In this context, the role of writing is little different from its role in any other subject; it allows
students to see how they are progressing and to get feedback from the teacher, to monitor and
diagnose problems. Successful writing depends on more than the ability to produce clear and

processing are reviewed in attempt to explore neurological differences in emotional processing in

control group (3%) and right anterior fusiform, AS (56%) versus control group (22%) (Dalton et
al., 2005).
Nevertheless, abnormalities in ASD during FER can be observed in variety of brain regions apart
from FG and amygdala e.g. cerebellum (Critchley et al., 2000), inferior frontal gyrus (Greimel et

Freakonomics Summary The books introductory chapter is The Hidden Side of Everything which

books. The book makes people think about things different from how they normally would; for
instance, the concept of real estate agents as the KKK. In the book Levitt and Dubner prove many
times that correlation does not mean causation. However the book then goes in and provides of
examples of how two unrelated items could in fact be connected. Thus, they are able to prove most
unlikely correlations with the right proof. In the first chapter the authors propose economics to be
the study of the affects of incentives. He backs up this proposal with three examples. He showed
how Chicago teaches were cheating the standardized test system. He also then insinuated that
cheating doesn t occur often in the sumo wrestling sport. Lastly, he provides the example that a
bagel seller used the honor system to sell his bagels. While he did this he kept detailed financial
records and found some people stole bagels. In chapter two the authors reference the thought that
the most successful historical events due to a disparity of information. They give the example that

An Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition that effects social interaction and behaviour. (1)
It is relatively common in young children, with around 1% of 5 year olds being diagnosed. Both
Asperger s Syndrome and Childhood Autism fall into the category of an AutismSpectrum Disorder.
Many reasons have been placed forward about how and why an ASD occurs in certain people.
The majority accept that genetic factors are the most likely cause. Research is ongoing to find
any genes that may increase the likelihood of developing an ASD. Aside from genetics, other
factors such as environmental (i.e. upbringing) have been suggested as possible explanations.
Recently, there was a scare in the UK when it was claimed the MMR (measles mumps rubella)
vaccine was causing ASD in young children. (2)There was no link found between the two in
studies however, but it demonstrates how an ASD can affect everyone s life at some point, and
how quick it can act.
Providing Solutions
Over the past few years, many breakthroughs have been made when studying Autism and looking at

In many societies in America people fall into one of three categories, a nationalist, globalist, or
hybrid. The nationalist is a person who tends to prioritize their own country over others on many
world matters. The globalist is looking out for the betterment of the world at large, therefore, they
have a world view. Then the hybridwho picks and chooses whatever seems best at the time. While
nationalism seems like it will pay off at times a countrywill end up being either selfish or a bully to
other countries. This will likely lead too few large world powers that don t care about other
countries, unless the other country can provide benefit to them. Globalism, while sounding nice in
theory, it will be difficult for it to be effective unless the entire world is on board and for many
reasons that isn t realistic. One of the reasons is that each person has a different culture, religion,
or set of principles that they live by. If one country keeps giving while other countries only take,
then the country giving will go bankrupt. At some point they won t be able to give anymore and
then chaos is bound to erupt. The hybrid in my opinion has the right idea, the idea is to be
considerate without getting into other peoples business. I strongly feel the balance of mainly

regulators of the wingless pathway in Drosophila Melanogaster. All the experiments in this project
were used to establish two things. Firstly, the location of the transposon insertion and secondly, the

Viktor E. Frankl, an Austrian neurologist and psychiatrist who also had survived the Holocaust,
writes When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves
(BrainyQuote). Frankl survived genocide against his own people and still chose to have a positive
outlook on it because he understands that if he did not, he would continually live an unhappy, upset
life. Like Frankl, Ivan Denisovich Shukhov, the main character in One Day In The Life of Ivan
Denisovichby Alexander Solzhenitsyn, contains a similar outlook to that of Frankl. The novel takes
place during Soviet Russiain a gulagin Siberia, or otherwise known as a labor work camp. The
whole book is about only one day that Shukhov lives; from 5 in the morning to 10 at night and all
that happens in between. In this labor camp, not only are the weather conditions very cold, making
it difficult to work in such circumstances, but also the workers are punished and harshly treated if
they do not obey the guards. When placed in this environment, it is easy to be discouraged and
miserable, but instead of facing the negatives of his situation, Shukhov remains affirmative in his
thoughts which are most important in order to survive not only physically, but also mentally. This
stoicism portrayed in the narrative can also be found in Epictetus s work, The Handbook. In this
text, Epictetus discusses how he believes people can live a happy life, despite the hard conditions
they are put through
