms mean and
how this relates to their cultural, social and economic context, all of... Show more content on

Finally, scrutinizing the information to form a conclusive paragraph reevaluating whether future
designers are considering these issues and whether a new sustainable design mentality is evolving.
GREEN, ECOLOGICAL OR SUSTAINABLE Concepts of ecological design are not necessarily
new or modern; it s the nature of re inventing and re visiting that the term is founded upon. But
there are differences between the terms, some more subtle than others. Typically Green design is
associated with getting the environmental message out there to the masses, focusing more on the
environmental issues and looking into plentiful natural resources. The key words being masses and
plentiful, instead of a less is more mentality that starts to be adopted in Ecological design this
suggests a substitution of product to fill that consumerism addiction. Green design became
particularly popular in the 1980 s, due to a foundation built by the environmental movement of the
late 60 s and 70 s, which sparked a growing awareness into environmental issues; it becomes a
pinnacle point of where Ecological design meets the mainstream. In an extract from Ecological
Design: A new critique, Pauline Madge (1997, p.44) informs us that because green encapsulated
green politics, current environmental concerns, and identified them with a specific colour, in an
unprecedented way, green design arrived with a ready made symbolism: green products, green
packaging, and numerous books

Friday Night Lights Byh.g Bissinger
Sports are so glorified in some areas that schools will put athletics in front of academics. This is
exactly what happened the book Friday Night Lights by H.G Bissinger. BIssinger explains that
the town of Odessa houses the school Permian where everyone grows up on football. The school
and the town give so much praise to the football team that some football players couldn t care
less about class and eventually the teachers don t care how those players do in class. Mount
Vernon is a place where the students are expected to do well in class first and everything else is
second. The school has extracurriculars, but knows the school s main job is to give students an
education. Permian and Mount Vernon are opposites on the scale of sports and... Show more content

Permian doesn t look forward to kids doing great things in academics.
Mt. Vernon does have other things to look forward to in the town so they would never spend 5.6
million on a stadium. The booster club is only willing to buy jerseys for the team every four
years, and those are varsity only jerseys. That means the freshman are wearing jerseys up to ten
years old. In fact the school did its first major improvement to the field in decades. The school
put in brand new bleachers into the side of a hill because they don t want to spend the money to
make a real stadium. The money for these bleachers didn t come from the town directly either. It
came from hard work of fundraising and the players and players parents doing most of the work.
Bryce Cox, a Mt. Vernon lineman, drew a picture that sold for five hundred dollars. It is all
going to the football program because the program is doing anything to get money for better gear
and more opportunities on the football field. With attention all the time on the football team,
some players think football is a job and everything else is in the way. Everything else includes
school. Classes take a back seat as players go to class, but zone out to focus on football. All that
matters to them in winning on Friday nights because that is what has been instilled in them. Boobie
hated classes between the friday pep rally and the game and

Ptsd Trauma
Chapter five discussed trauma and stress disorders. Two of these disorders being acute stress
disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder. For this week s discussion we were asked to discuss
what types of events in modern society might trigger these disorders. I feel that many events could
trigger this type of disorder. The initial events that come to mind are the Iraq war, Hurricane
Matthew that is affecting the east coast currently, the San Bernardino terrorist attack, death of a
child, and being a victim of a sexual assault. I think that all of these can be extremely stressful for
an individual. However, people on the outside may view one event to be more traumatic than
another. Some things that may help relieve the stresses of modern society... Show more content on

I think that the only way that you would be able to handle that is to go through modeling to re
teach your mind that those instances do not have to always associate with the traumatic event.
Although this may take a large amount of time since it would be hard to control when a
flashback is going to occur and how long they will be stuck in that frame of mind. Possibly
hypnosis could help with this. I think some younger kids know that if they throw a fit about
something or threaten violence they will get what they want. I think that this is hard to deal
with. How do you gauge if the threats are real or if it just that, a threat. It would be terrible if you
thought it was and they really did follow through. This is probably learned at a young age. I
know that for myself if I act like I can t do something or if I do it wrong my mom will help me.
