Essay Ambivalence and Death in Shakespeare s Hamlet
In act IV, scene III, Shakespeare addresses the play s themes and messages; those being
ambivalence and how people are one and the same in the end of life. Hamlet speaks in an eccentric
riddle form but there are underlying messages communicated through Hamlet s craziness and
Claudius confusion. The ideas are conversed through Claudius and Hamletand convey the morals
of the drama, Hamlet. Shakespeare also takes the liberty in this section to show how diverse and
opposite the characters of Claudius and Hamlet are by differentiating their literary devices.
Although Hamlet and Claudius are related to one another by the law and by both of their needs to
achieve self fulfillment; In act IV, scene III, it is clearly conveyed how the... Show more content on

пЃЉ In addition to the sentence length and the content, Shakespeare shows the distinct difference
between Hamlet s quick thinking wittiness and Claudius slow uncertainty. Shakespeare dictated in
the script that Claudius was to talk with [fiery quickness] (48) during the dialogue where he is
telling Hamlet off; this section of lines is inferring that Claudius lines have been delayed and not
very powerful up to that point. In this particular scene, it is quite apparent that Claudius does not
know what to make of Hamlet s riddles. For instance, (To the attendants) Go seek him there. (41),
states that Claudius is quite slow on the uptake. Hamlet just told Claudius that Polonius body was
up the stairs into the lobby (40 41) which was up in heaven or hell, whichever the reader chose.
Since Claudius tells his servants to go find him there, it shows that he is not able to grasp Hamlet s
intended meaning, which is bi polar opposite of Hamlet s witty character. Another device
Shakespeare crafted into the script to highlight their differences was to have Hamlet speak about
the Fat King and the Lean Beggar (26). Both the adjectives and the nouns are opposites, which
subliminally spotlight the differences in this segment of the

climbing giving San Diego the dubious distinction of being the most overcrowded system in the
country. To determine more effective ways of handling the increasing number of inmates, the
county commissioned two external feasibility studies (1985 and 1989), as well as an internal study.
With respect to food service, the findings of all the studies supported the creation of a centralized

Armory Case
R oughly ten minutes after Harold, Margaret, Isolde and Walther were in the midst of their little
heated argument, the Silent Orphan, Chandler the Fair and the Dewy Eyed Princess were asked at
the request of the RoГџweiГџe and Horst the Worst to meet at Plaidstadt s armory. They were

it was only a short walk from where the projector room was, hardly any excuse given could be

Tanja had to be given a specially made Mk I b Fackelträger suit, custom tailored to fit her

Spiritual Departure
On a late Friday evening kids are arriving at a building that nobody feels comfortable about
entering. Many are thinking that we came to SEARCH our spiritual retreat, why are we not in a
church and the church is across the street. As Elaiza was entering the building through the doors
that were covered in newspaper she was creeped out and did not want to stay here. When she got
inside it looked like an old basketball court and it was full of religious statues. She was looking
around and something touched her deep down inside, it felt like all of her problems were gone
and open to try new things . The two females that were checking her in were so nice and made
her feel welcomed, they asked for her phone and told her where she would be sleeping... Show more

everything at SEARCH. The helpers made them breakfast and gave each and everyone one of
the participants a gift they made for them. After this the participants and the helpers went to the
room that has couches and everyone had to go to the front of the room and they would get a
new nickname. Elaiza got the nickname Amor Incondicional because of how kind her heart is
and how much love she seems to show for others. They joined into one last group prayer and
headed off to the church that was across the parking lot. Elaiza saw her family and she was
happy to see them because it seemed like forever and she didn t have her phone to talk them.
They were happy to see and she was happy to, but she just wanted to tell them about her

Emerging Therapies For Sickle Cell Anemia
Emerging therapies for sickle cell anemia
Cesi Salmeron
Suny Rockland Community College
Abstract
Sickle cell anemia (SCA) is an inherited disorder that produces sickle or crescent shape red blood
cells. Thus, the mutated erythrocytes result in an inadequate supply of oxygen being transported
throughout the body. Research shows that among those affected the most with the sickle cell gene
are African Americans. In recent years, we have seen a decrease in mortality and morbidity
rates as a result of new approaches to treating the disease. The more we understand the
pathophysiology of sickle cell anemia, the more we learn about developing therapies for genetic
disorders such as SCA. In this paper, we will briefly discuss what sickle cell anemia is and possible
treatments for people with sickle cell anemia such as gene therapy and new drugs.
What is sickle cell anemia?
Sickle cell anemia (SCA) is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder. This missense mutation is
characterized by mutant beta globin subunits that tend to stick together (Cummings, 2014). As a
result, abnormally shaped red blood cells are produced by this disorder. The erythrocytes are
sickle or crescent shaped. Sickling occurs under hypoxic conditions, in which there is insufficient
supply of oxygen delivered throughout the body (Sun Xia, 2013). In order to inherit this
monogenic disease, one copy of the sickle globin gene from each parent must be passed on to the
offspring (Ashley Koch,

