Emily Dickinson’s Because I Could Not Stop For Death Essay
Emily Dickinson s Because I could not stop for Death is a remarkable masterpiece that exercises
thought between the known and the unknown. Critics call Emily Dickinson s poem a masterpiece
with strange haunting power.
In Dickinson s poem, Because I could not stop for Death, there is much impression in the tone, in
symbols, and in the use of imagery that exudes creativity. One might undoubtedly agree to an
eerie, haunting, if not frightening, tone in Dickinson s poem. Dickinson uses controlling
adjectives slowly and passed to create a tone that seems rather placid. For example, We slowly
drove He knew no haste / ...We passed the School ... / We passed the Setting Sun, sets a slow, quiet,
calm, and dreamy atmosphere (5, 9, 11, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition to these three stages, the final stage of eternity was symbolized in the last two lines of
the poem, the Horses Heads (23), leading towards Eternity (24). Dickinson fathomed the
incomprehensible progression of life by unraveling its complexity with figurative symbols. Emily
Dickinson dresses the scene such that mental pictures of sight, feeling, and sound come to life. The
imagery begins the moment Dickinson invites Her reader into the Carriage. Death slowly takes the
readers on a sight seeing trip where they see the stages of life. The first site We passed was the
School, where Children strove (9). Because it deals with an important symbol, the Ring this first
scene is perhaps the most important. One author noted that the children, at recess, do not play (as
one would expect them to) but strive (Monteiro 20).
In addition, at recess, the children performed a venerable ritual, perhaps known to all, in a ring.
This ritual is called Ring a ring a roses, and is recited: Ring a ring a roses, A pocket full of
posies; Hush! hush! hush! hush! We re all tumbled down. (qtd. in Greenaway 365) Monteiro made
the discovery and concluded that For indeed, imbedded in their ritualistic game is a reminder of the
mortal stakes that the poet talks about elsewhere (21). On this invited journey, one vividly sees the
Children playing, laughing, and singing. This scene conveys deep emotions and moods

The Batek of Malaysia
The Batek of Malaysia The Batik is an indigenous tribes living in the rainforest of the peninsula of
Malaysia. They live in camps composed of five to six nuclear families. They are mostly foragers
although the occasionally practice horticulture. To survive the tribes relies on hunting, gathering
and trading rattan or forest products. Malaysia is on the south Malay Peninsula and stretches from
the Thai border down to the island of Singapore. The population of Malaysia is about twenty three
million. The main idea of the research is to provide a basic understanding of the Batek behavioral

If someone in the group did not want to follow, the headman does not have the power to force
anyone to follow his ideas, to move the camp, or were to hunt.
The Batek people are a very simply people who rely on the forest to provide their needs to sustain
life. These indigenous people have very little need for an economic system. They do not own
anything nor do they want to. They will produce items from the forest know as rattan. These good
often traded for other rattan that is not native to them. The Batek might do some light agriculture
work, but mostly, they are foragers that live off the land and enjoy the peace that comes with
common wealth. The Batek have no concept of land ownership the idea is absurd to them and
natural resources in the forest cannot be owned until someone harvests them (Peaceful n.d).
Without ownership and money, there is no greed or lust of what another person has.
Simplicity is that of the Batik; they are peaceful, helpful and encouraging. They are able to form a
band that is looking out for each other, they are economically peaceful, and believe in a higher
power that gets them through life. Normally, the Batek people live in domestic groups of not less
than three together forming a camp. These groups mainly reside in tents, each housing
approximately ten per tent. The preferred

Fruit Mold Lab Report
Fruit Molds
Brenna Rivera
November 29, 2016
Anaruth Alfaro
Abstract
In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different environments to asses
which fruit would have the most mold and in which environment the mold would be present the
most. For the experiment we used fruits that were in season so that we could also compare organic
and non organic fruit. Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We
hypothesized that peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would
rot the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed over a
period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the most and burst and the
peaches in the incubator were the first to go.
Introduction
After learning about different types of mold in lab as well as in lecture, my group and I were
interested in studying mold more. We wanted to know which fruits from our selected few would rot
the most and in which environment would they be most likely to rot or mold in. We learned... Show

We will also see if there is any big difference between organic and inorganic fruit. According to our
lab on fungus we already knew what the mold would look like so we were pretty confident that we
would be able to identify it without a problem (lab 17 The Kingdom Fungi). With our own
knowledge we hypothesized that that out of the tomatoes, peaches, and apples that the peaches
would rot the most and that they would rot the most while in the incubator (an environment which
is approximately 90 degrees Fahrenheit). About a month later and having observed our fruits in
various increments we found that the peaches and the tomatoes were pretty close together but they
peaches ultimately molded the most and molded the most within the

Bruce Springsteen s Tunnel Of Love
Tunnel of Love is unlike any other album that Bruce Springsteen has written. This was an album
full of love songs, songs about the ups, downs, trust and loyalty that come with being in a
relationship. The Tunnel of love album is drastically different from the previous Nebraska and
Born in the U.S.A.; those two albums both talked about the struggles and hardships of the working
class, a motif that does not appear in Tunnel of Love. The beat of this album differs greatly from
that of Born in the U.S.A. this album isn t as up beat and fun, instead the album is more down beat
and sounds somewhat sad.
This album as a whole shows us that when someone doesn t understand himself/herself it can hurt
his or her relationship, and lead to unfaithfulness. Springsteen refers to marriage in the songs Walk
like a Man , Cautious Man , and Spare Parts . Cautious Man is a song about a man who enjoyed
his life of solitude and wandering, and always chose the life he was used to over love until one day
when a woman caught his attention. He fell in love, and married her soon after meeting her. Bruce
Springsteen married American model Julianne Phillips in 1985, after the release of Tunnel of
Love. On the album, many of the songs described his unhappiness in the relationship with Phillips,
and in 1989 (two years after the release of Tunnel of Love) they got a divorce. Although Bruce
Springsteen denies this, many people, including myself, believe that Cautious Man is an
autobiographical

