Case Study Of Entrepreneurship
ENTREPRENEURSHIP MINDSET TRAINING TO STRENGTHEN ENTREPRENEUR
CAREER: THE CASE OF CATHOLIC STUDENT UNION OF INDONESIA
Abstract
Currently, Indonesia has only 1.65% of entrepreneurs from the population of Indonesia. This
amount is still very small, compared to neighboring countries, Singapore has 7.2% businessman,
11% Japan, 10% China and Malaysia 3%, especially when compared with developed countries,
such as United States, the number of entrepreneurs has reached 11.5 %. To make young people
aware of the importance of creating their own jobs to increase income and family welfare,
entrepreneurship training needs to be done. The target of this training is young people in the

Aryan Race In Human History
1.The Aryan Race, which was originally created as a form of categorization was used in the late
19th century to the mid 20th century to describe multiple types of people. While originally
intended to be used as a neutral ethnolinguistic classification, the Nazis promoted it as more of a
racial hierarchy, making it known that the Germanic peoples were the Master racewho they then
called Aryan. The main role for the Aryan Race in human history was to become the Master Race,
creating all kinds of techniques, art, and science. Segments of modern and classic civilization were
built on this race, they were very ambitious with the mindset to move forward in history and
remain at the top. Aryans have always worked to be the leading group in humanity, dating back to
the deepest parts of their roots. Their ability to adapt and develop were impeccable which also made
them unconquerable in the eyes of many others, so nations served them without quarrel.

Hitler viewed the defeat in World War I as an inevitable outcome because he believed in one
thing that (to him) many people overlooked. He valued the purity in which we were born, the
preservation of our racial foundation, the strength that we possess as a whole when we re pure.
Many people during that time wanted to mix blood creating a force that was weaker than if they
were a pure blooded nation attacking at full force. The allied victory was a disappointment to
Hitler because in his eyes the nation was being robbed systematically and ultimately the country
was being destroyed. However, he did see a bright side to it all. While they did end up facing a
defeat, he knew that one day the new generation would come in to reflect on what the old
generation had done and work hard to continue what they had

Buffers Lab Report
Title: Buffering Capacity of Common Antacids including Tums, Generic Tums and Generic Alka
Seltzer.
Introduction: This experiment is going to test the ability of antacids and how they absorb acid to
see which is a better buffer. An antacid neutralizes acid, and this helps the most with heartburn.
Heartburn is where stomach acid is regurgitated back into the esophagus, and this causes a
burning feeling in the chest (Oxford University Press, 2017). A buffer is a source of hydroxide
ions that can absorb hydrogen ions, which in turn keeps the pH stable (Mader, 2017). In this
experiment, the different antacids that are being tested to absorb the hydrogen ions from stomach
acid are the buffers. The pH scale helps determine how acidic or basic a solution ... Show more

each antacid was being used for each solution. A mortar and pestle was used to crush each
antacid. The mortar and pestle was washed thoroughly between antacids. Each crushed antacid
was placed into a separate and appropriately labeled beaker with 100ml of water. Each beaker had
its own glass stir rod, and the solutions were stirred until the tablets were completely dissolved. 6
8 drops of bromcresol purple was added to each beaker (bromcresol purple does not change the
pH of a solution), and each solution was stirred to mix the indicator with the antacid. All
solutions became purple. 10ml of each antacid solution was removed from its beaker and placed
in an appropriately labeled test tube, using a pipette. The pipette was cleaned thoroughly between
transferring each antacid solution. 1 drop of 0.1m hydrogen chloride (HCl) was added to each test
tube. Each test tube was then swirled to mix thoroughly. 0.1m of HCl was continuously added to
each test tube drop by drop, mixing after each drop, until the solution lost its purple color and

Spot Fake Cashiers
Four Tips to Help a Small Business Owner Spot Fake $10 and $20 Bills
If you own a retail business that takes cash, it is important that you train your cashiers to spot fake
currency. For many businesses, it is a basic strategy to simply refuse bills over twenty dollars, but
you still have to deal with the problem of counterfeit $10 and $20 bills. The following are a few
things you and your cashiers should know to spot fake money in you store.
Look for the watermark
This is an image that can be seen when you hold the bill up to the light. The watermark will be a
face, and it will be the same face as the portrait on the bill. It will also be on the right side of the
front of the bill. There are several ways to detect a fake bill using the ... Show more content on

If you look closely when holding up the note to the light, you can see this thread. It is not printed,
but is a thread that is embedded in the bill. In addition, there is printing on the thread. For the $10
and $20 bills, there will be the letters USA. After this will be the word ten or twenty, depending
upon the denomination.
Using a counterfeit money detection pen
These pens are easy to use and are an important weapon in detecting counterfeit bills. Basically,
you make a mark on the bill the same way you would when using a felt pen. If the mark changes to
a color indicated by the manufacturer of the pen, then the bill is fake. These pens are checking for
certain common chemicals that are used when criminals produce fake money.
Check for the feel of the note and the printing
If you are still unsure after the above three checks, you can take a bill that is known to be
authentic and compare this to the suspicious bill. The first thing to compare is the feel of the bill.
Fake bills may have a thinner texture to them. A better comparison is with the printing. Authentic
bills have small and detailed printing that is produced from metal plates. When a bill is a forgery,
the details on a bill are often blurry. A magnifying glass is best used to detect these

The Spread Of The Great Chicago Fire Of 1871
On the date of October 8, 1871 the Great Chicago Fire was spreading through the city of
Chicago. Rain was a big facture in the fire, there was no rain in the 2 weeks leading up to the
fire. Plus before the fire, the people made most of the city of wood so all the dry wood was all
flammable. Back then they really didn t have a real fire department and the firefighters didn t
have a transportation system so they couldn t get to a fire until late. The people didn t take well
care of the river nearby so the river was polluted. As some theory s say is that one night a women
was milking a cow. With the lantern next to the cow and the woman the cow kicked the lantern