Which is terrible, at the age of 26, still acting like I don t know how to boil water or something so
simple just so my mom will jump in and help me but I continue to find myself doing. However, I
do think that having your parents available to help you when you need help is extremely beneficial

Ecological Impact Of Fur Trade On American Culture When the Europeans visitors started coming to North America they hoped to find vast amounts of gold and silver, but they found something else, which proved to be just as valuable as furs. The ecological impact of the fur trade on the Indians of the North America demonstrates that the Indians were not the beneficiaries, but the victims in fur tradewith all the other Europeans countries which affected them socially, environmentally and economically. French and the English fisherman in 1500 s were the first to purchase fur from the Indians, in exchange the Indians received European manufactured goods such as knives, guns and steel blades, for example according to the text Indigenous Peoples of the Arctic, Subarctic, and Northwest Coast. Students are required to analyze and interpret historical evidence and understand historical point of view, all the while, learning the world history content from10,000 BCE to present. The structure of the SAQ short answer question I agree with as it requires students to demonstrate specific identification and analysis, however the aspect that I do not agree with is the simple fact that students are required to complete four out of four of the questions but only three will be graded. This brings me to my point of grading and pacing of the exam, particularly the stimulus based multiple choice questions and the SAQ. If students are required to directly address one or more of the thematic learning objectives and respond to a specific primary source, historical argument, nontextual source such as graph, picture or map data (College Board, 2016), through four questions and each having two components and then not be scored on one of the questions, why not just limit it to three SAQ questions and place the extra time within ... Maybe if a business is unsure of the country they could do a joint venture and therefore the risk is shared. As shown by the alliance between Starbucks and Tata group. Starbucks has opted to enter into a strategic alliance with Tata Group as it attempts to establish a position in the Indian market. On 31 January 2012, Starbucks announced its objective to open 50 outlets in India by the end of 2012, through a 50 50 joint venture with Tata Global Beverages. • 7. Nature Vs Nurture As A Serial Killer Historical Background What causes an individual to become a serial killer? Bio psychologists believe that starting from birth the human mind is a tabula rasa or blank slate, and the individual learns behaviors and socio cultural norms from individuals around them. This concept of nature versus nurture was based upon the idea that it is how you are brought up (nurture) that governs the psychologically significant aspects of child development and the concept of maturation applies only to the biological. The theory that explains the nature aspect of the nature versus nurture principle is called the attachment theory, which views the bond between mother and child as being an innate process that ensures survival. It is a biological need that has ensured the survival of many species including the human race; because of the need to protect and be protected humans as a species has been able to endure. It is also a psychological need to want to be cared for as well as care for others a study done by Harry Harlow (1950s). The concept of nurture focuses mainly on the effect that the environment has on the development of human beings and whether it is more important than nature. Several studies have been generated to try and settle the ongoing debate of nature versus nurture. Many psychologists agree that nurture play a greater part in the development of a human being. James has refused to divulge his last name. Conclusion In conclusion, to have a healthy economy, goods must be moved to be bought. The trucking industry has been a leading factor in moving goods since the 1900 s. Without it, the United States will die in a minimum of 3 days. As for my thoughts on the matter, I believe the government needs to start deregulating this industry. Many veteran drivers are in their retirement years and we will need an influx of new drivers to take the helm. But unfortunately, many of these new drivers are leaving the industry because they cannot handle the pressure put on them by the government. The American highways are the safest they have ever been, so we need to stop thinking about how safe we can make the roads, and start thinking about how we can keep these guys in the industry. • 12. Greco-Christian Beliefs Of Christianity And The Gospel Of... The Greek Alexander Romance describes the life of Alexander the Great, focusing primarily on his great military feats as a leader of Greece and highlighting why he is remembered as a great Greco Roman leader. Similarly, the Gospel of Matthew explains the life of Jesus Christ through his teachings and miracles, which underline why he is known as the greatest figure from Judeo Christian culture. Alexander