The specialized language can also be known as lexis. For the nursing community lexis is a main part
from the writing communication. The community would use abbreviations and codes for some
medical terminology and for these abbreviations all the medical staff knows these terms in order
for them to know what is going on in the patients case. For example, the abbreviation SOB means
short of breath, CABG means coronary artery bypass graft, and GB means gallbladder. These
are only some of the specialized languages that are approved from the accreditations agency.
According to Henderson, the nurses and the other medical staff have to be careful when writing

Billy Collins and Carol Ann Duffy, in their poems Litany and Mrs Darwin respectively, challenge
accepted conventions of love through satire. Collins parodies the convention of Western love poetry
to compare the beloved to objects in nature. The title of the poem, Litany, admits to a long,
tedious list and the first two lines of the poem, an allusion to Jacques Crickillon s poem,
highlights Litany as a critique of traditional love poetry while Mrs Darwin parodies the structure
of a scientific journal. This structure allows Duffy to humour the audience with the thought that
it was this offhand mockery that led to the infamous The Origin of Species, published seven
years after 7 April 1852, while the first three rhyming lines that builds up to the punchline,
separated by a dash, reminds the reader of the familiar form of a joke. Comparatively, Collin
employs end stops to allow the reader to pause between each metaphor, to emphasise his message
and to create rhythm in his poem. Collins criticises the idealism of love, because while she is the
bread and the knife he also comments on her deficiencies, telling there is just no way she has

The antagonist of all life, death people quiver at the sight of the word. My job is to let the
process of death happen. I come and go into people s lives, most humans can t even see me, and
only the ones near death can. Once you see me, you re swallowed into the jaws of death. It s a

difficult because I struggled to fit in. Eatingat the dinner table with my aunts, uncles, and cousins
became an uncomfortable activity. I was constantly met with criticism, confusion, and
disappointment. I was also pressured, from several familymembers, to return to my past ways of
eating. I could no longer share in the experience of eating these traditional foods with my family.
They felt like I was rejecting them, which was definitely not the case. Although foodis a major part
of my culture, it is not the only thing that connects me to it. I can still engage with song,
language, and dance. Those things were important for me to remember when I first started out as
a vegan. My decision to stop eating meat and dairy wasn t about my family. It was about living in
a way that does the least harm to the planet and its sentient beings. Nowadays, I m experiencing
more understanding from my family. Some of them have been doing their own research and are
open to having conversations with me about eating ethically. Of course, there are a lot of

modifications. The MSM contained of following constituents (g/l): Na2HPO4.2H2O (12.0),
KH2PO4 (2.0), NH4NO3 (0.50), MgCl2.6H2O (0.10), Ca(NO3)2.4H20 (0.050), FeCl2.4H20
(0.0075) with 10 ml of trace element solution per liter. The trace element solution was prepared as
follows (mg/l): ZnSO4.7H2O (10.0), MnCl2.4H2O (3.0), CoCl2.6H2O (1.0), NiCl2.6H2O (2.0),
Na2MoO4.2H2O (3.0), H3BO3 (30.0), CuCl2.2H2O (1.0). Further, MSM was blended with