The Effects Of Pollution On The Air Quality Standard
The two biggest air pollution in California are transportation such as cars and trucks and
stationary sources such as oil refineries and industry facilities. Two major pollutions are ozone
and fine particulate materials. Ozone also known as smog. The cause of smog includes the
automobile and industrial processes that involve combustion of fossil fuels. The products of
fossil fuel consumption are sulfur dioxide, particles, ground level ozone, nitrogen oxides, carbon
monoxide and lead. Ground level ozone formed when nitrogen oxides and volatile organic
compounds heat up under the sunlight to produce ozone. These petroleum based fuels mainly
come from burning fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel: pollution that comes from our power
plants and industrial facilities and from the exhaust pipes of our cars, trucks, ships and trains.
US air quality standard is similar to World Health Organization (WHO) air quality standard that a

meet the standard at all. In Los Angeles metropolitan area, more than 12 million cars travel on the

a) CNC Drill vs Manual Drill
Let x be order size than В–
15 + 40x = 240 + 2x;x = 5.92;
From this equation we get x approximately equal to 6. So Donner Company should use the CNC

orders of less than 6 boards. This is because production time for CNC is less than manual for order

shows that net profit before taxes decreased considerably from $14,800 in August of 1987 to
$3,100 in September of the same year. Also net sales and gross profit margindecreased in this
period. All this can be attributed to huge inefficiencies that exist in the manufacturing processes of
Donner.
Major issues are В–
В•Poor Quality Items returned by customers increased from 1% to 3%. One tenth of the boards
returned to the Donner Company were damaged or out of tolerance while the rest were returned
due to the company not completing one or two different required operations.
В•Process Flow One of Donner s major problems lies in their process flow. There are many
bottlenecks and employee downtime which arise from poor process flow setup and unforeseen
problems.
В•Low Productivity В– For example Plater spent 15% of her time walking between her desk and
the plating tank. Also, plating and etching processes were located far form the machining operation.
В•Late Deliveries In 1987, Donner was faced with problems in meeting delivery schedules and
growing customer returns.

people use to complain about working too much and that they are overworked. However, if we

Essay on The Oxbow
The Oxbow, Thomas Cole
ART 101
Thomas Cole uses an implied line to separate the dark, untouched forest and dark sky with the
tranquil, cultivated farmland below. Cole uses an actual line to outline the banks of the
Connecticut River bending through the pastoral land. Actual lines are also used to define the
edge of the horizon in the distance. He also used actual lines to portray the rows of manicured
farmland. The first geometric shape I could make out is the triangle of the tiny easel in the
middle ground. Other geometric shapes include the outlines of the pastures and fields. You see
very angular boundaries and rows of plowed fields. There are plenty of organic shapes as well.
Most notably of course is the shape of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The actual light doesn t appear to have an effect on this paining. However, implied light does.
Cole uses chiaroscuro to create the illusion of the ominous nature of the forest and the dark
clouds, the impression of heavy rain clouds. Cole uses a strong value contrast between the natural
forest and the serine river valley. Light as a medium seems to me defined as actual light, which I
do not believe is used in two dimensional works.
I believe color, and in part lack of, is very important to this masterpiece. Cole colors the river valley
light green and light brown to show vibrancy and cultivation of the cleared fields. He colors the
forest dark green and eliminates colors in the shattered tree trunks and rugged cliffs to show the
natural wonder of the untouched forest. These differences in color show how man is destroying the
natural wilderness in favor of agricultural advancement.
I believe Cole purposely avoided the appearance of unity in this painting. The separation between
the two landscapes was not a peaceful transition. He wanted to show the diversity between the
natural land from the cultivated land.
I believe this painting is intentionally asymmetrical. Again, Cole wanted to show the non peaceful
transition between the two landscapes.

discussed at the debate taxes, immigration, education, Obama s decisions, war, Isis, woman rights,
and gay marriage. Not many answers were proposed rather there were lots of snarky comments.
Donald Trump has such a massive ego while he picked on his opponents; then later claimed that he

Mike Huckabee has once tried to run as president but failed so this is his second time running. In

Benefits Of A Hoodie
Clothing is mandatory in most places in the country. People often choose items they love, never
stopping to think about what their choices say about their personality. Don t let this happen. As
many places now offer custom printed items, a person can have an apparel item they love at less
than what they may imagine.
Printed hoodies remain a great way to stay warm when the weather turns cool. Why settle for a
plain hoodie, however, when a person can have one that truly reflects their interests and
personalities? Anyone can buy a hoodie with a brand name, but only a limited number of
individuals will benefit from wearing one with their school name or a club logo on it. This is a

items will benefit the organization hosting the drive. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition to students or members of the club, loved ones may also want to display their pride

choose to wear the hoodie to the gym or an exercise class, and everyone will find it easy to pull a
hoodie on when they head out to run errands. As they go about the city or town, others will learn
more about the school or organization found on the shirt.
Printed hoodies help to raise awareness of the school or club and do so at a very affordable price.
Individuals love this item simply because they can wear the clothing and save on their apparel
budget. They know the item will be appreciated by the wearer, as it provides insight into what is
important to that individual. As mentioned above, items of this type tend to get a great deal of use.