Attachment Theory Essay
Chris Livoti3/5/13
IB Psychology Mrs. Urso John Bowlby is the pioneer of the attachment theory and worked with
children who had been separated from their parents during World War 2. He observed that many
of these children developed emotional problems, and he made the connection that the emotional
problems stemmed from the separation from the mother. Bowlby was born in London to an
upper class family, and would rarely see, and interact with his mother. At the young age of seven
he was sent off to boarding school, which was very common for boys of his social status. He would
later go on to say I wouldn t send a dog away to boarding school at age seven. These circumstances
would lead ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Finally was mild deprivation which could result in minor problems for the child, but no serious
complications. Bowlby s main theory which he is most well known for is his Attachment Theory.
Bowlby believed that for a strong attachment to be formed there must be proximity maintenance
(the desire to be near the people we are attached to), a safe haven(returning to the attachment figure
for comfort and safety in the face of a fear or threat), a secure base(the attachment figure acts as a
base of security from which the child can explore the surrounding environment),and separation
distress (anxiety that occurs in the absence of the attachment figure). The main points of his
attachment theory were that a child has an innate need to attach to one main attachment
figure(monotropy). Another main point in his theory was that he believed a child should receive
the continuous care of the single most important attachment figure for the first two years of life.
Bowlby used the term maternal deprivation to refer to the failure to develop an attachment, and to
refer to the separation or loss of a mother. To support his hypothesis that the relationship between the
infant and mother in the first five years was crucial to socialization, and the disruption of this
relationship can lead to emotional difficulties, antisocial behavior, and delinquency, he studied forty
four juvenile delinquents in a child guidance clinic. The study was called the forty four thieves

The Ratio Of A Hedge Funds
We will extend our findings about undercapitalization in Table 4 based on our conclusions from
Table 3. From Table 3, we know that there are 222 undercapitalized live hedge funds, and it
consists only 8.1% of all the live funds. From this we can reach the conclusion that only a small
fraction of live hedge funds are undercapitalized. Most of the live hedge funds (about 91.9%) can
stay out of the risk of being undercapitalized. While the undercapitalized ratio for dead funds is
12.3%, so more dead funds are undercapitalized compared with the ratio of live funds. Since the
ratio of undercapitalization plays an important role in determining the performance of a hedge fund,
we will take a further look into the details of undercapitalization in Table 4. We list a number of
variables that would usually have influence on the cap ratio. By comparing the different variable
values under the category of adequately capitalized funds and under capitalized funds, we can
determine the key elements that would usually influence the cap ratio of a hedge fund. Table 4
also illustrates the comparative characteristics between live and dead hedge funds. We can specify
the characteristics in the following points. First, the mean of the net asset for the undercapitalized
live funds is $88.4 million and the corresponding value for the capitalized funds is $206.1 million.
The huge difference between these two values means a positive condition in the capital adequacy
of the live funds. More live hedge

Altruistic Surrogacy Research Paper
Utilizing a surrogate mother to carry our potential child is the choice for us. Initially, the idea of
exchanging a baby for money is a process that appears emotionless and materialistic, but when one
looks at the reasoning behind the decision, it proves to be just the opposite. In chapter 6 of Moral
Choices: An Introduction to Ethics it refers to Altruistic Surrogacyas, an arrangement without a fee,
occurs when a close friend or familymember functions as a surrogate solely out of a generous
desire to impart the gift of life . (Rae, p. 252) I believe we have many women in our life that

Healthcare is a right to the American people and it is present to prevent and treat pain and
illnesses on a standard level. (Garrett, p. 239) Paying a surrogate is a person s privilege and like
other privileges, not all can afford to execute such options when considering parenthood.
Naturally, the goal is for all to have access to the basic needs; food, health care and happiness,
but not all have equal levels of such items; that is how our society works. One person s lifestyle
may afford steak and lobster and the others macaroni and cheese. Both are being fed, but one
type of food is costlier than the other. Rich or poor, both should have the opportunity to those
privileges, but the journey to get there may be more difficult than the person who was born into
money. Pressure should not arise on the end of the parents initiating the service from the
surrogate mother and fair compensation and medical coverage are among many terms that
should be discussed before deciding to use a surrogate. (Garrett, p. 232) The opportunity to use a
surrogate may not be available to those less wealthy, but that may be for good reason. Women
who have less income are more likely to not be able to afford the necessities for a child, whereas a
mother who can afford surrogate services is more likely to be able to afford the material aspects
of raising one. The women who are less fortunate income wise, may be that way because they do
not have the added income from a

Adam And Eve In The Garden Of Eden Plot
Fact: One fact that I found particularly interesting is the concept that one of the main characters of
this story, Lizzie, never altered or fell into the temptation of the Goblin s fruit. Even with the
variety of fruit the Goblin s were offering the two, Lizzie was always adamant that there was
something not to trust. On the other hand, Laura was extremely enticed by what they had to offer.
Lizzie witnessed her sister give into the temptation and the great pleasure she initially gained from
indulging, and she still never budged in her judgment of not trusting the Goblins. I find this
personally interesting because often society tends to follow what everyone else is doing and give
into temptation even when we know it is wrong. I hate to admit it, but I have given into these
pressures more than once. After reading this story I was left with a great admiration for Lizzie s
strength.

Truck Accident Statistics Research Paper
So what are the contributing factors to these frightening truck accident statistics?
o Driver fatigue. Truck drivers are pushing their limits to deliver their goods, driving with little
sleep and an extra load of stress. They re driving faster and pushing the envelope of safety. They
keep less and less distance between themselves and the passenger cars nearby.
o Inexperienced truck drivers who lack training.
o Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
o Driving too fast. Did you know that a mere 10 mph over the speed limit can nearly double the
distance a truck needs to brake safely from 315 feet to 400 feet. In wet weather, those figures
practically double to 720 feet for a full stop.

natural gas trades (i.e. North America, Europe and Asia).
The gas demand has gradually grown more than expectation in the past years and demand is
mostly specific to the country, based on high price of crude oil, security of supply and climate
change of the country. Nevertheless, natural gas is still the highest source of energy after

to cutbacks in our department, we have fewer employees to do the job. Spreading out the daily
task was difficult with only six employees. Therefore, the answer to the problem was to make up
two teams. Our director divided us into teams with a supervisor and she gave the teams the power
to perform all of the tasks that where needed to run the department. Everyone s ideas and skills
were evaluated and put into action in one way or another. By having the entire department working
together as two teams, we were able to complete the job with the power resting on the supervisors to

different problems everyday in our changing business world. The idea of empowerment in the