When I first hear the brand name Bitter Girls I image a product that focuses around females who
are unhappy, upset, need a place to vent, a way to express anger or resentment, or a product made
by bitter women. I would not have assumed that the brand was supposed to be uplifting,
inspirational, or something that was meant to help women better themselves and be happier. After

Although there may be a possibility for testing the idea of a Bitter Boys brand I don t think boys
of that age would respond to it as well as tween girls. I believe that teenage boys would find the T
shirts and quotes to be slightly too feminine in nature and too expressive for the stigma of their age
and gender. I feel that this brand might be more successful if marketed to parents who still shop
for their sons, a younger target market perhaps. Tween boys tend to focus on what their peers
see as cool and would not feel comfortable stepping out of their comfort zone to wear such an
individualized message or brand as Bitter Boys. Tween boys also are not looking for ways to
empower themselves through quotes and products. Women are generally more openly emotional
and expressive then men which is why the brand and the quotes work so well for them. If creating
a Bitter Boys brand, again, the audience would have to be much younger and the quotes less
emotional for them to want to buy the product.

Relocating Apple To Brazil. After Detailed Investigation
Relocating Apple to Brazil
After detailed investigation of both Kenya and Brazil, my choice for the relocation of Apple

doing business internationally. From a general view point, Brazil is well developed in areas of
agricultural, mining, manufacturing, and service industries. It has been expanding into the world

Firstly, the currency has lost a lot of value compared to the U.S. dollar, the companies in Brazil
(Sao Paulo) are very cheap for American investors. The implication of this is evident and clearly
beneficial to Apple. Since Apple provide its services through third party companies, it would be
cheaper to buy the services of these companies in Sao Paulo thereby decreasing the running cost as
a result the cost of production of Apples products there by increasing the profit margin.
Secondly, the abundance of business resources in Sao Paulo make it an inevitable attractive factor
for companies wishing to settle or relocate in Brazil. As the largest city in Brazil, SГЈo Paulo

plenty resources available is Sao Paulo include young and Startup s, variety of companies, from

skilled workers would provide the employee needs of Apple thereby a great possibility of
increasing its services to the public. In addition, the cultural diversity of Sao Paulo strongly
influences my decision of choosing the location for the Relocation of Apple. Brazil is among the

Quality Management In BusinessIntroductionIn The Business
Quality Management in Business
Introduction
In the business context, quality management is a broad concept. Customer demands quality in a
product rather than price. So, organization must focus on the quality enhancement. Quality usually
leads to increasing cost. Business organizations have to manage quality in such a way that it leads to
as minimum cost as possible. Not every organization can do this. But, it should be their main goal
and objective of structuring their business. In the competitive market, quality management is the
most important term that is to be considered in every process.

Mozilla thinks the best approach is empowering the employee. They introduce many incentives to
increase the employees participation.
1.4 Explain the similarities and differences between the different methods.
Total quality management system involves handling, controlling and directing to achieve
excellence. There are four main methods used in quality management system; ISO series, six sigma,
lean and business process reengineering. There exist similarities and differences among the four
methods. The differences among the methods exist in the application of each.
ISO standard focuses on the performance consistency for quality product, where Six Sigma
measures of the quality strives for the near perfection. Lean production concerns for the reduction
of quantity of resources used. Business process reengineering involves the change of people and
other aspects for the changing technology (Andersson, Eriksson Torstensson, 2006).
Each method benefits the company by improving process, reducing cost and eliminating cost.
Improving process:
Each of the four methods concerns about the current process used by the company. Employees
review current processes and find ways how to make the process more efficient. Effects of
methods are also considered. Effects of using one method are cost of producing product, pressure
on employee and quality of the final product.

Ludwig van Beethoven was a great composer at his time. He was a German composer and born in
a big family whose interest and inclination is music. Though at the age of 20, he was already

Paris can be a very busy city, tourists trying to snap as many pictures of monuments as they can,

The tower stands in the seventh arrondissement (district), is rich in history, and is one of the

Army. This memorial was no easy feat to build. Each of the 18,00 pieces used to construct the

is to credit for much of this creation, there are two other men, Maurice Koechlin and Emile