Tine S. Olsen and Brett Inder♦
ABSTRACT:
To explain the value added along the coffee commodity chain we propose and estimate a theoretical
model of the coffee commodity chain. The theoretical model consists of four markets and five
agents in the coffee commodity chain and predicts that prices in the coffee commodity chain move
together but are also influenced by income, technology and production. A vector error correction
model is used to test the theoretical predictions. In addition to the theoretical conclusions the
empirical model confirms the beneficial role of the International

Darity and Davis (2005) argue that in the study of uneven development the North South trade and
growth literature provides insights which have been neglected by the later literature of new growth
theory and new trade theory. This has encouraged us to apply North South models to the coffee
value chain. The theoretical model derived in section 2 builds on Bloch and Sapsford (2000) who
model primary commodities used as inputs in the production of manufacturing. Where Bloch and
Sapsford (2000) take an aggregate view of primary commodities and manufactures, we here focus
on coffee and hereby take an approach similar to Boratav (2001) who examines terms of trade for
individual commodities. And just like Bloch, Dockery, and Sapsford (2004) we analyse the effect
of mark up on wages and commodity prices on the final consumer prices.
Price transmission literature such as Hazell, Jaramillo, and Williamson (1990),
Mundlak and Larson (1992), Baffes and Gardner (2003), Krivonos (2004), Morisset (1998) and
Weldegebriel (2004) also offer a framework to analyse prices of commodities at different

nodes of the commodity chain. This part of the literature views producer and retail prices as
determined by world prices. In Bloch and Sapsford (2000) the price of manufactures, which is a
good higher up in the value chain if it is

Complexity theory is a subset of chaos theory, it focuses on how groups of living things behave.
It s primary advancement came through its application in biology with the pursuit for an
explanation regarding the evolutionary complexity of living organisms (5). Mikulecky in The
emergence of complexity: science coming of age or science growing old? offers a concise
definition of complexity: Complexity is the property of a real world system that is manifest in the
inability of any one formalism being adequate to capture all its properties (1). This carries major
implications in the ability of project managers to follow through on each project parameter.

Patrick Weaver in A Simple View of Complexity in Project Managementidentifies two primary
attributes of the social network, referred to as social capital: the knowledge required to deliver the
project outcome and the willingness to achieve the project outcome. Further details regarding these
notions and their application can be seen in the section Complexity theory for Project Management.
Chaos theory, traditionally, is a field of applied mathematics that studies the dynamic nature of
systems that are sensitive to initial conditions. The most famous case of this involves computer
simulated weather predictions by Edward Lorenz in 1960 at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. Here Lorenz discovered that minute changes to initial conditions introduced major and
unpredictable consequences to the weather system this became known as the butterfly effect. A
fundamental premise of chaos theory is that if there is only a finite amount of information about a
particular system, then at some point the system will no longer be predictable. Thus, chaos theory
focuses on how simple systems give rise to complicated and unpredictable behavior whereas
complexity theory focuses on how systems consisting of many elements lead to well organized and
predictable behavior. Due to this, chaos and complexity should be viewed as complementary ideas
in order to fully influence different thought processes as to how organizations and

they can be achieved (Mayer, Ryan, Aspinall, 2011). Indonesia is one of few developing countries
to announce the massive cut to their greenhouse gasemissions, showing their intense commitment to
help provide a solution to this global crisis. Now, Indonesia is taking a seat with the major
countries with equivalent climate pledges, By choosing to join this group of major countries with
climate pledges, Indonesia sent an important signal about the country s readiness to engage on this
global issue. Taking this stance was also in line with the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, Indonesia spearheaded movements worldwide on this crucial international matter
during the complicated negotiations in Bali. President Yudhoyono aspired to acquire the United
Nations Secretary General s position for the 2017 to 2022 term, so the Pittsburgh twenty six to
forty one percent target displayed a desired spotlight onto him on a global level. Lastly, another
facet that contributes to Indonesia s eagerness to get involved on climate change internationally is
universal citizenship and global prestige; the emissions target was a logical conclusion to its
engagement in international climate negotiations, following on from its diplomatic success with
the 2007 UN climate conference in Bali (Jotzo, 2011).
Indonesia is eager to address this global problem and has been very forward in expressing the
vast importance to tackle this issue before it continues to worsen with time. Indonesia is
considered one of the largest greenhouse gas emitters in the world, reaching a total of 2.05
gigatons emitted in 2005 (Forests and Landscapes in Indonesia.). Climate change is a worldwide
issue, which Indonesia recognizes and is taking action to help reduce their emissions to save the
planet. Suzanty Sitorus is Indonesia s Director in

The Use Of N95 Masks Versus Surgical Masks
At OHSU s Bone Marrow Transplant unit (BMT) and at the outpatient center for Hematologic
Malignancies (CHM) clinic, BMT patients are not fitted for N95 masks, yet they are being asked to
wear them. Therefore, the current issue is whether or not the unfitted N95 masks are actually more
beneficial than surgical masksfor the patients. This is because we are asking them to be worn
while not fitting them. I selected this topic because I noticed there were inconsistencies within
the practice of each nurse regarding the use of N95 masks versus surgical masks. When I probed
deeper, I realized that some of the nurses didn t know OHSU policy and were using best practice
from another institution, which stated to use surgical masks when transporting patients off of the
unit. This made me wonder why different institutions would have different policies and what the
actual best practice is according to evidence. The OHSU Policy #HC NSG BMT 205 POL
Infection Control Policy for Adult and Pediatric Oncology/Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant
(HSCT) Units states that patients shall wear an N 95 mask when outside the HEPA filtered
environment (OHSU, 2016).
This is important to me from a leadership role development because as an informal nurse leader,
it is my responsibility to own my own practice. In order to do this appropriately, I must fully
understand the policy of my place of employment and if that policy is not aligned with current best
evidence, it is my responsibility to

Creation Theology Paper
Creation happened at the beginning of time. In cultures all around the world, there can be found
explanations of how people came to be and how the world they live in was formed. Creation
theology is a bit different. It explains how Christians believe the God of the Bible formed the
world and how that impacts them today. A belief that most Christians hold that can be traced back
to the Apostle s Creed is that Godthe Father is maker of heaven and earth . This can be translated
in different ways however, and this paper will try and explain some of the different ways that the
Biblical account of Creation can be understood. Creation can also be linked to other beliefs of
the church, especially to Christ himself. The Biblical Creation of the world will be recognized in
this paper by being capitalized, creation will reference the beginning of the world and nature will
be used to describe what has been created like the plants, animals, and humans. In this paper, I will
explain the different parts of Creation theologyand connect Creation to other parts of Christology.
Creation Theology The story of how the world was created has been told in different ways since
the beginning of time. Nature clearly points out to humans that there is a God (Williams, 2007).
This can be called natural theology which uses nature to prove that there is a God (McGrath,
2008). The world is very complex with many different parts of it interwoven and dependent on each
other. It is very difficult to

