district property. The study includes an analysis of 84 court cases involving
litigation from a variety of states and court jurisdictions. The cases briefed in this
study are clustered into subtopics to include the general authority of school
districts to acquire, use, and dispose of real property in accordance with applicable

Atoms are the basic units of matter and all life is based on them. Life on earth is
based on the element carbon. It is a highly versatile atom able to form four
covalent bonds with itself or other atoms such as hydrogen and water. Atoms
combine to form molecules and those that are carbon based are referred to as
organic molecules. Organic molecules occur in four different types in living cells;
carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. They are also known as
hydrocarbons due to the presence of both hydrogen and carbon. Carbohydrates are
made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen in the ratio 1:2:1. They are important
sources of energy and are classified in three main groups; monosaccharides,

monomers. These reactions result in the loss of water forming strong covalent
bonds. They are referred to as endergonic reactions since they require an input of
energy. Hydrolytic reactions are the opposite as they break polymers into single

It s summer vacation and I m riding the gondola with my family up to the top of a
rainforest in Costa Rica. My brother and I are preparing ourselves mentally, to zip

frightened every time someone in gondola mentioned how high we were. Going up
to the top, I felt the atmosphere change and suddenly the air was really moist, and I

The concert I will be reviewing was performed by Gregory Sauer (cello) and Eric
Jenkins (piano) as part of the UTRGV Patron of the Arts Guest Artist Series, which
began at 7:30 PM on Monday, October 3, 2016 in the TSC Arts Center Performance
Hall. This well rounded program included modern works from the 20th Century as
well as works of the Late Romantic and Baroque eras. Sauer s style and expression
varied according to the piece he was performing; however, the principle elements of
his virtuosity remained unaltered throughout Monday night s performance. These
foundational practices are what made each articulation and individual piece not only
well understood, but (and more importantly) consistent.
Before a performance, the concert hall is a convivial atmosphere where patrons catch
up and music students engage in discussing the inside scoop around campus, all
unbeknownst of the (not so) subtle preparation taking place on stage; Monday night
was no exception. Following the initial applaud, Gregory Sauer sat in his chair,
positioned his Cello and began playing CassadГі s Suite for Solo Cello . Typically, I
would have sat back and enjoyed the program, but having read up on the instrument