Different situations where empowerment can be implemented were explained with the different
steps in how to apply them in the organization. Lastly, a shared personal experience showed how

Car Warranties
Car Warranties Manufacturer or Factory Warranties Manufacturer or factory warranties help
maintain the new car and are included in the purchase price. But, the customer must carefully
read the fine print. Understanding what the warranty covers is crucial. A warranty or service
contract is a promise to perform or pay for the listed repairs or services. Car dealers have various
categories and types of warranties and the names or titles are not the same from one dealer or
manufacturer to another. But, for the most part, there are two major types of manufacturer
warranties. There is the bumper to bumper warranty. Unfortunately, this warranty is not nearly as
comprehensive as the name suggests. Various components that deteriorate, because of wear and
tear like brake pads and tires, are excluded. In addition, labor costs are excluded. Another major
type of warranty is the Powertrain warranty. This warranty lasts longer than a bumper to bumper
warranty but the coverage is usually limited to an even shorter list of items. The list normally
includes the various components of a car s engine and transmission. Buying A Demo A normal

Letter From The Qianlong Emperor King George IIi
History Assignment 2 Document Analysis: Letter from the Qianlong Emperor to King George
III In 1793, in the midst of the French revolution in Europe, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing state,
who reigned over the Chinese empire from 1735 95, responded to a request made by an envoy
sent by King George III of Britain. The envoy sent, known as the Macartney embassy and
fronted by Lord Macartney, was for the purpose of discussing the condition of relations between
Great Britain and the Qing empire and possible alterations to their state of trade. By the time the
letter was written and the embassy arrived in the Chinese capital city Peking ( known as
Beijing), Qianlong ruled the largest and wealthiest political state anywhere in the world, ruling
over one third of the worlds population. These notions of prosperity and grandeur as an Empire,
led Qianlong to reject all proposals sent by the King of Britain and his embassy. While under the
rule of the Emperor Qianlong, China s foreign policy and trade was beginning to unfold and open
up to Europe. Qianlong, however, still maintained a strict and regulated administration of all foreign
trade and foreign ability to exist within China. It is true that Europeans, in the service of the
dynasty, have been permitted to live at Peking, but they are compelled to adopt Chinese dress, they
are strictly confined to their own precincts and are never permitted to return home. All outside

understanding of the religions to which he refers. For example, he at times misunderstands the
scriptures he cites. The fundamental teaching of the Bhagavad Gita, for example, is not selfless....
duty, which he is seemingly paralleling to the Protestant concept of noblesse oblige. But it is
indeed the more demanding Hindu practice (yoga) of disinterested action, which demands
renunciation of the fruits of any deed. Professor Niebuhr views interfaith dialogue as a means to
overpower the absolutism of fundamentalism in all faith traditions. And yet, these are exactly the
people who are the most reluctant to participate in discussion with those of other faiths or even
other Christian denominations. Professor Niebuhr sees interfaith understanding as a civic
discipline, akin to honesty in paying taxes. While many Americans must travel a distance to
discover a Sikh or Native American with whom to engage in interfaith dialogue, Muslims are
another subject. The bibliography as well as the notes is a good resource for further reading.
These resources are especially significant for a book on interfaith dialogue as

The Development Of Attachment Bonds
The development of attachment bonds to other biological figures plays an important role in
emotional development. Throughout life, an individual will form several relationships, some of
which will be sincere and intimate while others will be superficial. However, collectively these
relationships provide the foundation of our communities, families, and friendships and become
essential to our survival as a species. A secure attachment bond can be classified as the interactive
emotional relationship between a caregiver and infantinvolving the emotional responses of the
caregiver to the infant s cues (Bowlby, 1969). These emotional responses can be expressed in a
variety of forms including gestures, sounds, or even movements. Thus, this interactive emotional
relationship between the caregiver and infant brings the two closer together creating an
environment that allows the infant to feel safe and secure, further developing their ability to
communicate and interact with others (Bowlby, 1969). So, in talking about attachment bonds, how
are attachments developed in the first place? Starting from birth, infants are essentially unattached
emotionally to any significant figure and show no social discriminatory responses to anyone
specific. As the baby grows and develops, they will enter the second phase in which they can
distinguish between familiar and unfamiliar faces, voices, and smells. At this point, they are not
completely attached to any one individual, despite their

The Epidemic Of Tobacco Use Essay
Salivary Biomarkers
Introduction:
Worldwide, tobacco use continues to be one of the leading causes of preventable death and has
been estimated to kill more than five million people annually1. Lately, the epidemic of tobacco use
has shifted from developed to developing countries2. It is estimated that by 2030 almost 10 million
people will die from tobacco use per year, with 70% of these deaths occurring in developing
countries. India accounts for one sixth of the tobacco related illnesses worldwide and is
estimated to face an exponential increase in tobacco related mortality from 1.4% of all deaths in
1990 to 13.3% in 20203. In 2010, out of 52.8 million deaths that occurred worldwide out of which
34.5 million deaths were attributable to non communicable diseases; more than a quarter of these
occur in low income and middle income countries4 5. Use of tobacco is one of the major risk
factor for non communicable disease which is slowly threatening human life5.
Tobacco smoking in any form constitutes a major risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD),
hypertension (HTN), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), oral, nasopharyngeal,
bronchial and other visceral malignancies6 . Smoking 1 4 cigarettes per day significantly
increases the risk of cardiovascular disease7. Smoking also increases the risk of thrombosis8 (8).
Smokers are 3 times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes than the non smokers. Smokeless
tobacco users have a higher incidence of diabetes

Summary Of David Chura s Life
1.Overall David Chura s appearance was impacting enough. As someone who wants to go into
this field it was great to have someone who lived through it come in and talk to us. One
component of the discussion that really spoke out was the fact that each chapter was a reflection
of what really happened. So many authors write from ideas in their head. Even some individuals
who went through something and chose to write about it still change certain aspects about it.
David actually took his journals that he wrote and formed that into the book. It is great because the
wording and emotions that are brought while reading the book were some of what David was
actually feeling that day when he reflected on what happened and chose to write about it. In