Gun Control In College
Gun Control
Gun control is a major topic in today s society and it is broken into many subcategories that all
have different arguments and views. A few examples are The Second Amendment is not an
unlimited right to own guns, more gun control laws would reduce gun deaths and more gun control
leads to fewer suicides in the United States. The gun control category I am focusing on in this essay
is, should teachers and students be able to carry firearms on a college campus. I chose this since I
am currently attending college and this could have an effect directly on me or ASU. The idea of
teachers and staff being able to carry firearms on a college campus has come up many times in
the media recently due to the rise in mass shootings. Many states are now looking at this
problem and voting on it. This topic is always heavily debated due to the many different sides
and varying beliefs on gun control and safety. The NRA (National Rifle Association) has a
heavy influence on the united states and who should be allowed gun and what legislation is
passed. The gun control topic of firearms on a college campus has become politicalized and is
commonly drawn into political debates and has become a political tool for winning elections.
Some states have already voted and taken action on this new idea and have allowed staff to carry
guns on campuses and in cars parked and locked in secure parking lots. Another major idea that is
constantly brought up with campus carry and firearms on campuses

Christianity And Birth Control
Human life is a sacred right that all individuals possess. It is unlawful and mortally sinful to take
away or prevent the life of an infant. Human life is sacred all men must recognize that fact, said
Pope John XXIII in defense of the unborn (John XXIII). To be truly pro life, one must accept that
doing so does not only refer to being opposed to abortion, but also being opposed to birth control
and contraception. The Catholic Church has professed for two thousand years that the conjugal act
is a gift from God to married couples for the sole purpose of procreation. This gift is abused and
perverted by humans; who view conjugal love as a means of pleasure rather than what it truly is.
Abortion, contraception and birth control are three methods... Show more content on

The popularity and convenience of birth control has led to a higher popularity of abortions.
Historically, Christianity has always condemned birth control and the contraceptive mentality for
2,000 years until the Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Communion in 1930 (Carlson). Many
other Protestant communities jumped on the bandwagon and embraced this modern and destructive
practice. The Roman Catholic Church has stood firm in her tradition and doctrine during these dark
times. His Holiness, Pope Paul VI, condemned birth control and contraception as immoral in the
papal encyclical Humanae Vitae. Consequently, it is a serious error to think that a whole
married life of otherwise normal relations can justify sexual intercourse which is deliberately
contraceptive and so intrinsically wrong (Paul VI). Anyone who claims to be pro life, yet
embraces contraceptives, is truly flattering himself. God struck Onan dead in Genesis for
performing coitus interruptus, spilling his seed on the ground, which is a severe punishment
indeed. Imagine the anger of God toward those who interfere with the means to create life that
he gave humanity. Using birth control is telling God that man controls creation, not Him. It is
intrinsically blasphemous and disobedient in nature. Sexual immorality is condemned by the
Bible and birth control certainly falls within this category since it is a means to misuse intimacy
for the purpose of pleasure, rather than procreation. Christian and non Christian married couples
should use sex for procreation instead of using each others bodies just for pleasure. Pleasures are so
readily available in this world, and now God s own generative process is being corrupted by
modern medicine. It is God who remains the sovereign Master of life. We are obliged to accept life
gratefully and preserve it

Shoshanna Hebshi Analysis
Shoshanna Hebshi who is both Jewish and Arab got kicked off of a plane because of how she
looks. There were two other men right next to her that are Indian Americans and were kicked off
of the flight with her, nobody else but those three were kicked off. Passengers of the plane kept
saying that those three were being suspicious and that is why in Detroit they all were kicked off
of the plane. All we know is Hebshi s story about how she was kicked off and stripped searched.
She felt humiliated with everything she had to go through (Warikoo, N., 2103). The reason that
racial profiling still goes on is because people are scared. People are scared of what is different
and not normal to them. The reason that Shoshanna was targeted is because of

An Anti Climax
I have been practicing this skill during the summer and continue to do it in the future. If time
permits, I will work with a staff in the Global Communication Center several times to address
this problem before the submission of the revised paper. The paper limps to an end. Pages 40 44
are an anti climax mired in too much detail. I recommend that you eliminate most of the
discussion there. As I noted in the margins, these last pages should be devoted to summing up
your argument, discussing the significance of your findings, and pointing to the next stage in
your research. I admit that this part is redundant, but there may be other options than deleting all
of them. In order to keep the story intact, I need to emphasize that the progress of technology in
the 2000s is essential to meet the accelerated flow of remains from North Korea since the mid
1990s and the new sources of remains from the Punchbowl cemetery. I will still present the number
of soldiers identified in each year as well as the interpretation of the increasing efficiency in
identification after 2005 from the angles of improved technology and funding. Thus, much
information on Page 40 and 41 will still exist in the revised version though some minutia, like
irrelevant numbers or technical details, will be expunged. The information on Page 42 to 44 needs
significant revision. I will shorten the story of the reorganization of the military personnel
accounting agencies to a great degree, just leaving the main