The Parent Child Relationship
In many books whatever the literary genre they belong to, the topic of the parent child relationship
is often something used and represented. This relation can be represented in different ways
depending on the author and the genre but also depending on the effects it will have on the
readership and on its goal in the story. A very simplistic and legal definition of what a parentchild
relationship is can be given through the biological links. However, sometimes the relationship
between a parental figure such as an adoptive father/motherand its child is not that easy to
understand especially because a link which is different and sometimes stronger than the
biological one is created. This is why depending on which parental figure one refers to, parent
child relationships can be chaotic, a source of suffering or helpful and harmonised such as the
ones in Stephen King s The Shining. They can be represented as a form of unconditional love,
involving sometimes to risk one of the parent s life and to brave dangers like in Joseph Sheridan
Le Fanu s Carmilla. They can be completely omnipresent and terrible like the ones in Mary
Shelly s Frankenstein or they can be very confusing as it is the case in John Ajvide Lindqvist s
Let the Right One In. By studying the representations of the relationships between four fathers and
their children this essay will try to see how the almost scientific definition of the relation can be
applied to some characters of these books and how a more

multiple themes that give the movie more meaning. In the movie, you will see Andy Dufresne,
Ellis Boyd Redding (or known as Red,) Boggs, Warden Norton, Brooks Halten, and Tommy as
very important characters. This film possesses struggles of living in prison, and guilt that many
inmates feel from the crime they pursued. Most importantly, you will see friendships formed that

others, they think they gained so much more by going to prison. Finally, after receiving
redemption their lives continue. In my opinion, I would have liked the movie to have kept going

The Acceptable Agni And The Fire God
The Acceptable Agni
There are about three hundred million gods and goddesses combined in the Hinduism religion and
about only some of them are higher ranked than others gods and are considered the deities. One of
the gods that I found the most interesting is Agni. Agni, was addressed as the deva who ruled the
earth and is known as the fire god, the messenger of the gods between humans and heaven and the
fire of scared sacrifices and he was very important to the Vedas people.
The word Agni came from the word ngni it is prot indo European word for fire. Agni, also known

was in our stomachs. What this meant was that when we felt hungry he was the cause of it and
was the one to digest our food. Agni is a witness of everyone s actions both good and bad, he also
is present in important events in Hindu ceremonies such as weddings and in the birth or death
rituals and, he knows everyone s thoughts. It is said that the fire god has two heads, three to seven
tongues, three legs, seven arms and he rides a ram. One of the heads means immortality and the
other is the symbol of life, his tongues lick up the mess from the sacrifices. His three legs have their

Social Order Vs Police Order Essay
When civil rights and liberties are used interchangeably, confusion is created between the two. Civil
rights are the inalienable rights wrote about in the constitution. These inalienable rights restrict the
government s control over the freedom of the people. Tension is created when the government enact
laws to achieve absolute order which constantly interferes with individual s ideal freedom. Civil
liberties are what is ensured to each citizen by government. Conflict arises when the government s

Product Development and Module Strategy
The product development and module strategy is the use of modules, or platforms, to communize
the unique brands in VW s portfolio. This approach is implemented within the production phase
where similar parts, technology and systems designs, equipment and knowledge are used in various
VW brands to attain cost savings in procurement, research and development, worker training. This
platform strategy was implemented primarily in Europe where production costs were soaring and
profits decreasing. It eliminated various corporate redundancies that had caused the sagging profits.
By borrowing design ideas from VW s other brands, they were able to utilize common suppliers and
eliminate unique sub structures that added considerable cost in money, time or technology. This
strategy allowed a strong technology/knowledge transfer between plants.
Multi brand Strategy
The multi brand strategy was produced from the desire to have a presence in multiple automotive
markets, and therefore capture a full range of the customer spectrum. In addition, it is a solution
for one of the negative consequences of the module strategy; it was found that by commonizing
(www.forbes.com) some of the lower VW brands (Seat and Skoda) that the VW brands were no

Power And Authority In Big Brother, By George Orwell
The opening paragraph for chapter 11 begins with the story written by George Orwell in 1949
about how the government, Big Brother , came in between two lovers in order to restore the loyalty
to the state. While this is more extreme than any government we have today, it still shows that in
order to work, the government and politics need power and authority. Authority is power that is
viewed as legitimately exercised over an individual, while coercion is power that is viewed as
unjustly used over an individual. The state has a monopoly on violence and can use violence to
punish those it sees fit. The only way that the state could be punished is by the state s citizens, if
enough of them see their power as illegitimate. There are different types of authority that Max
Weberidentified; traditional, rational legal, and charismatic. Traditional authority comes from
patterns and customs that place certain people in power. Rational legal authority is based on law
and written rules. Charismatic authority is based on loyalty and can have many problems when it
comes to the transfer of leadership. There are many types of authority, and there are also many
types of government. There is a monarchy, based on hereditary rule, and a democracywhere citizens
give the ruler power. There is also a dictatorship where an individual is in charge of all, and a
oligarchy where a group is in charge of all. The U.S. political system is made up of Democrats and

People have fantasied for ages about how it was to be a knight in medieval times. Knights have