What was learned in the classroom that day, brought some great points that can be beneficial in
real life. For example, when looking at the correctional officers who are power crazy, that is
something that is good to have knowledge of. In addition, even if my career does not end up in a
jail, you can see these characteristics in individuals in just about any workplace. The only
difference is it is probably not to the same extent. Another lesson that can be benefiting is the fact
that when working with this specific population problems can arise when they are released. This is
something important to consider when entering the field. For example, David said that he played a
positive role with the inmates for the most part although he still is hesitant for the individuals he
helped. This brought the idea that what about if the individual does not have a positive role with
the inmates and they are released. What are the concerns with seeing these individuals out in
public? David summed it up very well about acknowledging them if they acknowledge you, but it
is important not to bring attention to it due to the fact that some individuals do not want others to
acknowledge their past. Furthermore, a great component that was learned was the fact that David
touched on self care. In this field work it can be very easy to take the stress from the inmate s
home with you. Some are just given a bad hand at life and did not deserve the abuse they
encountered. David said that he would

Legalizing Marijuana For Open Recreational Use
In 2014, Florida joined the growing ranks of states that have found themselves engaged in the
legislative and moral debates regarding whether the time has arrived to legalize the possession,
distribution, and use of marijuana for medicinal and/or recreational use. While hotly debated on
both sides, one of the more ironic factors regarding the issue of legalization is that it was found
to be perhaps the most logically and fairly debated topics of the state s recent mid term elections.
The facts of legalization are becoming more black and white and less about morality, which may
be a testament to why 24 U.S. states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws legalizing
medicinal marijuana. Of those states, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado have also
legalized marijuana for recreational use. Although the idea of legalizing marijuana for open
recreational use may further incense opponents of its government sanctioning, it can also be
contended that doing so only gives state and federal entities a better ability to monitor how
marijuana is being distributed and removes a great deal of the temptation or necessity for users and
distributors to use subvert the process of medicinal dispensing to obtain cannabisfor recreational
consumption. This issue also creates a new angle on states rights, as each state is legally able to
enact its own policies and laws, yet the federal government can ultimately intervene and determine
any state s legislation to be illegal.

Should Healthcare Workers Have Tattoos Research Paper
Healthcare professionals, who are trying to get a job, shouldn t be denied based on their physical

tattoos. A person gets a tattoo not because he or she is bored or wants attention, but because that

instance, wearing sleeves or covering them up with a watch of bracelets, so that patients won t

Assembly Line Olympics of History
Assembly Line Olympics of History Assembly lines are a big part of manufacturing in almost
every country in the world. Some work better than others, so an analytical breakdown would be
required to be able to tell which factories and countries are more effective than others, and what
they do to get that way. The function of organized work and division of labor has been around
since ancient times. On the timeline of organized work, the closer one gets to modern day, the
more organized labor becomes, and the more labor gets divided. It started with the three basic
job groups, food, child care, and shelter (Kranzberg, 1). Then, in places such as Greece, Rome,
Egypt, and Mesopotamia, labor was divided up by social classes. The rulers and nobility were
the ones overseeing the work and directing the economy, (Hannan, 2), while the priests held
knowledge of writing, reading, math, and the more scholarly subjects. Next down the line were
clerks and scribes, (Kranzberg, 2), and then merchants and traders underneath them who bought
and sold goods. Then there were peasants, slaves, and lastly prisoners of war who were forced to
work. We can see some similarities of this ancient hierarchy in modern day. The social/working
pecking order of ancient times hasn t faded. We have the government officials, the politicians, the
doctors lawyers, the modern merchants and salesmen, the working class, and even convicts who
work to earn credit or are even forced to work.

Designing A Computer Network -such
There are many things to consider when designing a computer network such as costs of
components, software and labor; communication, cohesion, expandability and many others.
However, the end goal in such an enterprise is to have a fully functional, harmonious, and
cohesive tiered system where duties and actions are divided, and delineated accordingly. One of
the major network architectures used to facilitate this process is known as the TCP/IP Protocol
Suite. The TCP/IP Protocol Suite was designed by scientists in the effort to support a new type
of network known as the ARAPNET that was being installed across the US in the late 60 s to 70
s. (White, 2013, p. 15) The challenge was to create an open system whereby all networks could
freely communicate with each other. The design was based on a layered system whereby the
user would connect at the topmost (or application) layer, while at the same time being removed
or separated from the lower (physical) layer. Although the number of layers is not exactly set,
depending on the source this number can range between five and seven layers, with each layer
providing services to the layer above it. For the purposes of this discussion however, we will
address the five layer model. The five layers of the TCP/IP Protocol Suite are: Application,
Transport, Network, Network Access (or Data Link), and Physical. (White, 2013, p. 15) Application
This layer supports all of the applications on the network. Some of the most frequent

Polygamy in the United States
Polygamy is the practice of having multiple spouses at one time, and has been considered a
controversial social and legal topic in society, gaining attention as a subject in which multiple
opinions are held. As the topic has become a part of mainstream culture through media accounts of
polygamist families by news outlets and reality television, confusion has emerged in reference to its
main characteristics and legitimacy as a form of marriage. However, this kind of marriage is
intriguing because it enters more than two individuals into the union, potentially causing a change
in husband wife dynamics. In particular, polygamywith multiple wives proves to be more common
in media accounts of these relationships. That being said, appreciating this form of marriage, as in
any union, requires an understanding of how the different social players behave and the general
interactions of the husband wife relationships. Likewise, it is important to understand how this type
of union exemplifies the typical United States ideals of marriage. With more information regarding
polygamist marriages, society can better understand its similarities and differences from normative
patterns, ultimately eliminating some of the stigma placed on the husbands and wives of these
relationships.
Literature Review Like many social trends, marriage in the United States has changed over time.
Investigation of these trends can aid in the comprehension of the status of marriage in our society,

my school are Nerd Herd, Theater club, French club, and art club. Some of the classes are drama,
art, Spanish, French, and career investigation. Some activities are soccer, basketball, football,
and school dances. One of these that students enjoy is art club. Students enjoy art club because it
s fun, it s a stress reliever, and they get to hang out with friends. Students enjoy art club because
it s fun. One way that art club is fun is that students get to do whatever they want, on certain
projects. A way that students get to do whatever they want is that they may put flowers on their
project and someone else may put robots on theirs. There are really cool projects to do, and if
students like art than they ll love to do these projects! One of these projects is ice dyeing. Last
year in art club we ice dyed T shirts and pillowcases. Ice dying is like tie dying, in the way that
they both diy the fabric, and students certainly don t diy anything in a regular art class. Another
example is a chalk board. Last year in art club we made small chalk boards with whatever we
wanted on them. None of the chalk boards were the same, they were all different. Some of them