Triangular Number Of Triangular Numbers
Triangular Numbers
Eli Nazarian
Ms. Ramson
H Algebra 2A
October 21, 2014
A triangular number is a number that counts the amount of objects that form when they are put
together to form an equilateral triangle (a triangle with all equal sides). The most common object
used to form a triangle are dots. When the dots create an equilateral triangle, the number of dots
seen in the triangle represent the triangular number. Overall, the sequence is generated from a
pattern of dots which form a triangle.
The first row contains a single dot and each subsequent row contains more dots than the previous
one. The sequence of triangular numbers are: 1, 3, 6,10, 15, 21... and so on.
When working with multiple triangles, each triangle is assigned a triangle number. For example,
triangle one (T1) has a triangular number of one. Triangle three has a triangular number of six. The
letter T, followed but a number represents a certain triangle.
The formula to calculate the amount of object using a stated length is:
Tn(th)= n(n+1) 2
T represents triangle number. N represents the length of the three sides of the equilateral triangle. If
a number (and only whole numbers) were plugged in for N. The final answer of the problem would
equal the number objects (dots) in the equilateral triangle.
Example: n= length of 6Formula: Tnth= n(n+1) 2
Plug in 6 for n. T6th=6(6+1) 2
Solve.T6th= 6(7)T6th=42T6th=21. 22

Health Care Criteria Throughout the World
In our world, each country has a set criterion to follow in order to establish health care for people
in different societies. The way the resources are allocated, and the standard of health care
delivered, varies from country to country. When you think about healthcare services around the
world, there are so many diverse countries that run health care in different ways. Comparing the
United States to other countries such as Canada and Poland is very interesting in the part of how
health care is handled. Health care is an important service that touches the daily lives of millions of
people at important and vulnerable times; some issues involving healthcare include those who are

There is usually no copayment for doctors visit with this insurance however, most private doctors
do not accept Medicaid because the bill is paid through the state and it takes the physicians a long
time to receive the money for the services given. This leads the individuals on Medicaid to turn to
local health centers or local hospitals for treatment
The outrageous cost of medical care in the United States is one of the greatest disadvantages of our
system. Costs are rising at a faster past than most other expenses. Managed care systems were
created to reduce costs, and this meant that physicians no longer are autonomous practitioners in
their own independent offices. Health maintenance organization (HMO) and preferred provider
organization (PPO) are the most common examples. In HMO subscriber pay a set fee to be a
patient in return for an agreement that the HMO will cover all the patient s medical care at no
additional cost. The HMO has an incentive to keep the patient as healthy as possible by
providing preventative health care because they make the most profit when patients are healthy.
As a result HMO s try to cover younger, healthy subscribers who are less likely to become sick.
The other main organization PPO, contracts with physicians who become preferred providers .
Patients who enroll in the PPO receive better coverage if they are to see only doctors

The two pieces where this was most prevalent was Helen Tide from University of Hawai i and
Cascade of Moons from Mills College. For a majority of Helen Tide, the two dancers did not
travel around the stage a whole lot. The piece was about 6 or 7 minutes long and there was
probably 15 20 seconds of quicker movement. Some of their movement was so slow that it was
hard to tell whether or not the dancers were actually moving. On the other hand, Cascade of
Moons had 6 dancers instead of only two. This gave another element to the piece because I would
watch one dancer, then another, and by the time I went back to the first dancer, she was in a
completely different position. Although they were moving extremely slowly, because each dancer
was doing something different, it felt as thought there was always something new to look at. There
were more moments of rapid movements in this piece as well, which was very contrasting to the
slower movement. However, while Helen Tide had very minimal fast movements, Cascade of
Moons had much more fast paced moments. The amount of contrast each choreographer decided to
have in their piece helped convey the different stories that they are trying to

Book Of Gabriel Research Paper
Gabriel
Gabriel is an angel who serves as a messenger for God to certain people. He is one of the three
archangels. Gabriel is mentioned in both the Old and the New Testaments of the Bible. First, in
the Old Testament, Gabriel appears to the prophet Daniel to explain his visions. Gabriel is
described as, one who looked like man, as he interprets Daniel s visions. He speaks to Daniel while
he is sleeping. After Gabriel s first visit, Daniel becomes tired and sick for days. Gabriel later visits
Daniel again providing him with more insight and understanding in an answered prayer.
In the New Testament, Gabriel, described as an angel of the Lord, first appears to Zacharias, the
father of John the Baptist. He tells him, Fear not, Zacharias: ... Show more content on