Biofuels As A Fuel Source
Biofuels as a Fuel Source: Paper 3 In a time of energy crisis and a subsequent search for a
renewable replacement for crude oil, biofuels have arisen as a source of hope. Currently, the largest
source of biofuels in the United States is corn based ethanol. The large scale of corn ethanol
production and the potential promise of finding a domestic, reliable source of energy, requires the
fuel s viability as a replacement for crude oil to be evaluated. However, there is debate surrounding
corn based ethanol s environmental, economic, and social impacts. The scientists and governments
who support the development of biofuels claim that it will not only provide a new and sustainable
source of energy but also that it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and is therefore better for the
environment. However, although corn based ethanol continues to harbor support from the United
States government, environmentalists argue that ethanol is not substantially better for the
environment, especially when the effects of its production are taken into account. Also, while some
larger farms profit from ethanol production, it places economic stress upon smaller farms and the
agricultural industry and leads to higher food prices that are a great detriment to those living at the
level of subsistence. Therefore, in order to produce energy efficient, environmentally friendly fuel,
the United States must work towards developing cellulosic biofuels and those produced by
microbes as they have

National Geographic Photographers Review
National Geographic (before the world wide web) brought the world to its readers. The
photographers are able to capture the world in a photo giving the reader greater understanding to
the article itself. The job of National Geographic photographer is revered as the dream job but the
reality is that it s a grueling task to get that perfect photo. Extreme weather, harsh environments and
dangers. Photographers have been injured and even killed just to get that image, that image that
than can be iconic in history. The assignments take them all over the world, during times of war,
places remote and dangerous. The photographers have to work for the shot, scaling trees, being in
the mist of wild and unpredictable animals, hostile people with weapons. One of the photographers

minimal ability to change. To walk into a vault of skeletons and see their humanity as they clung to
each other in an immortal embrace would be a challenge for anyone to photograph due to its

But having the relentlessness attitude, he went back and sat on the steps until Sam Phillips
would listen to his song (4). Phillips must have seen the diligence Cash had because Phillips
finally let him in and listened to the song Hey, Porter . Phillips liked the song but wanted
another song that had a more sentimental tone. Cash, with his hard working spirit, went home
that night to write the famously known song: Cry, Cry, Cry (5). This was the beginning of his
long career. He had the amazing opportunity to tour with Elvis Presley around the southern
states, along with other musicians (3).The song Cry, Cry, Cry became a hit on the Billboards
Top 20 at number 14. Along with that, two more songs followed to the top 10. But then there
was the sensational song, the song that everybody knows: I Walk the Line . This song was like
a surge and became number one on the Billboards Top 20 for a remarkable 44 weeks. After this
Cash s career sky rocketed. He got invited to the Grand Ole Opry in 1956, which was a colossal
event in Cash s life. He then switched from Sun to Columbia Records, which was located in
California. Cash then took himself and his family to move closer to the recording studio in
California. Although he sold over 6 million records he switched so he could be more open with
his musical style (5). Over the next decade he created many songs that hit the record charts and
appeared on many television shows. Mid 1960 s Johnny Cash broke down mentally,

Football Is Dangerous And Something That Should Not Be...
Football is considered to be dangerous and something that should not be played or watched by
people. The game should be played and watched because a lot of players work hard to fight
towards the ultimate goal of making it in the National Football League despite the possibilities
of injury. It is the player s responsibility to know when it is time for them to walk away and take
the proper safety procedures to keep them from injuring themselves. The players work hard and
do plenty of conditioning to try to keep them in shape and prevent their bodies from breaking
down. Many kids who play do it because they love the game and they gladly take the risk of injury.
Football is very popular for viewers as well. The National Football Leaguesaw a rise in ratings
following the wild card weekend this year compared to last years. Many TV networks saw a rise
in ratings such as NBC, CBS, and FOX. According to Michael David Smith of
profootballsports.nbcsports.com Despite predictions of drops in ratings due to concussions,
domestic violence, or other issues the sport still continues to thrive .The sport is becoming more
and more popular and many people believe we should watch it even though there is problems
that make some people not want to watch the game. Some people believe football should not be
watched or played due to injuries and some players being bad role models towards children.
Concussions are a major reason why people believe football is a bad thing because they can

Drinking Age Essay
Drinking Age When teen agers turn 18, they are told that they are adults and are sent into the
world. They go to college, get a job, marry or join the military. They do grown up things like
vote, pay taxes and become parents. But they can t go to the pub for a beer because when it
comes to liquor, they are still just kids. Where s the fairness in the 21 and older drinking law?
First, it is necessary to question this law. Why is 21 the magical age that makes one intelligent and
mature enough to consume alcohol? Surely, some adults abuse alcohol and some teenagers would
be perfectly able to drink responsibly. This seemingly arbitrary number is associated with
adulthood, as if the day a person turns 21 they know everything and... Show more content on

When they have the opportunity to drink, they do so in an irresponsible manner because
drinking by these youth is seen as a badge of rebellion against authority and a symbol of
adulthood. Clearly, this kind of devious attitude does not encourage responsible drinking. While
young people in foreign countries learn to regard moderate drinking as an enjoyable social
activity, young Americans view it as something they have to sneak around to do. If 18 year olds
do not have legal access to even a beer in a public place, they are ill equipped to deal with the
responsibilities that come with drinking when they do have the right. The drinking age should
be lowered because the current age has no real basis. With a lowered drinking age, fewer
problems will be present. Safe drinking needs to be taught, along with drinking in moderation.
All of the arguments for having a raised drinking level or retaining the current one are weak. The
problems that make a drinking age limit necessary are better solved through a lowered drinking
level. Tightening the laws on underage drinking is wrong, as laws will still be broken and
people 20 years, 364 days and younger will continue to consume alcohol. The answer to the
problem of underage drinking is not to add more restrictions, rather, it is simple: get rid of the
underage part. With the thrill of breaking the law gone and the access to the bar granted, people,
especially college