Abstract pGLO is a plasmid that contains several genes, araC, gfp, bla, and an ori of replication. E.
coli was artificially induced that became a competent bacteria when it took the pGLO DNA, so it
had the ability to have ampicillin resistance and fluoresced when arabinose was present. Two tubes
with E. coli were labeled to differentiate which tube the pGLO was added to, then through several
steps the bacteria was induced to intake the pGLO DNA. At the end, each tube was inoculated on
to three different plates that contained different substances and they were incubated then
observed. The results showed only one E. coli culture had growth and fluoresced which was the
pGLO+ E. coli that was grown on the plate with LB, amp +arab, there were only two E. coli
cultures that did not grow because the pGLO E. coli did not have the ampicillin resistance to grow
in ampicillin conditions, and the rest of the culture plates showed growth. pGLO could be used in
food safety experiments done by the food safety department that helped to identify Salmonella and
Yersinia enterocolitica in pig slurry, so they were able to calculate how long these bacteria lived in
certain conditions before disinfectants were used.

The Issue Of Paid Parental Leave
INTRODUCTION
Is America falling behind the rest of the world in terms of the services it provides? As a proud
citizen of this great nation I, unfortunately, have to say yes. Our once outstanding country has been
falling behind in a number of areas including technology, education, economics, and yes, even in
family care! America is now one of only three industrialized countries that hasn t set up a
nationwide policy for paid parental leave. With this knowledge I desired to know more,
particularly if we as a nation are not doing much to rectify the situation. Then, to learn if any
states were doing something about this issue which effects so many people in the workforce. I
wanted to see exactly how far behind, compared to the rest world, we are in the issue of paid
parental leave. The Pew Research Center conducted a study of government supported leave in
38 OECD countries, and found that the US had the lowest figures with zero weeks of paid leave.
Though we did fare better when it came to the number of weeks provided for protected leave
with 12 weeks. We were still far worse than most other OECD countries (see Figure 1 at right).
Knowing that we were rated worse I wanted to know what people are saying that we can and
should be doing to change this situation?

The Ideas Of Einstein And Freud
Mr. Schneiders World History Kyndall Roberts Feb. 12, 2015 Section 1: Question 3: The ideas
of Einstein and Freud were revolutionary because of how they shaped faith of reasoning and
science. Einstein shook the ideas and laws that Isaac Newton had formerly created about motion
and gravity. In 1905, Albert Einstein came up with the theory of relativity, which stated that
although the speed of light is constant, other things like space and time are not. He believed
that speed and time can change when it is measured relatively to an object moving near the
speed of light about 186,000 miles/hour. These ideas had implications not only for science, but
for the world. There was uncertainty and relativity that replaced the sense of security that came
with Isaac Newton s laws. Einstein and Isaac s point of views were very different. Sigmund
Freud had ideas that were as revolutionary as Einstein s. Freud treated psychology patients. From
his experiences, he constructed a theory about the human mind. He came up with the idea that a
part of the human mind is irrational, but it is now called the unconscious. In the unconscious,
many drives existed, such as pleasure seeking drives that the conscious mind was unaware of.
Freud s ideas actually weakened faith in reasoning. By the 1920 s, Freud s ideas had developed
widespread influence. Question 4: Literature in the 1920 s was affected by World War 1. The
brutality of the war caused philosophers and writers to question ideas about

  • 2. Emily Dickinson’s Because I Could Not Stop For Death Essay Emily Dickinson s Because I could not stop for Death is a remarkable masterpiece that exercises thought between the known and the unknown. Critics call Emily Dickinson s poem a masterpiece with strange haunting power. In Dickinson s poem, Because I could not stop for Death, there is much impression in the tone, in symbols, and in the use of imagery that exudes creativity. One might undoubtedly agree to an eerie, haunting, if not frightening, tone in Dickinson s poem. Dickinson uses controlling adjectives slowly and passed to create a tone that seems rather placid. For example, We slowly drove He knew no haste / ...We passed the School ... / We passed the Setting Sun, sets a slow, quiet, calm, and dreamy atmosphere (5, 9, 11, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In addition to these three stages, the final stage of eternity was symbolized in the last two lines of the poem, the Horses Heads (23), leading towards Eternity (24). Dickinson fathomed the incomprehensible progression of life by unraveling its complexity with figurative symbols. Emily Dickinson dresses the scene such that mental pictures of sight, feeling, and sound come to life. The imagery begins the moment Dickinson invites Her reader into the Carriage. Death slowly takes the readers on a sight seeing trip where they see the stages of life. The first site We passed was the School, where Children strove (9). Because it deals with an important symbol, the Ring this first scene is perhaps the most important. One author noted that the children, at recess, do not play (as one would expect them to) but strive (Monteiro 20). In addition, at recess, the children performed a venerable ritual, perhaps known to all, in a ring. This ritual is called Ring a ring a roses, and is recited: Ring a ring a roses, A pocket full of posies; Hush! hush! hush! hush! We re all tumbled down. (qtd. in Greenaway 365) Monteiro made the discovery and concluded that For indeed, imbedded in their ritualistic game is a reminder of the mortal stakes that the poet talks about elsewhere (21). On this invited journey, one vividly sees the Children playing, laughing, and singing. This scene conveys deep emotions and moods ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