The Parthenon Marbles
Located on the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, the Parthenon is the most famous and most important
piece of architecture in Greece. Standing in ruins as a former temple dedicated to the Greek
Goddess of wisdom, Athena, the Parthenon has held the most important sculptures made by the
Greeks. During the 1800s, when Greece was under the control of the Ottomans, sculptures from the
Parthenonwere sent to Britain by Lord Elgin for safe protection. The Parthenon Marbles have since
then never been returned to the Greeks. The sculptures, currently housed in the British Museumin
London, should be returned to their homeland because they are part of Greece s culture, they have
a safe home ready for them in the Acropolis Museum, they are not being cared for as they should, it
would most likely boost the economy, and the English did not have the right to take them in the

Aim:
To identify which reactions will be the most efficient, in order to heat pre cooked meals.
Theory:
It is stated that all chemical reactions involve energy changes. Where a substance is stored with
chemical energy and has the potential to be converted to heat (insert cited thing). Exothermic and
Endothermic reactions are included in the changes in heat of energy. As Exothermic reactions
release heat, and transfer the temperature to its surroundings. This is because the energy absorbed
to split the bonds of the reactants release less heat energy than the product made by the bonds. An
endothermic reaction however absorbs heat from its surrounding as the reactant doesn t supply
enough energy therefore it absorbs energy from its environment. In addition, endothermic reactions
release more heat energy in order to break the bonds made by the products.
The bonds in the exothermic and endothermic occur during the experiment, as the breaking and
making of the chemical bonds are involved. Exothermic is energy that is released when any
chemical bond is formed and Endothermic is energy which must be added when a chemical bond is
broken. It is recognized that with exothermic reactions, the products will contain a lower energy
with the reactants. Endothermic reactions however have products which contain a higher energy
than the reactants. This is because exothermic reactions release heat, and in the progress

Why Children Choose to Murder
The reason for choosing this topic was because I have always been fascinated as to why children
do these crimes, were there warning signs before? I don t understand why children choose to
murder; I also would like to learn what was studied and why young children do such crimes. I
would like to also learn the background of these children, what they were exposed to, what
characters they all have in common.
Adams, K. A. The Child Who Murders: A Review of Theory and Research. Criminal Justice and
Behavior 1 (1974): 51 61.
Child murders come from a different social economic background. It s hard to define what a child
murder is. They often range from different personality some are aggressive, withdrawn, some
can be cruel. Many children who murder usually kill a family member or friends. They are don t
have any are not gang related, or have any affiliation. They murder because they have built up
tension, frustrated and it could take just one incident to trigger the aggregation to kill. In the
paper it say that killing to a child means (1) it s the most complete type of personal revenge the
child has heard of; or (2) an undesired individual disappears forever. Reinhardt (1970) found most
child murders show no guilt. The youths could not give an answer to why they kill . The article
also says that children turn to murder to get away from their present situation; they find that they
have no return. It is important to find out why young children murder what causes the aggression

Child Labor In America
Starting in about the 1700s, hand labor was replaced by power driven machines to make jobs
easier. The industrial revolution had begun, and families needed a job and money to be able to
survive. European immigrants started spreading word that children should work.Eventually
factories decided to get kids to worksince the machines were easy to operate and didn t require
adult strength.
The jobs in the factories were easy, and factories didn t have to pay children as much as adults, so
the factories took advantage of that. Children had to work an estimate of 12 to 18 hours a day, 6
days a week, to earn no more than a dollar. They didn t even get to choose what job they wanted to
do . These jobs were given based on age and gender, and the youngest of children working were of
the age of 7. Some children had to work in large houses 16 hours a day, 7 days a week at a low pay
as well. By the year of 1810, 2 million school age students in America were already working 50 to
70 hours a week and by 2006, there were 218 million child laborers all around the world, 126
million engaged in dangerous work. Some boys had to carry loads of hot glass as part of their
jobs to earn only up to $1.10 per day! With all these hours of nonstop work, children had no time
for play, school or to rest so most of them were uneducated because they had to work in order to