Emma Trull Mr. Moore Physical Science L1 Research Paper: Newton s Laws of Motion 22
October 2015 Newton s 3 Laws of Motion Isaac Newton was a physicist and mathematician of
the 17th century. Newton developed the principles of modern physics. He created the three laws
of motion popular in the world of science and our daily lives ( Issac Newton Biography ).
Newton s first law states that an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion
unless acted upon by another force. The second law states acceleration occurs when a force acts on
an object. The higher the mass the more force needed. And... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Your hand creates a new force, which makes the first two unbalanced. Or if say your dog
knocked the cup off the surface, it would also be disrupting the forces. Anything that is a new
force and comes in contact with it will unbalance it. A second example of this first law is
another everyday object, a car. However this one is actually creating a force, not just being
controlled by them. When a car is moving down a road it is pushing against the road and the
road is also pushing it back. If the driver keeps their foot on the gas pedal it will keep the forces
balanced ( Newton s First Law of Motion: Examples of the Effect of Force on Motion ).
However, if something comes in contact with the car, like a tree, it will unbalance the forces
currently on the car and the car will stop moving. For the final example imagine you re playing a
game of bowling with a bunch of your friends. The bowling ball shows an example of Newton s
first law. By throwing the ball you are putting forces on it when it begins to roll. It is being
pushed down the lane and pushing against the lane. A rolling ball will keep rolling until it hits
something or until friction takes over. In this case at one point the ball will stop, either when
colliding with the pins or when rolling down gutter to the stop wall. Newton s second law states:
Acceleration occurs when a force acts on an object. The higher the mass the more force needed (
Newton s Laws ). The first example for this law is a

Physics Of Soccer Essay
Gustav Magnus, a German physicist was the first to come up with a reason for the horizontal
swerve of a spinning object. This net force due to differential air flow pattern around a body is
called the Magnus force (Ling, 2002). This lateral movement effect is known as the Magnus
effect (Ling, 2002). Actually, the basic principle of a curving ball in soccer is nearly similar as in
diverse sports like tennis, cricket, baseball and golf. Soccer matches are п¬Ѓlled with complex
aerodynamics as evidenced in the way balls curve and swerve through the air (Chartier, Barber,
2007). Take the example of a spinning ball about an alignment perpendicular to the air flow across
it. The air moves quicker compared to the ball s center where the edge of the ball is... Show more

A ball spinning that is moving through the air, experience a two different forces that are largely
divided into categories, one is the drag and the other a lift force. The lift force is the sideways or
upwards force that contributes to the Magnus effect and the force of drag which is in the
direction that is opposite to the soccer ball s path. A ball spinning with an angular velocity П‰
experiences a lift (or Magnus) force in the direction of П‰Г— v with magnitude (Goff, Carre,
2010).
Drag Aerodynamics
The use of trajectory analysis will help us to understand the aerodynamic coefficients of a soccer
ball rather than the wind tunnel experiments. Wind tunnel experiments have demonstrated that air
flow around a soccer ball transitions from laminar to turbulent at speeds between 20 and 30 mph,
depending on the surface structure and texture of the ball
(Chartier, Barber, 2007). Using the trajectory analysis allows you test the soccer ball at low speeds
and high spin rates, this allows for higher spin parameters than the wind tunnel experiments. As an
object moves through the air, the air resists the motion of the object

As this is partially true, there is an actual system that officially proclaims the verdict. The judicial
branch in North Korea and South Korea vary immensely, especially from the lens of an American
reader. In South Korea, a Supreme Court exists along with Constitutional Courts. The Supreme
Court is made up of a board of fourteen justices, including one chief justice. Constitutional Courts
carry a similar model of nine justices with one court head (Indexmundi.com). The President
appoints the chief justice of the Supreme Court with approval of the National Assembly. All
justices serve a term of six years, yet the chief justice s term cannot be repeated. Justices in the
Constitutional Court are appointed evenly by the President, National Assembly, and Supreme Court
chief justice. The court head serves until their retirement at seventy years of age. The other justices
in the Constitutional Court serve six year terms, which can be consecutive, but must retire by the
age of sixty five (Indexmundi.com). In North Korea, the courts are less complicated and follow a
strict rule the form of government sets. There is a Supreme Court, also known as the Central Court,
that has three judges, who serve for five years, selected by the National Assembly. Lower courts do
exist where the Supreme People s Assembly appoint the judges (Indexmundi.com). Comparing both