If someone in the group did not want to follow, the headman does not have the power to force anyone to follow his ideas, to move the camp, or were to hunt. They do not own anything nor do they want to. They will produce items from the forest know as rattan. These good often traded for other rattan that is not native to them. The Batek might do some light agriculture work, but mostly, they are foragers that live off the land and enjoy the peace that comes with common wealth. The Batek have no concept of land ownership the idea is absurd to them and natural resources in the forest cannot be owned until someone harvests them (Peaceful n.d). Without ownership and money, there is no greed or lust of what another person has. Simplicity is that of the Batik; they are peaceful, helpful and encouraging. They are able to form a band that is looking out for each other, they are economically peaceful, and believe in a higher power that gets them through life. • 5. Fruit Mold Lab Report Fruit Molds Brenna Rivera November 29, 2016 Anaruth Alfaro Abstract In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different environments to asses which fruit would have the most mold and in which environment the mold would be present the most. For the experiment we used fruits that were in season so that we could also compare organic and non organic fruit. Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We hypothesized that peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would rot the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed over a period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the most and burst and the peaches in the incubator were the first to go. Introduction After learning about different types of mold in lab as well as in lecture, my group and I were interested in studying mold more. We wanted to know which fruits from our selected few would rot the most and in which environment would they be most likely to rot or mold in. We learned... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We will also see if there is any big difference between organic and inorganic fruit. According to our lab on fungus we already knew what the mold would look like so we were pretty confident that we would be able to identify it without a problem (lab 17 The Kingdom Fungi). With our own knowledge we hypothesized that that out of the tomatoes, peaches, and apples that the peaches would rot the most and that they would rot the most while in the incubator (an environment which is approximately 90 degrees Fahrenheit). About a month later and having observed our fruits in various increments we found that the peaches and the tomatoes were pretty close together but they peaches ultimately molded the most and molded the most within the ... • 6. Bruce Springsteen s Tunnel Of Love Tunnel of Love is unlike any other album that Bruce Springsteen has written. This was an album full of love songs, songs about the ups, downs, trust and loyalty that come with being in a relationship. The Tunnel of love album is drastically different from the previous Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A.; those two albums both talked about the struggles and hardships of the working class, a motif that does not appear in Tunnel of Love. The beat of this album differs greatly from that of Born in the U.S.A. this album isn t as up beat and fun, instead the album is more down beat and sounds somewhat sad. This album as a whole shows us that when someone doesn t understand himself/herself it can hurt his or her relationship, and lead to unfaithfulness. Springsteen refers to marriage in the songs Walk like a Man , Cautious Man , and Spare Parts . Cautious Man is a song about a man who enjoyed his life of solitude and wandering, and always chose the life he was used to over love until one day when a woman caught his attention. He fell in love, and married her soon after meeting her. Bruce Springsteen married American model Julianne Phillips in 1985, after the release of Tunnel of Love. On the album, many of the songs described his unhappiness in the relationship with Phillips, and in 1989 (two years after the release of Tunnel of Love) they got a divorce. Although Bruce Springsteen denies this, many people, including myself, believe that Cautious Man is an autobiographical ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Attachment Theory Essay Chris Livoti3/5/13 IB Psychology Mrs. Urso John Bowlby is the pioneer of the attachment theory and worked with children who had been separated from their parents during World War 2. He observed that many of these children developed emotional problems, and he made the connection that the emotional problems stemmed from the separation from the mother. Bowlby was born in London to an upper class family, and would rarely see, and interact with his mother. At the young age of seven he was sent off to boarding school, which was very common for boys of his social status. He would later go on to say I wouldn t send a dog away to boarding school at age seven. These circumstances would lead ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Finally was mild deprivation which could result in minor problems for the child, but no serious complications. Bowlby s main theory which he is most well known for is his Attachment Theory. Bowlby believed that for a strong attachment to be formed there must be proximity maintenance (the desire to be near the people we are attached to), a safe haven(returning to the attachment figure for comfort and safety in the face of a fear or threat), a secure base(the attachment figure acts as a base of security from which the child can explore the surrounding environment),and separation distress (anxiety that occurs in the absence of the attachment figure). The main points of his attachment theory were that a child has an innate need to attach to one main attachment figure(monotropy). Another main point in his theory was that he believed a child should receive the continuous care of the single most important attachment figure for the first two years of life. Bowlby used the term maternal deprivation to refer to the failure to develop an attachment, and to refer to the separation or loss of a mother. To support his hypothesis that the relationship between the infant and mother in the first five years was crucial to socialization, and the disruption of this relationship can lead to emotional difficulties, antisocial behavior, and delinquency, he studied forty four juvenile delinquents in a child guidance clinic. The study was called the forty four thieves study, and the goal was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. The Ratio Of A Hedge Funds We will extend our findings about undercapitalization in Table 4 based on our conclusions from Table 3. From Table 3, we know that there are 222 undercapitalized live hedge funds, and it consists only 8.1% of all the live funds. From this we can reach the conclusion that only a small fraction of live hedge funds are undercapitalized. Most of the live hedge funds (about 91.9%) can stay out of the risk of being undercapitalized. While the undercapitalized ratio for dead funds is 12.3%, so more dead funds are undercapitalized compared with the ratio of live funds. Since the ratio of undercapitalization plays an important role in determining the performance of a hedge fund, we will take a further look into the details of undercapitalization in Table 4. We list a number of variables that would usually have influence on the cap ratio. By comparing the different variable values under the category of adequately capitalized funds and under capitalized funds, we can determine the key elements that would usually influence the cap ratio of a hedge fund. Table 4 also illustrates the comparative characteristics between live and dead hedge funds. We can specify the characteristics in the following points. Initially, the idea of exchanging a baby for money is a process that appears emotionless and materialistic, but when one looks at the reasoning behind the decision, it proves to be just the opposite. In chapter 6 of Moral Choices: An Introduction to Ethics it refers to Altruistic Surrogacyas, an arrangement without a fee, occurs when a close friend or familymember functions as a surrogate solely out of a generous desire to impart the gift of life . Naturally, the goal is for all to have access to the basic needs; food, health care and happiness, but not all have equal levels of such items; that is how our society works. One person s lifestyle may afford steak and lobster and the others macaroni and cheese. Both are being fed, but one type of food is costlier than