  • 2. Essay Ambivalence and Death in Shakespeare s Hamlet In act IV, scene III, Shakespeare addresses the play s themes and messages; those being ambivalence and how people are one and the same in the end of life. Hamlet speaks in an eccentric riddle form but there are underlying messages communicated through Hamlet s craziness and Claudius confusion. The ideas are conversed through Claudius and Hamletand convey the morals of the drama, Hamlet. Shakespeare also takes the liberty in this section to show how diverse and opposite the characters of Claudius and Hamlet are by differentiating their literary devices. Although Hamlet and Claudius are related to one another by the law and by both of their needs to achieve self fulfillment; In act IV, scene III, it is clearly conveyed how the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... пЃЉ In addition to the sentence length and the content, Shakespeare shows the distinct difference between Hamlet s quick thinking wittiness and Claudius slow uncertainty. Shakespeare dictated in the script that Claudius was to talk with [fiery quickness] (48) during the dialogue where he is telling Hamlet off; this section of lines is inferring that Claudius lines have been delayed and not very powerful up to that point. In this particular scene, it is quite apparent that Claudius does not know what to make of Hamlet s riddles. For instance, (To the attendants) Go seek him there. (41), states that Claudius is quite slow on the uptake. Hamlet just told Claudius that Polonius body was up the stairs into the lobby (40 41) which was up in heaven or hell, whichever the reader chose. Since Claudius tells his servants to go find him there, it shows that he is not able to grasp Hamlet s intended meaning, which is bi polar opposite of Hamlet s witty character. Another device Shakespeare crafted into the script to highlight their differences was to have Hamlet speak about the Fat King and the Lean Beggar (26). Both the adjectives and the nouns are opposites, which subliminally spotlight the differences in this segment of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In 1989, these facilities were holding up to 4,500 inmates and the numbers were climbing giving San Diego the dubious distinction of being the most overcrowded system in the country. To determine more effective ways of handling the increasing number of inmates, the county commissioned two external feasibility studies (1985 and 1989), as well as an internal study. With respect to food service, the findings of all the studies supported the creation of a centralized cook/chill system for the county s facilities. There are two basic methods of cook/chill: cryo vat (tumble ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... San Diego is one of the first correctional agencies to use cook/chill processing, and will be the first to adopt a system of pre packing entrees. As a recent feasibility study has shown, with some additions and modifications the food production center would San Diego County. • 4. Armory Case R oughly ten minutes after Harold, Margaret, Isolde and Walther were in the midst of their little heated argument, the Silent Orphan, Chandler the Fair and the Dewy Eyed Princess were asked at the request of the RoГџweiГџe and Horst the Worst to meet at Plaidstadt s armory. They were expected to be there, immediately after the briefing had finally been concluded. Due to the fact that it was only a short walk from where the projector room was, hardly any excuse given could be tolerated. And so, without further hesitation, they three Nightingales went to the armory at Plaidstadt. The armory was the Remnants storehouse of munitions for their own air vehicles, as well as any RGA, Adelbu or FVL Luftgeschwader planes that happened to be serviced... Tanja can only sustain a certain amount of injuries, but a well placed high caliber bullet or a discharged laser or plasma shot is more than enough to kill her. Due to the fact that the casinos targeted by both DHvKA and Dritte Zug had zero tolerance policies for not allowing pets inside, Tanja had to be given a specially made Mk I b FackeltrГ¤ger suit, custom tailored to fit her canine figure. For her protection, the researchers at St. Margaret s Cellar developed a prototype FackeltrГ¤ger suit, the Mk I H (the H denoting the word Hund , or dog in German). Much like the model designed for human wearers, this special canine model was a prototype that possessed all of the features found in Mk I B suit. The result was a dog that could not be seen by normal people, visitors and employees alike, CCTV security cameras and other mundane means of detection. Another type of equipment designed for Tanja s personal use was the COR (Canine Optical Rangefinder), which is worn around her face like a mask, allowing her to detect users of the Invisibility Anomaly and demonic entities aligned with the Coven. Moreover, Tanja can also be equipped with a radio that is worn on her right ear, and can listen to her owner s commands from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Spiritual Departure On a late Friday evening kids are arriving at a building that nobody feels comfortable about entering. Many are thinking that we came to SEARCH our spiritual retreat, why are we not in a church and the church is across the street. As Elaiza was entering the building through the doors that were covered in newspaper she was creeped out and did not want to stay here. When she got inside it looked like an old basketball court and it was full of religious statues. She was looking around and something touched her deep down inside, it felt like all of her problems were gone and open to try new things . • 7. Emerging Therapies For Sickle Cell Anemia Emerging therapies for sickle cell anemia Cesi Salmeron Suny Rockland Community College Abstract Sickle cell anemia (SCA) is an inherited disorder that produces sickle or crescent shape red blood cells. Thus, the mutated erythrocytes result in an inadequate supply of oxygen being transported throughout the body. Research shows that among those affected the most with the sickle cell gene are African Americans. In recent years, we have seen a decrease in mortality and morbidity rates as a result of new approaches to treating the disease. The more we understand the pathophysiology of sickle cell anemia, the more we learn about developing therapies for genetic disorders such as SCA. In this paper, we will briefly discuss what sickle cell anemia is and possible treatments for people with sickle cell anemia such as gene therapy and