and Jesuseasily compare because they died in their early thirties, were known as kings, and are remembered for impressive triumphs while on earth. Alexander sought to build his empire and essentially rule the world through victories on the battlefield and the conquering of neighboring countries. Jesus sought to destroy evil on earth by establishing God s Kingdom and teachings in the hearts of all. Comparing the lives of these great Greco Roman and Judeo Christian leaders highlight the differences in cultural opinion on the highest good in life, how one obtains that good, and what that means in connection to an afterlife. Judeo Christian and Greco Roman perspectives on elements of a meaningful life contrast in the sense that Judeo Christian actions to pursue these elements are motivated by the desire for everlasting life in heaven, while Greco Roman actions are motivated by the desire for perpetual fame on earth after one dies. Both Alexander the Great and Jesus Christ establish relationships with their communities in order to obtain their respective highest good in life. In an effort to bring salvation for all, Jesus tried to lead everyone on earth on the path towards the kingdom of heaven. In the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew, God says that Jesus will, save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). The idea of salvation is repeated later when Jesus himself announces, He who endures to the end will be saved suggesting that whoever follows his guidance on redemption will be able to go to heaven (Matthew 10:22). On the other hand in The Greek Alexander Romance, Alexander seeks to obtain the highest good of power by uniting surrounding empires under his rule and becoming the ruler of the world (66). In an effort to build unity and trust in him, he fought alongside his men on the front line in battle. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My answer is CHNOPS or carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus ,and sulfur. These elements that are listed is the base or structure for each living organism on earth. Carbon is the most favorable structure because it has a rich chemistry. The chemical structure of the carbon atom lets it bond with other elements(including itself) in different ways. This ability to bond with elements with ease is why there are so many creatures on earth. Which is why the study of molecules that contain carbon is called organic chemistry. Out of the six elements listed earlier there are three of them are are crucial to create life. Hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon have a lot of abundance throughout the universe. • 15. The Realization Of Doublethink In 1984 By George Orwell IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH is one of the party s key phrases. This means that having uneducated, oblivious people, contributes to the power of the party. The citizens of Oceania must believe everything the government tells them in order to be controlled. People who refuse to believe these lies, or try to let people know the truth, are considered enemies of the party. This is considered thoughtcrime, and anyone who is found guilty is subject to vaporization , and will never be seen again. In 1984, George Orwell uses characterization of the protagonists, Winston and Julia, and plot to explain how in a society built upon countless lies, it is a crime to think or spread the truth. The character construction of Winston Smith is based around his thoughts of truth and conspiracy. He tries to practice doublethink, but is often unsuccessful. If you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself. (Orwell 283). This is a thought of Winston Smith near the end of the book. This describes the thought process of doublethink, and how one must hide their true thoughts from themself. When Winston is done being tortured, he begins to hide the truth from himself. Life, if you looked about you, bore no resemblance not only to the lies that streamed out of the telescreens, but even to the ideals that the Party was trying to achieve. (Orwell 74). The study was designed around the argument that, though maximizers appear to be less happy than satisfiers, are the maximizers using strategies that objectively result in better outcomes (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006)? The age range that was used for this study, though it ranged from 21 57, was still highly skewed towards a younger sample with a median age of 21. Age is a factor that could have contributed to lower satisfaction levels because it suggests that this might have been the first real job search and job itself that many of these individuals had (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006). There could have been more stress and lower satisfaction rates because many of the participants never had a job relating to their college degree before. Another area of concern relating to the participants is that the sample was largely female; this could cause a difference in how the results are relating to the population (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006). There were also issues with the groups of participants that took part in the study because there were three groups, T1, T2, and T3, that were involved in the