the other. Rich or poor, both should have the opportunity to those privileges, but the journey to get there may be more difficult than the person who was born into money. Pressure should not arise on the end of the parents initiating the service from the surrogate mother and fair compensation and medical coverage are among many terms that should be discussed before deciding to use a surrogate. (Garrett, p. 232) The opportunity to use a surrogate may not be available to those less wealthy, but that may be for good reason. Women who have less income are more likely to not be able to afford the necessities for a child, whereas a mother who can afford surrogate services is more likely to be able to afford the material aspects of raising one. Adam And Eve In The Garden Of Eden Plot Fact: One fact that I found particularly interesting is the concept that one of the main characters of this story, Lizzie, never altered or fell into the temptation of the Goblin s fruit. Even with the variety of fruit the Goblin s were offering the two, Lizzie was always adamant that there was something not to trust. On the other hand, Laura was extremely enticed by what they had to offer. Lizzie witnessed her sister give into the temptation and the great pleasure she initially gained from indulging, and she still never budged in her judgment of not trusting the Goblins. The envoy sent, known as the Macartney embassy and fronted by Lord Macartney, was for the purpose of discussing the condition of relations between Great Britain and the Qing empire and possible alterations to their state of trade. By the time the letter was written and the embassy arrived in the Chinese capital city Peking ( known as Beijing), Qianlong ruled the largest and wealthiest political state anywhere in the world, ruling over one third of the worlds population. These notions of prosperity and grandeur as an Empire, led Qianlong to reject all proposals sent by the King of Britain and his embassy. The author refers to several advocates of religious reconciliation, including the Dalai Lama, Martin Buber, Abraham Heschel, Thomas Merton, and Pope John Paul II. And yet, these are exactly the people who are the most reluctant to participate in discussion with those of other faiths or even other Christian denominations. Professor Niebuhr sees interfaith understanding as a civic discipline, akin to honesty in paying taxes. • 21. The Development Of Attachment Bonds The development of attachment bonds to other biological figures plays an important role in emotional development. Throughout life, an individual will form several relationships, some of which will be sincere and intimate while others will be superficial. However, collectively these relationships provide the foundation of our communities, families, and friendships and become essential to our survival as a species. A secure attachment bond can be classified as the interactive emotional relationship between a caregiver and infantinvolving the emotional responses of the caregiver to the infant s cues (Bowlby, 1969). These emotional responses can be expressed in a variety of forms including gestures, sounds, or even movements. Thus, this interactive emotional relationship between the caregiver and infant brings the two closer together creating an environment that allows the infant to feel safe and secure, further developing their ability to communicate and interact with others (Bowlby, 1969). So, in talking about attachment bonds, how are attachments developed in the first place? Starting from birth, infants are essentially unattached emotionally to any significant figure and show no social discriminatory responses to anyone specific. Legalizing Marijuana For Open Recreational Use In 2014, Florida joined the growing ranks of states that have found themselves engaged in the legislative and moral debates regarding whether the time has arrived to legalize the possession, distribution, and use of marijuana for medicinal and/or recreational use. While hotly debated on both sides, one of the more ironic factors regarding the issue of legalization is that it was found to be perhaps the most logically and fairly debated topics of the state s recent mid term elections. The facts of legalization are becoming more black and white and less about morality, which may be a testament to why 24 U.S. states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws legalizing medicinal marijuana. Of those states, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado have also legalized marijuana for recreational use. Although the idea of legalizing marijuana for open recreational use may further incense opponents of its government sanctioning, it can also be contended that doing so only gives state and federal entities a better ability to monitor how marijuana is being distributed and removes a great deal of the temptation or necessity for users and distributors to use subvert the process of medicinal dispensing to obtain cannabisfor recreational consumption. Some work better than others, so an analytical breakdown would be required to be able to tell which factories and countries are more effective than others, and what they do to get that way. The function of organized work and division of labor has been around since ancient times. On the timeline of organized work, the closer one gets to modern day, the more organized labor becomes, and the more labor gets divided. It started with the three basic job groups, food, child care, and shelter (Kranzberg, 1). Then, in places such as Greece, Rome, Egypt, and Mesopotamia, labor was divided up by social classes. The rulers and nobility were the ones overseeing the work and directing the economy, (Hannan, 2), while the priests held knowledge of writing, reading, math, and the more scholarly subjects. Next down the line were clerks and scribes, (Kranzberg, 2), and then merchants and traders underneath them who bought and sold goods. Then there were peasants, slaves, and lastly prisoners of war who were forced to work. We can see some similarities of this ancient hierarchy in modern day. • 30. Designing A Computer Network -such There are many things to consider when designing a computer network such as costs of components, software and labor; communication, cohesion, expandability and many others. However, the end goal in such an enterprise is to have a fully functional, harmonious, and cohesive tiered system where duties and actions are divided, and delineated accordingly. One of the major network architectures used to facilitate this process is known as the TCP/IP Protocol Suite. The TCP/IP Protocol Suite was designed by scientists in the effort to support a new type of network known as the ARAPNET that was being installed across the US in the late 60 s to 70 s. (White, 2013, p. 15) The challenge was to create an open system whereby all networks could freely communicate with each other. The design was based on a layered system whereby the user would connect at the topmost (or application) layer, while at the same time being removed or separated from the lower (physical) layer. Although the number of layers is not exactly set, depending on the source this number can range between five and seven layers, with each layer providing services to the layer above it. For the purposes of this discussion however, we will address the five layer model. The five layers of the TCP/IP Protocol Suite are: Application, Transport, Network, Network Access (or Data Link), and Physical. (White, 2013, p. 15) Application This layer supports all of the applications on the network. Some of the most frequent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Polygamy in the United States Polygamy is the practice of having multiple spouses at one time, and has been considered a controversial social and legal topic in society, gaining attention as a subject in which multiple opinions are held. As the topic has become a part of mainstream culture through media accounts of polygamist families by news outlets and reality television, confusion has emerged in reference to its main characteristics and legitimacy as a form of marriage. However, this kind of marriage is intriguing because it enters more than two individuals into the union, potentially causing a change in husband wife dynamics. In particular, polygamywith multiple wives proves to be more common in media accounts of these relationships. That being said, appreciating this form of marriage, as in any union, requires an understanding of how the different social players behave and the general interactions of the husband wife relationships. Likewise, it is important to understand how this type of