new drugs. What is sickle cell anemia? Sickle cell anemia (SCA) is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder. This missense mutation is characterized by mutant beta globin subunits that tend to stick together (Cummings, 2014). As a result, abnormally shaped red blood cells are produced by this disorder. The erythrocytes are sickle or crescent shaped. Sickling occurs under hypoxic conditions, in which there is insufficient supply of oxygen delivered throughout the body (Sun Xia, 2013). In order to inherit this monogenic disease, one copy of the sickle globin gene from each parent must be passed on to the offspring (Ashley Koch, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although there may be a possibility for testing the idea of a Bitter Boys brand I don t think boys of that age would respond to it as well as tween girls. I feel that this brand might be more successful if marketed to parents who still shop for their sons, a younger target market perhaps. Tween boys tend to focus on what their peers see as cool and would not feel comfortable stepping out of their comfort zone to wear such an individualized message or brand as Bitter Boys. Tween boys also are not looking for ways to empower themselves through quotes and products. Women are generally more openly emotional and expressive then men which is why the brand and the quotes work so well for them. If creating a Bitter Boys brand, again, the audience would have to be much younger and the quotes less emotional for them to want to buy the product. 4. A few examples are The Second Amendment is not an unlimited right to own guns, more gun control laws would reduce gun deaths and more gun control leads to fewer suicides in the United States. The gun control category I am focusing on in this essay is, should teachers and students be able to carry firearms on a college campus. Human life is sacred all men must recognize that fact, said Pope John XXIII in defense of the unborn (John XXIII). To be truly pro life, one must accept that doing so does not only refer to being opposed to abortion, but also being opposed to birth control and contraception. The Catholic Church has professed for two thousand years that the conjugal act is a gift from God to married couples for the sole purpose of procreation. This gift is abused and perverted by humans; who view conjugal love as a means of pleasure rather than what it truly is. Abortion, contraception and birth control are three methods... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The popularity and convenience of birth control has led to a higher popularity of abortions. Historically, Christianity has always condemned birth control and the contraceptive mentality for 2,000 years until the Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Communion in 1930 (Carlson). Many other Protestant communities jumped on the bandwagon and embraced this modern and destructive practice. The Roman Catholic Church has stood firm in her tradition and doctrine during these dark times. His Holiness, Pope Paul VI, condemned birth control and contraception as immoral in the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae. Consequently, it is a serious error to think that a whole married life of otherwise normal relations can justify sexual intercourse which is deliberately contraceptive and so intrinsically wrong (Paul VI). Anyone who claims to be pro life, yet embraces contraceptives, is truly flattering himself. God struck Onan dead in Genesis for performing coitus interruptus, spilling his seed on the ground, which is a severe punishment indeed. Imagine the anger of God toward those who interfere with the means to create life that he gave humanity. Using birth control is telling God that man controls creation, not Him. It is intrinsically blasphemous and disobedient in nature. Sexual immorality is condemned by the Bible and birth control certainly falls within this category since it is a means to misuse intimacy for the purpose of pleasure, rather than procreation. Christian and non Christian married couples should use sex for procreation instead of using each others bodies just for pleasure. Triangular Number Of Triangular Numbers Triangular Numbers Eli Nazarian Ms. Ramson H Algebra 2A October 21, 2014 A triangular number is a number that counts the amount of objects that form when they are put together to form an equilateral triangle (a triangle with all equal sides). The most common object used to form a triangle are dots. When the dots create an equilateral triangle, the number of dots seen in the triangle represent the triangular number. Overall, the sequence is generated from a pattern of dots which form a triangle. The first row contains a single dot and each subsequent row contains more dots than the previous one. The sequence of triangular numbers are: 1, 3, 6,10, 15, 21... and so on. When working with multiple triangles, each triangle is assigned a triangle number. For example, triangle one (T1) has a triangular number of one. Triangle three has a triangular number of six. The letter T, followed but a number represents a certain triangle. The formula to calculate the amount of object using a stated length is: Tn(th)= n(n+1) 2 T represents triangle number. N represents the length of the three sides of the equilateral triangle. About 20 difference colleges participated in the conference, which took place at Modesto Junior College. The Gala performance, which occurred on the last night of the conference, lasted a little over 2 hours and showcased the adjudicators top 11 pieces from the adjudicated concerts. The two pieces where this was most prevalent was Helen Tide from University of Hawai i and Cascade of Moons from Mills College. For a majority of Helen Tide, the two dancers did not travel around the stage a whole lot. The piece was about 6 or 7 minutes long and there was probably 15 20 seconds of quicker movement. Some of their movement was so slow that it was hard to tell whether or not the dancers were actually moving. On the other hand, Cascade of Moons had 6 dancers instead of only two. This gave another element to the piece because I would watch one dancer, then another, and by the time I went back to the first dancer, she was in a completely different position. Although they were moving extremely slowly, because each dancer was doing something different, it felt as thought there was always something new to look at. There were more moments of rapid movements in this piece as well, which was very contrasting to the slower movement. However, while Helen Tide had