  • 3. Aryan Race In Human History 1.The Aryan Race, which was originally created as a form of categorization was used in the late 19th century to the mid 20th century to describe multiple types of people. While originally intended to be used as a neutral ethnolinguistic classification, the Nazis promoted it as more of a racial hierarchy, making it known that the Germanic peoples were the Master racewho they then called Aryan. The main role for the Aryan Race in human history was to become the Master Race, creating all kinds of techniques, art, and science. Segments of modern and classic civilization were built on this race, they were very ambitious with the mindset to move forward in history and remain at the top. Aryans have always worked to be the leading group in humanity, dating back to the deepest parts of their roots. Their ability to adapt and develop were impeccable which also made them unconquerable in the eyes of many others, so nations served them without quarrel. 2.Jews were identified by Theorist Hans F. K. He valued the purity in which we were born, the preservation of our racial foundation, the strength that we possess as a whole when we re pure. Many people during that time wanted to mix blood creating a force that was weaker than if they were a pure blooded nation attacking at full force. The allied victory was a disappointment to Hitler because in his eyes the nation was being robbed systematically and ultimately the country was being destroyed. However, he did see a bright side to it all. While they did end up facing a defeat, he knew that one day the new generation would come in to reflect on what the old generation had done and work hard to continue what they had ... • 5. Buffers Lab Report Title: Buffering Capacity of Common Antacids including Tums, Generic Tums and Generic Alka Seltzer. Introduction: This experiment is going to test the ability of antacids and how they absorb acid to see which is a better buffer. An antacid neutralizes acid, and this helps the most with heartburn. Heartburn is where stomach acid is regurgitated back into the esophagus, and this causes a burning feeling in the chest (Oxford University Press, 2017). A buffer is a source of hydroxide ions that can absorb hydrogen ions, which in turn keeps the pH stable (Mader, 2017). In this experiment, the different antacids that are being tested to absorb the hydrogen ions from stomach acid are the buffers. The pH scale helps determine how acidic or basic a solution ... All solutions became purple. 10ml of each antacid solution was removed from its beaker and placed in an appropriately labeled test tube, using a pipette. The pipette was cleaned thoroughly between transferring each antacid solution. 1 drop of 0.1m hydrogen chloride (HCl) was added to each test tube. Each test tube was then swirled to mix thoroughly. 0.1m of HCl was continuously added to each test tube drop by drop, mixing after each drop, until the solution lost its purple color and appeared yellow. Using a counterfeit money detection pen These pens are easy to use and are an important weapon in detecting counterfeit bills. Basically, you make a mark on the bill the same way you would when using a felt pen. If the mark changes to a color indicated by the manufacturer of the pen, then the bill is fake. These pens are checking for certain common chemicals that are used when criminals produce fake money. Check for the feel of the note and the printing If you are still unsure after the above three checks, you can take a bill that is known to be authentic and compare this to the suspicious bill. The first thing to compare is the feel of the bill. Fake bills may have a thinner texture to them. A better comparison is with the printing. • 9. The Effects Of Pollution On The Air Quality Standard The two biggest air pollution in California are transportation such as cars and trucks and stationary sources such as oil refineries and industry facilities. Two major pollutions are ozone and fine particulate materials. Ozone also known as smog. The cause of smog includes the automobile and industrial processes that involve combustion of fossil fuels. The products of fossil fuel consumption are sulfur dioxide, particles, ground level ozone, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and lead. Ground level ozone formed when nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds heat up under the sunlight to produce ozone. These petroleum based fuels mainly come from burning fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel: pollution that comes from our power plants and industrial facilities and from the exhaust pipes of our cars, trucks, ships and trains. Cole uses an actual line to outline the banks of the Connecticut River bending through the pastoral land. Actual lines are also used to define the edge of the horizon in the distance. He also used actual lines to portray the rows of manicured farmland. The first geometric shape I could make out is the triangle of the tiny easel in the middle ground. Other geometric shapes include the outlines of the pastures and fields. You see very angular boundaries and rows of plowed fields. There are plenty of organic shapes as well. Cole uses chiaroscuro to create the illusion of the ominous nature of the forest and the dark clouds, the impression of heavy rain clouds. Light as a medium seems to me defined as actual light, which I do not believe is used in two dimensional works. I believe color, and in part lack of, is very important to this masterpiece. Cole colors the river valley light green and light brown to show vibrancy and cultivation of the cleared fields. He colors the forest dark green and eliminates colors in the shattered tree trunks and rugged cliffs to show the natural wonder of the untouched forest. These differences in color show how man is destroying the natural wilderness in favor of agricultural advancement. I believe Cole purposely avoided the appearance of unity in this painting. The separation between the two landscapes was not a peaceful transition. He wanted to show the diversity between the natural land from the cultivated land. Olsen and Brett Inder♦ ABSTRACT: To explain the value added along the coffee commodity chain we propose and estimate a theoretical model of the coffee commodity chain. The theoretical model consists of four markets and five agents in the coffee commodity chain and predicts that prices in the coffee commodity chain move together but are also influenced by income, technology and production. A vector error correction model is used to test the theoretical predictions. Darity and Davis (2005) argue that in the study of uneven development the North South trade and growth literature provides insights which have been neglected by the later literature of new growth theory and new trade theory. This has encouraged us to apply North South models to the coffee value chain. The theoretical model derived in section 2 builds on Bloch and Sapsford (2000) who model primary commodities used as inputs in the production of manufacturing. Where Bloch and Sapsford (2000) take an aggregate view of primary commodities and manufactures, we here focus on coffee and hereby take an approach similar to Boratav (2001) who examines terms of trade for individual commodities. And just like Bloch, Dockery, and Sapsford (2004) we analyse the effect of mark up on wages and commodity prices on the final consumer prices. Price transmission literature such as Hazell, Jaramillo, and Williamson (1990), Mundlak and Larson (1992), Baffes and Gardner (2003), Krivonos (2004), Morisset (1998) and Weldegebriel (2004) also offer a framework to analyse prices of commodities at different 3 nodes of the commodity chain. It s primary advancement came through its application in biology with the pursuit for an explanation regarding the evolutionary complexity of living organisms (5). Mikulecky in The emergence of complexity: science coming of age or science growing old? offers a concise definition of complexity: Complexity is the property of a real world system that is manifest in the inability of any one formalism being adequate to capture all its properties (1). Patrick Weaver in A Simple View of Complexity in Project Managementidentifies two primary attributes of the social network, referred to as social capital: the knowledge required to deliver the project outcome and the willingness to achieve the project outcome. Further details regarding these notions and their application can be seen in the section Complexity theory for Project Management. Chaos theory, traditionally, is a field of applied mathematics that studies the dynamic nature of systems that are sensitive to initial conditions. The most famous case of this involves computer simulated weather predictions by Edward Lorenz in 1960 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Here Lorenz discovered that minute changes to initial conditions introduced major and unpredictable consequences to the weather system this became known as the butterfly effect. A fundamental