union exemplifies the typical United States ideals of marriage. With more information regarding polygamist marriages, society can better understand its similarities and differences from normative patterns, ultimately eliminating some of the stigma placed on the husbands and wives of these relationships. Literature Review Like many social trends, marriage in the United States has changed over time. Investigation of these trends can aid in the comprehension of the status of marriage in our society, while also ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Benefits Of Art Club In School Does your school offer a variety of clubs, classes, and activities? Most schools do. Some clubs at my school are Nerd Herd, Theater club, French club, and art club. Some of the classes are drama, art, Spanish, French, and career investigation. Some activities are soccer, basketball, football, and school dances. One of these that students enjoy is art club. Students enjoy art club because it s fun, it s a stress reliever, and they get to hang out with friends. Students enjoy art club because it s fun. One way that art club is fun is that students get to do whatever they want, on certain projects. A way that students get to do whatever they want is that they may put flowers on their project and someone else may put robots on theirs. There are really cool projects to do, and if students like art than they ll love to do these projects! One of these projects is ice dyeing. Last year in art club we ice dyed T shirts and pillowcases. Ice dying is like tie dying, in the way that they both diy the fabric, and students certainly don t diy anything in a regular art class. Another example is a chalk board. Last year in art club we made small chalk boards with whatever we wanted on them. None of the chalk boards were the same, they were all different. Some of them had flowers while others were stained. The last reason why art club is fun is that last year we had a party at the beginning and end of the year. At the meeting before each party each student signed up to bring in a type of ... • 33. A Summary On Pglo Pig Slurry pGLO Pig Slurry Ana Chiman Frank Alfano L13 11/19/15 Abstract pGLO is a plasmid that contains several genes, araC, gfp, bla, and an ori of replication. E. coli was artificially induced that became a competent bacteria when it took the pGLO DNA, so it had the ability to have ampicillin resistance and fluoresced when arabinose was present. Two tubes with E. coli were labeled to differentiate which tube the pGLO was added to, then through several steps the bacteria was induced to intake the pGLO DNA. At the end, each tube was inoculated on to three different plates that contained different substances and they were incubated then observed. The results showed only one E. coli culture had growth and fluoresced which was the pGLO+ E. coli that was grown on the plate with LB, amp +arab, there were only two E. coli cultures that did not grow because the pGLO E. coli did not have the ampicillin resistance to grow in ampicillin conditions, and the rest of the culture plates showed growth. pGLO could be used in food safety experiments done by the food safety department that helped to identify Salmonella and Yersinia enterocolitica in pig slurry, so they were able to calculate how long these bacteria lived in certain conditions before disinfectants were used. Introduction Transformation is a process when a bacteria cell was able to be incorporated into a sequence of DNA from the environment, this type of bacteria is called a competent ... Think of me as a classic example of a 19 year old American young man. After my parents divorced in 2000, I learned to be very versatile and independent. My family consists of two brothers, two sisters, my Mom / Stepfather, and my Dad / Stepmother. Surrounding me is two blended families that consistently show great support for me. As for hobbies, I have numerous ones. I enjoy hunting, fishing, strumming my guitar, playing all types of sports, but, mainly I can always be found with a football in my hand, or nearby. My values are conservative and I have a strong faith in God. The friends I have are a diverse mix of people from all races, religions, and walks of life. One thing that might interest people about me is that I am an old soul. Classic country (Johnny Cash in particular) is one of my favorite genres although I love all music. Essentially, I think of myself as an enthusiastic guy that is just happy to be alive. I have had a couple of intense accidents that might be considered brushes with death and I feel very blessed to still be here. Quite honestly, I never thought I would be writing an essay with the hopes of being accepted to Texas A M University. I did well in high school, but my class academic ranking was not high enough to apply to TAMU....for, I was only in the top 30%. Being an athlete, I played 4 years of ... • 35. The Issue Of Paid Parental Leave INTRODUCTION Is America falling behind the rest of the world in terms of the services it provides? As a proud citizen of this great nation I, unfortunately, have to say yes. Our once outstanding country has been falling behind in a number of areas including technology, education, economics, and yes, even in family care! America is now one of only three industrialized countries that hasn t set up a nationwide policy for paid parental leave. With this knowledge I desired to know more, particularly if we as a nation are not doing much to rectify the situation. Then, to learn if any states were doing something about this issue which effects so many people in the workforce. I wanted to see exactly how far behind, compared to the rest world, we are in the issue of paid parental leave. The Pew Research Center conducted a study of government supported leave in 38 OECD countries, and found that the US had the lowest figures with zero weeks of paid leave. Though we did fare better when it came to the number of weeks provided for protected leave with 12 weeks. We were still far worse than most other OECD countries (see Figure 1 at right). Knowing that we were rated worse I wanted to know what people are saying that we can and should be doing to change this situation? BACKGROUND The first recorded policy involving working pregnant women was in 1877 in Switzerland. It stated that a women could not work for at least six weeks after giving birth. Then in 1878 Germany issued a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The petition for post conviction relief was dismissed by the trial court; and on appeal the Court of appeals held that suppression of the evidence by the prosecution denied petitioner due process of law and remanded the case for a retrial of the question of punishment, not the question of guilt. Ruling: The Supreme Court held that withholding evidence violated the process where the evidence is crucial either to guilt or to punishment. The court also determined that under Maryland state law the withheld evidence could not have exculpated the defendant, but was material to the level of punishment he would be given. • 38. The Ideas Of Einstein And Freud Mr. Schneiders World History Kyndall Roberts Feb. 12, 2015 Section 1: Question 3: The ideas of Einstein and Freud were revolutionary because of how they shaped faith of reasoning and science. Einstein shook the ideas and laws that Isaac Newton had formerly created about motion and gravity. In 1905, Albert Einstein came up with the theory of relativity, which stated that although the speed of light is constant, other things like space and time are not. He believed that speed and time can change when it is measured relatively to an object moving near the speed of light about 186,000 miles/hour. These ideas had implications not only for science, but for the world. There was uncertainty and relativity that replaced the sense of security that came with Isaac Newton s laws. Einstein and Isaac s point of views were very different. Sigmund Freud had ideas that were as revolutionary as Einstein s. Freud treated psychology patients. From his experiences, he constructed a theory about the human mind. He came up with the idea that a part of the human mind is irrational, but it is now called the unconscious. In the unconscious, many drives existed, such as pleasure seeking drives that the conscious mind was unaware of. Freud s ideas actually weakened faith in reasoning. By the 1920 s, Freud s ideas had developed widespread influence. Question 4: Literature in the 1920 s was affected by World War 1. The brutality of the war caused philosophers and writers to question ideas about ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