study, but not all of the groups were tested for all conditions of the study and there were different numbers of participants in each group as well. Though T2 and T3 stemmed from T1, the groups still had different number of participants because of the lower response rates (Iyengar, Wells, Schwartz, 2006). Lastly, a ... • 21. Analysis Of Wonders Of The Invisible World By Cotton Mather The short story, Wonders of the Invisible World by Cotton Mather, tells of how the devil is working around Boston. He tells this story from his own perspective in which he believes the devil is working in secret, and through the youth. One of the trials used as an example was Martha Carrier who was found guilty based on the information collected by Cotton Mather. Nathaniel Hawthorne, writer of the famous Scarlet Letter , writes a short story from the narrator s perspective, and how he visits his friend called Oberon. Oberon believes that the devil is residing within his writing and insists to the narrator that he must burn the manuscript to cast the devil out. The evidence that leads Oberon to believe that the devil is in his writing draws from publishers refusing to accept his work. In Wonders of the Invisible World, Mather suggests the devil resides in people who collect in hellish meetings where they discuss how to destroy the kingdom on out lord Jesus Christ. He uses Martha Carrier as an example of someone who is possessed by the devil and seeks to corrupt others and do harm to those who follow God. He provides evidence by bringing witnesses to Carrier s torment, including her children. How the devil is portrayed in The Devil in the Manuscript is more figurative rather than literal. Oberon believes the devil possessed his writing because no one wants to publish what he wrote. This is likely less literal than what Cotton Mather means, and is likely attributed from his ego and belief that his writing is too great to be his fault. The portrayal of the devil within the Wonders of the Invisible World is literal, and is inspired through fear and incredibly strict devotion to one religion. Cotton Mather believes the devil is literally possessing people and using those he possesses to corrupt others. He uses Martha Carrier as an example of how the devil will do this by bringing in her children to the trial. The children confessed on trial that not only that they were witches themselves, but that their mother had made them so. This helped strengthen Mather s argument that the devil is working through people to corrupt others. The children s confession also helped give support to Mather s theory ... With the rapid increase in technology, theoretically, cryonics is possible, but only if we are talking about a materialistic point of view. The idea is to be able to download a brainonto a computer. The process is flawed because the cooling of the body damages part of the brain. With the damaged part of the brain, one could lose personality, knowledge, speech, and many other aspects of oneself (Harris). From a Christian standpoint, one could argue that it is useless to do such a thing because why would one want to come back from heaven? From a secular point of view, it seems that this is the answer to many problems. Immortality, sickness, epidemics, and extinction are all things that could come about or be prevented. In his most celebrated and discussed poem The Striders Ramanujan forcefully puts forward the inevitability and indispensability of animals and insects in our life when he deploys a water bug as the metaphor to represent his poetic ideas: Thin stemmed, bubble eyed water bugs See them perch on the dry capillary legs Weightless on the ripple skin of a stream (The Striders, p. 03. Spiritual connotations of this instance of the bug maintaining the balance on running water tell of its harmony with nature and adaptability to life better than that of humans. Ferris portrays Pope as a loner and a person who underestimates everyone else in the company due to the workers opinions. In the passage following this quote, the readers see that Joe has led a horrible life he is guilty of; he believes that being part of another group will lead him to make the same decisions he did in the past. He unknowingly took part in bullying someone and he did not do anything to prevent it, thus making him a bad person. This proves that everyone has both good and bad within themselves. Because of these reasons, he avoids any group work. However, Joe did not do any wrong to the employees, yet they judge without a slight hesitation without knowing the full story. This is what people do on a regular basis. Joe s past consists of bullying, harassment and prison. • 28. Cyber Warfare And Its Effects On The World Boom! The kinetic effect of a two thousand pound GBU 31 military designated MK 84 bomb, possibly with a BLU 109 penetrator on the nose cone with an embedded global positioning system guidance kit provides obvious visible damage somebody, or something, just fractured into smaller pieces. The same is not necessarily the case with bellicose actions in the cyber dimension at least not at first look. Senior leaders as a whole have largely ignored cyber warfare s catastrophic potential due to the initial invisible physical effects and huge costs associated