premise of chaos theory is that if there is only a finite amount of information about a particular system, then at some point the system will no longer be predictable. Thus, chaos theory focuses on how simple systems give rise to complicated and unpredictable behavior whereas complexity theory focuses on how systems consisting of many elements lead to well organized and predictable behavior. Due to this, chaos and complexity should be viewed as complementary ideas in order to fully influence different thought processes as to how organizations and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Therefore, the current issue is whether or not the unfitted N95 masks are actually more beneficial than surgical masksfor the patients. This is because we are asking them to be worn while not fitting them. I selected this topic because I noticed there were inconsistencies within the practice of each nurse regarding the use of N95 masks versus surgical masks. A belief that most Christians hold that can be traced back to the Apostle s Creed is that Godthe Father is maker of heaven and earth . This relation can be represented in different ways depending on the author and the genre but also depending on the effects it will have on the readership and on its goal in the story. A very simplistic and legal definition of what a parentchild relationship is can be given through the biological links. However, sometimes the relationship between a parental figure such as an adoptive father/motherand its child is not that easy to understand especially because a link which is different and sometimes stronger than the biological one is created. This is why depending on which parental figure one refers to, parent child relationships can be chaotic, a source of suffering or helpful and harmonised such as the ones in Stephen King s The Shining. They can be represented as a form of unconditional love, involving sometimes to risk one of the parent s life and to brave dangers like in Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu s Carmilla. They can be completely omnipresent and terrible like the ones in Mary Shelly s Frankenstein or they can be very confusing as it is the case in John Ajvide Lindqvist s Let the Right One In. This approach is implemented within the production phase where similar parts, technology and systems designs, equipment and knowledge are used in various VW brands to attain cost savings in procurement, research and development, worker training. This platform strategy was implemented primarily in Europe where production costs were soaring and profits decreasing. It eliminated various corporate redundancies that had caused the sagging profits. By borrowing design ideas from VW s other brands, they were able to utilize common suppliers and eliminate unique sub structures that added considerable cost in money, time or technology. This strategy allowed a strong technology/knowledge transfer between plants. • 37. Power And Authority In Big Brother, By George Orwell The opening paragraph for chapter 11 begins with the story written by George Orwell in 1949 about how the government, Big Brother , came in between two lovers in order to restore the loyalty to the state. While this is more extreme than any government we have today, it still shows that in order to work, the government and politics need power and authority. Authority is power that is viewed as legitimately exercised over an individual, while coercion is power that is viewed as unjustly used over an individual. The state has a monopoly on violence and can use violence to punish those it sees fit. The only way that the state could be punished is by the state s citizens, if enough of them see their power as illegitimate. There are different types of authority that Max Weberidentified; traditional, rational legal, and charismatic. Traditional authority comes from patterns and customs that place certain people in power. Rational legal authority is based on law and written rules. Charismatic authority is based on loyalty and can have many problems when it comes to the transfer of leadership. There are many types of authority, and there are also many types of government. There is a monarchy, based on hereditary rule, and a democracywhere citizens give the ruler power. There is also a dictatorship where an individual is in charge of all, and a oligarchy where a group is in charge of all. Biofuels As A Fuel Source Biofuels as a Fuel Source: Paper 3 In a time of energy crisis and a subsequent search for a renewable replacement for crude oil, biofuels have arisen as a source of hope. Currently, the largest source of biofuels in the United States is corn based ethanol. The large scale of corn ethanol production and the potential promise of finding a domestic, reliable source of energy, requires the fuel s viability as a replacement for crude oil to be evaluated. However, there is debate surrounding corn based ethanol s environmental, economic, and social impacts. The scientists and governments who support the development of biofuels claim that it will not only provide a new and sustainable source of energy but also that it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and is therefore better for the environment. However, although corn based ethanol continues to harbor support from the United States government, environmentalists argue that ethanol is not substantially better for the environment, especially when the effects of its production are taken into account. Also, while some larger farms profit from ethanol production, it places economic stress upon smaller farms and the agricultural industry and leads to higher food prices that are a great detriment to those living at the level of subsistence. Therefore, in order to produce energy efficient, environmentally friendly fuel, the United States must work towards developing cellulosic biofuels and those produced by microbes as they have ... Clearly, this kind of devious attitude does not encourage responsible drinking. While young people in foreign countries learn to regard moderate drinking as an enjoyable social activity, young Americans view it as something they have to sneak around to do. If 18 year olds do not have legal access to even a beer in a public place, they are ill equipped to deal with the responsibilities that come with drinking when they do have the right. The drinking age should be lowered because the current age has no real basis. With a lowered drinking age, fewer problems will be present. Safe drinking needs to be taught, along with drinking in moderation. All of the arguments for having a raised drinking level or retaining the current one are weak. Newton developed the principles of modern physics. He created the three laws of motion popular in the world of science and our daily lives ( Issac Newton Biography ). Or if say your dog knocked the cup off the surface, it would also be disrupting the forces. Anything that is a new force and comes in contact with it will unbalance it. A second example of this first law is another everyday object, a car. However this one is actually creating a force, not just being controlled by them. When a car is moving down a road it is pushing against the road and the road is also pushing it back. If the driver keeps their foot on the gas pedal it will keep the forces balanced ( Newton s First Law of Motion: Examples of the Effect of Force on Motion ). However, if something comes in contact with the car, like a tree, it will unbalance the forces currently on the car and the car will stop moving. For the final example imagine you re playing a game of bowling with a bunch of your friends. The bowling ball shows an example of Newton s first law. By throwing the ball you are putting forces on it when it begins to roll. It is being pushed down the lane and pushing against the lane. A rolling ball will keep rolling until it hits something or until friction takes over. In this case at one point the ball will stop, either when colliding with the pins or when rolling down gutter to the stop wall. This net force due to differential air flow pattern around a body is called the Magnus force (Ling, 2002). This lateral movement effect is known as the Magnus effect (Ling, 2002). Actually, the basic principle of a curving ball in soccer is nearly similar as in diverse sports like tennis, cricket, baseball and golf. Soccer matches are п¬Ѓlled with complex aerodynamics as evidenced in the way balls curve and swerve through the air (Chartier, Barber, 2007). A ball spinning with an angular velocity П‰ experiences a lift (or Magnus) force in the direction of П‰Г— v with magnitude (Goff, Carre, 2010). Drag Aerodynamics The use of trajectory analysis will help us to understand the aerodynamic coefficients of a soccer ball rather than the wind tunnel experiments. Wind tunnel experiments have demonstrated that air flow around a soccer ball transitions from laminar to turbulent at speeds between 20 and 30 mph, depending on the surface structure and texture of the ball (Chartier, Barber, 2007).