very minimal fast movements, Cascade of Moons had much more fast paced moments. The amount of contrast each choreographer decided to have in their piece helped convey the different stories that they are trying to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Assignment 3 Feedback Assignment Hello, To begin with, I received my Assignment 3 feedback yesterday and I am very happy with the feedback/grade I received. The grade itself was higher than that of the previous assignment which made me feel good as it shows I am slowly improving in certain aspects of my writing. I still need to work on my comma usage, review subject verb agreement and review topic sentences for a summary paragraph. Next, I would like to talk about sentence variety, which I mentioned in my last post. This time, I used a variety of sentences in my writing and it really made a difference in the tone and flow of the paragraph, so I believe I ve grasped how to use sentence variety effectively. I would also like to talk about MLA formatting, which I also mentioned ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 34. The Parthenon Marbles Located on the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, the Parthenon is the most famous and most important piece of architecture in Greece. Standing in ruins as a former temple dedicated to the Greek Goddess of wisdom, Athena, the Parthenon has held the most important sculptures made by the Greeks. During the 1800s, when Greece was under the control of the Ottomans, sculptures from the Parthenonwere sent to Britain by Lord Elgin for safe protection. The Parthenon Marbles have since then never been returned to the Greeks. The sculptures, currently housed in the British Museumin London, should be returned to their homeland because they are part of Greece s culture, they have a safe home ready for them in the Acropolis Museum, they are not being cared for as they should, it would most likely boost the economy, and the English did not have the right to take them in the first place. If people who are employed by the museum are treating statues like this one so carelessly, the Parthenon Marbles should not be housed in the museum for protection. The argument that people of the British Museum say is that it was their right to have the sculptures be housed in the museum and they saved them from further damage. • 38. Chemical Reactions That React The Most Efficiently For... h Chemicals Will React the Most Efficiently for Heat and Eat Packs Aim: To identify which reactions will be the most efficient, in order to heat pre cooked meals. Theory: It is stated that all chemical reactions involve energy changes. Where a substance is stored with chemical energy and has the potential to be converted to heat (insert cited thing). Exothermic and Endothermic reactions are included in the changes in heat of energy. As Exothermic reactions release heat, and transfer the temperature to its surroundings. This is because the energy absorbed to split the bonds of the reactants release less heat energy than the product made by the bonds. An endothermic reaction however absorbs heat from its surrounding as the reactant doesn t supply enough energy therefore it absorbs energy from its environment. In addition, endothermic reactions release more heat energy in order to break the bonds made by the products. The bonds in the exothermic and endothermic occur during the experiment, as the breaking and making of the chemical bonds are involved. Exothermic is energy that is released when any chemical bond is formed and Endothermic is energy which must be added when a chemical bond is broken. It is recognized that with exothermic reactions, the products will contain a lower energy with the reactants. Endothermic reactions however have products which contain a higher energy than the reactants. This is because exothermic reactions release heat, and in the progress ... • 39. Why Children Choose to Murder The reason for choosing this topic was because I have always been fascinated as to why children do these crimes, were there warning signs before? I don t understand why children choose to murder; I also would like to learn what was studied and why young children do such crimes. I would like to also learn the background of these children, what they were exposed to, what characters they all have in common. Adams, K. A. The Child Who Murders: A Review of Theory and Research. Criminal Justice and Behavior 1 (1974): 51 61. Child murders come from a different social economic background. It s hard to define what a child murder is. They often range from different personality some are aggressive, withdrawn, some can be cruel. Many children who murder usually kill a family member or friends. They are don t have any are not gang related, or have any affiliation. They murder because they have built up tension, frustrated and it could take just one incident to trigger the aggregation to kill. In the paper it say that killing to a child means (1) it s the most complete type of personal revenge the child has heard of; or (2) an undesired individual disappears forever. Reinhardt (1970) found most child murders show no guilt. The youths could not give an answer to why they kill . The article also says that children turn to murder to get away from their present situation; they find that they have no return. • 42. Child Labor In America Starting in about the 1700s, hand labor was replaced by power driven machines to make jobs easier. The industrial revolution had begun, and families needed a job and money to be able to survive. European immigrants started spreading word that children should work.Eventually factories decided to get kids to worksince the machines were easy to operate and didn t require adult strength. The jobs in the factories were easy, and factories didn t have to pay children as much as adults, so the factories took advantage of that. Children had to work an estimate of 12 to 18 hours a day, 6 days a week, to earn no more than a dollar. They didn t even get to choose what job they wanted to do . These jobs were given based on age and gender, and the youngest of children working were of the age of 7. Some children had to work in large houses 16 hours a day, 7 days a week at a low pay as well. By the year of 1810, 2 million school age students in America were already working 50 to 70 hours a week and by 2006, there were 218 million child laborers all around the world, 126 million engaged in dangerous work. Some boys had to carry loads of hot glass as part of their jobs to earn only up to $1.10 per day!