with protecting our systems and information. As our reliance on technology grows as exponentially as the technology improves, more people are finally showing an awareness of the silent boom s threat and its actual fracturing potential, in part due to protagonists like Richard A. Clarke and Robert K. Knake and their continued warn of cyber wars devastating potential for first, second, and tertiary effects. Clarke and Knake use a mixed method research approach in Cyber War to support their hypothesis that offensive prowess is meaningless without solid defense in cyberspace, and that the United States need immediately fix our defensive cyber shortfalls, or face apocalyptic doom. Specifically, the authors define cyber war as actions by a nation state to penetrate another nation s computers or networks for the purposes of causing damage or disruption. We have been using these natural resources for a long time. But, we have switched into other forms for energy resources, especially nuclear power. Nuclear power/plants have been increasing since the last decade. The main reason why the nuclear power has been used widely is due to their low emission of CO2 to the environment. In January of 2013 the count of people identified as homeless was larger than 600,000 (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). When talking about poverty, which is very obviously related to homelessness, people of color are far more likely to be in poverty than white people. In 2012 the median income for households of people of color, $33,321 for black households, and $39,005 for latinx households, was much lower than white households, $57,009 (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). This means that households of color earned less than two thirds less than white households (Segal, Gerdes, Sue, 2016). If people of color are making less than white people, and face discrimination in employment as well as housing, then it s obvious why they are more likely to be in poverty and experience homelessness. To combat the discrimination that homeless people face, social workers often must push for a change in a way that will allow for one of their main systems, security, to be stable. One example of how this is done is by doing something that s called rapid re housing. Rapid re housing is the process of immediately removing families out of homelessness and into permanent housing by aiding in deposits, rent, and utilities (Homelessness, 2015). Before rapid re housing they would place people in run down homes for at maximum of two years. Not only does rapid re housing cost less, but it has an 85% outcome of households being stably housed after the assistance ends (Johnston Kunkel, 2014). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

At one point I used to think that good writers were talented individuals who understood things like grammar and composition but over the years I ve come to believe that good writers have patience. The kind of patience you would have to have when you re staring at a screen for ages, trying to put a few thousand sentences together and have it all mean something. In my eyes, writingis far from its own reward; it is a means to an end that can leave you irritated or angry. I would argue that those who enjoy writing are not doing it right, but I suppose we are all individuals with our own methods this is mine. First and foremost, before I begin a project, I take a minute to think about what I am writing about. This might seem pretty elementary, but when I say a minute, I m really talking about hours, even days if I can afford to. This sort of thinking can occur anywhere, but it usually happens right in front of my computer and as one would expect, it is absolutely exhausting. During this time, I might poke at my keyboard and attempt to put a few words together, but these early musings rarely make the final cut. That being said, I would like to think that my approach is pretty straightforward, but some might view it as a bit manic. Roe vs. Wade is considered today, to be an avant garde decision, exemplifying ?judicial activism?. One important topic debated by many pro choice and pro lifers, is: at what point does a fetus become human? This is one of the determining factors of the controversy surrounding abortion. Pro life activists claim that life begins at conception, stressing the idea that a human embryo is self developing. And since it cannot become anything other than human, it is a living human. Albeit a fetus may technically of human origin, it does not have the ability to conduct a conscious thought. At that point, the biological qualities of an embryo are equivalent to a sesame seed, or an egg. Can we really say that every time we eat an egg, it is like eating an unborn child? According to pro lifers, yes, and they are technically correct. An egg is a completely fertilized, undeveloped infant. Yet the average American eats them on a weekly basis. Its monotherapy given at a high dosage can prevent recurrence in 65% to 80% of patients. The cost of long term prophylaxis with high dose HBIG is extremely high and combination therapy using HBIG with a nucleoside analog is more uniformly effective. The current protocol is combination of HBIG with a nucleoside analog after liver transplantation.
